So many a door and so many a ~~bore~~ chore are found on this, the second floor. Between the Arithmancy classroom and the Headmaster's Office are several doors, nooks, and crannies... so what's not to explore on this legendary floor?

Azura nodded solemnly, she has pulled back from Torie, but she was still hovering close to the older boy, her purple eyes looking around to make sure the doll wasn't anywhere around here!

"Yes! No more broken noses! I've already had five so far this year." She said with a sigh, and one earlier the evening! She really needed to be more careful! And learn how to Episky herself!

"Yes, well my friend and dorm mate Rachel she found it on the train and so she was keeping it in our dorm.. When it disappeared." She explained as she looked up at him and bit her lip a little worriedly.. Was there really a creepy doll on the loose?

She nodded worriedly up at the tall boy. "It left of a note! It was so creepy!" Azura was close to him again and she was almost reaching up to hold his hand! But she stilled and bit her lip a little as she clasped her arms across her chest.

"Who would do that though? It's so creepy!"

He blinked again, who did things like that? "That just seems odd, why would they randomly take a doll that doesn't belong to them? I mean mum said you never know what might be on an unknown object. A curse or something could be placed on it. Like certain books that make you speak only in limericks and stuff."

Azura nodded solemnly as she looked up at Torie, his reaction was completely understandable! "Yes, twice on the platform while waiting for the train to come here, Once in the common room during a Party for the Ravenclaws, once in Defense against the Dark Arts, and then earlier tonight." She admitted, that table had come out of no where. "I wouldn't suggest it really, but.. thankfully people seem to know how to use Episky really well." She said with a happy smile.

"I might have to teach you the spell." She said with a warm smile up at the older boy. They were friends right? So he would need to know it when she inevitably fell and hurt something around him.

She shrugged a little, "I don't know, I wouldn't take something that wasn't mine either, but..she did. She told a professor about it." But Azura wasn't super sure about what had happened with that. Surely.. they would have done something about it if it was dangerous.. right?

She nodded, "Hence, why I've been so scared tonight." She said softly as she looked up at him and smiled, she felt so much safer with Torie around though. She couldn't explain it, she just.. did. She had to fight the urge to hug him again! She was still a little jumpy.

He winced at the five different places that she had broken her nose. "Merlin, that's crazy! Earlier tonight?!" he asked blinking at her again. How... "I wouldn't either! That sounds incredibly painful. Episky? That I haven't learned yet, but I had it used, and it's painful as well..." Merlin! "I don't know if I could use that spell on someone if I knew it would cause more pain." he said shaking his head at her offer. Okay he was an auror to be, that meant he helped fix pain not cause it right?

He bit his lip and nodded. "It sounds creepy, do you think maybe it had drawn her to it maybe?" he asked curiously. Maybe that's why she'd taken the doll? It wanted to go to the school? He nodded, "I can understand that. I would be too!"

Azura could sense when she had overshared about her clumsiness, usually when fear and panic entered the other person's eyes. She felt her hand move to her hair and she started to tug at it a little anxiously as she attempted to save the conversation, Torie sounded like he was about three seconds away from bolting from her and never seeing her again. Part of her almost wanted to let him.. If he didn't want to be around her, then that was his prerogative..But she liked his presence..

Breathe Azura.. Calm down.. just breathe.. She thought to herself as she smiled at him.

"Yes, earlier tonight, I tripped over a table and went face first into the edge of a couch." She said softly, before looking up at him.

"Well, if you think of it this way, you are only causing pain for a few more seconds, before the pain eases. The spell heals broken noses and toes and fingers, so as soon as it's said.. You have pain from the bone going back into place. But then, no more pain because it's healed." Her purple eyes shone up at him. "My mom is a healer, I know all about this stuff." She explained.

Drawn her too it? Azura's eyes went wide and the hands that had been tugging on her black hair dropped to her side.. "I never thought of it, but it could very well have, it wanted to come to the school, so it used Rachel.. which is why it left when it had the chance.."

And now the was a CREEPY DOLL wandering around school..

He winced again, "Ow." he whispered. Just nope. Painful, and five times even?! He shook himself a little to try to get his mind to stop thinking horrible thoughts on breaking that nose. "We need you in bubble wrap" he said with a soft laugh. He nodded at her words, "I guess you're right. It still sounds painful though." he said pulling a face. "Is she?" he asked curiously, maybe she knew Jordan. He was a friend of the family. Well, more like his mum's personal healer. Heh.

