The Treehouse Since it's first discovery in the 2050s, the Treehouse has maintained it's presence throughout the years with upkeep and improvements thanks to the many Groundskeepers. A massive tree houses a wooden fort that sits high up in its branches. A rope ladder automatically descends down upon approach. Once inside you are greeted with a spacious place to lounge, much larger than the exterior leads on. |
VM me if you grab her! THE TREE HOUSE! The tree house. The Tree house.. OMG Alice was excited.. It was a legit tree house, as she climbed the ladder and into the structure, Diaval flying behind her and then landing on her shoulder. The Lioness felt like she could see the whole of The (Pridelands) Hogwarts Grounds. "SQUAWK!" Diaval made an awful noise and Alice turned to look at him. "Shhhhhhh, we need to make friends and that wont happen if you're being rude and loud everywhere... try it a little quieter." She said and then he made the same noise, just a little more quite. Alice grinned, the proud bird Mummy that she was. "Very good." She took a deep breath and wished Oliver was here. She already missed her brother. He was after all her best friend pretty much. But now was the time to make new friends and branch out. She wanted to make everyone proud of her.. But they probably already were.. She was Alice Lupin, First Year Gryffindor! Who wouldn't be proud. |
Bethany!! and hey Alice! This was it. Her second favorite place at the whole of Hogwarts. THE TREE HOUSE! Grabbing onto the rungs of the ladder she pulled herself up quickly and dropped down on her bottom up top. She was going to just have a seat here and wait for her friend... HER NEW FRIEND! WEEEEEE! And the squawking got her attention really quickly. Jerking her head back she looked around until she spotted Alice and her raven. COOOOOOL. Dora pulled her robes back and peered in the pocket of her shirt to smile at Cherry. YEP. She was still there and cozy, her little legs wiggling at Dora when she looked inside. "What if that bird tries to eat you, Cherry? I'll bring you out later, okay? " Uncle Spike had been sure to magically modify her pockets for the specific purpose of carrying Cherryy around. Hehehe. Turning her attention away she smiled at Alice. Giving a wave she put her legs over the edge of the platform, through the railings and kicked hER feet. Mhm. |
Esme! After having taken a detour to the playground first Hady finally found her way to one of her favorite spots. The Treehouse! The fifth year always enjoyed coming here no matter he way and today was no different even if she did have her cat following at her side. There was noway she was leaving him back in the dorm room where bad thins could happen to him. Drawing nearer to the ladder Hady knelt down and scooped Hagan up into her arms, fumbling with the latch on her bag until it clicked open. Once she got the latch undone the brunette carefully settled her cat inside the bag. "Alright Hagan just like when we lived in New York. Stay in there until we're in the tree." She gave the cat in question a pet on the head before climbing up the ladder and onto the balcony area. The second her feet touched floor she lowered her bag down and allowed the cat to scramble out. Laugoing quietly she found herself a quiet spot inside the treehouse and sat down on a beanbag chair, Hagan promptly leaping up into her lap. |

A house. In a tree. Sam stood at the base of it and stared at it for a good while. Where she lived there were very few trees that were good for climbing, not alone one's that could take a whole house. It was crazy, but also totally AWESOME. "Hey Dora!" she waved excitedly as she looked up at a squawking bird and instead saw her friend appear at one side. "I'm gonna head up!" She ran to the ladder and started climbing. This was awesome! |
Quote:
Sparkle safely in her pocket, Esme started the climb up. Looked like someone had beat her to it; she could hear laughter. Curious, she continued, pleased to see that it was Hady. It was good to see someone friendly though she supposed that most of the people here were nice enough. Some really weren't, but there were others that more than made up for that fact. "Hey!" she said with a smile before moving to pet the little kitty. "What's his name?" Esme realized that she had forgotten to ask on the train. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Content with just sitting there in a beanbag chair, her cat on her lap Hady released a small sigh. This is what she liked. Free time to just chill. No lessons. No homework or studying. Not a bunch of noisey first years running and screaming. Just her and her thoughts. That didn't last very long. She was pulled from her thoughts by voice and a very familiar girl kneeling down to pet her cat. Hady grinned at Esme. "Hey there! His names Hagan but I'm seriously considering changing his name to Attention Hog because that's exactly what he is." She was just joking of course but her cat really did love having everyone petting or cuddling him. |
Quote:
It took Esme a moment to realize that Hady had probably come here for some peace and quiet. Oops. Now she felt a little bad. At least she didn't seem upset about being disturbed and that was a good thing. Otherwise she would have felt worse. Returning the smile, she took a seat on one of the cushions. "Hello, Hagan." she said giggling as she petted him. "Oh, cats seem to be attention hogs. I don't have a cat, but I have a dog. Her name is Lucy." |
natethegreat/Jay After what seemed like ages the first year was finally able to make his way down to the grounds. He liked talking to new people and some adults were cool to talk to but Brady just wanted a quite or almost quite place to play his guitar. |
Quote:
Waiting for her to get all the way up, Dora pulled some chocolate frogs and other various goodies from her trusty bag and lay them out. Yep. They were gonna eat all of the sweeties and laugh and tall and YAY!!! |
SPOILER!!: Esme Hady may have been hoping for some alone time and silence but the company from on Miss Esme was very nice. This was one of the younger girls she didn't at all mind disturbing her peace and quiet. The girl was always so friendly and not at all incredibly loud. Watching as Hagan immediantly shifted himself towards Esme's hand, Hady laughed quietly. "That's very true but Hagan here is like the King of cuddles. He's been known to push himself between people and paw at them until he gets the attention he so craves." It was true. He had even laid himself on top of her younger cousins head once because the boy wasn't petting him. A dog though! Lucky her! "I've always wanted a dog but we weren't able to have one for a long time and well now I'm always away here so it wouldn't entirely be fair." She still wanted one though. |
Quote:
A house in a tree, bigger on the inside than the outside. Was that even possible? It must be, given she she standing in it. She took another moment to absorb it all, before going to find her friend. Plopping down beside the Gryffindor, Sam too poked her feet through the railings and let her legs swing loosely in the breeze. "You choos' th'best places ta 'ang out," she said with a grin. "Dis s'awesome." |
Quote:
Too bad that Hady never really got to experience having a dog. "Well, I'm sure you can once you're graduated!" It was a good idea to be positive when it came to stuff like that. Esme scratched behind Hagan's ear. "Cuddle King," she said sweetly. "Me and my sister own her together, and my parents look after her when we're at school." But when they were home she was THEIRS. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Giggling was always a good thing. Especially when fully animals were present. "I think he does too," Hady laughed as Hagan scrambled off of her lap and into the floor promptly flopping down on the younger girls feet. "Oh, you might not want to tell him that, he'll never leave you alone!" That was true. Just because she didn't have a dog now didn't mean she couldn't get one. Maybe even during the holiday she'd be able to or sonething. "True. I'll have to see where I end up when I graduate." She didn't want to have a dog if she want sure where she would be or what she would be doing. The cat in question appeared to be enjoying his petting a loud purr coming from him in response. "That'd cool. I do have a snake back home." Once she missed a lot. |

