Welcome to your third and final duel!
This is a key stepping stone into determining your placement in the Jinx Tournament so please take this seriously. A list of spells to use can be found HERE while the cost of physical actions can be found below.
Please note that these actions take away from the Fatigue Points section. Also note that these are only taken into account if you're attacking or avoiding a spell. If you're simply moving around the hall, these points don't need to be considered.

A referee (either Professor Airey or Professor Hirsch) will be present to oversee the duels and will only interfere if the duel ends or any foul play or unsportsmanship-like behaviour is displayed.
Please remember to adhere to the Dueling Club rules, the DADA rules as well as the SS Site rules.

OOC: This duel must be completed by the 26th of March by 11:59pm GMT. You're required to make a minimum of 3 posts each in that time.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate in contacting me about them or posting them in the Dueling Club Rules thread. If you don't think you can post during that time or you don't think you can start/finish your duel, please let me know as soon as possible and we'll try and work something out.
Remember to keep a track of your points both in the title of your post (before any spells have been cast) and at the end of the post (after your charrie has cast a spell). Please refer to this post if you're confused as to how this works or, simply, come to me. Include as much information as you can about the spell in the spoiler section at the bottom of your post, including the directionality of the spell.
Also remember to be as realistic as possible with your charrie's age and ability.
First person mentioned in the thread title is the first person to start off the duel.

Unlike the previous duel, Ava wasn't as excited as usual. Accepting the fact that she had been losing twice against her housemate makes her down and desperate at the same time. She really wanted to quit and not to continue this duel again before. If she lost again in this duel... She didn't know if she had to continue again on her third year. She really wanted to give up. What would her mother say if she didn't win any of her duels in this term?
But thankfully she had so many supportive and helpful friends that cheered her up. The Head Girl found her hiding in the closet and told her that losing didn't mean that it was the end of everything, Henric had to smack her head with basket ball and Phillip also cheered her up, with his own way of course and all of them were right. She couldn't give up now. Well..... If she lost again today, maybe she need to consider if she should continue with the club or not.
She stood up in this arena with her complete dueling gear, facing her opponent Chloe Newman. She give a bow and start the duel with the disarming charm. And of course she didn't forget casting the feather-light charm to herself.

Chloe HATED Dueling Club. She wasn't going to mince words about it. The whole affair made her rather miserable and she wasn't good under this kind of pressure. Thus far the whole ordeal had made her anxiety spiked, ruined her makeup and caused her to make a fool out of herself in front of Hirsch. Twice. Count it. TWICE.
So she wasn't very optimistic going into this last round. To be completely honest she was rather annoyed. The blonde barely cared about winning. What mattered, truthfully, was that she didn't make a joke out of herself in front of Hirsch. That was the goal for today.
The Ravenclaw drew her wand and tried NOT to roll her eyes at how seriously some people were taking it. She failed. The whole shebang, complete outfit? Really? Ugh. Gryffindors took this so seriously.
She had a feeling they were going to start with being disarmed, Gryffindors loved that silly spell, and so Chloe took a step to her right. Avoiding it.
She didn't bother sending another spell the girl's way. She was just trying to survive this round, see?

Here's another unenthusiastic opponent! Seriously, what the heck was wrong with these kind of people? If this girl had really no desire of continuing the duel, just say it and step out from the arena. Believe it or not, Ava wasn't gonna continue this duel before because she had lost twice in the duel and give up. But sure it wasn't a Gryffindor thing.
The young lioness was annoyed when she noticed that Chloe didn't send any attack to her. Was that her strategy or she was gonna try to hold on and win this duel? That's not freaking fair! Maybe she needed to send a tickling charm to lighten up this girl's mood. "Rictusempra." And then transformed her opponent ears into kumquats.
This girl just wanted to have fun in this dueling club. Oh, and learning about some spells practically of course.

............. Was Chloe Newman not going to do anything? Because, well, this was a duel, at the end of the day. You have to fight for yourself so that one day, if you find yourself in that kind of situation, you'll have it so driven into your system through practice that you could get yourself out of that situation without being hurt.
And yet, this wasn't what he was seeing here.
The man couldn't help but wonder if the girl was okay or if she had simply just given up due to the amount of duels she'd taken part in this year. That could be a result in all of this. At least Ava hadn't given up in her battles, despite her previous losses. Hirsch admired that quite a bit since it showed just how determined she was to see this duelling season through.
When the time was up, the shield went up and he bounded over towards the two second years. "Well done, both of you. Though, I do have to say, I do hope everything's okay, Miss Newman, and that you haven't decided to give up." Concern. He was concerned. "And congratulations, Miss Burton. You've secured yourself a win in this round."
