The front of the train is the perfect seat for those eager to see, be seen, and get to school FIRST. Avoid the Prefects' Compartment, unless you're looking for trouble, but there is plenty of seating available in these compartments.
The train was here...the train was here to take them to Hogwarts...
This was the big day...this was Jay's start of seven years learning magic...something she thought had only occurred in books, movies, video games, and TV shows. Breathing it all in, it came to a shock to her that she was the first one on this part of the train. Well, that meant she would get first dibs on where she wanted to sit. That was always a plus. Making sure she had everything she needed, the brunette found a compartment to sit in. It was in the very front of the train. Jay wanted to be one of the first people to see the school.
Henric was going to visit the prefect's compartment now. He was quite excited to meet the new and the current prefects this term. He wondered who would be the new Head Boy and Head Girl managing them too. Honestly, this was all so cool. He never thought he could make it this far, but here he was now!

Olivia had managed not to make a fool of herself once she was separated from her parents. You can do this...she told herself as she followed others in the depositing of her trunk in the luggage compartment, freeing her of its weight so she could explore further. Her cat was in her arms after nearly being trampled under the foot of others, the first year in turn managing to slip through the crowds with her own slim form.
She had wandered down the train corridor for a bit, looking around with curious eyes before surprisingly finding herself way towards the front of the train. It appeared to be both large and small at the same time. It was then she wondered just where she should find a perch for surely she wasn't going to walk around the whole trip towards Hogwarts. But where to?

The small (though not as small as last term!) Blonde muscled her way through the trains corridor trying to find an empty compartment... or to sneak a peek at the Prefect car.... WHATEVER...
Heh.
A small smile stretched her lips when she spotted Henric and his BADGE! This was exciting stuff for her friend and maybe Dora too! Speeding up a bit she launched herself at Henric for HUGS! "CONGRATULATIONS HENRIC!! "

Whaa-?! Henric was suddenly enveloped in a tight hug by none other than the little- or not so little Dora! "Merlin! What got you so hyper today?!" he laughed and hugged her back with equally amount of squishing. "Thank you! Wow, look at you, you've grown tall. Last time I saw you, you were this little baby pipsqueak." He teased playfully, pinching her cheeks. MWAHAHAA.

Jasper didn't have a clue where he was going.
He had boarded hopefully the right train, and was now looking around. There were a lot of empty compartments, and he almost considered grabbing one of those but he wasn't sure that he wanted to be alone on this trip.
On his first trip to the school where he would be going to learn magic! Not to mention, a school on the other side of the world from his home.
The Australian boy noticed a girl sitting by herself in a compartment up the front and paused for a moment. Tilting his head to the side he hesitated for a moment, before figuring she had to be about his age.
He knocked on the side of the compartment quietly, before offering the girl a shy smile. "Uh... do you mind if I sit with you?"

Ryland was in the midlde of taking everything about this new world in. They ran through a wall, they were getting on a train and all of these people were going to the same magical school! She was learning magic! The brunette liked to believe she was special, but not THAT special. This was like movie magic or something, the kind of things that her bored aunt would write awful stories about.
There were only two problems. One was the fact that she never had been on a train before and two was the fact that she was missing her favorite person to talk too. All the pink clad girl wanted to do was jabber into her sister's ear about how cool this all was! And all morning she had been MIA. Mom would kill her if she managed to lose her sister before the school year started, and unless she vanished off of the face of the Earth, she had to be around here somewhere. It was like a twin investigation. A twinvestigation!
Turning to look for an empty compartment, she noticed a girl that looked suspiciously like her. Ryland could have literally screamed, and if weren't in public, she might have. It was Jay! The twinvestigation had come to a close, and with her powers of looking, the blue eyed girl had found her sister! Ryland giggled excitedly before throwing open the door to the compartment, smiling widely.
"Jaaaay! I finally found you!" Okay, so maybe she was a bit excigted. However, this was the greatest moment of their lives, and she wanted to share it with someone she had been forced to share the rest of her life with. Dropping her pink suitcase onto the floor, she pulled her black cardigan closer across her chest and looked her sister up and down. The poor thing still lacked a sense of style. However, Ryland wasn't one to judge, and pushing wisps of lost hairs from her braid crown behind her ear, she closed the compartment door for a minute.
"Where have you been, silly? I missed you all morning!"

He MADE it!
Up and away from his parents. At first it had seemed as if his dad wasn't going to let him go, which Cornelius thought was silly with how much they argued. Then his mum hugged him and it was as if she'd been glued to him. She kissed his cheek--leaving behind red lipstick marks on his cheek--and fixed his hair and robes a millions of times.
He was only able to break away when Peyton cooed at him as if he was a baby AND called him a baby, his mum had no other option but to let him go.
Thank. Merlin.
Making his way further into the train now, making sure to stray away from the exit as much as he could in case his parents decided to bust in here, Cornelius peeked into random compartments. He wasn't paying attention, like always. And that is why he bumped into a blonde girl with a cat.

