Also known as the Covered Bridge, the Wooden Bridge appears derelict, connecting from the Courtyard. The appearance has been kept dated due to the natural environment surrounding it, despite attempts to improve it. Though the floor occasionally creaks beneath your feet, that is just for the effect as you can look out into the horizon from here safely.
Azura nodded as Brady spoke, that sounded about right.. "I do that a bit too much I think. I'll just be standing there, thinking about something and before you know it.. I've thought myself into a panic, when there was nothing to freak out about." Over thinking.. Gotta love it..
Not actually. Curse her Ravenclaw Brain. What was it like to be a Hufflepuff? Was it happy there?
She smiled a bit at his words, "It's probably because we are little, apparenly being small means that we are easy targets!" She said with a shake of her head. "When I'm older, I'm going to help all the younger kids!" Yup, that was exactly what she was going to do! Not make fun of them at all.
And she would warn them to stay off the scary bridge!
Azure nodded, "I think I'm all right now, thank you Brady.. for the dose of common sense.. I need that sometimes." She said with a smile at him.
She blamed the fwoopers in her head for her silliness.
She sighed at his words. "It sounds like you are a very good best friend to have." Her purple eyes shone warmly at him.
"I think most people do that and the ones that don't are just liars, you know?"
Brady liked what she was going to do when she was older with the younger kids. "I will too and I'll probably teach them how to pull pranks." Since he had been at Hogwarts he hadn't pulled a prank yet but he was trying to figure out the right time for him to pull the prank.
He just wanted to make sure. The first year Hufflepuff was going ask her again to make sure that's what she really felt but the boy felt like that would be way too much asking the same question for one day. Instead the Scottish first year just nodded and smiled at the girl.
Brady shrugged and nod. "Yeah I suppose I am." He said with a smile.

Paul was taking a morning stroll alone. It was sort of quiet, and most students would not be out yet. He adored the students, and he loved interacting with them on a daily basis, but right now..he just sort of needed the space to think and meditate, to reflect.
The bridge was always a nice place to walk. Hands shoved in his pockets, Paul began to make his way across, whistling to himself in a calm way. A melancholy tune if he ever knew one.
He spotted a student and grabbed his wand in his pocket and slowly slid it out.
A few bubbles sprouted from the end of it...floated gently over Illa's head, and one landed right on her nose without popping. Paul...had to let out a chuckle.
Ilia was staring down at the letter in her hand, a bit more anger welling up once she finished reading it once more. It really wasn't fair. She held it out and drew her wand. Burning it away might make her feel some sense of peace inside. Just enough satisfaction in erasing the paper version of her mother's insensitve words to make her able to get through the day.
She was all prepared to cast the spell when suddenly...... A bubble landed upon her nose? Wait! What!? She froze and stared at the little orb that balanced perfectly upon the tip of her nose. She didn't dare to breathe for a second as she looked up to see who was giggling. Oh, it was the herbology Professor. Well......that was unexpected.....
She gave him a slow, soft smile. "Good morning Professor. " Her voice was quiet, barely above a whisper as she set the offending piece of paper back down. It was awfully early and raining, she didn't think that anyone else would be around. Apparently, to her slight chagrin, she was wrong.
"I felt like im not worth for you.. i even left you at the library, i feel bad and unworthy to have you" Raven mourn, he's regret his stupidity
"do you really think im worth for you? I wanna make you happy and keep you smile, but just in a sec i'm able to leave you alone.. i'm afraid Jess.. of myself, i dont want to make you sad or cry" Raven look at Jessie intensely.. he caressing her hair, with a soft tone "I'm so sorry, i really sorry, i do love you" Raven touch Jessie cheek and gave her a soft kiss in the cheek.. he look at her again, with sad eyes "what should i do?"
"You just don't believe in yourself. I'm sure you can do it if you want. " Jessie wrapped her arms to his waist. Leaning her head to his chest. Jessie realized how tall Raven is compared to her petite body
"So warm..." Jessie take a deep breath "Let me hold you for a while. "
"Would you promise me to trust yourself ?" Jessie whispered to his chest. "I love you too,Raven."
There was a rickety old bridge on the school grounds! It was built crooked so the bridge didn't seem to be even down it's length, or at least appeared that way from the outside. But that wasn't the interesting part. THERE WAS A RICKETY BRIDGE! And it wasn't closed off for safety.
So naturally, Hadley had to explore it. She stood at entrance, off of the courtyard and stared down it's length before taking a deep breath. One step and now she was on the bridge. The boards under her feet giving off a satisfying creak. She wandered on, deeper down the bridge until finally she stopped and looked down puzzled.
The boards creaked, but there was no shaking, no sensation that anything was going to collapse at any moment. What gives!? Haddie hopped up and down in place. The boards beneath her creaked and groaned but remained totally stable, like the rest of the bridge.