"Oh merlin, that's creepy. It wanted to come to the school, so it used Rachel and now it's here." As was that creepy looking hag. He shivered again at the thought. There was just something about that woman! "It doesn't want to be caught. What if...we went searching for it? Would it stay hidden?"

"I've thought of it, but I've learned the cushioning charm recently, so I'm hoping I can get good enough with that to cast it before I hit the ground." It would take some quick wand work.. but hopefully she would be able to do it!

"It's only painful for a few seconds and then the pain is gone, i promise you." She smiled up at him reassuringly. "Yes, she works at St.Mungo's." She said with a nod.

Azura was now about as close to Torie as she could get without hugging him, the more they talked about the creepy doll the more creeped out she got and she more she wanted to feel safe! "Now it's here, but why is it here? And I'm not sure if we could find it? I guess we could try?" She said as she bit her lip a little and looked up at the taller boy..

She hoped he would keep her safe!

Paul Myers was not in a mood to sit in his office today; well, rarely was he in the mood to sit in his office. But today more so than most, he just...he needed to do something extremely entertaining. And so...

With a colander on his head, a pot and spoon in his hands that were be-mittened with oven mits, he had marched all the way up here...and he was DETERMINED to make his rounds the school....

BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG WHOP

Went the wooden spoon on the pot, as Paul bellowed out the words to some folk song he'd picked up a few years back. If anyone cared to join him, he wouldn't mind. There was lots of bum wiggling and general bad dancing to be had, for sure.

As he marched down the corridor there was a feint banging noise, and strange yodeling too.

Tory had to know what it was, so his small steps became larger and faster until he managed to reach the Mister Herbology Professor. He paused in awe of the man who probably had no cares in the world right now...or was maybe hit with some spell that made him go crazy. Maybe it was the Former?

Paul booty-bumped a suit of armor--no big deal--it clanged along with all of HIS clanging and he just found the noise very transitional for his own noise. He whipped around, because he would march back and forth for a bit, and he spotted young Tory.

"TOOOOORY--" he yelled, and he banged his pot enthusiastically. "Would you care to join my temporary kitchen utensil band?!" he asked, smirking. His grey-blue eyes had lit up in excitement. HE HOPED THE BOY SAID YES.

"Don't accidentally hurt anyone, okay?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as he handed the boy the noise-makers. "Ahh, the sound of music made from every-day objects, I tell you! Nothing like this!" He was convinced his blue grass band needed a pot-player now.

"Okay. Just march behind me and make as MUCH noise as you possibly CAN--" he grinned. "It's not that hard--" NOPE. Not at all.

Paul began to march forward, ignoring the question about the armor because..er....he wasn't sure Tory could do so without knocking it over, and he didn't WANT the boy to knock it over so...

"I'd only use it bluntly if I had to. Don't worry." He told the Herbology Professor rather bluntly. "Bluntly in the sense of hitting it to the back of the Pot." Though has this man not seen the Disney Classic Tangled? Pots and Pans were effective weapons too.

"You SURE bet I will!" He banged on the back of the pot a few times to show Myers he got the jist of what he was supposed to do.

He followed behind the white haired man with a jump and skip in his step. Banging on the pot as loudly as he could. Wow...where was he going before he ran into this? ...He forgot...but who cared!!!!!!

Who needed Peeves to cause trouble? He and Mister Professor Myers we're doing a pretty damn good job at it here.

A song!?! Sing a song, Tory had to think of a song to sing right there on the spot!!!! Ohhh think Spades think! OKAY YEAH HIS FAVORITE SONG BY FAR!

He started to sing yell. Trying his hardest now to bang along to the song in his head. Terribly off though.

WHOOPSIES! Paul always forgot that the boy wasn't a Primeaux. Oops. "So sorry, Mr. SPADES..." he grinned over his shoulder at the first year.

And they were off! Making sweet sweet KITCHEN MUSIC right now! Paul clanged his spoon on the pot and whistled along with Tory because he just couldn't think of a song right now, and Tory seemed to be doing just fine!

The professor led the boy down the corridor. He was sure someone would come along eventually, maybe, because man, were they being loud right now!

"LALAAAAAL LAAA LAAAAA!" he sang along with Tory...and eventually when the boy stopped singing, Paul whipped around to face him and clapped. "VERY good, m'boy!" he grinned. "You're so good at playing the pot!"