Emphasis was on the I part of that sentence. "Where have YOU been?! I was worried sick that you would miss the train!!!" A breath was needed before the blue eyed British girl went on. "I have a lot to explain!"
Taking a seat again, she glanced back over at the other boy and gasped "Where are my manners? I forgot to ask you your name. I'm Jay, and this is my twin Rylend." Her smile now increased ear to ear.

PFFFT! She actually wasn't hyper for once! Not like usual anyway. Stepping back a bit she smoothed down the front of her clothes and gave him a GLARE!
1. She was NEVER a pipsqueak!
2. WHY WAS HE TOUCHING HER FACE?
3.Now he had to PAY!
Prefect or not, Dora aimed a STOMP at his toes at the cheek pinching. "Henric! I am not some ice firstie to be toyed with, " she said in a warning tone! For the love of MERLIN didn't he know better than to goad her?

Jasper couldn't help but smile at the soft reply. Someone other than him was a little bit shy as well it seemed.
"Thanks," he answered, taking a seat across from her. At that moment the compartment door had been flung open and his own eyes had widened at the entrance of another girl. Who looked exactly like the one who was already here.
Twins?
Probably.
He really wasn't sure what he was meant to do though as he watched them interact, so he just decided to sit quietly and assumed at some point the new twin would notice him. Or the old twin would remember he was there.
At that moments the first twin he met did turn to him and introduced the both of them! That was helpful. Now he had to work on telling them apart for later. For now, they weren't wearing the same clothes so it was alright.
"My names Jasper," he introduced with a smile. "It's nice to meet you... both."

And now... summer had officially over.
But it did mean she's officially a second year! Yeah, no more little Ava the ickle firstie or something like that. She's a GROWN UP, hehehe. Second year, here she comes!!! And it's gonna be a great term for her, she was 200% sure of that.
Wandering around the train with Preston in her hand, the young lioness decided to sit at the front cars. "Come on, Preston." She said to her precious Russian blue cat once she slid the compartment door. Lucky that she could find an empty one since the train seemed very full and crowded. But speaking of, where's Teddy? Merlin, hopefully he didn't miss the train.

"Where have I been? I've been on the platform looking for you! I was afraid you vanished forever and I was going to be stuck being one half of an incomplete set!" Ryland thrust her bottom lip out into a pout to really showcase how sad this was. You got like no money for them online! She would know, their creepy uncle sold old collectors sets, and they had to sit through more than one holiday dinner where he wouldn't stop talking. Not to mention the fact that Jay got her through more gym classes than she could count on both hands. And the fact that they were basically the dream team of their school. It was like splitting up a movie and its sequal. You just didn't do it! Upon hearing Jay's other remark, the brunette threw a hand over her heart, as if her doppleganger had personally offended her.
"Me, miss all of this? Not on my life! Not on my really cute pink nail polish that mom got me for my eleventh birthday!" Honestly, she would've stopped the train herself if it came to this in order to find her twin. She would've put out a special alarm and gotten everyone to join in on a twinvestigation. Like everyone at the station everyone. She would've called mom and had her come down to the station if it was what it took. What? Ryland had seperation issues. Some people were allergic to bread, she was allergic to being away from her sister.
It wasn't until he was introduced that she noticed the boy in the compartment at all. Ohmygosh, humiliation! How did she miss this? He must've felt so awkward! Especially after she came in here, excitement blazing like a slightly tall an very pink sun. Speaking of, her new gladiator sandals were so cute and honestly, she was sad she couldn't wear it as part of the uniform. What did this school have against fashion?
"Hi, Jasper! Nice to meet you too! I'm so sorry, I can't believe I missed you sitting here!" She let out a giggle, her body shaking gently with the movements. It WAS kind of funny, if not a bit rude. He just sat there too! He should've said something when she ran in here, blazing with energy and braid crown attempting to rebel against the million bobby pins she stuck in her hair. Owwwww! One was in the process of stabbing her skull out and digging it's way into her brain! Rude!
"Is this your first time going to Hogwarts too? " Reaching behind her, she worked on moving the bobby pin while talking, trying to carry on a conversation while a tiny metal thing tried to impale her like some kind of foregin dictator who just won a war.

He brought muggle packet sweets and lollipops for all his friends. "I was going to give you one,you know! Why you have to be so mean to me, Dora." He pouted.

Uh oooohhhh!
Olivia really needed to learn not to get distracted, or at least focus on only one direction at any one time. For as soon as she did, she was usually bumping into something, or someone, or they were bumping into her. This time was from behind, not face to face as she and the older boy Zeke had managed at Flourish and Blotts over the summer.
She stumbled, and Locklyn was lightly digging her claws into her mistress to insure she didn't fall. On feet...or no. "Easy there..." she tried to assure her familair before turning to look at her attacker. One curly-haired boy who didn't seem all that old. "Sorry I wasn't moving fast enough..."

