The Snakes sit under a brand new silver and green banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. It was once said that the Hogwarts House Elves are the best in the world. It is up to your stomach to agree... but surely it will! Why wouldn't it like elf cooking?
If you're thirsty, there is also fresh pumpkin juice and water on the table, regardless of whether or not it is actually mealtime.
Kelly was feeling hungry. She really needed something to eat and she wasn't sure what she would find. After that smoothie bowl she had had recently, nothing seemed to compare. But she couldn't make them on her own, so the blonde made her way to the slytherin house table.
After all this mood board creating and cutting out fitting pieces she felt exhausted, even though it wasn't much of physical work her mental juices weren't quite as awake as before. As Kelly arrived at the table she looked around to see if she found someone she knew...but it didn't seem so. Eating on her own....great. The fourth year sat down quietly and grabbed a bowl of fruit salad.
Apples were supposed to provide caffeine right?!

Her usual peeps didn't seem to be around, so Sam considered her options. She could sit alone at her own table, try sitting at the Gryffie on in case made her bestie appear, or visit either of the other tables for the first time.
There was a girl already sat at the Slytherin one, and Sam's curiosity easily won out, so she headed over that way. She lingered by the bench, realising the girl was older than she'd first thought.

"Min' if I join ya?" Better to ask, right?
Kelly was just about to put some pasta on her plate as a someone approached her. As the girl got closer the slytherin noticed that she was quite a bit younger than her. But Kelly didn't really mind. Company was company.
"Of course not, join me."
With a pat on the space next to her the blonde smiled at the girl. She wasn't a slytherin that was for sure. Otherwise she would have seen her around considering the amount of time Kelly spent in the common room making mood boards and reading about stars.
Thinking about it more she hadn't seen this girl around anywhere before...but the school was big and new friends were always welcome.
A smile curled on Sam's lips. It was good to know not all older Slytherin girls were as judgemental as the one she met at the start of the year. Well, so far, at least. She supposed she'd only said four words, but the girl had gestured to sit beside her which was promising.
"'m Sam," she introduced as she slid on to the bench and reached for bowl. "Yeh doin' anyfink interestin'?" She hadn't been so nosy to take a look.

As she saw the smile on the little girls face she smiled back. Why not be friendly?! That girl had done nothing to her. Her accent was kinda funny but that wasn't her fault. Kelly's accent was funny to some people too.
"I am Kelly Rose Flenagan, nice to meet you." Every new encounter could become something special later on, who knew.
"I was about to eat something, maybe pasta", she grinned as she put some on her plate, " and you? What are you doing on a house table that isn't yours? That wasn't meant to be mean or harsh, Kelly was simply curious.

"D'ya go by Kell-eh Rose, or jus' Kell-eh?" She couldn't tell from the way the girl introduced herself, and better to check now rather than get it wrong in the future.
Just a food break? Well, that was cool. It was what she was here for, after all. "Jus' curious. None of me friends are 'ere, so why not try a table I ain't bin to befor'? Yeh might get diff'ren' cook-ehs or somefink." Sure, she hadn't found any whilst eating at the Gryffie table with Dora, but who knew if that applied in general? They were the sorts of things that needed checking before she went home and would be eating scraps again.

"What flaveh pasta is it?"
It was really amusing, even after all the people she had introduced herself to, all of them had reacted the same. Some even asked her if she wanted to be called by her full name. Like who does that? This question made sense though. A lot of people preferred to go by their middle name also. "Just Kelly", she nodded," i just like to introduce myself by my full name. " It was like with the introduction of her full name the blonde opened up her world to them. Not parts of them but the full spectrum of her world. Much nicer than just giving them one finger, where as she has ten.
"I couldn't find any of my friends either so i decided to sit alone for a while." This girl was smart and the slytherin liked that. As a first year she couldn't know about the food habits of Hogwarts. "So do we have different cookies than you?" Kelly herself hadn't spotted any differences between the tables but maybe she was missing something.
She was glad she asked, given that it seemed that Rose was a middle name, not part of her first name. "Gotcha. Me full name's S'man'fa Tyleh, but s'bit of mouthful, so I jus' go as Sam." It also proved useful to have a shortened boy's name now and then, particularly at home, but this girl probably didn't need to know that.
Sam nodded. "Well, if I'm bovverin' ya, yeh can tell me to shove off." She wouldn't take offense - she was pretty easy going in that regard. As for the cookies? Sam shrugged. "Dunno. I ain't found any diff'rent ones yet, but it don't mean they aren't teh be found. Might've jus' come on the wrong day." Too many other variables in play, really. "You eva eat at ovver tables?"
It's as if the sound of the Poltergeist's words of praise ignited something else, something different and yet oh-so-familiar. If you listen closely enough, over the sound of the hustle and bustle of the Great Hall, you might just hear...
Elsa ha just finished her plate, leaning back on the bench, stretching her arms abover her head in a lazy stretch-yawn when an eruption of giggles sounded around the table.
She sat straight, looking at those around her "Can you hear that?" She asked. Then, as the giggles continued she felt herself giggle as well.

