As you walk into the charms room you might notice paint cans sitting by the door. Red, blue, purple, and green to be exact. The next thing you notice when coming in is that the room is very open in the middle. Desk can be found along the wall so you can have a seat and take notes for the day. On the desk in the front there is many art type objects, could you be doing an art project instead of charms today?
Off the to corner of the front of the room there are quite a bit of dummies hanging out waiting to be used. Professor Primeaux can be found writing on his blackboard, instead of his usual suit he is found in a pair of jeans and sweatshirt.

~If you have anything of value that you don't want paint on I would advice you to come place it in the protective desk drawer up front.
~The paint will come out of clothes, but this is the reason for no robes today.
~Please find a seat and get ready for class to start.

Ariadne had no idea if her charm had worked or not. Was she willing to take any chances, though? UMM...NOPE! There was still paint splattering in all directions, and even though a paint fight sounded a little fun, she knew that with Peeves involved, this was going to be everything BUT fun.
Ariadne dashed in another direction, because she knew if she stayed in one place for too long, that would make her a wide open target for Peeves. Sure, she was a target whether she will running or not. She wasn't going to make this any easier on him, though! Speaking of which, she needed to try the charm again.
She pointed her wand toward Peeves and quickly made the formation for the charm. "SKURGE!" she called out, hoping that at some point, somebody would cast the charm just the right way, and Peeves would leave.

Julien would have liked to have shown surprise on his face when the annoying Peeves showed up, but a touch of a grin might have been playing on his lips. He had hoped his plan would work. He pieced pieces together to bait the poltergeist into coming today. The paint at the doorway open was the the kicker of sealing the deal. He just knew he'd find it and the other hints left. Now that he was here, Julien might have slipped off to the side and place a protective charm around him. No need to get paint on him unless he had to.
Watching the students, the chaos, and the mess, Julien took a deep breath trying to control his control to bring order knowing it was all part of the lesson. Using the charm this way was better then just practicing. "Very good everyone. Now make sure your doing the wand movements and saying your words with clarity and confidence. If anyone has any questions please let me know."
He did notice one looked like they got paint in their eye, but nothing that would be too harmful and the Head Boy already was taking care of it, so no need to worry. What was making his browns turn down and the fume start boiling from his ears was a Gryffindor, "5 POINTS FROM GRYFFINDOR. YOU ARE NOT TO THROW THE PAINT. USE YOUR WAND AND YOUR WORDS."

Cleaning? Scarlett had called it! She KNEW they were going to be doing something that would involve cleaning as soon as she saw the paint...as she practiced the three leaf clover movement, she watched her classmates with interest. She was sort of hoping if she stalled long enough, Primeaux would decide to let them have a paint war and THEN practice the charm, which was wayyyyy more fun than using the dummies. So yes, she was just going to take her sweet time...
UNTIL the annoyance himself, Peeves, showed up! Had he planned this?! The professor totally had set them up! THIS HAD NOT BEEN WHAT SHE WANTED. A paint fight? Yes, but with her peers, NOT A POLTERGEIST!
Running behind one of the nearby dummies as paint started to fly in all directions, she spotted Peeves across the room and pointed her wand at him. Now was as good a time as any to see if this spell actually worked!
"Skurge!" she exclaimed, moving her wand in a three leaf clover formation as she had been practicing. She didn't get a chance to see if it worked, though, as a big old glob of green paint hit her cheek RIGHT after she'd said the spell. EWWWWWW. NOPE. SHE CHANGED HER MIND. She was DONE with this paint fight nonsense!

