As you walk into the charms room you might notice paint cans sitting by the door. Red, blue, purple, and green to be exact. The next thing you notice when coming in is that the room is very open in the middle. Desk can be found along the wall so you can have a seat and take notes for the day. On the desk in the front there is many art type objects, could you be doing an art project instead of charms today?
Off the to corner of the front of the room there are quite a bit of dummies hanging out waiting to be used. Professor Primeaux can be found writing on his blackboard, instead of his usual suit he is found in a pair of jeans and sweatshirt.

~If you have anything of value that you don't want paint on I would advice you to come place it in the protective desk drawer up front.
~The paint will come out of clothes, but this is the reason for no robes today.
~Please find a seat and get ready for class to start.
Kitty screamed in shock as Peeves emptied the entire bucket of red paint over her. It splattered her already ruined hair and dripped down her face )getting into the ears, eyes, and mouth), before flowing down her sleeveless black and red shirt and jeans. The paint overwhelmed her so much that she dropped her wand on the floor.
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! PEEVES!!"
She screamed in rage as she spat paint from her mouth and rubbed her eyes furiously to get the paint out. Then she ran away from Peeves as fast as she could and ran to hide behind Professor Julian. There was no way she would be able to continue fighting Peeves with so much paint all over her and her wand lying somewhere on the floor.
Rachel breathed a sigh of relief. Could she help it if she always got worried when Haddie was involved in something. No, of course not. It was in her best friend's nature to make her worry constantly. "I think you commanded the spell too well,'' Rachel offered as an explanation. She was about to say more when paint suddenly plastered Haddie's face. Flecks and droplets of it zoomed at Rachel but she covered her face instinctively which caused most of the damage to be contained on her hands. Poor Haddie. "Are you alright, Olivia? Did any of the paint get you?'' She had to be sure that her other friend was okay as well. Eagle buddies stuck together, after all. Rachel giggled. "You sound different.'' She could hear the tone she usually used in Haddie's voice. "Certainly. It would be an honour. Scourgify.''
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Goodness! That Peeves was fast. Rachel watched as he dodged hers, Kitty's and Mel's spells and took aim at an older Slytherin girl. Why was that Gryffindor throwing paint as well? Rachel spared enough time to shake her head at the older girl who should have known better. Really... Gryffindors.
Her attention was quickly returned back to the poltergeist and raised her wand again. She could see that Hady and some other mature older students were casting spells and it seemed to be working, even one from Ariadne. Seeing her fellow first year's success, the Eagle was determined to try again.
"Skurge!'' The tight wrist movement of the three leave clover was done as she said the incantation with the best commanding and yet again, Haddie- like tone that she could manage. Green sparks shot from her wand, towards Peeves.
Haddie took a hesitant breath. "Less commanding. Got it. I can do that. I think." She didn't sound sure about that though. "And thanks." Not only did Rachel manage to clean the paint off her face, but she also got rid of the blood too. "You can have my cupcake tonight."
Haddie raised her wand, aiming it at Peeves, but hesitated. She really didn't feel like having her hand blast into her face again. No. She could do this. She was good at Charms. It was one of best classes after Transfiguration. Maybe if she said it like Rachel would... that might help her be a bit less commanding with the incantation. Oh, look, it was Jace, once again pretending she didn't exist. Ravenclaw boys were the absolute worst.
"Skurge!" A flash of blinding green filled the room and Haddie shot backwards again, landing on the exact same spot on her tailbone she did the first. It was her fault really. She had been annoyed annoyed at Jace, and casting a spell you were already struggling to control normally, while annoyed...was an idiot move at best. "At least I didn't punch myself this time." No fixing her nose, or cleaning the blood off her face again, thankfully. What was up her today? She'd been off before, but never like this.

So.. That just happened..
Azura watched in total despair as Jace just rushed passed her like she wasn't even there! He yelled at some of their classmates to fight Peeves together and Az just sort of watched it all happen!
Her purple eyes filled with tears as she looked around the class and she could barely make out Peeves, had her stupid feelings really just lost her a friend? Was that what had just happened? It was too much for the young Ravenclaw..
She shook her head, trying to clear her tears and she moved towards her classmates and shouted out "Skurge. " However just like Haddie the spell fired out of wand with a bang that she wasn't prepared for! She slipped on the paint on the floor and fell backwards! She hand was brought hard up to smack her nose as she crashed into the floor and hit her head!

