| 350 ; 360 ; 30 Dragon Geisha/Toni-Toni Chopper/Master of Chocobos Alpha Goddess/ Darth Devious /Davvy's twinneh It was time, the second duel of the club was at hand. This time her nerves weren't on edge though. This time she exuded a calm demeanor as she walked up to the dueling platform. This time, it wasn't her boyfriend...... This time, she meant business. Her all black dueling clothes and tightly bound bun streamlined her. Her stoic expression leaving little of her usual charm, the ice blue orbs called her eyes stared straight ahead. Manners however, were very much intact as she gave her opponent a bow. " May the best dueler win." |

| h: 350 / m: 350 / f: 25 Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button He was a little on edge, because he had some beef with this one, okay? Since Ilia skirting around his spells and watching him get thwarted by second years during the first club meeting was indeed embarrassing enough, Dima planned to not let her wipe the floor with him as she'd done to her boyfriend. He might not win, but if he lost, he certainly wanted it to be a close draw. "Indeed. Good luck." After bowing and taking the correct number of steps away, he turned with his wand raised. If she wasn't going to cast first...
Well. Make the most of the opportunities, no?
He immediately performed a Disillusionment Charm on himself, guessing it was the best way to keep away from her spells. Immediately after, Dmitriy began moving around so he could avoid letting her know where he was. Invisibility helped, no? When he'd chosen a new position, the sixth year shot a Stinging Hex her way.

| 350 ; 360 ; 30 Dragon Geisha/Toni-Toni Chopper/Master of Chocobos Alpha Goddess/ Darth Devious /Davvy's twinneh After this one trying to single her out in their first meeting, she hoped for a bit of a fight at least. Time for an experiment. If you give an opponent the first move.....what will he do with it? She cast Protego upon herself, strong enough to deflect something. Just in case because, well never leave yourself open. Constant vigilance after all, but...what will he do?
Disillusionment. That was actually a pretty good opening move. One thing about it though.....she knew the counter move. "Come out, come out, wherever you are...." Her expression never shifted from the cold calm she started the match with. Mustering her intention with clear focus, she used the proper wand motions and spoke the words with force."Homenum Revelio"
Then she felt something bounce off of her shield, good thing she had set it....who knows what he was trying to sneak in on her. It was a fun start so far, but if she could end it she would. Now it was time to see if she could just incapacitate him. "Silencio" She spoke the words quietly, but with no less intent or power. If he knew the motion well enough, he would know what was coming. What will you do with that? |

| h: 350 / m: 293 / f: 25 Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button He leaped out of the way to dodge the first hex that deflected off her shield, still invisible (Merlin, when had she even found the time to put that up? Slytherins were sneaky), but the next one wasn't one from which he could jump away. The Human Presence Revealing Spell had a range, and he was too close to Ilia to not be affected by the spell... so Dima was forced to throw up a shield to block it from reaching him. "Protego!"
And he'd said that loudly, hadn't he? He was disillusioned as of now, but his voice would no doubt give a smart one like his opponent a clue to where he was. To avoid discovery, Dima immediately went on the move again. He wasn't even aware that she'd cast another spell, but his constant running kept him from being hit.
The sixth year was a little worried about giving up his position again, but since this was a duel, he had to do something.
Maybe second tries were the charm? With that thought in mind, he shot another Stinging Hex at her.

| 350; 295; 30 Dragon Geisha/Toni-Toni Chopper/Master of Chocobos Alpha Goddess/ Darth Devious /Davvy's twinneh Her spell scared him hmm? Shielding himself from it, not bad. She had heard him though. Her spell wasn't likely to have connected....but footfalls were revealing if you knew how to listen. Chasing him was going to be fun.
First thing though, this guy seemed to like repeating himself.....so she tossed up a "Protego" to protect herself. No sense in letting him get something in on her when she couldn't see him. She cast "Aguamenti" in his general direction, not expecting a direct hit but that would be good too. Something bounced off of her shield and it amused her. There may have been a ballerina twirl as she sprayed a fountain of water from her wand......just maybe. Hopefully he didn't mind it wet, although....she really didn't care if he did.
Ilia didn't feel like continuously aiming revealing spells at him and getting blocked...that was no fun. If he wanted to be invisible , fine....but she could play that game too. Try this on for size boy..... She cast a bedazzling hex upon herself. He couldn't see the smirk, but oh it was there.....
This was going to be a fun game.....just no one could see the action. Ghost dueling in a sense. The funny thing was, if he wanted to reveal her he would have to reveal himself with the same spell.......now what were you going to do Sir? |