Peeves was having way to much fun to notice or care about if anyone was getting hit in the face with the paint. In fact, it really made things all that much funnier! A little splash of colour never hurt anyone, and he cackled madly when a student or two threw a handful of paint his way as well.
"Now we're having some fun!" Peeves tossed aside the green bucket of paint and grabbed a handful from the purple bucket he was still holding, throwing it back at the students. "PAINT WARS! HEHEHE!" Now this class was fun! He should visit....er, whatever this class was more often!
Oh, but then he heard a word that was one of his very least favourites in the entire English language. Was Professor Grumpy Pants teaching them THAT spell? Hmm, maybe he could still have fun, because SURELY they didn't want him to really leave, now did they? Nah, he could dodge some poorly cast spells.
HEHEHE! Peeves cackled gleefully as he weaved in and out of the line of fire from a few of the younger students (Optimist, Goblinfrog, FearlessLeader19). "Can't catch MEEEEE!" he taunted as he flew around some more with his paint. Now who else needed a touch of colour? Maybe THAT girl! (SilverTiger) Peeves tossed a handful of purple paint at her just as she aimed her wand. YIKES! Her spell nearly hit him and he flew to the other side of the room. Rude!
But there was still fun to be had and he wasn't about to give up that easily, even when two more older students (SpiritWolfe Malfoy and DuckyLinJi) shot the spells at him too. He could feel the force of these pushing him to the back of the room, but neither of them were quite enough to make him leave - not that he believed they really wanted him to. Class was dull without the brand of fun he was selling.
"Who wants to learn spells when there's PAINT around?" Didn't they know how much fun that was? Apparently only two of them, and even THAT would probably stop now that Professor Grumpy Pants took POINTS away from them. BOO! He dodged the spells from a few first years (Anna Banana, MunchyBubbles, Lissy Longbottom) - now that was kind of fun too! It was almost like a game of chicken. Though he did get hit when one of them (Anna Banana) cast another of the spells at him again - OUCH!
He quickly flew to the blackboard with his bucket of paint and dipped a finger in, painting a stick figure of Professor Grumpy Pants on the board, complete with a FROWNY face and stink lines. Hehehe, now THAT was hilarious!

