Post 6 - Violetta Bulstrode - Handing in Paper Listening to Violetta speak and answer their questions once more, Olivia took note of a few facts especially what had to be given to what she had asked last. "Thank you, Ms. Bulstrode, for your help and your answers," the Ravenclaw said respectfully to the portrait. She might not be alive persay, but she had shown she did still have feelings so the Ravenclaw wasn't going to mess with her. Nope, instead she was going to write up the paragraph or so Professor Finch wanted them to put together for his perusal. Well write it up with Esme since they were working together. Olivia quietly took her leave and headed back to their table with her notes and took out a new piece of parchment. After taking a few moments to think of where to begin, the Ravenclaw proceeded to go on writing with her partner, the Hufflepuff eventually getting up and speaking while she handed in her own work. SPOILER!!: Report |
Writing/Reading/Handing her essay in With all her questions asked and then some there was nothing more for Hady to do here. Quietly thanking Violetta for supplying her with the answers to these questions and many more (from her peers near her) Hady returned to her desk. Sitting herself down she quietly went over all her notes that were written on her parchment. Pulling out a clean sheet of parchment, quill in hand all Hady began to go over all her notes to form and write up a nice essay. She had learned a fairly good amount from the older women and had no trouble at all putting all that information into her paragraphs. SPOILER!!: Essay Setting her quill down Hady read over her paper once and then yet again to make sure all was good. When she was sure everything was perfect she rose to her feet and read her essay to the class with a calm cool confidence and then quietly handed the paper in. Setting it on Professor Finch's desk. |
"Alright, that's good enough, thanks, ma'am!" Matt waved to the portrait and walked back to his table. He grabbed a quill and quickly scribbled down his 'essay.' Text Cut: Parchment Matt pretty much read out what he had written for the class, also not getting the Quidditch player's name right in his presentation, and finished off saying his own name as he wanted to be known by because yeah, ain't no teacher gonna stop him from being called that. "Cheers, bye!" The Gryffindor said as he placed his essay on his table and then rushed through the door. FREEEEE! HE WAS FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!! |
Alright, she thought that those question was enough to make an essay about this man. "Thank you so much, Mr. Elliot!" The young lioness said to the portrait. Now all she needed to do just... writing the essay. Sigh, she hated writing. Ava just kept silent, biting her quill until she had some sparks to write. Okay, let's do it now. SPOILER!!: parchment There. That's enough, wasn't it? She put her parchment on her table and left the class. "Bye, professor!" |
Ariadne glanced around, noticing that some people were leaving and some were still presenting. She wasn't quite sure what she was meant to do, but...if everybody left, who were the others supposed to present to? Ariadne decided she was going to STAY and play the role of AUDIENCE MEMBER to those still trying to present. She got REALLY into her role, too.She sat up nice and tall and turned her gaze in the direction of the next person speaking. She pretended she was a reporter and they were somebody famous giving out valuable information. When that person was finished, she clapped then turned her attention to the next person to speak. Being an audience member was FUN! She just needed a microphone or a nice Amplifying Charm! |
Ansley listened to a few more of the presentations before class would come to an end, applauding them before they handed in their papers. Students seemed to have gotten the basic gist of things, but some really missed what the people in the portrait were all about. It was a shame, especially when they had the opportunity to work with others to get the entire picture. And unfortunately for him, there was not enough time to go into greater detail. He supposed he'd have to make some corrections on their essays and grade them on how well they'd managed to complete the assignment, as some were rather incomplete. At least most of them had done well, which was good to see. But this class had been something of an eye-opener to him, as new classes tended to be - at least in terms of attitudes towards work habits and history. The opening feast should have given him the hint that he shouldn't have so easily brushed off. Perhaps Julien was right about changes that needed to be enforced, and Ansley certainly didn't have a problem with that. But class was over and he wasn't going to think about that for at least the time being. Overall, he thought things went rather well and was happy to see some eager learners. Quote:
"She is actually on loan from a painter friend of mine, but she can be hung up in the gallery next door, if you don't mind. And you can have five points for your helpfulness." Ansley headed for Artemesia's portrait as he'd take her to her spot in the gallery as well. |
Elliot Kegworth Colt was about to ask another question when he heard the class was coming to an end. Ah well he tried to ask five but it was a little much if you ask him. He began to go back to his desk, well his group and needed to write a paragraph on Elliot. What did he learn from Elliot. Well he didn't have a date for his ball that was for sure. He might have been a player. He nodded to everyone who was at his group and took out his quill and began to write. He wondered how he should start his paragraph. SPOILER!!: Paragraph about Elliot After he wrote his paragraph, he felt like he covered the basics. He put his quill back into his backpack and notebook and began to pack up. He slung his backpack over his shoulder and handed in his paragraph. "Thanks for the lesson. I actually enjoyed it. See you around." With that said he was off to his next lesson. |
