The Weasley Swamp
|
Sarah/Kat! Dante liked coming to the swamp. This is where he got a his favor from the famous Zander Adair. Which while it was completely unexpected. The result of it was sooo worth it. Anyway, he liked coming here and see if anyone was stuck or if there was another chance of him getting favors. He still have one from that ravenclaw girl. Think she is a second year now. Nope he wont forget that. Still did not know what to use it for. But he still had years. So he was good. Dante moved along the swamps edge looking in it for wands or peoples belongings. You never know what people drop in here Could be some important stuff. But mostly trash. |
Quote:
Kat walked along the edge of the swamp. No way was she going to fall into that. It looked gross. It was hard to tell what kind of trash was in there. She stopped seeing something interesting she edged closer to the edge to get a better look at what she was looking at. She edged closer and closer until she slipped right into the swamp. Ewww gross. "Help! Someone help me the swamp monster is going to eat me. HELP! Arms flailing and seer panic on her face. That hag had told her she'd meet her doom near the forest. Not in this swamp. "Help!" |
Quote:
Oh wait it was the love potion girl. Not like it changed anything. He was still going to ask for a favor unless she wanted to get out of the swamp herself. "Seems like you can use some help before the swamp monster gets you" Dante asked grinning. It was pretty amusing whenever someone or their wand ended up in the swamp. He was of course not just going to pull her out, nope time to bargain. |
Quote:
Oh look, it was the boy from Weasley joke shop. She still had the love potion and not gotten to use it on her brothers yet. She should do it soon. Thanks for the reminder, dude. Now get her unstuck. "Did I say swamp monster?" With a small chuckle. She was trying to act cool now around the older boy. "Can you get me out of here?" She looked up at him. He wouldn't leave a nice little first year hufflepuff in a dirty, yucky swamp, right? Well he was a boy and a Slytherin to be honest Kat wasn't sure of she could trust Slytherin boys other than Phillip and Cornelius. That could be because they was her brother and her friend. |
Quote:
"I can but it will cost you. I hardly ever do things for free." Dante said coming close enough to her to talk but not close enough for her to grab him. Can't be too careful. It was not entirely true what he said. Since if they were his friends or someone he liked he would help. Tease first then help. Just ask Hugo. He would say that is true. Time is ticking girl. What is your answer. |
Quote:
Blinking. What? Did she have any money on her? She felt her pockets, nope not a single sickle or knut to be found. "But..... I don't have an money on me." She just wanted to get out of here. She bit her bottom lip nervously. Wiggling around and trying to lift her legs up out of the swampy water. But it was no use. Ugh. |
Quote:
"Well money is not the only thing i take. You can owe me a favor" And if she said no. Well Dante was getting pretty hungry. |
The sound of high-pitched giggles rang throughout the corridor. Hehehehe. The silly girl had fallen into the swamp! More giggles echoed and bounced off the walls. Before anyone could spot her, the doll disappeared around the corner clapping and giggling… Then gone. |

Quote:
A favor? After that giggling, she would do anything to get out of the swamp. "Yes. Yes. A favor. I'll do anything, just get me out of here." So she could A) find out what that giggling was and/or B) go hide from whatever was making that noise. |
Quote:
"Alright we have a deal" Dante pulled her out of the swamp easily. See was not that hard. "And you heard that creepy giggling?" You know just to check again if he was not hearing things. |
Quote:
She nodded, yes they had a deal. It wasn't like she had signed her life away or anything. Right? Right? Oh no no no. He didn't look a devil. Oh no far from that. He pulled her out of the swamp. He pulled her out of the swamp. Her hero. He was [i[her[/i]. Did she hug him? Of course she did! She WAS a Hufflepuff. No shame. No regrets. He was her hero now. She beamed at him for a second before.... She was nodded again. "Yes. I heard it." Good she wasn't hearing things. She wasn't the only one to hear it either. So they wasn't crazy. "What was it?" |
Quote:
Wait did she really just hug him. What was going on. He did not save her life or anything. First years were weird. He did get a favor out if it so it was all good he thought. You know besides that creepy laugh that she said she heard also. So he was not going crazy. That was good and unsettling. "Sounded like a little girl giggling. Which is just creepy" He was no gryffindor. So he was not just going to investigate the noise. Could be many things. "Know anyone who likes to stalk people?" Serious question. |
Quote:
Yeah, she kind of couldn't help the hugging but she let go after only a few seconds. All was good she was out of the swamp now. And was planing on never going near it again. But now that creepy noise. The creepy noise, what was it? She was not going to take offense to that comment. Mostly because she wasn't a little girl. She nodded. "It was creepy, and the clapping was weird." Kat shrugged. "Not really. That's usually me. I like to listen in on things. Why are you asking?" Extendable ears were the best thing ever. She liked evesdropping on things. |
Quote:
"I was just wondering if you have seen anything more creepy in the castle than usual. But now i remember you are a first year. So now that question would not matter" Because really a first would think anything out of the ordinary around here was creepy. |
Arithmancy class post 7 - Team Besties! And there it was. Wait, was it floating? "That's kinda cool." Haddie was gonna miss this place. What other school had scavenger hunts and talking paintings and swamps, purposely left, in the school's hallways, among everything else. She took a moment to appreciate this. The floating parchment, the swamp, this entire school and the castle it was in. It really was amazing. "So back to class, I guess." That's what the note said at least. |
