Art's lessons usually begin with students walking into the lab, retrieving their white lab coats from hooks along the side of the wall (which you all wrote your name on during the first lesson of the term), and setting up their work space for the lesson. You can chat amongst yourselves, but nothing too full on.
Uhhhh. Did that say heat? Or heart? Or hurt? If she had to hurt a cauldron she was so out of here okay, hurting was not an option. Norah squinted at the blackboard some more. As if the blurriness of her vision weren't enough, all the steam from everybody ELSE'S antidotes was doing a very good job of making the writing on the board essentially illegible. It seemed all those years of avoiding reading were coming back to haunt her, 'cause she just could not tell what she was supposed to do next.
Maybe she could.....take another rest......y'know....just for a second. Until her vision got normal again so she could keep brewing. Yes. That seemed like a grand idea. The prefect slumped onto the chair again and pulled her knees up to her chest just like she had before. Yes, yes this was good. nice and peaceful, right. Just gonna shut her eyes for a little bit and pretend everything wasn't aching.
Her eyes flew open and she groaned loudly at the sound of SOMETHING awfully disruptive and not conducive to good rest. WHY was Professor Newton YELLING? Not cool, Professor. First he made her drink something that made the pounding in her head unbearable and then he YELLED too? Professor Culloden never would've done that. She'd bet anything. It wasn't very nice to compare professors but she really didn't feel like being nice anymore, she felt like lying down on the floor and never getting up again. Norah let out another groan and tried to sit up just as somebody handed something to her, which she nearly dropped. But she didn't. So there. What? She eyed the contents of the vial. The itchiness of her throat was convincing enough for her to down the potion in one long swallow, not paying any attention to what Professor Newton was saying now. Cleaning up her station would have to wait. For now regaining the ability to function needed to be a priority.

What…say what?
What was that the professor was saying?
So not only had David not done anything wrong to not have the antidote he had brewed for her not work, but the one she had started for him was just as worthless. Someone or something had messed up an ingredient. Well that was it…she wasn’t bothering to complete the brewing even if the professor wanted her to. Nope. This Ravenclaw was not going to do it. She was just going to take this offered cup of the real working antidote and try to feel better. To be better so she could actually move from her spot on the floor.
Olivia took said cup and took a deep breath before drinking it down in one gulp. The sooner it was in her body, the sooner it could take effect and make her better. So she could leave when a certain potions master dismissed him. The headache went first and she gave a sigh of relief when the queasiness followed. The class had finally been called finished when she felt willing to test her balance and chance standing up again. When she wasn’t greeted with negative reactions, the first year made her way back to her station to clean up, more than ready to leave.

You're a cool dude..."
Haddie closed her eyes and was so still and silent for the next few minutes that one might have thought she'd fallen asleep. Then she lifted her head and breathed a sigh of relief. Sure, the room was still swaying ever-so-slightly and the light was still a bit thin and stretched, but she was feeling soo much better. She smiled gratefully at Tenacius. "Thank you."
Haddie glanced around the room, seeing how everyone else was doing, and once again her eyes fell on her ex-bestie. She still had the sharpie all over her face, and even though Haddie was more or less back to being her old self, she still felt being poisoned and acting delirious and foolish in front of everyone was enough to deal with. Haddie raised her wand, without getting up from her seat and aimed it at Rachel's face. She was feeling much better, and was confident she could cast magic again without almost passing out. Nor did she need to go over to the girl to cast it now. "Scourgify!" There that should take care of the sharpie.
He nearly dropped that cup in his giddiness at being called a HERO. Can he feel his glorious robes cape waving in the imaginary breeze? You bet he can.
But then Haddie fell silent and for the next excruciating few minutes Tenacius just watched. Is she still breathing? What if this antidote was yet another failure?
-- But it wasn’t! The Ravenclaw blond started to come around and he can tell that she was really starting to get better, the sickly shade of her visage started to fade into a healthy glow once again. He smiled at her with such genuine relief "You're ok. Thank Merlin." Hand to heart. "I'm just glad you're not dead."
Alas of the really really nice things she said to him during her malady. Did she really mean any of those sweet things or was it the deliriousness that was doing the talking? With her being fully in control of her faculties again, he may never know.