Olivia switched from incantation to wand movement after several tries. It was truly the trickier of the two. One three-leaf clover…now two. No, that wasn’t quite right. The Ravenclaw tried again, following the direction the professor had mentioned about how to keep her wrist. Still, it was taking some effort to really be satisfied with what she was doing. And one three-leaf clover….and another. Now that looked better. If only she could get it quicker so it really went well with the forceful incantation.
Hearing the offer from Rachel about sharing the dummy, she took her fellow firstie up on it. “Alright….” Olivia moving towards her. Maybe working together, they’d rub off on each other. The other two certainly seemed like they had a better handle on it. “Skurge!” she tried herself, putting it all together. Excepting getting no green sparks like Rachel and Haddie got.
“Are you okay?” she asked concerned as Haddie tumbled back. Bleeding which made Olivia almost call the professor but she seemed to have a handle at helping herself. She was about to try again when Peeves interrupted them and she suddenly found herself splattered with various paints.
Eck!
“Skurge!!” she attempted again, trying for the poltergeist this time like the others but still no luck.
The Head Boy wasn't surprised when Peeves showed up for the lesson. The poltergeist had probably been invisibly waiting somewhere in or outside of the classroom, listening in to what they were doing and had zoomed in had the perfect timing.
And like most of the students standing close by the paint that Peeves was spinning around, he too got paint spatters on his clothes and he now got why they needed to wear comfortable clothing. Surprisingly, Yoongi wasn't angry. Because Peeves would forever be a troublemaker, he would never change. It was what he was. If it were students doing this, then he would be angry because they had a choice. The Gryffindor pointed his wand at the poltergeist and shouted "Skurge!" in an attempt to hit him.
As he pointed his wand a second time, he was distracted by Jaemin walking away and rubbing his eyes. Was he crying? Feeling like this was one of the responsibilities as one of the leaders of the school, Yoongi lowered his wand and jogged towards the little slytherin. "Hey, what's the matter?" he asked although by the look of paint on his face he could see what was wrong. "Paint in your eyes? i can help wash it clean" a simple aguamenti spell would do the trick.
The small boy had moved as close to one of the walls as possible, hoping that the other students and the dummies would prove enough of a distraction for Peeves that he wouldn't get hit again while he was trying to handle the purple on his face and in his hair. He didn't mind it being on him, so much as... when he opened his left eye, it stung. Quite a bit. He did not like that at all, and thus he kept it squeezed shut.
"Ahpayo... ahh, ahpayo," he mumbled over and over, more to himself than to Yoongi when the tall Head Boy approached. He squinted at the tall boy with one eye, the one that hadn't caught purple paint, and rubbed at his left eye some more with the back of his hand, also painted purple now from the touching. The paint still clung to his eyelashes, and some of it that had landed in his hair kept creeping down his forehead toward his eye as well. "It stings..."
He was still holding onto his wand, but it was pretty much useless at the moment. He didn't trust himself enough to cast at his own face when he was so distracted. With his luck he'd end up putting his eye out or blowing his own nose right off... He reached to hold onto Yoongi's arm, the one he wouldn't be casting with, and made a quiet, nervous noise.
"Not too hard, okay?" He didn't want it to hurt mooooore.
Kitty needed a better plan if she wanted to hit Peeves. He was super fast and ducked all her spells with ease, along with most of the other students spells (except Ariadne, who Kitty felt a surge of admiration for at that moment.) Then she remembered the spell Penelope had taught them in the room of requirement months ago. Disillusio, the spell to turn invisible. It would be much harder for Peeves to duck Skurge if the person casting it was inivisible, right?
"Disillusio!" She waved her arm around like she had been taught as she pronounced the spell. No sooner had the words left her mouth than she was standing invisible in the room.
Yes! Kitty triumphantly approached Peeves (completely invisible), sidestepping around other students. She raised her wand and pointed it at Peeves."Skurge!" Skurge!
Rachel looked around as Haddie joined her. "That took you long enough,'' she said with a slight smile then turned her attention back to the dummy. But not before Haddie had offered her some advice. "I know. Ilia told me the same thing. You know how difficult it is for me to demand anything.'' At the suggestion, however, she brightened up. "That's a great idea. I just need to get into your character.'' How could she do this? The girl cleared her throat.
"Skurge,'' she commanded in her best Haddie- like voice and with some force as she did the wand movement. More green sparks flew from her wand. It wasn't enough to force the dummy back but certainly enough more than the first time. "Thank you, Haddie! That helped.'' In her mounting excitement, she gave her best friend a hug.
Smiling at her progress, Rachel paused to watch the other girl try out the spell. Her brown eyes widened in shock at what happened next. All she knew was that suddenly Haddie was sitting on the floor and her nose was bleeding. ''Haddie!'' She flung herself on her knees beside her. "Is it broken?'' They did not need Haddie to become Azura. But her friend was already repairing the damage and Rachel breathed a sigh of relief.
All of a sudden that smile vanished as Peeves appeared. Oh no! Paint was bound to be thrown on the students. She followed Mel's and Kitty's lead by aiming her wand in the poltergeist's direction. "Skurge!'' She really commanded that incantation causing her wand to release more sparks than her previous attempts. With her other hand, he was attempting to pull Haddie to her feet.

Haddie let Rachel pull her to her feet and tried to wipe some of the blood off her face. She probably looked like a vampire right now that just fed...the non-sparkly kind. "I'm okay," the blonde assured Rachel and Livvy. "It looks worse than it is." Espeically since she healed herself. "Wasn't broken, though." She knew her best friend had probably thought the same thing she did, about not needing a second Fairy Princess, constantly breaking her nose. Poor, Azura.
Wonder what that was about, though? As far as she could tell she got the spell right. At least she thought she did. Haddie certainly hadn't put more anymore force than usual behind it, like she had, unintentionally, when she disarmed Rach in the dueling practice meeting. But first the stronger than intended aguamenti in Care of Magical Creatures, and now this? "Is it just me, or does Kira seem to be more powerful lately?" Maybe adding the silver and gold inlay did something to increase the wands strength or something? Was that even a thing? Where was Ailsa, she was into wandlore and such?
Haddie wiped her hands clean on her jeans. "Let's try this again, I gu...GAH!" With the whole smashing her hand into her face thing, Haddie hadn't realized Peeves had joined the class, that is until an entire bucket's worth of pink paint hit her square in the face. On the bright side she didn't look like a vampire anymore. "Ugh!" Haddie spit off to the side, so that it wouldn't hit anyone. "My mouth was open!" Paint did not taste good. Not in the least. "Why is it always pink!?" You know, when it wasn't food that was.
"Freckle Face, ol' buddy, ol' pal... care to Scourgify my face?" Haddie asked, in the sweetest, most innocent voice she could. And it was a good sweet and innocent voice, too. She'd been practicing her Rachel impersonation.