Jay had everything she needed to go exploring! She had a paper and a sketchbook, so that way she could create a map of the giant place, and also so she could just make a list of every secret there was to this absolutely charming place! Also her wand was another necessity, just in case the girl ran into any trouble. Even though, you know, even if she DID run into trouble she wouldn't be able to do anything. What? Did you expect a first year muggleborn student to know good spells when she basically just arrived at the school. In her bag was also binoculars for spying and other stuff like that. Along with her stash of candy. Because candy. Jay would need energy since she was going to be out exploring all day long. Exploring: that was one of her most favorite things to do. Though the blue eyed firstie preferred to be playing a sport, but exploring was the next top thing on her list of fun things. Then she heard it; the sweet and joyous sound of guitar strumming. Following the beautiful noise, it appeared as if Jay had stumbled upon a treehouse. A top of which, was another student playing. Climbing up to the top, she snuck to a spot where she could lean on. After a few moments of awkwardly and silently watching, Jay spoke up "Nice playing." |
for Brian Chloe liked to watch people. Yes, it was weird. Yes, it was a little creepy. But she did, okay? Growing up she had liked watching the animals when traveling with her family, it was the only good part of her Dad's job, and now at Hogwarts it had kind of moved over into people. Mostly boys. They were crazy. And stupid. Oh my gosh. It was like they had nothing inbetween their ears. Really. With her legs tucked under herself she observed the lesser gender. |
Quote:
"He must REALLY like me." Shaking her head at the cat as he flopped down on the floor by her feet. "Well, alright then." She happily went about her duty of petting him. The little fluff ball seemed to have a heart of gold, and that was rather endearing. A bit of an attention hog though. She didn't see anything wrong with that. "Do you know what you want to do after Hogwarts?" It wasn't TOO soon to ask, since Hady was older. Some people figured it out pretty easily while others took ages to work out what they wanted to do. "Oh, what's your snake's name?" Esme...wasn't sure how she felt about reptiles. |
Quote:
Brady looked out into the distance as he played his guitar. His playing was perfection, Brady knew from an early again that he wanted to be perfect at playing music and here was playing music. Someday in the far off future he would be a rockstar and everyone, EVERYONE would be cheering his name. He was ready for that right now. The view here was amazing. It was nothing that he had ever seen. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Really? Really Hagan?! Hady laughed happily shaking her head at her own cat. She knew he liked people but come on! "He really does! And that's a good thing, he needs more friends." Everybody needed friends. "How's you little pet?" Ohhh, change of topic! This made the girl smile warmly at her younger friend. "I do," she nodded her head. "I want to be a Healer for magical creatures." Mhmm. A healer. Just not a regular common everyday healer. "How about you, do you have any ideas yet?" Just because Esme was younger didn't mean she didn't know what she wanted to do after graduation. "His name is Aime, I've had him since I was eight." |
ADVENTURE TIME that was what this was! Well, that was what every moment of every day should have been – right? Why not just jump head first into adventuring when she could? That was what Mel was doing right now she was debating Grinning like mad she quickly ran from one window to the next – she had to find where the best location for the telescope was…or maybe more than one was needed? This could need more people…or a whole team? “…how many telescopes would we need” she muttered to herself as she stood there scoping out the room. |
Quote:
With her book tucked under her arm, the little brunette wandered down the stairways and across the paths in the grounds. The view from the tower might have been unbeatable but Merlin was it a long walk down and an even more tiring walk back up. The rope ladder descended as she approached and the Ravenclaw climbed her way up and pulled herself in at the top. Once there she only noticed one other person there who looked around her age or maybe younger. She was seemingly talking to herself and Ruby considered just leaving her to her own devices. But the strangeness of her question intrigued her. “What do you need lots of telescopes for?” she asked. She knew that they all studied Astronomy here but she considered the treehouse a rather odd position to set them up and furthermore the girl was pondering over how many. Wouldn’t her view be obscured by the branches? “Are you starting an Astronomy club?” She looked a little young for that and shouldn’t that have been Professor Flamsteed’s responsibility anyway? Hmm.. |
Quote:
”I need to be more careful” Mel muttered under her breath still grinning wildly at the girl. “Would you want to join an astronomy club…? For me, I’d want it to be more about the mythology related to astronomy” yep. She was going to sell it. Wait…she didn’t know any astronomy yet. |
Quote:
The brunette looked puzzled as the girl continued to talk to herself only this time it was under her breath. She couldn’t help but feel like it was something derogatory about her and she suddenly felt self-conscious. “Oh I..” she stuttered as she was put on the spot. “Maybe. I’d definitely think about it.” She did enjoy the subject after all. “But don’t you think you should ask the Professor first?” He could help a lot more than the second-year could after all. Ruby was still dubious as to whether that was the girls true motives for needing telescopes but she kept quiet about it on the premise of wanting to make friends at the school. |