Yes, gang up on a poltergeist! After Primeaux told them to start thinking of ideas, that was the first thing that popped in to her head, and apparently everyone else's too. Why hadn't they done this when he first showed up?! THERE WERE SO MANY OF THEM and only ONE of him!
Scarlett was a bit dismayed that her spell hadn't worked, but he was also tricky to get a good shot at. Maybe it HAD worked, but not on HIM because...well, he was good at dodging these spells, of course!
Making a three leaf clover shape and pointing at the slowly-becoming-overwhelmed Peeves, she cried "Skurge!" and hoped that it had some sort of effect on the ghost.

Are any of his spells making any headway? The green spurts are stronger coming out of his wand than he expected, and he wasn’t even saying it out loud. How can he if he has a mouthful of paint?
He rounded behind the other students firing away, their wall of spells giving him a momentary reprieve while he tried getting rid of the green paint from his mouth. Ugh he could still taste it, but his mouth has gotten a lot less gooey.
He looked from behind Ariadne and realized that they had managed to push Peeves further back, almost to the wall. So this curly top quickly made his way towards one side of the room, using various furniture to give him cover. When he got to a favorable position, he timed his aim so that Peeves, while still under heavy attack, is being pushed further and further back to the other side of the room.
Now he's got him cornered.
"SKURGE!!" Tenacius lunged from behind his hiding place, cornering the poltergeist with the fiery green sparks flying from his wand. "SKURGE!!" he fired again, from a different angle this time, hoping to rebound the spell and hit the Peeves where he least expects it.

Woot! It seemed like his spell had hit Peeves!
Carl grinned excitedly as the Poltergeist was pushed to the other side of the room. Of course, there were a few other students who had also contributed to this. He gave them all thumbs up and had turned to try again, when he heard Professor Primeaux's voice. "Maybe everybody can cast the Charm at the same time." He said, raising his left hand while his right pointed his wand at Peeves.
He concentrated again on the task at hand. "Skurge!" He shouted, doing a three leaf clover movement with his wand in the direction of Peeves. Next, he wiped some paint out of his robes. Dodging the paint was another difficult thing he had to do.

Hady wasn't entirely sure if her charm had hit it's intended target. A lot was going on all at once and the fifth actually found herself taking a small step back to gather her thoughts for just a brief second. It appeared that everyone seemed to be getting the same idea now and all trying to attack Peeves at the same time. Chances were a few of them might just land their mark that way.
Not willing to give up and with paint dripping down her face from when she was splashed with it Hadleigh flexed her fingers around the smooth wood of her wand held firmly in her grasp. Raising her wand at Peeves she formed the clover shape making sure her wrist was tight the entire time, "Skurge!," she called out first along with the 'Home Spell' which was intended to make sure the charm hit. There was a bright flash of green light once more as she watched it head towards it's target.

Slinging paint was fun and she was quite enjoying herself when the professor had caught her. It was her, right? There had to be more than just one lion that was down for some fun. Either way points, smoints... only five of them had been lost - which made her think that it was definitely only her that caused the point loss - She had lost way more than that before. In fact she had lost way more than that for every house before so PPPFT.
The Charms professor was starting to get Bellaire's old nickname which was professor no fun. How could he even tell that she had thrown anything when there was paint everywhere? She must have just had bad luck. Such a shame.
Now that professor party pooper surely had his eyes on her now, she lazily held her wand and called out "skurge." AJ didn't even try to aim the spell in Peeves direction because she was really bummed out about not being in on the paint war anymore. Although she was slipping and sliding around and that counted for something.

It was a bad enough that her clothes and face had been covered with paint but not even her hair had been spared.
Okay, Esme was annoyed.
Frowning, she turned on stupid Peeves. Shouting at him might relieve her frustration but that was not the best option. For one thing it would only serve to encourage him further, and for another thing there was a spell she had just learned moments before. The his would be a more satisfying payback she thought with a glint in her eyes. He was going to learn not to mess with a Darcy; just because they were Hufflepuffs didn't mean that they took everything lying down.
"SKURGE! SKURGE! SKURGE" With each spell she moved closer and closer to the poltergeist. Surely at least one of them would hit. If not Esme was going to keep trying until she succeeded.

