The official home of the Lions, the Gryffindor common room, is found on the seventh floor of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The entrance to the common room is the portrait of the delightful Fat Lady. In order to gain entrance to your home away from home, Lions must know the password and speak it to her - assuming she isn't forcing you to listen to her sing of key that is.
This term's password is 'kulda tuure'.
Be sure to remember those words. Keep them secret, keep them safe. Without them the Fat Lady won't swing away from the hole and allow you to enter Gryffindor Tower and you'll be stuck picking your nose while waiting for a housemate to let you in. Once you're lucky enough to scramble through, you'll find yourself in the central common room (a perfectly circular area full of squashy armchairs, fluffy beanbag chairs, and tables, now referred to as the 'Lions' Den'. The large circular space has two adjacent rooms, the reading room and the game lounge, equipped with the resources and materials required to complete any homework assignments and distract oneself from doing any homework at all. Fixed to the wall by the windows you will find the pasteboard for classes and other school announcements.
The windows, wedged between falling tapestries and portraits of Heads of House past, look out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace takes up a large section of the wall near the entrance to the common room. It's the perfect place to relax and hang out after a long day of classes. If however you are in need of a nap a good night's rest then there are two doors leading off from the common room that open to spiral staircases. Boys' dormitories are upstairs and to the right above the reading room, while girls' dormitories are upstairs and to the left above the game lounge. Be sure you don’t go breaking any of the rules by attempting to go up the wrong staircases. Boys don’t stand a chance of beating the enchanted staircase, and frankly girls should know better.
For whatever reason you're here, make sure you take good care of your home away from home. There's bound to be a perfect or your Head of House lurking in the shadows making sure you stay out of trouble...or ready to join in on whatever mischief you may be up to. This is Hogwarts after all. Anything can happen!

Tell him to check yes or no if he wants to go out on a date with you." Because that would be cute Hope wished she could help Noelle. There just wasn't a way she could. Or not a way she could see. She was only 12. She didn't know anything about love. "Maybe some time down the road you will be able to be together. you never know." She shrugged and gave her cousin a hug. "It's ok though because I will always be here for you! No matter what! I am sure that you and him will be friends forever!"
When Noelle started talking about snogging, Hope blushed. She knew a little about kissing. One kiss from Jose and then she kissed Spencer. She knew a little. There was so much difference between the two! She laughed as her cousin joked. It felt good to joke with her again. "Ah is he a good kisser? OOOO! I bet he is!!" She giggled as she teased her cousin. "That's a good idea! Maybe I can make him something. That would be cool. I never had a real Valentine's before. Only daddy or Chris. And they don't count." Hope started to ponder about Valentine's Day. but she was a procrastinator. That could always wait.

Noelle grabbed another s'more and put it on the poker as Hope spoke. She put it in the fire and watched it turn a nice golden brown color before starting to burn. "Yeah maybe. We will see." Noelle said absentmindedly. She didn't see how she could date someone that was steady promised to another.
Noelle pulled the marshmallow out of the fire and blew the flame out that was on it. It was now a nice toasty black color. She bit into it. She blushed as Hope teased her. "Shhh don't judge! You've kissed José and you have a boyfriend! I've never had a boyfriend! Have you and Spencer kissed yet?"
Hope and Spencer's relationship felt new to Noelle but hat was only because she hadn't been here to talk and see the two interact. "I will be studying for Valentines day. " Noelle said matter of factly. She had no plans to do anything else. She was already behind as it was.

And I kissed José once and it was before I met spencer! " Hope was about as red as a valentines day heart. She didn't want prying ears thinking she had kissed another guy while she was dating spence. That would not be good.
Hope eyed Noelle's marshmallow and right before she put it in her mouth Hope stole it. Laughing, she put it in her mouth. Mmm burnt. Just like she liked them! She then put one in her own stick n roasted it. Making it burnt. She then handed it to Noelle. "You can hang out with spence and I if you want. Or maybe Sabbath can help you study." She knew Noelle was hiding behind her studies as a way to avoid certain things. It wasn't going to help. She needed to talk to sabbath.
Noelle had showed her how to do the message thing earlier so she excused herself and said she had to use the bathroom. Where she really went was her room. She wrote Sabbath a note telling him that he and Noelle needed to talk. And signed it. Folding it up, she said the spell and off it went.

Noelle side eyed Hope as she said she only kissed Jose once. She didn't believe that one little bit. She saw how Jose was looking at her cousin. And those gypsy boys were hard to say no to. "Only once?" Noelle teased and giggled at Hope as she blushed saying she didn't kiss Jose while going out with Spencer.
Then she stole her marshmallow. Did Hope not know that Noelle was a very picky eater as of late and that marshmallow had been turned and burned to the exact way she wanted to eat it? Noelle's mouth dropped and she stared at her while she roasted another marshmallow and gave it to her. One thing needed to be said. "Rude."
But then she grinned and took a bite of the marshmallow.
Ugh. Hope. Her overprotective cousin. "Ill be fine some for Valentine's Day. I had a valentine last year. Actually two. Sabbie and Noah. This year, I don't need one. I just need my books and charms." Noelle didn't need a boy. She was quite happy to be by herself.

Noelle wouldn't have to worry about finding someone else because she was swearing off boys completely. She wanted no part in the hormones of boys and that was that.
"Hows classes going by the way? Are you learning things? Have you learned any spells outside of class?" Because that was what really mattered. Not boys. "I have a few friends showing me spells and helping me learn." Of course most of them were boys but she wouldn't get into that. She didn't like them like that.
"Do you wanna try some spells ?? Practice a bit?" Noelle was always up for practicing. It didn't matter. She had never get vulnerable until she found herself in the dungeon and couldn't get herself out of it. She didn't like the feeling.

Alice sat in the Common Room and was reading through, well skimming through three books at once. Diaval, her Raven on her shoulder as she poured though them. Honestly she just wanted to come up with some kind of treats for him. "I'm thinking Berries.. what do you think, Pretty Bird?" She asked and got a squawk in response which always made her smile. She ADORED her pet.
It helped that it made her feel like her favorite sorceress. She always felt happier and more confident when he was around.

While he was in the midst of pouring over his Transfiguration text book, someone not only burst loudly into the common room, but did so while singing some weird, old song. The worst part about it was that Sam recognized that voice.
He stared at Genny for a sec, then quickly turned a little more than he had to in order to get his whole back to face her. Yes, maybe she wouldn't spot him. She was caught up in that stupid song, anyway.