And Jasper had found the way to tell them apart.
The new one, Ryland was incredibly loud compared to her sister Rey.
He really didn't know what he was meant to do but he forced a smile as his hand moved to scratch the back of his neck.
"It's fine... you... well... you were busy catching up..." he managed to get out awkwardly, though her offered her a smile at the end of that. He felt like withdrawing even further with how loud she was.
"Yeah it's also my first time," he beamed. Now that was one way to get him to perk up a bit more. He was really excited about going to Hogwarts. Finally!!!! Waiting after that owl had taken sooooo long. Besides, he was in England. Besides the cold weather, that was exciting considering he'd never even left Australia! "Do you guys know much about Hogwarts?"
Uh oh. He did it this time. Dora was staring daggers at him. Oops. OUCH! Dora stomped his foot! Henric frowned at her,"Bloody h-...*coughs* why did you have to do that for? "You called me a pipsqueak and pinched my cheeks... very well deserving of a foot stomp in my opinion." HMPH! And no she wasn't sorry... she even crossed her arms across her chest and pouted right back at him actually.
He had candy though... SIGHS. She was torn now. "I think it is mean to embarrass me, Henric. " She may have forced her lip to wibble a bit as she spoke and turned sad eyes up at him.
Clutching her huge bag Ursula had been hanging around the platform unnoticed. Now that the train was loading she slipped on the front of the train. The smell of children was strong and she could see them all very excited loading and finding their friends.
The hag moved about the front of the train gliding past a few students and watching them. "Hello dearies" she grinned too big for her face towards them.
For the next seven terms this would be the ride that he would be getting to Hogwarts. This is also the same train that his father, grandmother and godparents uncles and aunts had gone on when they were going to Hogwarts. Brady looked around with a big grin on his face. He wonder what compartment that all of them had sat in.
The eleven year old looked around and found an empty compartment for him to sit in. Bradson had to save his seat for his bestest friend ever, Kat. The boy looked around for her. Where was she? Where had she gone since she had been on the platform.

As Brady sat down, he looked out the window, it still wasn't time for them to go yet. He was so excited about going to Hogwarts. This was going to be the greatest thing ever...well besides being a rockstar. Bradson kept the door open just in case Kat was looking for him because he lost her. He looked out the doorway when he had heard a voice. Brady peeked his head out the doorway and grinned. "Hello! Would you like to sit in here, miss?" The Scottish boy asked the old woman.

Stopping she looked at the young boy that just spoke to her. "You have many omens around you, did you know?" Pointing her very long finger towards him, "You need to be very careful this year."
A cackle left her throat as she continued to walk down the corridor.

Rachel wanted to explore as much of the Hogwarts Express as she could and from the length of the journey, she knew she had an ample amount of time. She made her way down to the front of the train after leaving her friends back in their compartment. She had some others she had to find as well plus she hoped to meet some new persons.
With her plaits bouncing against her shoulders, she continued as her keen eyes scanned compartments as she passed them. Hmm, where were some of those she had met over the summer?

With her plaits bouncing against her shoulders, she continued as her keen eyes scanned compartments as she passed them. Hmm, where were some of those she had met over the summer?
Azura bit her lip a little as she gently touched her nose.. So far it was holding up! But it was still painful! Goodness, that was the last time she let anything distract her! She was slowly walking down the train, looking for somewhere to sit, everywhere else was sort of taken and she wasn't one to just barge right into a compartment.. So she kept up her search!
She spotted another girl coming her way and she moved over to the side with a small smile, intent to not stop the other girl. She pushed her black hair to the side and her purple eyes watched the other girl for just a moment as she held onto a railing so she would fall as the girl passed her!
Much as he had at the station, Jay needed to explore as much as humanly possible of this train in the short amount of time that he had. It was this that brought him to the front cars, to see what was up here... but there were a great many people up here, moreso than had been in the first car he'd walked through. Why were they all up here? Did they think that the back of the train wouldn't get to the school quickly enough? Maybe they were afraid it would come uncoupled and they'd be left behind.
He wasn't sure. The small boy pushed his hat down on his head and absently patted the hedgehog asleep in his hands as he moved toward the front more...
Until he saw the woman. He stopped a few feet short of her, a slight frown wrinkling his nose, and stared for a good long moment, because when one is eleven one has not quite developed social tact in its entirety. She... did not look like she was supposed to be here. Nu-uh. Seventh years were old, for sure, but they were not this old. He knew that for certain.
He took a few steps backwards, still squinting at her, an inexplicable urge to put space between himself and her not quite overriding his need to look at her to try and decipher why she was on the train.
Only because she was so adorable and her cheeks were so pinch-able. Hehehe. But he didn't deserve the foot stomping in HIS opinion! That was totally uncalled for. It still hurt. *whimpers* "I'm going to let this matter slide cos' I'm too excited to be back on this train. But I'll not be too forgiving the next time, Dora. And, I wasn't embarrassing you Dora! I'm just really happy to see you again, you know that right! Here, do you want one?"he cooed upon seeing her sad-puppy looking eyes. Aww...he held up the sweet packets to her. "Come on...I know you want some, take as many as you like. Don't forget to share,"he smiled.
He paused. There was an old woman walking up towards a young student who was cowering back before her. Odd. "Hey! Are you lost lad-?"he frowned but stopped himself when he got a good view of the lady's face. He winced at the horrifying sight. Merlin...she was sure ugly to look at.
