| H:400 m:400 f: 25 Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Gracie was excited for her second duel. She was still kind of gutted about losing the first duel, but it had just made her more determined to win the second one. She could do this. She was supposed to be good at duelling. She wanted to be an auror. So she needed to try and win this duel. She didn't know why she'd ended up against the head girl. First the head boy. Now the head girl. Talk about putting her up against the authority figures. But she could do this.
Gracie smiled at Tia, as she bowed and then took the correct duelling stance. Then she got herself ready for the duel. She needed to concentrate so that she could do that. Pointing her wand, she sent a non-verbal Incarcerous. Trying to be as fast she could she sent a verval, Ventus. Grace grinned a little as took a breath, before sending a final non-verbal Langlock

| H: 400, m: 400, f: 25 YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers It was time for her second duel and Tia had mixed feelings over this one. She knew of Grace, in that the girl was a fellow seventh year witch and best friend to one of her roommates. But none of that would help the head girl in determining what kind of dueler the girl was. The girl was a Slytherin though and if Dmitriy had shown a sense of being sneaky as a Ravenclaw, who knew what a cunning Snake could be capable of.
Bowing, but not taking her eyes off of her opponent - with good reason because she would have missed the wand motion - Tia made a dive to the right away from where Grace was pointing. She didn't know what the girl cast, non-verbals, huh? Was that how she wanted to play? But she wasn't sure she wanted to either. But she might have been lucky to avoid that one, however, the following spell she felt herself being forced strongly to the back wall of the dueling area. And if that wasn't enough, a second later, she was tongue-tied. Evil. Because she couldn't talk, she did the only reasonable thing and cast a non-verbal finite, followed by casting the Disillusionment Charm on herself, because it was super clever. Now for defense.
Keeping with her non-verbal trend to avoid revealing herself too soon, she cast an "Avis," followed swiftly by an "Oppugno".

| H:400 m:303 f:25 Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Okay. Grace was enjoying this. She liked duelling. It was why she wanted to be an auror so much. But she couldn't get distracted. Being distracted would lead to her losing. And she couldn't lose. She had already lost the first duel. She needed to start winning or she'd get no where in the duelling table.
She frowned a little as Tia ducked to the side. Ugh. That was annoying. But moving on. She frowned a little more as she noticed Tia using a disappearing. Shaking her head she quickly shouted "Protego" so that she could shield herself from any spells why she thought about what to do next. She frowned a little too, noticing the birds now attempting to attack her, but struggling to get past her shield. She quickly cast a verbal Finite at the birds to get rid of them.
She still couldn't see where Tia was, which made her think and she then cast the Disillusionment Charm on herself verbally, before taking a side step . Find her now Tia. She thought. Smirking, she then sent a non-verbal Ears to Kumquats in Tia's direction.

| H: 385 m: 219 f: 15 YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Okay. This duel wasn't cool anymore and in some light, Tia much preferred her duels against her housemate and student leader partner. This duel was like a girl fight, which girls fights, in Tia's mind weren't as fun or interesting as one made them out to be. Though it was interesting that they were both being silent and now invisible. The seventh year considered a moment casting Finite Incantatem and ending the camouflage fun, but decided against it. There were ways to duel without seeing. Or hearing apparently, as she reached up and felt the small fruits in place of ears. Something that Grace didn't have the pleasure of seeing, but Tia knew it worked because she couldn't hear a thing. She had only her sense of smell and sight to rely on; and sight only went so far, since she could no longer see Grace.
She had to catch her off guard; which being camouflaged herself was enough to do. The seventh year cast subsequent charms, knowing full well they should catch even the most conscientious off-guard: first a Flipendo Duo, followed by the Conjunctivitis Curse, followed by a Lumos Duo beam. If this all failed, then either Grace was a superhuman or she was just downright awful.

| H:400 m:199 f:20 Vanessa the Snot Girl l Rachels Rule | rock, tumble,&roll ❆ adorable coffee bean Grace was actually really enjoying this duel. She loved duelling. It was part of the reason why defense against the dark arts was one of her most favorite subjects. She was really looking forward to becoming an auror. It was going to be good. Dangerous but good.
She felt good with being invisible. Although Tia was also invisible. So it made spells hard, but she kind of hoped that they would both get rid of the invisible soon. It made things interesting, but it was kind of an easy defense move.
She moved around, trying to be quiet, and hopefully avoiding some of Tia's spells. The girl cursed though as her eyes suddenly started hurting. Then she knew she'd gotten caught by one of Tia's spell. "Finite" She murmured, to stop the spell. Then she cast "Protego" To get a shield up. This was to prevent any other spells.
Now she needed to send some spells back Tia's way. She had no idea where she was, so Gracie just sent a verbal Tarantallegra followed by another verbal Cantis and hoping at least one of them was targeted at Tia

| urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse It seemed as though the older students were very good at using the Disillusionment Charm to their advantage, along with non-verbals.
And this is was exactly what Hirsch liked to see.
He was practically giddy as he watched the disillusionment act take place followed by sparks and beams of light that almost seemed to come out of nowhere. There was a lot of advanced magic in the air and the man couldn't be prouder. It was as if he was watching one of his favourite shows all over again. Could he let this duel continue? Just forget about that time limit?
Apparently not.
When the time was up, Hirsch, sadly, put up the magical barrier between the two. Sorry ladies, time was up. He moved forwards and took away the lasting effects of the spells that had been cast. "That was some very impressive magic. From both of you. Well done!" Really, he was impressed. "But since there can only be one winner.......... congratulations, Miss Paton, on taking the lead. And well done on putting up a good fight, Miss Mancini." Stats: Grace Paton: 72.75% TiaMarie Mancini: 63.67%