How disappointing.
Melbourne Johanson had read about this bridge in Hogwarts-a…no, don’t even go there she was nothing like Hermione Granger. Melbourne Johanson would never be anything like the Gryffindor of the part. Hermione was bookish and sure, Mel liked books but she wasn’t bookish…she was more the type to open a comic book than read an actual book. Still, she had read that book on the train to school because after a few hours mindlessly chatting with people got boring.
Walking to the historically rebuilt rickety looking bridge she just smiled to herself….would they care if she paid homage to the great wizarding war and made things go BOOM? Not like she’d do it when it was in use that would be cruel….oh how many skeletons were down there? She wondered as she peered down toward the looming ground that was sooooooooooo far away she could hardly even see it..
Walking further down the bridge Mel just cricked her eyebrow up at a jumping girl…Ravenclaws were weird. She knew this first hand with how her family had always been. This girl was probably not an exception to the rule.
“isn’t magical construction amazing?” She blurted out at the girl almost answering the girls question as she walked over. “I mean, they rebuilt this bridge in the 1990s after the great wizarding war…and still they went for the rickety looking thing that looks like it was built by a toddler.” Ah sticking charms.

Spencer smiled. "It's a very beautiful day, what a pity it won't be like this for long. said Spencer. Spencer loved the beaut view that was around them, there was so many beautiful places around Hogwarts and Hope that his creative juices started to flow through him.
Hope meant alot to him, he cared about her more then anything, and there was nothing that he wouldn't do for her. He did anything to make her smile and happy, even if it was foolish and silly, as long as it made her happy and smile he was happy.
Spencer smiled. "Why thanks beautiful, I do try to make my drawings the life lik , but it coming from you means alot."said Spencer giving her a soft warm smile. "I'm glad that you asked me, what do you think that about this?" Spencer asked her as he handed her his drawing he did. "I thought it was quite cool looking, but I didn't know. said Spencer.
"Sounds like a good book I would enjoy I love supernatural stuff, I wasmade fun by my so called old muggle ffriends for read stuff like that. "said Spencer. "I love reading supernatural books and sci-fi books.said Spencer. "I also love fictional books as well, I just love reading."said Spencer.
Hope took the picture that he was showing to her and her mouth just hung open. It was so cool! the lion was very detailed and it would awesome just about anywhere. "That's amazing Spencer! They are going to love putting up for pictures! They would look good anywhere! and I will be pointing to them and saying "My boyfriend did that.'" She gave him a smile as she returned the picture.
As he talked about his love of books, Hope found herself engrossed in what he was talking about. "I love reading too. I think I should be a cross between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. I love reading, but you don't mess with my friends or family. I am also loyal.. Maybe we all have a little of all the houses in us." she somehow got off topic.. Oh well. That's how Hope was.
"I would never make fun of you for reading. My brother makes fun of me all the time for it. Calls me a nerd and all that, but I just ignore him. Then I put puking pansies in his food." Hope giggled as the memories of pranking her brother surrounded her. She looked at Spencer with a big grin.
Walking further down the bridge Mel just cricked her eyebrow up at a jumping girl…Ravenclaws were weird. She knew this first hand with how her family had always been. This girl was probably not an exception to the rule.