Let's see the old bat try and get her now! Talking about careers was pretty interesting even though she wasn't sure what she wanted to do yet. Esme supposed that she would work it out soon enough; she had loads of time before she graduated. "Oh, that's really interesting. Animals definitely need healers as much as people do. Are you really good at reading creatures then?" Since they couldn't exactly talk, she thought that was a valid question. "I'm not sure what I want to do," she admitted. "I don't think I really excel at anything other than Divination." Aime was a nice name. "So he's a nice snake then? What kind is he?" She supposed he must be harmless since Hady got him when she was eight. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Hady smiled nodding her head. "I'm sure he'd like you being his friend very much." Chances were Hagan would be all over the girl every time he saw her now. Hope she really didn't mind it. Hearing the small squeak Hady's eyes fixed on the kids pocket. So she kept her pet in her pocket. Nice idea! Only Hagan was to big for that but he did fit inside her bag so that worked just as well for them. "Good idea! Nope she won't be getting her hands on either of them!" Ha! Old HagLady. "They do! I've always liked animals and I enjoy helping others so it just made sense for me." If it was something she really liked it was a good idea to stick with it. Reading creatures though wasn't all that easy. "Sometimes. It's not always as easy as it looks." Truth was it took a lot of work! She would get the job done though. All in good time. "That's alright you still have many years before you to decide." No rush really. "He is, yes. Aime is a Python so he's rather large now and kind of heavy but he's still incredibly sweet." Yes, yes she knew he could be dangerous also. |
Quote:
Wanting to work with animals was definitely understandable because a lot of them were absolutely lovely. "I like animals too! Well, most of them." Esme definitely wasn't a fan of insects and rodents. She was on the fence about reptiles. As Hady spoke, she watched Hagan's face. "Can you ever read your cat?" She was curious because she had never exactly had the gift. Hers was more in musicality. "I love Divination, but I'm not sure if I want to be a Professor," she admitted. Maybe that was something else she could discuss with Professor Cassie. Oh. A python. She...wasn't sure how she felt about that. "He wouldn't squeeze me, would he?" They were that kind, right? Or were they the biters? Esme couldn't remember. |
Quote:
Shaking herself from those thoughts she leaned against Sam a little and laughed. "I really do love it up here. I feel like nothing bad can happen up here." The same words she had used last year? Yep. And they had rung true, yes? Yes! Nothing bad had happened while in the treehouse. "Have you found your favorite place yet? How is your common room? Do you like your dormmates? Ugh. I wish you were a Gryffindor." Yep. All of those things!! |
Quote:
Her favourite place? Sam laughed and shook her head. "Barely 'ad chance to look, 'av I?" There was just so much castle and outside space to explore! "Me dorm's nice though. Very blue. 'n the ovver girls seem 'lright." They'd kinda been too tired to speak much after the happening of the feast; hopefully she'd get to know them better over the following nights. "A ton of cats in the tow-ah though. Fink Ollie doesn't like dat ta much." As for being a Gryffindor, Sam gave an apologetic look, as if it was her fault the hat put her in Ravenclaw. It wasn't like she particularly understood the decision either. "Sorreh, mate. But least we're on t'same floor?" That was better than nothing, yes? |
SPOILER!!: Esme Hagan purred contently simply enjoying the head rubbing and ear scratching. The big cuddle bug that he was, probably wouldn't even harm a fly. Well alright maybe he would but still. Hady laughed. "I'm sure he won't mind. Maybe he'd even be a friend to Sparkle as well?" Did cats and those puff things get along? "That would be what she'd get if she bothered him. No ones going to take our pets away." "It's always been on my mind. I used to try to help everything when I was younger..even a small mouse once that I found out in our garden. Helping others means more to me then even my dancing or music." Yeah it's true. Her dancing and music was close to her heart but animals even topped that. "Usually but I think that's more because I'm so used to him. He's pretty easy to read really too." Mostly he wanted lots of petting and cuddles. "Maybe there's something else you can do with Divintation then?" "Oh gosh no! He wouldn't harm anyone. Hagan even lays with him sometimes!" See, Esme nothing to be afraid of. |
Quote:
Hady really was a soft heart. "Has anyone ever told you that you would fit in well as a Hufflepuff?" Esme could see it in her, just as she had seen it in Teddy - though of course he was definitely a Ravenclaw more than anything else. "I love helping people too, though I am not really one to want help from others." The general exception was her sister, though she knew better than to refuse assistance during certain times. She just didn't care for it because she was a big girl and could take care of herself. "That's very true! I can sometimes read Lucy - that's the dog I share with my twin sister." It was easier to tell with a pet that you knew well. She wasn't sure how well she'd be able to do it with the creatures at school. Esme became thoughtful. "Maybe I could be a psychic." Honestly she had no idea. At least the snake was safe. She gave a sigh of relief. "In that case, I think I would be okay with him." If he didn't hurt a cat she'd be okay, right? |
Ava was bored, like really bored. She didn't have anything to do for now, and she was too lazy to practice for gobstones. She decided to go out from her common room and take a walk around. Clearly staying inside the castle or the common room wasn't her cup of tea. Sometimes she wondered why her twin brother really preferred to stay inside with his book and some drinks. She believed that all of the spots around the grounds were cool, but her favorite was the treehouse. She loves climbing very much and wasn't afraid of height, thank you very much. She climbed the treehouse until the top and stood up, pretending that she was like on the top of the world. WOOT!!! |
SPOILER!!: Esme "Hagan likes most animals honestly he's very...friendly?" Was that even the right word for this? Most cats didn't like birds or snakes or animals such as those but Hagan...well he was different. It was like the fluff ball knew that these creatures were pets or something and shouldn't be harmed. With the Pygmy Puff being set on the floor Hady kept a close watch on her cat. The calico hardly moved or seemed to even care about the other pet. After a few minutes however he flopped over and raised a paw to pat at Sparkles. Not to harm her but more as if to test her? (No claws of course! Lol) A Hufflepuff? Her? Well yes and no. Not in so much words. The Sorting Hat had told her that she'd fit in any of the houses really due to how she was with so many different things. Loyalty, kindness, love of knowledge. None were right for her except Slytherin however, it's where her heart was. "Not exactly but I know many people think that." The need to help but not receive it was one Hady also knew well. "There's a lot of us like that. Helping others but wanting to be able to achieve tasks ourselves. It's strange but very much a thing I go through as well." Eep! Another kid with a twin. "Twin?" Why did it seem like everyone was either a twin or triplet? The Slytherin smile nodding her head. "And if you weren't it's not a big deal." Nothing would happen just because she didn't like the snake. |
Quote:
"I can take you around and show you things if you like. All of my favorite places anyway. We can help find your favorite place." And who was Ollie? And why did that make her feel a little jealous? Hmmm. Interesting. Dora kept her face ubreadable as she gave a small laugh. "Why so many cats?" "Yeah at least we're close by." But still... it kind of bummed Dora out. Like a lot, really. But she kept it upbeat and slipped her arm through Sam's. "We can meet in the corridor and hang out... if you like." |
Quote:
Sam nodded and grinned. "I'd like dat. Fanks." It'd take a lot to beat the tree house though. As for the cats, Sam chuckled. "Don't ask me. Comm'n room is o'er run wiff them though. Makes Ollie all jumpy. No idea why, he's friends wiff the strays at 'ome." Ollie - Oliver - being her rat, of course. She'd have to introduce them soon. "We bet'r," confirmed Sam, as she hugged her friend closer. "We can 'ang out wiff 'ot choc'lit before bed." Amongst other things. |
Quote:
No one had told her that she would fit in with Hufflepuff? Well, there was a first time for everything! "I'm like that too! I'm not what you would call AMBITIOUS, but I like to be independent. The only person I am okay with asking for help is my sister." The whole identical twin/best friend thing. "Oh, yes. We are identical though she's a little bit taller and we don't have the same fashion sense." So really it wouldn't be hard to tell them apart. "Well, I'm sure he's lovely. I'm just not sure how I feel about reptiles," Esme admitted. Nothing wrong with being truthful. He DID seem like a nice snake though. |
SPOILER!!: Fluffball playmates! Her cat might not be the largest of cats or very mean but that didn't mean he wasn't still just that. A cat. Sharp claws, teeth and all that other kitty cat stuff. Which meant that even though Hady knew her cat wouldn't harm Sparkle didn't mean she wouldn't be watching their interaction. Closely. Eyes on both pets and her friend as well it was clear that Sparkle wasn't at all intimidated by her fluffy friend. And the same appeared to be so as Hagan once more reached out his paw and lightly bopped the puff on her head. "It would appear so." Keeping quiet and listening as the younger girl spoke of herself and her twin sister. "There's nothing wrong with that. It's all about giving it your best but knowing when to be able to step back and admit to needing some assistance when you need it." Easier said then done usually. This got an understanding nod from her. "Nothing wrong with that. Lots of people aren't fond of snakes or any reptile for that matter." |
Quote:
SHE could have been a slytherin and everyone knew it…really, the entire great hall probably heard the little discussion on what house she should have been in. “I live on the seventh floor too,” Mel grinned over to her. “I just feel bad for the people who have to walk so far, and from this area we can also keep an eye on the…uh…divinations Professor” she added the last bit after a moment of hesitation. “I went into her tent the other day and…her soup, she said it was elf soup” she added, “I just hope it wasn’t house elf soup” she wanted the house elves to be safe. Yes. Yes she did. “Thank you, I try to be sensible whenever I can…” she nodded it was the truth but wasn’t the general gist that it was smart to have both sense and sensibility? “Oh its okay if you don’t want to,” she nodded. “Oh I wanted to find out how many we needed first besides…maybe I can find a way to make the money? I could even sell things to people or make potions for people and sell them…though I don’t know if potions is my top skill yet.” She admitted and shrugged her shoulders. Ruby seemed alright. Really she was excited by the idea of keeping an eye on the hag and her creepy smelly tent and making friends and keeping them…and making sure none of her friends were eaten by the suspicious lady. |
free posts never work anymore but I insist xD Genny strolled out of the castle, away from all the books and confining walls to open space where no one would hear you if you scream. She rolled her feet down the small hill leading to the Lake. That was until her eyes caught the giant treehouse. It's been months since she'd been here, but Genny still missed her own treehouse dearly. She wrote to her dad every week telling him how to take good care of it. He insisted on joking about pirates, Genny would roll her eyes and go along with it just to please him. She wasn't that young, she knew pirates were only at sea... looking for Peter Pan. Reaching the bottom of the treehouse, she looked up as the rope ladder fell down on her head. "Ow!" on her HEAD. |
*grabs* Quote:
She noticed a young girl was standing down there, got hit by the ladder on her head, ouch. She looked familiar though.... Wait, wasn't she the first year Gryffindor? What's her name again? Ava was sure that it's something with G... Genny! Yeah, that's her name. "Hey!!" She called her out. "You okay there?" |
Quote:
It was so good to be here. Esme stretched out her legs as Hady spoke. "That is very true. I think I need to work on the stepping back part a little though." Oh well. She was still young and she might get better about it over time. All she knew right now was that she wasn't okay with help besides from her sister and her parents too, she supposed. "Do you like reptiles? Or just snakes?" she asked curiously as she resumed giving Hagan ear scratches. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Anyone watching these two, and no not Esme and Hady but their pets would've been laughing. Cause really a cat and a puff ball were an odd thing. Cute but strange really. "I think so," Hady agreed laughing quietly. Hagan didn't seem to mind at all his tail flicking about on the floor near Sparkle. If anything the cat was seriously enjoying all this attention. "It's much easier said then done Esme. Every term I tell myself I won't do as much, I'll give myself an easy year to just study. Then I find in only a few short weeks that I've taken on even more then the previous year. It's how I work." It was good but at the same time bad for her. Most days the girl hadn't a clue how she managed it all. Every lesson she was taking, patronus lessons with Yoongi, dance lessons with Mason, time with Frankie, time with all her other friends, animagi training, dancing and teaching herself the guitar and drums. It was a LOT. Hady pulled her attention back onto the topic of snakes and smiles. "All of them. I only have a snake though. Really I adore all creatures large and small except for spiders (all spiders)." Anything else she could handle. |
Quote:
Knowing that she wasn't the only person who could have trouble stepping back made her feel a little better. "I feel like that sometimes too because I like to be independent. Certain things I like going to my family for, but on the most part I like to do things by myself." Juno was usually the exception. Hady loved all animals besides spiders. She really WAS meant for that kind of profession. "Spiders are gross." Esme made a face. "Fortunately they are never taken to a Healer that I know of." They were just one of the animals that she couldn't like. Spiders were ewwwwwww. |
SPOILER!!: Cutie! Hagan and Sparkle best odd species of friends. Totally amusing is what they both were and Hady didn't mind laughing about the cuteness of it. A camera would've been a wonderful thing to have right now. Why had she stopped carrying hers around? She really couldn't remember. "Oh! I have a camera only it's up in my dorm room. We can always set up a playdate for them or something and I can bring it then." Their pets could play and they could hangout or whatever. Win, win situation there. Laughing quietly Hady nodded. "I have no trouble at all studying something for weeks or even months at a time before I consider asking anyone to assistance me with it. It took me over a year before I asked Adi and Lux how they managed to cast their patronus'" The exception here though might just be Frankie. It wasn't that the spiders grossed her out. It was that they could EAT her! "I really hope not because I'd rather not have to deal with one but given the profession if I had no choice in the matter then I'd do what I had to do." Lets just hope she never had to deal with that. |
Quote:
It was a win win situation. The laughter was infectious, and Esme found herself joining in. "Wow, you're like me because I can go for ages without asking for help - unless I feel in danger." She was not a fighter, so her go to response was to call for her family. Her father, mother, and sister were all tough while she was...not. "Oh, that's true. I hope it never happens." Esme smiled. "Maybe one day you can treat a Unicorn!" Okay, probably not...but it was still nice to dream and they were SO much better than spiders. They were the most beautiful and majestic creature on earth. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Summon one. Good idea. "Do you know how to?," Hady asked turning to the younger girl. Chances were she probably didn't but now was as best time to learn as any. Hady surprisingly had never really used the charm herself. She should probably start as it would be easier then going all the way to her dorm to get her camera. The agreement of a playdate for their pets made her smile. "Awesome!" It seemed so. Both girls had a bit in common already and this only pleased the snake all the more. Having things in common made for a nice friendship. "Well if you ever feel in danger then you should call for help. There's always strength in numbers." Growing up an only child though she was used to taking care of herself. The mention of treating a unicorn made Hady grin her mind shifting to her friend AJ and the girls love for the magical creature. "Now that would be epic! My friend Adi already told me that someday he'll let me treat his Hippogriffs so that's something I really look forward to doing." |

