Also known as the Covered Bridge, the Wooden Bridge appears derelict, connecting from the Courtyard. The appearance has been kept dated due to the natural environment surrounding it, despite attempts to improve it. Though the floor occasionally creaks beneath your feet, that is just for the effect as you can look out into the horizon from here safely.
Abby smiled at Hope and said "Yeah well i do know a few quiet places that you can read in peace, like the room of requirement that can become a reading room and you will basically not be disturbed, and yeah we do see each other on the odd occasion but not often enough i do love my sisters and i am sure i will be able to introduce you to them soon"
"I have no doubt that you love them. I'm sure that you guys will get in touch as much as possible. It's just a little hard with being in different houses. I guess. I don't really know for sure." She smiled at Abby. "So do you have a boyfriend?" Hope was a very nosey person. it got her into trouble some times, but it was on her mind because Valentine's Day was just around the corner.

Abby smiled and said "Yeah it is difficult being in different houses when we are at all but we are very different so when we are at home for the holidays we are always doing our own thing, and i do have a boyfriend but to be honest i do not have a clue what is happening i have not seen him in a long time and i am worried about what has happened to him" Abby wasn't sure where Ty was but she had not seen him about the school all year so far so safe to say that she should really try to find somebody else because she could not be kept waiting about

"oh I see. I'm sorry. I hope you can still keep in better touch. Family is family. You will always have each other." She smiled at Abby. She knew how it was wrong apart from family. Her and her brother were drifting, but he was 4 years older than her. And a muggle. They had alot of differences.
"You haven't seen your boyfriend all year? Wow! That's not so good. I know I'm new to this dating thing, but shouldn't you atleast see the person you are dating?" that was a bit weird, but who knew but them the reasons why they hadn't seen each other. It could've been that something happened.. she didn't know.
Melbourne grinned over to Haddie and shrugged, “my parents were magizoologists” she explained and shrugged her shoulder. “They weren’t the smartest though…they kind of got eaten by dragons at the dragon reserve I was born at” she admitted with a shrug of her shoulder. “Mum didn’t even know she was pregnant with me” she admitted with a laugh.
“I…its something I grew up with? I’m more into potions and the idea of making money,” she admitted with a grin. “Lionesses are amazing though honestly,” she grinned. “I’m really into lions my favorite is the Common Welsh dragon “ she admitted with a grin.
“Oh my gosh of course I will!” She beamed, “heck I can even make copies of my sisters books and notes for you so we can ace these classes” she grinned over to her. “we are going to be like the best potioneers ever by the end of this” she smirked. “Do you want to head to the library now and like make our own giant book of potions and things to try? Maybe we can find some helpful tips?” she wondered and grinned to herself more than anything else.
"That sounds like a super awesome career! Wait..." Haddie blinked, Mel's words sinking in. "Your parents were eaten!?" And she said so nonchalant, too. "Wow, that's... wow. Uh, sorry..." Really makes one rethink... No. No, that still sounds like an amazing career. Did that make Haddie a bad person?
"Lionesses are incredible." Dragons were cool and all, and Haddie definitely wanted to see one one day, but she'd spent 12 years wanting a pet lioness, and it was hard to topple first place when lions had a 12 year head start on dragons. "When I was a kid I wanted to run a lion rescue. Dad would always have a sour expression whenever I talked about it, it was hilarious." Wait, was bringing up her Dad after being told Mel's dad got ate insensitive? Haddie awkwardly rolled on the balls of her feet, biting her lip in silence.
She didn't really like the idea of studying when she didn't have too, well, studying potions, but it was something to do and fill the awkward silence. Besides, looking through magic books and seeing all the amazing things she could do one day with magic was always interesting. Haddie shrugged. "Sure, why not? So..." she grinned, as she followed Mel back down the bridge. "Remind me again, which one of us in the Ravenclaw, and which is the Gryffindor." Because you know, suggesting they go study, that was definitely a Ravenclaw thing.

Abby nodded and said "Yeah i do know that Hope and yeah i haven't i have no idea where he is because well he hasn't been in touch for ages but i am not going to worry about it" Abby knew there was plenty of things better that she could focus on
She chuckled as he pantomimed being a vampire (or at least what muggles thought vampires were like when they weren't twinkling like diamonds and pouting moodily). "Oh no, and me without my garlic...."
And then he started fiddling with this cuff. Daisy felt bad that she didn't realize that Damien wasn't wearing his usual leather jacket, which was odd because the boy wore it even when it was 100 degrees outside. "Stressed...tense...overworked and underwhelmed..."
She sighed again and leaned back so her head was over the railing, brown hair hanging down. There were cracks in the ceiling of the bridge and the light twinkled through here and there. "I wake up sometimes - middle of the night. Feels like spiders are crawling all over me..."
He grinned at the comment about the garlic. Damien didn't know a thing about vampire;, other than coffins, wooden stakes, garlic and sunlight. "I happen to love garlic," he commented before another light chuckle.
Crossing his arms over his chest, he studied Daisy. The socially acceptable thing to do would ask for more information on the stress, tension, etc... But he didn't feel like being acceptable.
Damien shrugged his shoulders, at the spiders comment. "Well, that little guys on your arm seems to be making himself quite comfortable."