"Amazingly boring," Haddie muttered. She gave one last hop trying to get the bridge to do more than creak before glancing up at the other girl. There was a brief look of envy when Haddie saw the girl's gold and red tie. Ah, Gryffindor. The house she should have been. Stupid Sorting Hat. "They took all the fun out of it. What's the point of it looking like this if you don't fear for your life every time you cross it?" She sighed and wandered over to the side and looked straight down. "The view is cool, at least."

Azura nodded as Brady spoke.. "I think you are probably right. not many people would want to admit to that.." Over thinking was probably seen as a weakness or something like that.. But Azura saw it as a sign of strength.. You just needed to know when to STOP thinking.. That was her issue.
She let out a giggle as he spoke and she nodded. "Mmm,teach them how to pull pranks without getting caught! That would be better." See! Helpful older students! That's what they were going to be! They should start a society or something.
Azura smiled warmly at Brady, "It sounds like it. I hope I can be as good of a friend as you are." She said with a warm smile.. and she hoped they could be friends too!
"So when you aren't helping scared Ravenclaw girls across bridges, what do you like to do in your spare time.. other than guitar." She asked him with a warm smile.

Raising her eyebrow at the girl Mel just grinned. “Aw c’mon its not boooring not really…I mean you could make a room that’s bigger on the inside.” Really the prospects of fitting an impossible amount of things into her future places almost made her want to learn….no that was a lie she’d die of boredom if she were a magical contractor.
“Actually…it’s probably boring all lift this here stick it there” tipping her head at the Ravenclaw girl she just grinned. “you know that could be really cool all danger seeking awesome and and and imagine the adrenaline rush?” She squealed happily.
“I keep wondering how many people fell down there during the great war,” Mel admitted with a little mischievous flick of the eye at the ground. “I bet they were thinking aw bloody hell when they fell…or oh merlin…something magical and obviously an expletive” she nodded. “Oh….i’m Melbourne Johanson” she smiled over to the girl emphasizing the ‘burn’ of her name. “how’s Ravenclaw?” She asked glancing over. “All my siblings were basically claws” she admitted with a grin.

"RIGHT!?" Haddie gestured at the girl as if presenting her as an example. Finally! Someone that understood her concept of fun! This is why she needed to be a Gryffindor. "It would be so cool! And so amazing! They have these type of things all over the place in the muggle world, but they're boring too because they fence it off and make it off-limits for safety concerns." She made a face.
There was slight pause as Haddie studied the girl. Was she going to be another Davie that flipped out because she hadn't read Hogwarts: A history and grew up as a muggle and knew very little about the wizarding world and magical history. Nah, that was probably only a Ravenclaw reaction. This girl seemed cool. Haddie looked down again. "People fell here? Cool. Do you think it's possible to climb down and look for skeletons?" That would be great.
"Hadley Denaker," Haddie smiled back. "You can call me Haddie though. I'm the Ravenclaw that joined in on the food fight." She smiled, almost dreamily at the memory. So much fun that had been. "Ravenclaw, is alright, I guess. If you fit there." Which she didn't. "If you ask me, you're the lucky one of your siblings then." She glanced down over the side again. "I really want to go skeleton hunting now."
Wrapping herself in Gryffindor scarf and her favorite jumper, Ava decided to take a walk around the grounds. She really enjoyed the breezy weather of autumn, it was her favorite season ever. Well, she just loved any kind of weather as long as it wasn't thunderstorms and it's nice enough to play outside, or just having a walk around.
Hands in her pockets, the Gryffindor walked passing the wooden bridge. She observed around if there's something interesting that watch worthy or maybe found a friend that she could have a nice chat with. Oh look, wasn't that the new transfiguration Professor? Ava was still unhappy to know that Professor Beatrice didn't teach here anymore. She was such a cool and fun woman, but maybe this Professor too. She seemed chilled and... Cool too. "Good day, Professor Ichihara." She greeted the woman.
She yawned, stretching out her arms over the railing of the bridge. She glanced down, wondering how deep this particular gorge went down and how many items of personal value had sadly been lost to it's depths. Perhaps it was a mark of how bored the older woman was that her mind went to such strange places.
There, another Gryffindor. The school seemed overrun by them. Was that unusual? Was there an influx happening? Yet another question for her peers. "Hello, Miss Burton. Nice day for a walk, yes?" She gave the little thing a warm grin.