The rope swaaaayed dangerously to the left the right from the exciting and uncalculated movements of Genny but she was up on the treehouse all in one piece in no time. She spun around a few times before she figured out where Ava was sitting and headed that way. |

"Well, my dad is an Auror so he's put many dark wizards in Azkaban." She was proud of her dad and he would be someone that she would call if she needed protecting. Her mom and sister were also tough, but they hadn't dealt with criminals - that she knew of at least - so they weren't on the same level as he was. Hippogriffs and Unicorns were both better than spiders, but then what wasn't? "I'm more of a Unicorn person, but Hippogriffs are nice too. I'm not crazy about flying on them," she admitted. It wasn't the height thing since that didn't scare her. It was more in the fact that they weren't particularly comfortable. Esme would rather fly on a broomstick in all honesty. |
SPOILER!!: Esme All the cameras? Now that was something Hady had never even considered to happen. Should all the cameras come flying at her it would surely hurt and cause some type of injury however it didn't work like that. At least not when she did it. "From what I know just the one would come...whether it be mine or yours or just one that's for student use I'm not sure. I wonder now how that even works..." Curious really. "Tons of opportunities for photos!" Hagan purred happily. Smiles lightly her mind wandering for a moment. "Frankie wants to be an Auror too. I'll admit I've considered it myself once when I was really young but it's just not for me." It wasn't her life 'passion' as people might say. Hady laughed quietly. "Oh? We've flew on Hippogriffs during CoMC and ridden on Unicorns too. We also turned rocks into Dragons which we got to fly on also." Lessons were awesome here! |

"No, I didn't bake it." Ava said sheepishly. "I'm not that good in baking, just got them from the house elves in the kitchen. They really baked so much good delicacies." Yeah, she didn't lie. The only thing that she made by herself was the canary cream frosting. It's not that harmful though, just make the victim turned into canary for two minutes. |
*leaves for Colt and flies away on rainbow unicorn * Spencer heard about the Treehouse from his brothers, from the rumors it was a pretty cool place to be and very popular place at Hogwarts, he decided to take his brothers words and go check it out. 'If they're pulling my leg, I'm going to kill them! 'Spencer thought to himself. It wasn't the first time his brothers sent him to a place he there was nothing or no one there, afterwards they laughed at him for days about it, which annoyed him. Walking at round, he spotted the Treehouse, so his brothers wasn't lying to him for once that was a shocker. They were being oddly nice to him lately, he didn't know why, but he was going to find out. Spencer walked towards the Treehouse and took the rope ladder before he climbed up, once up he looked at the place and gasped. Wow...this place was so cool, he could see himself spending alot of time up here, just drawing and maybe studying. Spencer looked out, the few was pretty nice, be interesting enough to draw and sketch. Spencer sat down and took his sketch pad out finishing the drawing that he did of his owl Stella, just a couple of shadings here and there he'll be done with it, but shading took time and had to he done right. |

Colt decided to take a walk down to the tree house. He hadn't been here in a while and this was always a good place to chill out. As he walked towards it he saw the famous rope ladder. He grinned and began to climb up. He never had any issues being a fellow tree climber and all. As he got up to the highest point in the tree house, he saw a dude was inside shading a picture. Hmm wonder what it could be? He swung his legs around and climbed through the window. "Hey dude." he greeted him with. Why did he look so familiar. "Have we met before?" Man why couldn't be remember. |

"Yeah I remember you Spencer." He tried to play it cool but he needed a reminder of his name. "Oh nothing man, I just got into detention for throwing food in that food fight a while ago but since then I have been good and going to classes. I promised my mum I would be on my behavior or else my dad would have my butt." Why was he venting to this kid? Well he was a first year who was he gonna tell? Not really anyone he knew that is for sure. That sketchbook didn't go unnoticed. "So you draw man?" he nodded towards his book. |

