A medieval wizard, Gregory the Smarmy invented Gregory's Unctuous Unction, a potion that makes the drinker think whomever gave the potion is his or her best friend. Gregory allegedly wormed his way into King Richard's confidence with this potion and thus made his fortune.

Behind his chipped statue used to be a secret passageway outside the school, which was found by Fred and George Weasley during their first week of school and which caved in during the Battle of Hogwarts. The statue has since been used as a landmark on the fifth floor corridor.

Kitty was still confused but she nodded anyway. "Aside form my dad I don't really know very many muggles. But when this term is over and I'm back at home my mom told me that a muggle family moved next door and she thinks I could make friends with some of them. They sound cool but I can't imagine being able to keep a secret like my identity if I got to know them well." She sighed.

Abby nodded and said "Yeah i know where your coming from Kitty and i do feel for you it is hard to keep your magic background secret, i always find it tough when i get home from school for the holidays"

Kitty felt she could really relate with Abby. "We should write to each other over the holidays. I don't know have an owl but my mom has five. I mean if you want to that is." She never had a pen pal before.

Abby smiled and said "Yeah i would love to write to you over the holidays Kitty cause it would be great to keep in touch with you outside of school"