Mel’s eyebrows furrowed a bit at the gesturing and then she really got it. This girl wasn’t just a Ravenclaw. She was a Ravendor…or a Gryffinclaw…smart and brave. She was someone Mel would have to keep an eye on or maybe just invite along for any prank planning and shenanigans. “really? But they could make an entire amusement park out of it” she frowned for a moment before grinning at Haddie. “just do what I do and always carry a trusty pair of wire cutters were ever you go.” Yep. It was her secret. She always had them.
She nodded and looked down herself. “I like history things…but only like wars.” Mel admitted, “I mean I collect weapons” she added with a grin. “oooooooh I don’t know but I’m sure we could find a way down there” she beamed at her. “I would want to quote Shakespeare to any skull I found down there” she smirked.
Alas Poor death eater.
“Hadley? That’s a cool name! I might call you Haddie though…and you can always call me Mel…or well Melon and some people even call me Mel-burn or Burny.” She admitted listing the names she had from both family and now students as well. “Really? Why’s that?” She asked curiously. “really? Maybe we could cast some kind of spell? Like the rope one? And a sticking charm…do you know any spells?” She asked excitedly.

But what did they expect with that abandoned mall just sitting there, two blocks away for most of her childhood. How could anyone resist that!?
This girl, this girl got her. They were kindred spirits. So why did the stupid Hat give her Gryffindor and Haddie Ravenclaw? Everything she was saying could have been out of Haddie's own mouth. "That's awesome. How many do you have? What kind of weapons?"
Melon was too good a nickname to pass up. Haddie nodded. "I know a cleaning spell, courtesy of the opening feast fun, and I know how to lock and unlock things." She frowned, looking down at the ground below. "I'm going to go the other end and see if we can climb down. Wanna join, Melon?" She smirked as she said the nickname. With any luck though, the sides wouldn't be any worse than the hills she climbed all the time in California. "Maybe we'll find wands or gold or daggers or something! Oh! Yes yes, Paul, we know.
He took a seat and stared out into the distance. "You feel all right then, Illa?" he asked in a concerned way. He waved his wand and let bubbles come out of his wand once more...floating outward...they looked so peaceful.

With that she closed her eyes.
So much comfort from Jessie's hug, he felt secure and loved.. he still unsure about himself but willing to give another try, Raven felt afraid, especially remembering his family stories or the feeling being abandoned
He's is afraid if he loved her so much and turn to be another saddness
He looked at her, she close her eyes, seem giving him so much trust and faith.. he carry on a burden then, something he must kept deeply
He caress her face, his finger browsing her face softly..
He slowly makes a closer move, his face slowly closer and closer to Jessie's face.. when their nose meet, he close his eyes, whisper came from his lips "i love you Jess"
He touch her lips with her finger, seem to ensure where it was, those soft lips of hers..
And they met.. both of pairs lips.. met and greet each other, with tender and mildness.. not lust but affection and full of comforting..
He hold her tight in his arms, didn't care much to whats the surrounding might look