He watched as the children were hitting peeves pretty impressively, but his eyes soon grew as the head boy nailed Jealin with water in the eye. It seemed that time was starting to run out anyway, so he pulled from his protective charms and lifted his wand nailing peeves with a strong Skurge along with the others that had started ganging up on him. "Time to go Peeves."
Looking around the room he chuckled to himself at the mess. This was a good time even if it wasn't the way he liked to hold her lessons. "There was a question before peeves came about how this spell could bother him. The spell is to clean up ghost ectoplam, Peeves not being a ghost doesn't fully leave the mess, but the spell will give him a nice little zap that stings just enough to push him away."
Looking at his watch again and back at the room, "Unless you have any questions, that's all the time we have for today. Thank you for coming and try to clean yourselves off the best you can before leaving the room. " He turned to find the first year to check on his eye and of course saw his nephew dart out the door. What was wrong with that boy this term, he seemed to avoid him more than talk. Finding Jaemin he glanced at him, "How is your eye?"
Peeves had started to zoom back from the other side of the room when he heard one of the younger boys tell the others to cast the spell together. What? No fair! He dodged a few but started to get hit by one after another, pushing him back. And then some students cast at the same time. There were just too many spells now that they were practically pushing Peeves out the door! What happened to Paint Wars?
"PARTY POOPERS!" he shouted, blowing a few raspberries as he tried to dodge a couple more spells. "This class just got BORING!" Rude! And before he could do anything else, Professor Grumpy Pants hit him square in the chest with his spell sending him spiraling backwards through the door with a shout. He was outta there!

The room was spinning and Azura was just laying down! Ugh.. Had she hurt something? What had happened? She squinted up at the ceiling before blinking a little, trying to clear the fuzziness from her head and to attempt to make the room stop spinning. She barely heard the ruckus going on around her. Everything seemed to be going in slow motion and muted..
Slowly she pushed upwards, watching as everyone seemed to gang up on Peeves and push him out of the classroom.
Class was over? She blinked a little hazily before feeling something warm drip onto her hands, she stared down at the red drops before realizing that is was blood!
Her blood! Her nose was bleeding! And it hurt!!
Everything suddenly came back into sharp focus, the noise returned as did her pain! She had fallen over and hit her head! And her hand had slammed hard into her nose.. And most likely..
Owwwwwww.
All right.
She slowly pushed up onto her feet and then moved out of the classroom.
Henric was practicing the "Skurge" charm non-verbally earlier, it didn't work. Then Peeves happened.
....TOTAL MAYHEM.
He rather stayed out of the clear and stood close to llia. He shielded himself from all the paint attack though. Should he try the non-verbals spells again? "Concentrate Henric, make sure your intent is clear...SKURGE....SKURGE....SKURGE...." Suddenly a bright flash of green light shot out from the tip of his wand and headed towards Peeves. He watched it hit the poltergeist with delight. Nice. Peeves was an annoyance indeed so he was completely fine shooting a couple more verbals 'Skurge' spell at him again with no regrets. Finally, they managed to drive him out of the classroom. He chuckled, that was quite fun actually.
Class was over. Awww...Henric made sure he used the clean-up spell on himself before taking his things. "Thank you, professor for the great lesson! That was fun!" he grinned and head towards the door.

Carl had just lifted his wand to try the Skurge Charm again, when he saw a particularly strong spell hit Peeves. It was Professor Primeaux! He watched as the Poltergeist went flying out of the room. Ouch, that must have hurt. Unless it never felt pain? Either way, it was good to know that he had managed to do something today.
Wiping some more paint out of his robes, he moved to the doorway. "Goodbye, Professor!" Right. It was a fun lesson. With light steps, he walked out of the classroom.

Once or twice Hady felt herself ducking so as to not get hit by someone elses spell shooting over her head towards Peeves. Chances were it wouldn't really harm her if she got hit but still that wasn't in her plan book for the day. Joining in with everyone else she continued to cast 'Skurge' for all it was worth until Professor Primeaux cast it as well sending Peeves flying out of the door! Now that was totally funny.
Lowering her wand to her side Hady glanced around the room that was covered in paint not to so much worried about herself. The lesson was over but the mess that was left behind wasn't a very pretty one. "Does anyone need any help cleaning themselves off?" she offered shifting her gaze onto several of the first and second years that were covered in paint before looking at their Professor. "Would you like any help cleaning up the room Professor?" She may have already been casting some cleaning charms on herself quietly to remove most of the paint until she got to her dorm.