Arithmancy Lesson 1- Post 7 #TeamBesties Rachel covered her nose as the best friends duo approached the Weasley Swamp. She always avoided this place if she could. It smelt horrible and it looked disgusting. Today was no different. She averted her eyes from the bubbling contents of the swamp and sincerely wished she could avert her olfactory sense as well. The Eagle scanned the surroundings but it was Haddie who founds the parchment hovering in the center of the swamp. She was relieved. They could get out of here! She nodded, hand still over her nose and turned her heels. Back to class the girls would go. |
Ariadne! Jace wasted no time to traverse the whole of the first floor hallways, searching every inch of the wall for a parchment. There is no way they could be wrong this time. Ariadne's computation was correct, and that they followed the Professor's rules beforehand...so it's a matter of keeping his eyes peeled for any piece of paper. "There's nothing here, Ariadne...the hall is pretty empty." he said in a hushed tone, not wanting to disturb the on-going lectures inside the Muggle Studies Classroom and History of Magic. He didn't want to deal with the very kind Headmistress right now, really. Without warning, his stomach grumbled in protest making him stop, and turned slowly towards Ariadne. "Sorry about that." he said as his hand tried to tamp down the remaining sounds his stomach made. They've been going up and down stairs for quite a while now, so it was just natural for the boy to exhaust some of his energy. "I should've taken a heavier meal this morn-- Ariadne look! Behind you! It's the clue!" Jace ran past his partner, and stopped at very edge of the swamp, wrinkling his nose. It didn't smell so good, really. With his parchment and quill ready to jot down a professor's name, Jace stood there...wondering if it's an instruction...or a trick. Closing his mouth, he turned around to face Ariadne and gave her a shrug. "I guess it's game over." he said putting his parchment and quill away in his pocket. Jace inclined his head toward her smiling, "I had fun Ariadne. Thank you." he said his cheeks turning pink. "Let's go?" |
Madge had scoured the first floor and had yet to find anything when she came upon a swamp. In the castle. Wizards were weird, she nodded to herself. She wondered if she'd get weird too, would her family still associate with her? Ah, there, floating in mid-air in the swamp. "To the classroom!" she said with fake enthusiasm. Was this really it? three names and this note? She sure hoped so! She penned in "the swamp" as her final note on her page. SPOILER!!: Madge's Notes Madge turned on her heel, she did NOT want swamp juice on her shiny black buckle shoes. Her shoes were the only thing she ever received new, so she always took care of them. |
Arithmancy class post 7 Quote:
The young lioness then followed Hady to the first floor. Why suddenly she thought it was located at the swamp? But well, why didn't they try it first? If there's nothing to be found there, they could find it again at the other place on the first floor... But let's see. Wandering around, Ava watched there was a piece of parchment levitated above the swamp. There's no Professor's name written on it. Just a sentence that told them to go to the classroom. "Guess that we've done in here now." So, let's go back to the classroom. Ah too bad, She thought that there were gonna be more clues. |
Arithmancy (Ava) SPOILER!!: Ava Walking all the way down to the first floor was tiring. Normally it wouldn't have been so bad but today it was up and down and back and forth. All this running around was not only tiring but confusing. FINALLY! They had reached the first floor and Hady went right to the Swamp. It was gross and horrible smelling. Wrinkling her nose in disgust the fifth year looked around for barely a minute before her eyes fell on the parchment fixed to the wall. They had found it...but wait, what? That was it? "So that's it, we just go back to the classroom now?," She questioned out loud casting a quick look to her partner. "I thought there would be more hints but I guess not." Back to the classroom then? |
Arithmancy class post 8 "So that's it, we just go back to the classroom now?," Apparently Ava wasn't the only one who seemed disappointed when the last clue was actually the instruction to go back to the class. Boo... "Yeah, I thought so too." She said to Hady. So now... Yeah, time to go back to the classroom. Maybe this meant that the class would be over soon. Yay. At least that was the thing that she loved from every class that she didn't really enjoy: when the Professor said that the classroom's over. "Let's go back to the class, shall we?" |
Arithmancy (Ava) SPOILER!!: Ava Hady scribbled down onto her parchment that the last hint was at the Swamp on the first floor and that it told them to return to the classroom. It was written there as plane as day. So all they could do is head back. "Yeah, seems like it." She agreed nodding her head. Time to return to the classroom and see if they had correctly found each clue. Turning on her heel she left the smelly old swamp behind and none to quickly to as it was making her feel ill standing there. |
Arithmancy post 7 Quote:
"Good idea. I bet she knows everything about the castle." And like all ghosts the Grey Lady could float through things. She might even be willing to float through the Tapestry to see what was on the other side if Kitty and Tia asked politely. They walked through the corridor and around the portraits before comin to the Weasley Swamp. Kitty had only been to the swamp twice before (both last year) - the first time she had stumbled upon it accidentally and the second time she had come to check for worms. "I think you're right about Tanner trolling us," said Kitty, pointing to the note floating above the swamp. "At least it wasn't hard to find." Now they could go back to class. |
Arithmancy :: Mel and Sabbath *leaves it to you guys if Accio worked or not* He figured why not check out the REAL first floor before he subject themselves on a wild goose chase on the lower floors? So Tenacius quickly scoped out the corridors and rooms here before he came upon the swamp. "I hope that parchment isnt in there and that we have to fish it out...." he mumbled to his team before he straightened himself up and added "Lets check the ground floor then, and maybe the dungeons." Oh but wait!-- There was something odd suspended in mid-air right in the middle of the bog. "Hey look that’s the parchment!" the lion cub pointed excitedly. "Wait what does it say?" It was so small and at that distance it was hard to read. He looked at his team and then at Sabbath and muttered "Maybe now that spell will work yeah?" He turned, took out his Alder wood and commanded that parchment "Accio!" |