Melbourne just tipped her head at the girl and frowned slightly. “My parents were never like that…mum wasn’t the smartest,” she admitted with a little incredulous laugh. “When I was really little they used to walk around and even gave me a harness.” She frowned at that.
“Harnesses are evil…I mean, they probably had a good idea, they…I was born and raised at the Welsh Dragon reserve” Mel admitted with a smirking grin…and then the question about the weapons and Mel beamed. “Most of them are at my sister’s apartment in London,” she muttered before donning a little smirk.
“But I can bring you there sometime…we just, need to use a secret pass off of campus that I found out about…I read my sister’s dairy.” She added the last bit with a giant smirking grin. “Oh. The weapons…I’ve got a looooooad of arrowheads, a halberd, this mallet thing and a sword. I brought a little dagger with me incase I needed it.” She explained as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a rusty antique looking dagger.
“I found it actually at an archaeological dig…my school went on a fieldtrip and they didn’t even see me swipe it. It’s roman!” She added with a giant grin. Haddie was sooooooooo in the wrong house right? She was so supposed to be a part of her gang of Gryffindork friends.
“You do? Oh…wait…I know that too from the feast” she added with a laugh and grinned at Haddie. “do I want to join? That’s like asking a mouse if it wants cheese!” Mel grinned and began following her toward the otherside of the bridge. “maybe…who knows – I wonder if we’ll find the Elder wand!?” Mel squealed out she had heard rumors that Harry Potter had destroyed it and that that would be sad. “it’s supposed to come with like…you cant be defeated if you have it? But only if it really is yours….everyone whose owned it has died except for Harry Potter” she shrugged. “well…he did die but he didn’t. Magic is weird.” She frowned and continued walking. “If we find a skeleton I’m so going to put it back together and maybe use it as a dress rack.” She added with a snort. Because morbid things were awesome.

Yes yes, Paul, we know.
He took a seat and stared out into the distance. "You feel all right then, Illa?" he asked in a concerned way. He waved his wand and let bubbles come out of his wand once more...floating outward...they looked so peaceful.
His smile.....looked so warm and kind. She wasn't used to seeing that in an adult very often. Had she had breakfast? " I suppose that I haven't. I don't feel very hungry right now. " She really didn't feel like eating anything at all, not with how she felt. Everyone needs food? He sounded like Henric, maybe it was a Hufflepuff thing. " I suppose. "
He sat beside her, not staring at her just by her, and there was something calming and vaguely familiar about it. Did she feel alright? Liquid started dropping from her eyes as he spoke. Why was that happening? She couldn't seem to mask her emotions like she was normally good at. Her expression was calm as ever, but her eyes betrayed her as tears rolled down her cheeks. Why?
She wanted to float away peacefully like the bubbles. What should she say to this man? What wouldn't be a lie and yet, not be all of the raw emotion that she felt inside? " I'll be alright. " Her voice was quiet and soft. She was trying to tell herself that as much as she was telling him. Eventually it would be okay. It had to be, right?
Melbourne just tipped her head at the girl and frowned slightly. “My parents were never like that…mum wasn’t the smartest,” she admitted with a little incredulous laugh. “When I was really little they used to walk around and even gave me a harness.” She frowned at that.

Haddie just listened to it all, awestruck. The dragons, the weapons, secret passages, Mel's eagerness to join in on the fun, all that history that sort of went over her head. She realized it after a second or two, and recovered. "You... are my new best friend." Sorry Rach.
While she did like aspects of Ravenclaw, namely the few people she was close with in the house, Haddie still didn't feel she belong there. And she certainly hadn't felt like she fit anywhere half as much as she did right now, on the bridge with Mel. Maybe she could appeal to the headmistress and get a resort?
"Okay, first, can we visit the dragon reserve sometime? I've never seen a dragon!" Up until recently she hadn't known they really existed. She was admiring the roman dagger with a small amount of envy. "All my schools ever did was take us to museums and one time to the beach, but we weren't allowed to play or go swimming because we were there to learn." She rolled her eyes, and then grinned. "You have the awesome roman dagger, so dibs on the elder wand! Man, I really need to read Hogwarts, a history." Except half the reason she wasn't reading it now was because she didn't want to give Davie the satisfaction.
And of course it went without saying they were going to find and use that secret passage. That was a given.
Haddie skipped along to the end of the bridge, eager and excited. "Okay, we'll turn the skeletons you find into coat racks. And the ones I find we're going to figure out how to enchant them to dance throughout the castle. Maybe while singing 'Dem Bone'." She grinned and peered down the side of valley. It was steep. Sort of too steep to climb down. "Well, there goes that... for now at least. When we learn new spells, or can bring brooms to school, then we can get down there. Maybe there are skeletons other places though?" She was genuinely asking. Melon had read Hogwarts, a history, while Haddie had not, so she'd know better than Haddie would.
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.
Halloween Halloween today was Halloween. Which meant Tricks and Treats and Fun and Sugar and a lot more Sugar. No one to keep him from not having all the Candy he could possibly want. So long as Uncle Julien doesn't jump out of no where and forbid any or all of his rapid candy consumption.
He knew that all the Candy was indoors, inside the Castle possibly with all the Professors. They had to have Candy yes? It was Halloween and there a bunch kids his age who clearly would still trick or treat. Ross told him that he went Trick or Treating up until he was at least 15 so he was still cool.
That didn't explain why he was outside of course. Well, Torrance wanted to observe and see just how many others would dress up. He saw an Ugly Hag...oh wait....
Anyways, it was getting close to dusk and that's always the best time to start tricking and treating himself to candy. So off he went back to the Castle.