Kelly couldn't help but giggle a little. This ickle was too funny. She'd definitely have a good time here. " It's a nice name though. Handy to shorten as well." Kelly was hard to shorten. It was a pretty short name itself, cause her mum had wanted something that no one could "make a nickname of" whatever that meant or why so ever she wanted that. "It's a pleasure Sam"
Of course the little one wasn't bothering her at all. If Kelly didn't feel social she wouldn't hang around the great hall, someone was bound to join her anyway. "Oh not at all", the fifth year shook her head and smiled," just go ahead and try if our food tastes different to yours." She wouldn't imagine so, since everything was made by the same elves but you never knew. "I haven't eaten at a different table but i occasionally hang out there to see my friends. Haven't noticed any differences" That would be such a scandal wouldn't it ? *House elves poisoning Gryffindors on purpose* Snort. Not that she wanted anyone to be hurt. The headline just made her laugh. " But if you ever look for cookies, go to the kitchen after dinner time. The elves always have some around."
Sam started piling a whole load of food on to her plate as Kelly spoke. "Sam certainly does 'av its advantages. 'specially where I live," she agreed, topping her pasta with some meatballs and deciding she'd got enough for now. "Nice teh meet yeh too, Kelleh. Min' if I ask wut year yeh in?"
She stabbing a meatball, and tasted it curiously. "Can't taste anyfink diff'ren'." She shrugged. Honestly, she hadn't been expecting to, but it didn't mean she wasn't curious all the same. "I fink it's fun teh eat at diff'ren' tables. Meet more people." Like today she'd met Kelly, and it turned out not all older Slytherins were like that girl that said she couldn't speak proper and expected Sam to be her minion. "Dose cookies are awesome," Sam agreed with a nod. "Me bestie showed me 'em right after I started. I like de 'ot choc'lit and marshmallehs too, but we 'av 'em come teh Common Room now so don't 'av teh take the stairs." Because taking hot chocolate up seven flights of stairs meant it was decidedly NOT hot when you arrived, even if the moving staircases were feeling particularly amenable.
Which made her think. "Wut's yeh Common Room like?" Was it REALLY underwater?!
After getting elbowed by Hady for taking some of her grapes and a few more moments of chewing, the Gryffindor swallowed down the bit of sandwich in his mouth and set the remains on his plate for the time being. He knew that the right thing for him to do was properly greet the professor, but his mother did teach him not to speak with his mouth full. So, obviously, taking care of the food in his mouth was of priority.
Besides, Hady could do all of the talking on his behalf, right? She was good at that. They were a great team, him and her. She took care of all the talking and the meticulous details; he took care of making them both look good, making her laugh whenever the stress-levels were high, and just being downright awesome. Both of them were serious when it came to their ambitions. Though Frankie had to admit that he look a slightly lighter, more fun approach to achieving what he wanted.
Longingly eyeing the food in front of him, he was tempted to reach for one of the desserts. His attention, however, was grasped by the professor the moment she uttered the word Animagi. She wanted to revisit the subject? Was she going to take them both under her wing? "No, no, no. This is definitely a good time, professor," the blond stated with a nod of his head, the food in front of him forgotten not on the forefront of his mind. "In fact, it's a great time to talk about Animagi. Right, Hady?"

When Frankie spoke up for them she found herself nodding right away in agreement. "It's the prefect time.," She stated softly with a light smile. See they could both really focus when they should. Please let her say she would be taking them both on. Together. As a pair.
"excellent. I won't waste much of your time. Rather, I will get straight to the point." Nana assumed neither student was eager for a long conversation or anymore waiting, and she herself was anxious. "This summer I would like to see the two of you and work with you, but I suggestion use your vacation time to rest, relax and mull over why this is important to you. If they could not this one hundred percent of their abilities it would only waste her time and theirs.

"Do ether of you have any questions?"
"You're not wasting any of our time Professor," Hady assured softly shifting in her seat just a little bit. Whatever had Nana seeking them out in the Great Hall was well worth their time. Hunger could wait.
As their transfiguration professor spoke about her conversation with their previous professor Hadleigh couldn't help but brush the fingers of her hand against Frankie's briefly. He had heard that right? They would now she officially training once again. This was wonderful news! A small smile tugged at her lips as she nodded firmly once. "Of course Professor." No messing about would be had from her. She wanted this.
Wait. Had she just said...this summer? Hadleigh let out a slow breath her mind instantly going over several options. There was noway she could say no. Animagus training was important. But then so was her summer plans if she got accepted. Glancing quickly from the blonde at her side then back to Nana she nodded once more. "Only one Professor. How often during the summer would we be working with you?" Just an idea would do. Was it once a week or more then that? Strictness didn't bother her one bit. Making sure she worked out her time did.

The one thing that Frankie loved about Professor Ichihara was that she got right to the point. In times like these, with OWLs and prefect duties and adoring the girlfriend, time was precious. Luckily with some of those things he could multi-task. A small smirk appeared on his face, his hand feeling the warmth of Hady's fingers brushing up against his.
And that smirk quickly grew into a smile. SHE WAS TAKING THEM ON! SHE WAS GOING TO TRAIN THEM! The boy was tempted to hop out of his seat and give the professor a biiiiiiiiig hug right there in the hall for everyone to see, but he managed to contain himself. After all, she did just mention that they had better not be taking the whole ordeal lightly or be doing anything rash. Frankie had an inkling that comment was directed toward him specifically. Sheesh. Thanks, professor. No need to be hating on the level awesomeness that only Gryffindors can truly achieve.
The obvious House targeting was quickly forgotten as Ichihara continued to speak. She wanted to work with them over the summer? The blond gave Hady a glance and then returned his full attention back to the woman. "Summer works for me, professor." It wasn't like he had anything major planned besides relaxing by the pool, using his History of Magic textbook as a coaster, seeing Hady as often as possible... he deserved a nice break after surviving through such a hectic term.
As for questions, Frankie only had one: why was Hady asking about how often they'd be meeting up for Animagi reasons? He glanced back at the Slytherin, wondering what that was all about.