Tia was working on her clover leafs when she heard him before she saw him. The dreaded poltergeist, whom she'd somehow been fortunate to avoid during her years at Hogwarts, but she supposed avoiding him all together would have been near impossible.
Several younger students attempted practice of the Skurge spell on Peeves, and Tia couldn't help but feel immensely proud by their efforts. One even managed a hit, but it was not nearly as strong as the professor's spell would have been. Speaking of the professor, she did notice him dart to the side with a protective barrier and knew somehow that he set them up for this practical usage of the spell. Good work, Primeaux.
But no time to dwell on Primeaux and his setting them up for this practical experience, because she spotted her window of opportunity to take out the poltergeist. Right when his back was to them as he was drawing a stick figure on the board.
"Skurge!" The seventh year called out, aiming her wand in the clover pattern at the pesky poltergeist. No time to waste on non-verbal practice; she needed something strong and forceful; something at her level was best achieved with a verbal incantation.

He had no clue what the boy was muttering about but by the looks of it he wasn't talking to him but himself. He'd had to ask the kid later what he had meant with ahpayo because first they needed to get that paint out of his eye before he was send to the healer. And believe him, he did not want that.
He ignored the sounds around them. Having missed that his and Hady's skurge had had a bit of effect on the poltergeist. He did however hear the minus points the professor shouted and he sighed loudly before turning to Jaemin. "I promise" he smiled and held up his wand. "Lean your head back a little and try to keep your eye open. Its going to be unpleasant but its better than the sting" just saying.

Carl had resumed his practice, after thinking about what he had done wrong. He should have said the wording with more confidence. It was difficult to accomplish, since he doubted that he would be able to cast the spell at this stage, but he was willing to try.
Pointing his wand firmly at the dummy, he cleared his throat. "Skur - " That was when he heard shouting and ... cackling? It was Peeves! His wand still in the middle of doing the three leaf clover movement, he turned around and felt something splash onto his clothes. He looked down uncertainly to find red paint all over him.
The boy was not sure what was happening. Was this another Paint Party? No - he was supposed to cast the Skurge Charm back at the Poltergeist! "Skurge!" He said excitedly, doing the wand movement. A little bit of green sparks shot out, but it was surely not enough. "Skurge!" He repeated with more force, while his wrist stayed tight throughout the three leaf clover. This time, real green sparks came flying out of his wand.
He had no clue what the boy was muttering about but by the looks of it he wasn't talking to him but himself. He'd had to ask the kid later what he had meant with ahpayo because first they needed to get that paint out of his eye before he was send to the healer. And believe him, he did not want that.

It was already hard to keep his eye open for more than a second before the stinging started. He wasn't sure how he was supposed to keep it open, especially if Yoongi was gonna be like... touching or casting. Still, the small boy nodded and tilted his head back a little. His eyelid flickered as he tried to keep his eye open while still squeezing it shut to avoid the ouchies.
The Head Boy wouldn't blind him or something. He was good at magic. Right? That was sorta a requirement.