About 30 minutes ago...in an Astronomy Tower not so far away...
Airey had suited up for the day and was taking P3BB3L3S out on her daily walk around the grounds. The force was not strong with him by any stretch of the imagination, although he rather thought he could make a semi decent Jedi Knight since thought he had a pretty good grasp on how emotions could effect the mind (save for teenage angst, but he didn't think Jedi really understood that either. Look how Anakin and turned out!).
He had started out late today - but it HAD taken a bit of time perfecting the beard since the man was physically incapable of growing facial hair, even through magical means - but the timing couldn't have been more perfect as far as he was concerned.
Dusk was arguably his favorite time of day and seeing the setting colors reflected upon the Black Lake's surface as the stars began to dot the sky was perhaps the most sentimental the man would get on a daily basis. Put first, he needed to admire the view from the bridge before heading down to the lake proper and making his usual loop.
Also? His boots were a little uncomfortable so his feet needed a break.

When Haddie said that Mel just grinned. “Really?” That was the first time anyone other than Sam or Ace had called her a best friend! THIS WAS A SPECIAL DAY WASN’T IT? She’d have to tell India and Mika all about it…well, and Thunder and Finn and all of her siblings and whatever Thunder was really…Uncle? Cousin? Fruncle?
“I was almost a Ravenclaw,” Mel told Haddie as she stood there, “the hat couldn’t decide and then was all…okay you’re too reckless lets go with Gryffindor” sure she was paraphrasing but it was what it seemed like the hat had said.
“I…well, I don’t know if I’d be allowed to go…but we could probably try and convince Professor Draper to bring the class there” she said her face reddening as she said his name. “He has such a nice face…I want to set him up with my cousin or my sister” she added with a grin. “Oh please of course you’d get the wand” she beamed at her. “I didn’t mean to read it the people in my compartment ate too much sugar and then crashed and I had my sister’s book.” She explained with a face. “that sounds even more awesome…” Mel grinned at the idea of the dancing skeletons. “oh that’s not fun…maaaaybe we could try the paths? Who knows…we may find a path that leads down there? Or maybe there’s a spell we can use to conjure the skeletons?” She asked excitedly.
“We could go to the library and do research and find everything and anything we need to charm the skeletons…and if we cant find any maybe we could do something fun like bring skeletons with us after Christmas break?” She offered with a giant grin…”or the ghosts might know of some skeletons.” She added as an after thought.

Jessie felt herself melting in his embrance. Raven kissed her. And it felt so good. She heard his lover mumbling his word before their lips met. No pressure nor being dominance.
Jessie knew that he`s still unsure to himself. He might need more time.
But she likes the way Raven treating her.The way he calls her nickname.
Jess
"i`ll try my best for you,Raven....Until you really accepting me.Just don`t take it as your burden.Let it flow" She parted their lips for a while
Jessie will never let him go.....