“I would offer my help but I’m not particularly advanced at potions yet..” she replied. Nor could she think of what type of potions to make and sell. And once again it was something that could get her into trouble. What if it was against the rules? “But I think if you asked around people would join. Maybe the older children could help you set it up?” The prefects perhaps? She’d ask Tabby but her sister wasn’t that much older than her and would probably be more interested in the spying. “Can I have a look through the telescope?” she asked softly. She wanted to see what all this fuss was truly about. |
Strange was probably a nice way to describe Mel…practically nutters was probably fitting as well. “That’s why we have it as an astronomy club” she nodded, and gave Ruby a small smile. “yeah I have a feeling it might have been the house elves…and I’ve heard she threatened to eat students before” Mel shuddered a bit. “I mean…I eat meat sometimes but never elves…mainly mundane meat things like chicken or cow meats” she shrugged not that she ate much meat it was usually just for the protein aspect of it all. “well anything works…we could probably use the library and find and practice spells and sell potion ingredients to people” she grinned as she looked around the room a bit. “I don’t think it’d be a big deal I know there are people that sell things on campus all the time…my old baby sitter’s friend sold candy to people” she nodded and grinned at the idea. “I think he sold other things too but all I heard about was the candy” she admitted with a shrug. “I’m probably going to try and find out information from the slytherins…they seem like they’d know about the ways to navigate sellings thing on campus – I might just sell off some comic books actually” she admitted with a grin. When Ruby asked about the telescope she grinned. “Of course, I brought his one from home…it was Mika – er…my sister’s.” She admitted and set it up so that Ruby could look through it. |