That’s it! Peeves has left the building! Or Charms classroom in this case.
The curly haired kid fist pumped and beamed at all his comrades at arms. They succeeded! Good job yeah?
But right, he could still taste that horrid green paint and now that the Professor gave the signal he was gonna make a fly by to Lion towers and brush his teeth like theres no tomorrow.
"See ya Professah! Gotta date with my toothbrush" Tenacius beamed a green tainted beam at the other man then bolted out.

If Jaemin were really focusing on anything going on in the class at the moment, he would have been extremely disappointed that he hadn't had a crack at Peeves as well. He liked practicing magic, and this would have been a great opportunity... but the paint in his face had sorta distracted him completely, because while it was there, he couldn't set himself on anything other than trying to rub it out of his eye.
"It stings," he whispered, pressing the back of his hand against his closed eye and holding it there. For some reason, that relieved it a bit, until he moved his hand again and it stung some more. "I need to wash it out but I don't... I don't wanna cast aguamenti at my face..."
He looked at Yoongi again, rather quickly, with the one open eye. Lesson learned, there. A drop of purple paint dripped out of his hair and ran down the side of his hand slowly, lazily making its way toward his wrist. the small boy ignored it, having other things to worry about at the moment.

Ariadne had just raised her wand to cast again, when it seemed like their combined casting had worked, and Peeves was on his way out. She lowered her wand and breathed a sigh of relief. There was paint EVERYWHERE.
Speaking of which, Ariadne heard Hady volunteer her time to help clean, and she decided to do the same. "Need any help cleaning the room, Professor?" she asked, her hand still gripped on her wand. She was covered in paint, too, so it wasn't really like helping to clean would make her any dirtier.
She shifted her weight from one foot to the other as she waited to see if he needed her. This actually WAS a pretty cool lesson, even IF there was paint all over the place. At least they got to practice it in a real situation, which made it all the more meaningful.
Was it over? Kitty had been hiding behind Professor Primeaux for the past two minutes, trying to get the paint out of her eyes and ears and so at first she hadn't realized that Peeves was already gone.
She walked out of her hiding space and retrieved her wand (which was covered in paint) from the floor, then pointed it to herself. "Scourgify!" She didn't know if the spell would work on paint but it was worth a try.

Tia had been caught up with her momentary victory over the poltergeist, until he said something about playing fair. Pfft, like HE knew anything about fairness. He was a poltergeist; pranking children when they were most vulnerable was what he lived for.
She beamed at her classmates whom seemed to be taken with the idea of zapping the poltergeist in unison. That was until paint hit her hair. Ugh, reallyyyyyyyyyy ....??!? Did it HAVE to be her hair!?! Like if it was her uniform it would have been okay, because she had extra clothes. But hair was going to take FOREVER to wash out.
About to cast more revenge on Peeves, except she'd started it sort of, it was when she heard the Professor order the poltergeist to leave and that class was dismissed that she just had to do a double-take. Well that was a fast class. She did have a question though, which wasn't full explained. "Professor? What exactly is ectoplasm? Is it like the substance to ghosts like blood is to humans?" But ghosts weren't living, so well, the spiritual world was just so confusing, yet also intriguing.
And after that question, well, she had a date with her shampoo bottle. And the prefect's bathtub.

If her assistance was needed in cleaning up a little bit then she had no trouble at all remaining behind and doing so. There really wasn't any place she needed to be right away and a few minutes wouldn't hurt anything. With all that paint that had went flying about the room it was due for a nice cleaning.
Smiling at Professor Primeaux Hady closed her fingers around her wand aiming it at the closest 'mess'. "Scourgify," the brunette cast clearly not just once but many times as she made her way around the room. She even cast the cleaning charm on several places more then once to ensure it's cleanliness as well as the use of a few other well placed cleaning charms she knew would work.

The small Slytherin took the dampened cloth from the professor with a soft thank you, immediately pressing it to his eye. It felt cool and nice on his skin; slowly he rubbed it, and the purple came away from his skin and his eyelashes. He was pretty sure, after a few minutes, that it only hurt from the rubbing now...
"I didn't get to do the spell very much..." he lamented, still holding the cloth to his eye. "I wanted to hit Peeves with it too..."
At least now, though, he had a spell for whenevef the poltergeist showed up in the dorms in the middle of the night again.