| h: 350 / m: 276 / f: 25 Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button Thank Merlin for his disillusioned state. Ilia's aim was so good even when Dima was under a chameleon charm... he didn't even want to think about what he'd be going through if she could see him. That would have been a cat-chasing-mouse duel, surely: over in a second.
The water-making spell didn't hit him, but it came far too close to doing so. He needed a little more oomph behind his speedy dodging of his opponents attacks, so perhaps it was time to put some of his cousin's advice to the test? Quietly, so as not to be detected, the sixth year cast a quick Feather-light Charm on himself— that had to do the trick. Shoutout to Charlotte Kettleburn.
But while he'd been doing that, Ilia had been busy, too. When Dmitriy glanced up again, he... couldn't see her?
Great. Just great. His OWN tricks were being used against him now. Slytherins.
He wasn't going to let her go so easily, though. After a moment of quick thinking, Dima raised his wand and murmured, "Lumos Duo." The beam of light appeared intense and bright, and he began swinging it around the room in search of the sneaky snakette.
It would have to hit her sometime, right?

| 350; 230; 30 Dragon Geisha/Toni-Toni Chopper/Master of Chocobos Alpha Goddess/ Darth Devious /Davvy's twinneh This one had a brain.....at least you know a little. She couldn't 'see' him, but while she hadn't hit him with the water....she had actually done it for another reason. It was working too. Feet, when walking on anything but a hard surface left prints.....
Now, it was a game. She had worn soft shoes and knew how to walk silently....she was curious. Had she perfected herself to the point that she could walk behind her invisible opponent and have him not detect her? Oh she was going to try. Following the footprints and barely audible splashes from the water, she was pretty sure that she had him. This had her blood pumping! Stalking an invisible opponent was not what she expected she would be doing but it certainly put some thrill into the duel.
He had another stroke of brilliance it seemed......she heard what he was going to cast and crouched where she presumed was behind him as the beam of light began scanning the arena. This was getting dangerous! Why did that make her happy? |

| h: 350 / m: 251 / f: 35 Dani's Citrus Duck Spawn | Mama Giraffe | Lemon PATch | Pushed the Red Button He finally let the beam of light fade, as it wasn't hitting anything.... where could she possibly be? Dima had run it around everything, even the corners of the room, and it had been a wide-reaching, intense spell. The sixth year was feeling a bit disheartened before he realized it.
She was a Slytherin. Of course he knew where she'd be hiding. Or, he thought he knew.
Treading lightly on the sheen of water, he whipped around and stared at the area behind him, wand at the ready.
Was that her? Was she going to do something? Dima could be patient, he could.

| 250; 230 ; 30 Dragon Geisha/Toni-Toni Chopper/Master of Chocobos Alpha Goddess/ Darth Devious /Davvy's twinneh Now it was time, do or die.......well...lose. She was mostly having fun......but now she was sure he was in perfect position. She could tell where he was standing and with his light dimmed she was sure he had figured it out. Here went all or nothing......thank.you for the advanced training father.
Making sure that her only movement was he'd wand, she non verbally cast Petrificus Totalus with all her might. As far as she could estimate , she would hit Jim square in the chest.... Everything rode on this one move. [/QUOTE]

| urine trouble | Pat's Strong Confident Other Half | Pees Like a Champion Unicorn Racehorse ................ Oh Merlin!
Oh Merlin!
By pairing these two up together, he knew that he was in for a good duel and boy, was he not disappointed. The man was smiling wide as he watched the duel commence. His own heart was pumping, he couldn't even imagine how the duelers must be feeling. All that fire, all that energy. After all, the best way to learn defence and dueling was when you're paired up with someone just as goof as you. Someone who challenges you.
In short, this duel made the man very happy. Especially since they're both invisible.
Ah, duel over. Shame.
The shield went up, making the Petrificus Totalus dissolve into it before it could hit the Ravenclaw. You're welcome, Mr Toussaint. Stepping onto the scene, he gave his wand a flick, making any and all effects still in place to disappear. "I have to say, Miss Valke and Mr Toussaint, that was a very smart duel. Very smart indeed. Well done! I'm very impressed with both of you." Dramatic pause. "But there can only be one winner and so....."
Another pause.
And then he turned his eyes towards Dmitriy and smiled. "Congratulations on taking the lead for this duel, Mr Toussaint. And you've put up a brave fight Miss Valke." Stats: Freya Valke: 87.97% Dmitriy Toussaint: 103.9%