Reason: fixing my mistakes

Haddie looked incensed! Or she would have looked it if it wasn't clear how excited and happy she was, but she gave the expression a valiant effort none the less. "But I'm extremely reckless!" Melon and she were practically twins in their personalities. Haddie had been a hat stall at nearly 15 minutes for the hat to decide, and while she didn't remember how long the hat took deciding Melon's house, she'd said it took a long time deciding as well, and yet it put her in Gryffindor and Haddie in Ravenclaw. "Now I especially want to strangle that hat."
But there was no point dwelling on it. Okay... that thing with the professor was a bit odd, but it didn't bother her at all. She still didn't get it yet, what the other girls were seeing in the Professors. Sure they were good-lucking, but... she just didn't see it the same yet, she guessed. Oh, well. "And I bet you don't get offended when another kid hasn't read it or doesn't know any of the history, do you?" She shook her head. "Sorry, I just... that happened to me in my house... um, moving on." She'd dwelt on it a bit too much lately. No more dwelling.
"Okay, so, a big blanket yes on all of that." It all sounded too good. Even the research. Haddie always did enjoy learning new ways to cause trouble. "And we should also sneak into the forbidden forest! There has to be skeletons there! Which do you want to try first?" Haddie didn't care, they all sounded fun to her.

Melbourne just tipped her head as Haddie said she was extremely reckless. “Really? What have you done before?” Because that was an important question.
“awww don’t strangle it…it probably thought we’d be dangerous if we were in the same house” she added with a laugh. Because thinking talking hats obviously had opinions on people. Obviously.
Melbourne just grinned…”I like him cause he likes animals” she added because obviously that was important, “and…you know maybe my sister would back off a bit if she had a boyfriend?” She snorted because yes she was totally being a cunning little snakelet instead of a lion!girl right now. “who would get offended by that?” Melbourne asked raising an eyebrow. “what happened? Some idiot get all what you’re a ravenclaw how could you not enjoy reading this stuffy old book at you?” She asked intrigued really by the situation…”I just took my former Ravenclaw sister’s textbooks and brought them with me…they thought I bought books I just bought candy, other supplies and extendable ears” she explained with a smirk.
“the forbidden forest?” Melbourne gasped and looked at Haddie for a bit, “I…did…you didn’t hear did you? There are acromantulas in there.” Melbourne whimpered because spiders. “Like…man-eating-building-tall-spiders.” She frowned nope. Never. “a few terms ago they abducted people…and tried to eat them” she added the last bit with a wince.

What had she done? Wow... "Um, well, got caught trying to sneak into the Forbidden Forest. I visited the Hag alone, which was a mistake 'cuz she wanted to eat me. I escaped by shooting cleaning spells at her. Um, I almost got banned from Scribbulus, probably. I held an entire shelf of ink hostage so the clerk would release my friend..." She shrugged. "Exploring the abandoned mall was cool, it was kinda falling apart at places..." She assumed Mel meant what reckless things has she done. Those kinda stood out as the big ones, but there were also way too many little things to mention. She'd be surprised if it wasn't the same with Mel. "Really though, isn't being reckless just a mindset? You know, acting before thinking. Mom always points out that if there's a choice between doing the smart thing or the stupid thing, I always go with the stupid thing." It wasn't meant to be a source of pride whe she said it, but Haddie took it as one anyway. "What about you?" As long as they were comparing notes, she was interested.
"That's pretty much exactly how it happened, only it was a Ravenclaw boy. And he got offended, like really offended because as a muggle-born witch, I didn't know any of the history he was talking about." She rolled her eyes dramatically. "Only in Ravenclaw, I guess."
Haddie couldn't help but smirk a little at Melon's reaction. "No, actually I've been told that several times. I just really want to go explore it though. I mean, it has Forbidden in the name!" Did this make her the reckless one of the two? "Okay, so how about we learn some offensive and defensive spells, and then go explore it?" Because Haddie was sure they'd find skeletons in there now. But, actually knowing how to fight off giant spiders would probably be a good idea first. "And then we can also use those spells on the Hag!" She grinned at the thought. "So, I guess we can check out the paths you mentioned, see if there's a way down?" Haddie was so not ready to stop hanging out with the Gryffindor.