Well that was a relief. Esme was pleased that she wouldn't have to worry about them being bombarded with cameras and ending up in the hospital ward. The less time she spent there, the better - and not just because the Healer was a strict grump. "Let's try it then!" she exclaimed as she began to rub under the cat's chin. "We can make this into a photo opportunity." Besides, it would give her more practice. Frankie? "Who's Frankie?" Was he her brother? Boyfriend? Best friend? Esme felt like she should know, but she really didn't think she was familiar with too many people despite the fact that she wasn't shy. Well, whoever this Frankie was, he wanted to do the same job as her father and that was rather cool. "I don't think I could do it either. I don't have a fighter in me, unlike my sister." Juno was definitely the tougher one. She laughed along with Hady. It was true that there had been a lot of interesting lessons. "I thought it was really neat to learn more about the Centaurs." It was definitely different having one as a teacher. Something that she had never thought would happen. Centaurs interested Esme because of their association with Divination. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Hagan purred contently very much enjoying all the attention and making no attempt to move away from either Esme of Sparkle. Hady laughed quietly nodding her head and pulling out her wand. Giving a firm point in the direction of the castle she very clearly spoke the known incantation and hoped for the best, "Accio camera!" Now they waited and if they got lucky it would work. Oops. The brunette had forgotten that not everyone knew everyone else. Herself included in this and she had been here since her first year. "Frankie's my boyfriend. He's also the Gryffindor prefect," she told her a small blush creeping into her cheeks still when she spoke about him. That might help the younger girl at least recall whom she was speaking about. It was hard not to know who the prefects were for each house. Aaww she wasn't a fighter. "Well neither am I really but I can defend myself if I ever needed to." Thanks to the dueling club and that DADA lesson. There was something she couldn't disagree with. Given everything that happened at the school the lessons were always interesting to say the least. "The Centaur lesson was fun. It would've been cool to be able to keep our bows and arrows though." Just a little souvenir for them to keep. |
Jace Mason had been amazed by Hogwarts since the moment she could see it from the little boat she had ridden across the water. It was beautiful and mysterious, and she couldn't wait to see what kind of mischief she could cook up while she was here. She had already seen most of the school, having taken to exploring it alone. But the Treehouse was something she hadn't seen up close yet, she had only seen the top of it from the view of the Wooden Bridge. But she stood before it now. It really was a pretty as she would have imagined. It looked more like a big wooden fort than an actual treehouse, but it was still really cool looking. Mason approached the tree and yelped in surprise as a rope ladder cascaded down. It wobbled for a little while before going still, like it was waiting for her to climb it. Mason took the ropes in her hands, placed her feet onto the lower rungs and began her ascend. The Treehouse was even better-looking inside than it was outside. Bean bag chair and even a little Muggle cooling-box. But the view was the thing that took Mason's breath away. "Wow. . . " |
Quote:
Jace sat in one of the comfy chairs, and silently flipped a page from his Charms book. He did look up, and took a peek when he heard someone's voice. The Ravenclaw tilted his head and knew she was a fellow first year. He'd seen her around few classes, but never got the chance to talk to her. He smiled at her, and greeted her a good morning, "Ohayo..." Hi, hello! |
Quote:
Frankie was her boyfriend. Interesting. Being the Gryffindor Prefect she wasn't sure if she had seen him around or not. "Oooh, Prefects are nice." Especially Henric. He was also the handsomest, but she was not going to voice that opinion. "I've never had a boyfriend before," she admitted while not feeling the least bit ashamed. She was only 13 and there was loads of time for that to happen. Hady's blushing was cute, however. "I need to learn how to defend myself better. That's what my sister is for!" Juno had learned a lot from their dad but Esme was more interested in tie-dyeing clothes. "Yeah, that would have been pretty cool! We could have done archery or something." With enough practice she probably would have become pretty good at it. Helped to stand still because aiming while moving made things a lot more difficult. |
SPOILER!!: Esme How long would it take for a camera from down in her dorm room which was in the dungeons take to reach them out here on the grounds up in the Tree House? Hady had no idea what-so-ever but hopefully it wouldn't take very long. Keeping her attention on the direction of the school was a good idea indeed as a low sound was heard coming towards them. Reaching out her free hand her camera sailed right into it. "Nice!" IF it was always this simple Hady would be using this spell much more often. Holding the camera up and looking through the small window she took a picture of Hagan and Sparkle. "When we get some really good ones when can animate them." That'll be fun. Prefects were nice. Especially Frankie. She smiled nodding her head. "There's no rush there, he's my first." See no worries. Not everyone had a boyfriend when they were young. Nothing wrong with waiting for the right guy. "It's nice having someone protect you but knowing you can take care of yourself is good too." Much more satisfying. "Now that would've been really fun." See they should've been allowed to keep their bows and such. |
Quote:
After what seemed like forever - but was actually mere moments - the object came into view before being snatched by Hady. "Awesome," she said as her friend took the picture. Maybe that meant she would be safe to summon objects in the future because that fear had niggled at the back of her head for a while and kept her from trying it out. "Do you know how to animate them?" she asked curiously. That was something she hadn't learned yet. Even though she hadn't been ashamed at the fact that she hadn't dated anyone yet, it was still nice to hear someone else agree. Esme nodded. "There are lots of nice boys here, I am sure I will find one to date at some point." Until then she was more than happy with her friends. "How did you meet Frankie?" she asked curiously. She nodded again. "I feel like it would be a lot of fun because I didn't do a very good job during the lesson." Honestly the Centaur had made her a little nervous. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Tipping the photo for Esme to see as well Hady watched as it developed before their eyes. "I do. Want me to show you?" she asked nodding her head. They had learned how back in her first year. It was the whole reason she had went photo taking happy at the time. Hady smiled softly in silent agreement. There were lots of nice guys and girls around the school. She was sure Esme would find the right one when the time came, she was much to nice a person not to. "You will. Enjoy everything else until then." Friends. Family. Pets. And having loads of fun. "Oh, well we sort of knew each other from lessons but we officially met when she banged into each other in the corridor." An incident which resulted in her on her butt. It hadn't been funny at the time but it was now. There was a lot happening during that one lesson so it was no wonder the younger girl had had trouble. Hady didn't do so well herself. "Agreed." Mhmm. |
SPOILER!!: Jace-the-Japanese-Ace Mason spun around and looked at the boy. He was obviously a first year and totally sweet-looking. And from his answers in class, he clearly wasn't stupid. She had no idea what he had just said to her, obviously something foreign, since he looked foreign. Most definitely Asian. Mason smiled at the boy and extended her hand, "I have no idea what you just said, but I'm going to assume that you're greeting me." Hopefully, ore else this would be super awkward. "I'm Mason, by the way." She stated and took a seat in one of the bean-bag chairs closest to him. "So what are you doing up here?" She was just hoping that he said something again in that awesome-sounding Asian-y language, since it had sounded so cool. "Where are you from? Like your family's culture?" |
Jessie was bored. She decided to take another Hogwarts tour for herself. With a muggle books in her hands, the young lioness tried to figure some nice spot. the common room? seemed like not good. Too many students. the Black Lake? How if she drop her favourite books to the lake because of her clumsiness? Big No. She loves the book. Her dad bought it as her birthday gift. Jessie stop in her track and staring in awesomeness. She found it. Another nice place. A house in the branches. WOW A treehouse! withot wasting anotheq time Jessie grabbing her favourite book tightly and started climbing up to the treehouse. |
Jessie Quote:
okay, so the incident with Skrewt makes Raven felt he need to draw off the attention away from him.. he need to relax and just do his ordinary stuff.. so where should he go? the forbidden forest? ugh.. bad idea he shakes his head instantly okay... to the library? no.. he would meet up with Peeves again. not good.. so as he wanders around, walks the path and remembering other place good to go.. this time its really good to relax.. the treehouse he smiled and keep walking towards to it.. and as he near, he saw someone familiar.. oh.. no.. Jessie.. he stopped suddenly, hope she didnt see him coming, he wanted to turn back and avoid Jessie.. he don't want to meet her right away after the incident with Skrewt.. he did felt guilty and he noticed the girl been sad after the incident.. he want to soothe her.. but he doubt himself if he able to do so.. after all.. all this time, the things he been doing is just bringing her down. bitter smile, and getting ready to turn back |
Quote:
the Gryffindor climbed the rope ladder carefully when she felt someone staring at her. What's now? She has an ability to invite a weird creature and a lot of problems to come to her. Snapped her head to the source of stare she find those pair of blue eyes again. Pale face and short blond hair. A young boy seemed like avoiding her recently. Let out the sighed Jessie smiling toward him. But then blinking in confusion when she saw him turned around. "Hey Raven! Where are you going?" Jessie shouting at the boy.Ignoring the bird who flying in shock. But he couldn't avoiding her forever, right ? " Would you join me? I want to show a good book for you . " |
Quote:
"I am going to enjoy every moment," she agreed. "I'm not going to chase after boys or waste time with that stuff until I am ready to." Some people developed that thinking pretty early, but Esme wasn't one of them. She DID find Henric and Professor Finch handsome though. The thought caused her to blush slightly. "Oh, that sounds like something that happens in a movie." Esme laughed but it was true. It seemed that a lot of romance movies started with bumping into each other. "Do you think that the Centaurs will ever come back to teach?" she asked curiously. "I read somewhere that back when Harry Potter was in school a Centaur taught Divination." Honestly that would have been a lot more preferable than the hag. Centaurs KNEW things about the subject and they didn't eat kids. |
SPOILER!!: Esme Oh she could. And she would. Smiling she gave the photo a firm tap with the tip of her wand while reciting, "Alacer." A very simple charm really and even simpler wand movement. Instantly their photo came to life and they could see Hagan's ears and tail flicking about and some movement from Sparkle as well. "Aww look at them!" Sooo adorable their pets were. Good, good. Esme was a smart girl unlike some of the other younger and even older girls following boys about like lost little puppies. Really it was nauseating at times. This earned a smile and nod from Hady as she listened laughing quietly when her friend said that her meeting Frankie sounded like a movie. It really did! "It does! It's funny now but that day it wasn't." This was a good question but one she didn't know. If they did she certainly wouldn't complain. Hady would take a Centaur any day of the week especially after having dealt with that Hag/Lady. "I hope so! I bet there's a ton more they could teach us." |
Quote:
Spencer nodded. "I hear ya mate, I promise my mom to at least be as good as I been while I was in my muggle school."said Spencer laughing. Although Spencer was trying to behave this year, but the urge to cause some trouble was tempting him, after all he was a troublemaker. Spencer looked down at his drawing of his drawing of his snowy white owl and nodded. "Yeah I do actually, I'm not that good, but it's fun to do and keeps my mind off things. said Spencer. |
Quote:
The smile and nod meant that Hady approved of her mindset; Esme would think so since it was logical. There was a lot more to life than boys. Even the really attractive ones... "Is it like the movies in other ways?" Just because she wasn't in a rush to have a boyfriend didn't mean that she couldn't ask questions about it. Somehow the thought of talking to her mom about it made her feel awkward - as if she'd think her baby was growing up WAY too fast. "I want to learn all about their Divination! I don't really know about it." At least she knew that was what they were really good at. Not as if there were multiple books on the subject, however... |
SPOILER!!: Esme Watching the photo come alive was always really cool no matter how many times you've done it before. "They are," Hady agreed nodding her head as she looked to Hagan and Sparkle. Two unlike but very cute friends. Hearing Esme say she wanted to have a go at the spell Hady grinned passing her the camera first. "Go ahead. Take a photo of something and then give it a try. It's really easy to do." This question was a logical one but one she hadn't been asked before. Really when it came to boys she wasn't one people normally came to even if she did have a boyfriend. So Hady paused for a few seconds to think it over before giving her friend an answer this time. "I suppose in someways it is but not always. Like after when had bumped each other I mentioned to a friend that I thought he was cute so she had her boyfriend decided to set up a date for Frankie and I without either of us knowing...and on Valentine's Day. It ended badly and we wouldn't even look at one another for two weeks." Sad. Childish even. It had happened though. "I would offer to help but Divination isn't my forte honestly," Hady replied with a small laugh. Not that she was bad at it cause she wasn't, it just wasn't her thing. |
sorry if you wait too long Jess :P Quote:
"sure, show me the book" Oookaaay a sudden mood change? well.. he cant avoid her again now didn't he? so why don't just play along he might... maybe ... just maybe.. turn the condition into something better,,, He can't avoiding her forever, they studied in the same school after all.. "so... whats so interesting about this book?" and he start to walked near her with his usual sassy and cocky gesture.. Geeez Didn't this Slytherin's boy learn how to behave after the Skrewt incident? Pffftttt... |
welcome back,Raven :) Quote:
"No... I`m not busy.Come in." The young lioness walked closer to the fence of the treehouse and pull out the heavy book from her robe and raised it in front of her face so Raven could see it. Her smile went wide to see his cocky behaviour. Was that mean that the real Raven was back? She hopes so. Trying to forget what happened between them in the wooden bridge Jessie smiling casualy to the boy. "It`s muggle book. The title is the Green ember. Daddy bought it for me when I was younger. About the adventure of rabbits with their sword. So hurry up!" |
Quote:
So it was like a movie but not at the same time. Esme raised her brow when it was mentioned how the first 'date' had been a set up that turned out wrong. On Valentine's Day no less. Great intention, but it could have ended a lot worse. Thank Merlin it hadn't for Hady and Frankie's sakes. "So what made you guys decide to give it another go?" Probably realized that they liked each other a lot, right? Sorry for all the questions, but she was curious and only starting to realize that boys were cute. Giggle. "I like Divination and Care of Magical Creatures. I hope Professor Draper will let us work with Unicorns again." That would make her so happy. |
Quote:
Raven took the book from Jessie, and turn in side to side try to find some summary to read, he finds the books quite attractive, quite surprising for him that Jessie actually read muggle's book, but then it makes them have something in common right? "Do you read muggle's book often? I have few books too at my house, maybe i should brought them when i came home later on" he turning his sight to Jessie, look a bit to her and smile and soon he turn his attenttion to the books again, the books had captivating his attenttion |
SPOILER!!: Esme Aaww Esme was adorable! Getting so happy over being able to take a photo. Really it wasn't a big deal to Hady she knew the girl wouldn't break the camera or anything like that plus she was right here with her. Taking a picture with Hagan? Alright! "Sure!" Hady smiled and gently lifted Sparkle off of her newest pillow friend she that she herself could pick up her cat. Cuddling Hagan in her arms she turned her attention to the camera and smiled. The whole surprise date thing probably hadn't of been the best idea but she knew her friends were trying to help out. At least in the end things were okay. "Well Professor York asked us both to work together for animagus training and being together a lot for that helped us get to really know one another." So really it was just time. "Care of Magical Creatures is one of my favorites! I bet sometime over the next few years you'll get that chance," she laughed quietly. |
Quote:
"Did you like your muggle school mate?" he asked. "I didn't really like mine too much but I made decent friends. They are some of my best friends. I went to a muggle school in New York City." Incase the dude was curious. "What was your favorite subject in muggle school?" He heard his explanation about why he draws and he couldn't agree more. "I agree dude. I mean I draw because it is fun and it helps keeps my stress down." He continued to scribble and doodle. "You got any siblings here dude?" He swore he looked familiar. |
Quote:
"I think the adventure in the book will delight and inspire the readers to courage and creativity.I will not tell you about the storyline." Jessie nodded to herself " You read it by yourself. I can lend it to you. I hate to tell you the spoiler." Jessie giggled. She observed the expression Raven make. "Do you have a plan to back home in Christmas,Raven?" Her gaze turned to the book "What kind of book do you like the most?" She caught the smile he gave to her. And she likes it. She wants to make him smile more often. "I like to read the book with miracles, adventure, sometimes depression in the end, and.... magic.I love magic!" |
Quote:
"wow, you really lend me? Thanks... sounds so interesting book, i'll try to read it often before sleep" He turn his head a bit to her, before he was answering the question.. aah.. Christmas "i dont know, if my brother came back from Japan, i think i will" he sighed a bit before he continue "I love many kinda of books, adventure, horror or even funny books, but i read often about fiction and adventure, and very less romance, i love able to spread ,y imagination through adventure books, do you done that too?" Depression? Why? he wonder, his thought went far for seek answer for why.. he couln't find it, and there for he was absent for knowledge "tell me more about these magic books you loved" |
Quote:
Her eyes snapped back to Raven when the boy mentioned about Japan. " Japan?Your brother stay in Japan?I`m used to live in there before I got my Hogwarts letter."She almost bouncing in excitement. And a bit aware about some strange tone he use when talking about his brother. "And yep, of course. I can lend you all my books. I`m glad to meet a bookworm. My mom always scold at dad whenever he bought me various books. She always said that we`ll change our home into a library soon." The young girl laughing. She always couldn`t stop talking about the stuffs she likes."Sorry, I should stop babbling like an idiot." Yes she acted like an idiot whenever the boy around her. Then she playing with her locks unconsiously. "Would you give me some recommendations about your favorite books?" She look straight at a pair of blue eyes. "I`ve read about the Tales of Beedle the Bard.Hey, all wizards and witch reads that book. And I like to read muggles book that wrote about magic. even some muggles love magic. For example Magical Stories for Little Children, Mathilda ect." The younger raised her arms and imitate a pair of wings. "Yes,I did,Raven. I also like to read Fairy books. And I want to be an elf or beautiful Fairy.Have a pair of blue wings, flying whenever I like without worrying about anything." |

