Default Spare Office

If you happen to try one of the doors near the end of the sixth floor corridor, you might just find yourself in a handsome (if not dusty and aged) office of a large size. The faint smell of crystallized pineapple seems to linger in the air of the room, which contains numerous side doors and nooks and crannies... all of which remain firmly locked.

Although the room is devoid of any office-like furniture, or any furniture at all, there is still an impressive, but faded, rug before the large fireplace and long mirror hanging over that to boot. The spare office is still a cool place to hang out, practice some wandwork, or do some light reading. Just don't linger too long; the office's famous owner was only fond of certain guests... and only as long as they didn't ask prying questions.

"Miss Ketlleburn." Nana began, only to pause. Where did one even begin? What track did one take with a heart-broken third year? Concern. Concern first and foremost. "Miss Kettleburn, are you injured? you mentioned climbing out of the tower... " Nana had been... Hoping it was an exaggeration, but the more she looked upon the young girl the more she was sure it had not been. Perhaps the Gryffindor ought to be taken to the Hospital Wing just to be safe.

"Should you feel the need for more supervised practice in the future, however, you know where to find me. Keep the tennis ball. Reminder of your accomplishments today."

If the Slytherin were the sentimental sort, that is.
The Slytherin was indeed the sentimental sort. Jaemin was a hoarder of praise and things, thank you very much. The small boy bounced happily and scooped up the tennis ball, holding it in one hand against his chest and beaming at the professor before moving to pick up the folded up sweatshirt from the desk it had been placed upon. Couldn't forget that! Sniffler would have one less pocket to curl up in!

"Thank you again, professor..." he busily tucked his wand away, making sure it was secure and safe, and bounced toward the door. The professor had stuff to do, and so did he. He had quite a few flights of stairs to go down, to reach his next class, and even though it was down and not up, it was still a very loooooooong hike on his short little legs. The boy gave the professor a happy wave. "I'll see you in class!"

Or his office, when he mastered the spell and went to show him how well he could do it. Whichever came first, you know? Jaemin hoped it was the office, but... it'd probably be the class. The small boy was very nearly out the door before he remembered something and leaned back into the doorway again.

"Oh right." He held up his hand, fingers clumsily working themselves into the Vulcan salute, and grinned. "Bye!"

Aaaaaaand then he was gone, bouncing off down the hall with the tennis ball still clutched in his little hand.

"I did climb out, but I didn't fall or anything." Sniff. No. To be fair if she had fell she would be a smear on the ground and not here in this room right now. "I'm not injured." Just REALLY sad. And her hair was crazy thanks to the wind.

It was the worst.

Death was the worst.

"Do you think I'll be able to see the thestrals?"
She sniffed a few times and looked up at the professor imploringly, lip wibbling slightly.