He made sure Mr. Reed was on his feet and steady before darting off to see to the other students in need. Miss. Darcy seemed to read his mind, jumping to the Peeves conclusion. Art nodded at her, "Yes, yes I believe that too." He scratched his chin. "I-I'll be having a w-word with the B- the B- the Bloody Baron after this." Great Scott he couldn't even talk right! A shriek came, and Art turned to see Miss. Valentine sobbing into her cauldron. "Errrrr," he said awkwardly, and reluctantly walking towards her. "Oh dear..." he muttered. "I-I can s-send that off to the err.. to the wand repairer. Un-unless err... Pr-Professor Primeaux mi-might be able to help w-with a ch-charm for it."
Miss Lynch, and Miss. O'Donnelly were offering to stay back to help clean up. Art did a 360 look around the room. It looked atrocious. "T-that that would be good," he said, with a nod. "T-thank you very much."
"O-Okay everyone," Art said, once a glance around the classroom showed that everyone was back to their... well close to their original state. Minus a few drentched lab coats, and vomit stains, and tear-stained cheeks. "I... c-class is-is-is over. Y-you m-may leave and-and..." he had nothing else to say. "G-goodbye everyone," he said rather sadly. He was sure Headmistress Moxley was to fire him. Right after he cleaned up his room, he was going to go to her office and confess. "If-if you feel any l-lingering side effects, I ur-urge you to-to see your H-healer, or... or you may come to me. I-I am a trained healer." He said the last bit rather shakily. Why would these students ever trust the old man again? The healer was sure to strangle him, he knew it.
OOC: That's a wrap! Thank you so much to all of you for coming and making this class so much fun!
If you haven't finished, you have about 6-20 hours until I will close the thread to finish your posts.
Class over? Class is over! Tenacius aint gonna lie, he was relieved that they were finally allowed to get out of the dungeons. He did enjoy the hard core class though, even when it got a little scary there for a moment.
"See you next time Professor." he replied back as he collected his things. Nope no goodbyes.
Yeah thats what crazy is, when its broken you say theres nothing to fix++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++And you pray that everything will be okay, while you're making all the same mistakes
After Colt felt his potion was done, he looked into his cauldron and saw it looked like the same as Ava's. He saw Ava was suffering with the same symptoms as he was. He was relieved that he finally finished it. After he added the mistletoe berries and saw there was no steps, he scooped up the potion into a vial and handed it to Ava. Then he heard the potion had been tampered with. He tilted his head and didn't believe it at first. Jesus bloody merlin. He didn't expect that!
He took the vial back from Ava and poured it back into his cauldron. He shrugged innocently and waited for the Professor to give them the antidote and take away the symptoms. He didn't wanna suffer with this anymore.
Haddie could barely look at Tenacius now that she was fully cured and sober. She was too embarrassed and humiliated by how she had been while under the effects of the poison. At the same time, she found it way too hard not to look at him. Not to try and judge based on his expressions just how bad it was. He probably thought she was the biggest loser on the planet now.
And then came sweet, sweet escape. The Potions Professor dismissed the class and Haddie quickly gathered up her things. "Thanks," she said softly. She'd already thanked him though, didn't she? "Again." Haddie stood there, awkwardly, her free hand fidgeting nervously at her side, for a long, vaguely uncomfortable moment. Her face was starting to turn a shade of red, or two. "And sorry." With that she turned and vanished instantly into the crowd of students leaving the classroom. She had never been more happy about her innate ability weave through a crowd at top speeds than she was now. She didn't say good-bye to the Professor or thank him for the class... Yeah, thanks for causing me to make an utter fool of myself in front of Tenacius... She just left.
He heard Ava being under stress from the potion. He rolled his eyes and thought she was being dramatic. He knew his potion was not going to work but the professor made them brew it anyways. He went up to the front to get the antidote and to get better. He couldn't even move because his joints were so sore. He limped over and took the antidote and took a swig and managed to swallow it without throwing up. Success. Now he should be feeling better in a few days time. Now time to clean his station. He said, "Scourgify!" and then his splashes of potion were cleaned. He felt like this lesson was a waste of time. He shouldn't have brewed that potion or even take the poison. He should have listened to his guts.
He packed up his things and waved the Professor goodbye. He thought this was a weird lesson. He looked over at Ava and went over to her and said, "Thanks for partnering with me. Sorry I snapped at you.."

He had to finish his potion. He had to get it done. He had to save Ilia. With those thoughts in mind, Carl wiped his cheeks clean and turned to the instructions on the board. Stir two times, clockwise. Clockwise ... that was starting from the top and going to the right and then to the bottom and then back to the top in a circle. He stuck his stirrer inside the cauldron and did this two times.
Then came the Mistletoe Berries. He added two into his cauldron, noting how many extra he had brought back from Professor Newton's table. Stirring again, this time counter-clockwise. His fear of doing it the wrong way was now gone!
The last step was easy. Leaving the potion to sit. "Just sit there and wait." He told his cauldron. See? Easy.
And was the potion supposed to be this shade of murky green?