BEAMING, Esme held the camera up to her face and waited for Hady and Hegan to get into position for their picture to be taken. Being no stranger to cameras this wasn't the part that excited her as much; the animation was the most appealing part. Though she DID have to say that this was an adorable sight to be seen. "Perfect! Say cheese!" As she spoke, she snapped a photo. Perfect. Now they just needed to wait a moment for it to develop. The mention of Professor York caused Esme to feel a small pang. "I miss her." She had only been there for one term, but she seemed to have had an impact on a lot of students. "So you're learning to become an Animagus?" Wow. That was pretty awesome. Maybe one day she would try to learn herself. "I think that's the best way to do things. Seems that sometimes people rush into those things." Or at least from what she saw... though maybe sometimes you just KNEW right away that you were meant to be with a person. Love at first sight. "I'm glad I'm not the only person who loves that class!" Though of course since Hady wanted to work with creatures it wasn't a big surprise... "Oh, that's true! Maybe I could ask him!" Honestly she wasn't sure if Professor Draper would take suggestions or not. |
Quote:
He listen to every words she was saying, he takes a deep attention on every detail she was gave to him. Carefully he watched and listen to her, didn't even turned away his sight.. "My favorite booķs? Oh i have plenty, i read Lord of The Rings series, Musashi, oh you should read Musashi, it is about samurai named the same with the title, it was awesome" he was showing so much amazed to the books and he tell it with passion.. He is also amazed with all the books she was reading, it seem he also find companion for reading books and not only regular magic books but also muggle's books He watched her with sparkling eyes, like he just saw a magical elf she was describing, without his realizing his smile fissure.. |
SPOILER!!: Esme "Meow!," Hady exclaimed with a bit of laughter rather then saying 'cheese'. It seemed funnier to meow seeing as how she was taking the picture with her cat and all. Still smiling she set Hagan down on her lap to pet his ears as she glanced at the photo that was still developing. "It should only take a few moments." Good thing with this magical stuff. Everything usually happened very quickly. Hady let out a small sigh. "So do I. She really helped both Frankie and I a lot with starting our training and if it weren't for her having the two of us we might not be as close as we are now." They had avoided one another like the plague before Professor York partnered them together. "Yeah I started on my own but now Frankie and I work side by side with it." It was really nice to have someone going through it with you. This Hady agreed with completely. "They do rush into things mostly because it's new and exciting. Not always the best way to go." At least in her opinion. "You should! He might just add it to his lesson plans if he hasn't already." It was worth a try anyhow. |
Quote:
Now that was a new way to say 'cheese'. Esme giggled as she waited for the phot to develop but fortunately it only took moments to do so. As they waited, she returned her attention to Hagan, giving him some more ear scratches. "I wish I had my own camera. I usually use my mom's." Maybe she would ask for one for her birthday but she wasn't too sure yet. There WERE a lot of pretty things around here to photograph, so it probably was worth it... "Aha! It's done" Pleased she looked it over. Time for her to try out the spell. Grabbing her wand she gave the photo a firm tap. "Alacer." IT WORKED. That made her a lot happier than thinking about Professors she missed. Esme wondered why Professors Cassie and York had to leave but she knew that the time had come for them and there were other things going on with their lives. She could respect that even if she didn't LIKE it. "Oh, so I guess you can thank her for you two getting together." It was wonderful how things turned out; the world worked in mysterious ways. "So how far have you guys come in your training? How exactly do you practice to become an Animagus?" This was a subject that interested her - how could it not? The thought of turning into an ANIMAL. It was incredible. "I don't see the point in rushing. Life is meant to be enjoyed." She smiled. Not to say that she moved as slow as a snail, but yeah. Talking to the Professor seemed to be the best course of action. "I hope he likes the idea. He always seems... grumpy to me." Did he even like Hufflepuffs? Sometimes she wondered... |
Quote:
she observed his face. What was wrong with him? why he looks so sad? She was amazed with the books he mentioned about. "I've never been read about Musashi,Raven. But I've book which is talked about Japan. the Last Samurai. Have you read it?" Jessie felt the wind blows to her face. Some of her brown locks flying. She didn't realize the gaze Raven gave to her. She closed her eyes but actually in her mind she was thinking of the boy who stood beside her. "Have you ever wonder how was the sensation of flying ,Raven?" |
SPOILER!!: Esme Meowing wasn't exactly the way to say 'cheese' but it had done the trick and made the younger girl laugh. A win, win right there. Hady smiled as Hagan leant into the touch nearly causing himself to topple off of her lap in the process. Shaking her head at the cat she lifted him up and set him down on the floor between the two of them. "Maybe you can ask for one for your birthday or Christmas even though that's rather far away yet." Her eyes shifted from Hagan to the photo in Esme's hand another smile forming on her lips as the charm worked. "Great job Esme!" See she told her it was really easy to do! Yeah she could thank Professor York for that. Laughing quietly she nodded her head. "Yeah we could. Well it's a really lot of reading and taking all these different quizzes to make sure we know what we've read. We also brewed a potion a few times which turned us into the animal of our choice for a little while. There's also transfiguration and learning to turn a part of yourself into that of animal." It's all a very long tiring process but it would be so worth it in the end. This made her laugh. "He seems grumpy but he's really rather nice." |