Rachel breathed a sigh of relief. Could she help it if she always got worried when Haddie was involved in something. No, of course not. It was in her best friend's nature to make her worry constantly. "I think you commanded the spell too well,'' Rachel offered as an explanation. She was about to say more when paint suddenly plastered Haddie's face. Flecks and droplets of it zoomed at Rachel but she covered her face instinctively which caused most of the damage to be contained on her hands. Poor Haddie. "Are you alright, Olivia? Did any of the paint get you?'' She had to be sure that her other friend was okay as well. Eagle buddies stuck together, after all. Rachel giggled. "You sound different.'' She could hear the tone she usually used in Haddie's voice. "Certainly. It would be an honour. Scourgify.''
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Goodness! That Peeves was fast. Rachel watched as he dodged hers, Kitty's and Mel's spells and took aim at an older Slytherin girl. Why was that Gryffindor throwing paint as well? Rachel spared enough time to shake her head at the older girl who should have known better. Really... Gryffindors.
Her attention was quickly returned back to the poltergeist and raised her wand again. She could see that Hady and some other mature older students were casting spells and it seemed to be working, even one from Ariadne. Seeing her fellow first year's success, the Eagle was determined to try again.
"Skurge!'' The tight wrist movement of the three leave clover was done as she said the incantation with the best commanding and yet again, Haddie- like tone that she could manage. Green sparks shot from her wand, towards Peeves.

Whoah wait what? Who got docked points? Was it him? He hastily wiped his hand on his dark sweats, lest he be caught red-handed. Nyuk nyuk.
But fine spell time on the poltergeist of crime "Skoorj" he cast the spell against the general direction of Peeves. And nothing happened. And it was so because he can still taste that green paint in his mouth. He wanted to brush his teeth right now. Or gargle. Or both.
Sighs life is so hard.
Distractedly he clover-leafed his wand against the poltergeist again, intending to speak the spell out. But icky mouth is icky and the Skurge command just echoed in his head--
-- and green sparks flew out of the Alder wood.
Weird wand is being weird again. But this time its helpful with its weirdness.

Almost a second after the paint had begun to fly, quite literally, Brooklyn suddenly suspected that this was intended from the start. The professor hadn’t ever given a reason for the paint cans up til now, and now he seemed awfully pleased by those of them who had retaliated against Peeves for flinging the paint around. That and the reprimand given to the Gryffindor who had tossed paint back at the poltergeist made it all too clear to her that things were going how they had been expected.
Except she really didn’t appreciate Peeves targeting her with the purple paint. All she was able to do was dodge to the side a little, keeping her wand trained on the offending poltergeist, yet the paint still hit her shoulder. At least it hadn’t been her face, or her hair. Plus, she’d nearly hit him so that was that. She felt the slightest bit of vindication. She still turned her wand on herself quickly, casting an Impervius charm on herself before she aimed at Peeves again.
That stick figure really wasn’t too impressive. “Skurge!,” she called out, tracing out the clover formation yet again and watching her spell follow the head girl’s, as well as the handful of first years who had also cast again. Peeves wasn’t getting away scot-free, whether or not the professor had wanted him here.

The fact that Professor Primeaux appeared to have expected thsi didn't bother her. No she had somewhat had a feeling this might've been the case the entire time. The fact that there was now paint all over her clothing, in her hair and smeared across one cheek didn't bother her at all either. Paint could be cleaned off and washed out of her clothing. What did bug the fifth year however was the simple fact that she had missed.
Her spell had missed. Hitting a moving target wasn't always easy but Hady knew a way to make it a bit easier. A simple yet very effective charm she had learned last term and had become rather fond of. The homing spell. That in combination with the cleaning charm should make it hit it's make. She wasn't entirely sure if this method would work but it couldn't hurt giving it a go.
Watching silently for a second she watched as Peeves seemed to dodge nearly each spell thrown at him. Was he really painting stick figures now? As annoying as it could've been that was at least just a bit funny. Funny or not though she raised her wand directing it at Peeves and traced out the clover shape in the air, her rest kept tight, "Skurge!" she called out also adding the 'Homing Spell' to it. The bright green light that came from her wand didn't mean much to her what mattered was hitting the target.

He was impressed, the students were handling themselves very well for having this placed on them just after learning the spell. He watched safely in his little corner until he saw a second year trying to do a spell that was not given in the instructions.