Now, Daisy had never been the type of girl to freak out about spiders and bugs. She grew up with brothers. Spiders, bugs, gnomes in your bed, worms in your spaghetti– even the occasional Fire Newt in her underwear drawer – didn’t really bother. And wouldn’t have bothered her if it hadn’t been for one thing: the Hogwarts Spider Incident of 2087. Yep, Daisy had been unfortunate enough to get caught in a tunnel and then caught in spiderwebs. Worse, she’d been caught with girls who hated spiders, froze up and then started tossing their cauldron cakes all over the place.
And it had gotten worse…because spiders had started raining from the ceiling. She swore she had picked spiders out of her hair for a week. Webs, itchy bumps, upchuck, and spiders – those four things should be enough for anyone to develop a dislike for arachnids.
So, Daisy squealed, in a very un-Daisy-like fashion while flailing her arms about. “Get it off! Get it off!”
Damien couldn't really recall a time he actually flat out laughed at anything or anyone. He hadn't really meant to be cruel or malicious, but Daisy's reaction was too good to not laugh. He had to back away to keep from getting flailed at and would have let it continue a bit longer.
"My -- mistake," he said in between fits of laughter. "Must have been a piece of lint or some dirt."
Yeah, that was mean. But he never said he was nice.

Yeah, that was mean. But he never said he was nice.
The flailing continued and turned into near panic. Until she heard laughter. Did he just say lint? Dirt?! Daisy stopped flailing long enough thoroughly pat both arms down. Then she hauled off and gave Damien her best sisterly ‘you are a giant git’ smack on the arm. “Why,” smack. “Are you, “Smack. “So mean?!” she fumed.
Daisy gave Damien one more well-deserved smack on the arm and then huffed. Damien was hard to stay mad at. He was also so mopey and sad that when he actually showed signs of happiness, it was infectious. “You,” she said a smile pulling at the corner of her lips. “Are not a nice person. Why do you I like you?” his prank had seemed to pull both of them out of their respective funks. Now if only Daisy’s heart would stop racing like a snitch in play.
Damien continued to laugh with each smack, mumbling and "Ow" after each one.
That was the cool thing about Daisy. Most girls would yell and scream at him, storm off and hold some kind of grudge until he made a gigantic gesture of apology, begging said girl to come back into his life.
Clearly those girls didn't know him. At. All.
"I never said I was a nice person," he said with a chuckle. Then something else she said caught him off guard, causing him to stop laughing. That uncertainty feeling started to creep in on him again. A feeling he knew all too well.
He cleared his throat and ran his hand through his hair. "Fancy a walk?" he asked.

The two shared a nice quiet moment, both lost in their own thoughts. It didn't escape Daisy's notice that Damien had stopped laughing. In fact, the smile seemed to leave his eyes again. She watched him out of the corner of her eye and wondered if she had said something wrong. It wouldn't be the first time she had. Daisy tended to speak her mind without thinking of the consequences. That tendency had gotten her into many a row with Noah.
A cough broke the silence. "Sure," she said offering a smile. It appeared that whatever she had said hadn't been that bad. He wasn't yelling at her, threatening to curse her hair to fall out, or storming off in a huff. "Go feed the squid?" she offered, not sure if he had a destination in mind.

Hope smiled at Abby. She didn't know what to say so she looked out at the scenery before them. It's so pretty up here.

"Yea I bet you come up here all the time don't you? I think I will. I think it's going to be my spot." Hope thought about that. Yea she would bring her books up here to read. Or she could study here. The wind would be a little bit of a problem, but there was always things to help with that. Like her bag.
"Of course I will share my spot with yoU!" She laughed.

"of course! I will have to owl you each week when you leave. That way you don't forget about me." She teased. She knew she had only just met Abby but felt like they had been friends a while.
"I'll also be sending you things. I bake alot, so I hope you mind goodies."

The thing was this: Damien did have social skills. He just chose to use them incorrectly, or to not use them at all. He either pushed people away, or drew in the wrong crowd.
This girl was an exception.
This was different.
Her smile brought light back. "Maybe we can teach it a few tricks," he added, motioning for her to join him.

"good!" Then remembering she had some brownies in her bag, she fished them out.
"here you go! It's homemade brownies." She passed the ziploc bag of brownies to her friend. "I hope you enjoy!"

"me too. I was starting to get cabin fever. All I do is study and go to class. It was getting rather boring." Hope said looking at Abby. She was a very pretty girl. Hope wished when she got Abby's age that she turned out to be pretty too.

Abby smiled at Hope and said "Yeah you don't want to be stuck indoors for too long because you would go totally crazy if you study for too long" Abby knew from personal experience
Hope nodded at Abby. Totally agreeing with her when a big gust of wind tumbled through. It was so strong that it had picked up Hope's bag, and since it was unzipped, threw the belongings everywhere. Slightly embarrassed, Hope jumped up to collect her things. Books, quills, her wand, and various of baked goods were scattered. She hurried to pick up her wand and school supplies first. Fearing another gust of wind might take them off.