As Hady explained the process for becoming an Animagus Esme listened carefully though she was still giving the cat some ear scratches. There was no way that she was going to ignore her new fur buddy. "Wow, no wonder a lot of people don't bother becoming one. What animals did you guys turn into?" Would it be the same creature as their actual form? Or was there no subconscious choosing when it came to that? Maybe it was like a Patronus in the sense that the form was based off of personality. So many questions but she was getting more and more interested as she thought about it. Professor Draper is nice? Errr... she wasn't sure about that. "Sometimes I get the feeling that he doesn't care for Hufflepuffs." |
SPOILER!!: Esme Hagan didn't seem at all bothered by his topple onto the floor between the two girls that were showering him with pettings and lots of attention. The fluffy cat was purring rather contently to show his appreciation. "Anytime. I don't mind teaching you other charms as well." It's what older years did. They gave out assistance when needed. Or well she did at least. Hady didn't mind talking about the whole process if one was actually listening to her. Like Esme. The girl was honestly listening, asking questions and appeared to be truly interested. In which case Hady smiled at her and answered honestly,"I've been a fox, an owl, a cat and random other parts of animals. It's strange at first but when you get to actually fly or run free or even just see what they see it's really amazing." Just one of the many reasons she was working so hard at this. Not care for Hufflepuffs? Of course he did! "I don't think it's that. I think he just prefers the quiet, hardworkers and those that really take an interest." She hadn't had a problem with the Professor at all...but maybe that was due to the talk she had had with him about her future. |

Lots of animal transformations. It would be so cool to try different ones out and see the different aspects of them. To be able to run really fast, be able to fly, or be able to swim underwater without growing tired. "So what form was your favourite?" While flying seemed cool she would DEFINITELY have passed on becoming a bird. They were one of her greatest fears. In fact they probably would have been her Boggart up until recently. Now she had a feeling that it would be Juno's dead body. Something that she never wanted to witness if she could help it. Hopefully they wouldn't become a part of any Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson. She could imagine the trauma that would cause. Really? Esme never considered that... "I like him fine I just got that impression for some reason." The man could be really grumpy but honestly he didn't bother her much at all. Normally he wasn't so bad otherwise. He was much better than the hag, but then who wasn't? |
SPOILER!!: Esme! A patronus? Hady couldn't contain the grin that formed on her lips at hearing this. "You're not the only one I've heard say this recently. I started trying back in my third year and finally managed it right before the end of my last year. So if you like I can work on it with you." A very difficult charm yes but one she was very proud of herself for learning. Her favorite. Uh. Each had it's own pluses and fails. While flying had been totally amazing it was hard learning to do so without face-planting into the ground, which she had actually done. "I really liked being a fox. Being able to run and jump, it was a lot of fun." Totally an animal she would become again. Hady smiled at her. "I think you should ask him about the Unicorns though." |

Foxes were nice animals and one that Esme would much rather be than a bird. "I think I would want to be one too. They are so pretty and fast. I think I'd be almost anything besides a bird because they terrify me." Shudder. Honestly she couldn't even remember where that fear had come from but she had been scared of them for as long as she could remember. "I think I will and I'll also ask about Hippogriffs because I really want to ride one!" Winged horses too. Who didn't like winged horses? |
SPOILER!!: Esme She would. Anyone willing to work hard on something was someone she had no problem with assisting. Esme was one of those that she knew would give it her all. "Of course. Whenever you're ready to start just let me know." It might take months or years to accomplish but there was nothing wrong with that at all. Hady smiled when asked about her patronus. "Mine is a Fennec Fox and sure I can show you if you like." Most people didn't go about showing off their patronus but her, well she didn't mind it. This she could agree with. Not the part about birds being terrifying but the part about foxes. "So you don't like birds at all?" "Hippogriffs are awesome but you need to be more careful around them." Bowing and all that to show respect. |
For Baek/Timmy! Alice was waiting for Timmy in the Treehouse, they agreed to meet here. Timmy was basically her best lady friend at Hogwarts and her new Big Sister. Since like Max, Taylor was busy being a Mam and having children. But like.. she needed a sister for stuff and Timmy seemed like the perfect candidate. She was splitting a scone with Diaval who seemed to be enjoying it. But she didn't give him too much of it ever because bread honestly isn't very good for birds. She laid on the floor of the tree house with her lags leaning against the wall as she waited for her blonde friend. The Purple converses she got for christmas were up in the air as she stared at the ceiling, Diaval perching on her foot. "Having fun up there, pretty bird?" She asked and made some little whistle noises at him. |

For Ern. Torrance was on his own today. He finished working on some homework he barely just managed to squeak by without getting distracted. Okay well, he got distracted from his homework and now he's outside. The Young Lion had left his papers on the Table back in the Gryffindor Common Room and dashed outside the second he saw how nice it was outside. He wandered around the Grounds for a while before making his way to the Tree House. He arched his head up and looked at it above him. He took hold of the Rope ladder and started his way up. About a few feet off the ground, Tory's foot slipped through one part of the ladder and it took him by such surprise he lost his gripe and fell. Once his back met the Ground. He figured he'd be paralyzed for life from the waist down!!...but no...the grass and hard ground under him..it felt like falling on couch cushions. SOOOO COOL! So he had an idea. Torrance got back up and climbed the ladder, successfully this time. Once he reached the top he looked below him. Then he started to pull the Rope Ladder up. |

And then, ahead of her, she spotted a kid who looked like he was up to no good. A prefect's work was never done. "Hey. Hey, Gryffindor!" She stomped the rest of the way to the foot of the treehouse and peered up at him. "You can't hog the whole tree." |

Head shake. Nope, she did NOT like birds. "I have a little owl so that I can send letters but he's the only one I'm okay with." That was based more on the fact that she was familiar with him at this point than anything else. A large owl had definitely been out of the question and she didn't know if she'd get another one when he died. Probably not. "I know that they are really proud and I really don't want to get hurt." Esme shuddered. It would be amazing if she could get through Hogwarts without having to go to the Hospital Ward even once. |