He couldn't help but be impressed she tried it, but a second year couldn't fully to the spell to its ability usually, so Peeves was certainly going to be able to detect where she was even if it was just the movement of the floating wand in her hand. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself thinking about how Peeves was going to probably take great advantage of someone trying to trick the trickster.
"Very good everyone, keep doing it. The charm is working for most of you. Think of ways that could help get it to be stronger. How could you get him to stop when he is so involved in what he is doing?" He looked around the rooms to see if anyone had any thoughts.

OHHHH, did she hit him?!
Ariadne couldn't tell for SURE, but she thought one of her attempts got to Peeves. He looked wounded, even if it had only been for a second. She started to cast on him again, when the professor's voice was heard over the chaos in the room. "What about a different charm or spell? Can we vanish the paint or cause it to be slow-moving or something?" she asked, raising her hand. Were extra charms even allowed?
That was all she said on that matter. She needed to get moving...and FAST, too! "Skurge!" she called out again, waving her wand toward Peeves in a three-leaf-clover formation. "SKURGE!" She dashed away again, not wanting to stay in one place for too long. She was literally COVERED in paint already.

Yoongi was glad that Jaemin trusted him and that he followed directions without talking against him. He watched as the little slytherin tried to keep his eyes open which he knew was difficult, trust him, he knew , his mother had to use the aguamenti charm on his eyes ones after he'd gotten glitter in it from the christmas cards he and his sisters had been making when little, so yeah, he knew.
"ok, i'm going to do the water spell" he said, wanting to tell him what was going to happen step by step so that the kid wouldn't freak out later. "i'll get the paint above your eyes off first so it doesn't drip back in" Alright, he was ready. He pointed his phoenix wand at the kid and casted a non-verbal 'Aguamenti!'
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSH!!
A strong blast came out of the wand and the Head Boy quickly turned his wand at the ceiling in panic. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he shrieked , oh gosh he had forgotten that this was his best spell...for duels! Powerful. "Finite!"

A strong blast came out of the wand and the Head Boy quickly turned his wand at the ceiling in panic. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!" he shrieked , oh gosh he had forgotten that this was his best spell...for duels! Powerful. "Finite!"
......uh....guess he needed professional help?
He had not been expecting that. The sudden sting of water hitting his forehead much too hard made the small boy yelp like a kicked crup, and he immediately jerked away, arms going up to protect his face as both of his eyes squeezed shut tight. The wand still gripped tight in his hand let out a small burst of gold sparks, an unintended side effect to the way his arm moved coupled with the way the water had hurt before Yoongi had diverted it. Jaemin wasn't even aware of them, not having meant to make them happen in the first place and with the fact he had his eyes closed... well, he wouldn't have seen them, either.
It was almost worse than the paint in his eye, probably because it had come from a source he trusted. Jaemin drew a shaky breath and pushed himself back against the wall, reaching one hand to touch the little pink mark on his forehead.
"Maybe... we shouldn't do that again," he managed, opening his right eye just a little as he rubbed his sleeve across his forehead again. "The paint's not so bad..."
Better than losing an eye to an aguamenti spell, that was for sure.
Once he was done with his MASTERPIECE of Professor Grumpy Pants (who coincidentally wasn't all that grumpy today - Boo!), Peeves floated back a bit to admire his handiwork, letting out a few cackles. Boy, was that funny! But he wasn't paying enough attention to the chaos of the classroom because a fairly strong spell (PhoenixRising's) hit him square in the back. Ouch!
Peeves was sent flying back and he whirled around to see who it was. "I'll show you a thing or two about playing fair!" he shouted with an amused glint in his eye. Not that he ever did play fair, but the spell wasn't enough to send him all the way out and he was going to retaliate with a handful of paint directed right at her.
And what was this? Being a supernatural being, Peeves could sense some sort of presence (Goblinfrog), plus her wand was pretty obvious waving about. He dodged the spell just in time and answered it by dumping the rest of the bucket over disillusioned form. HEHEHE! Peeves doubled over with laughter, cracking up over how hilarious that was until a few first years (Anna Banana, Jean Granger, and FearlessLeader19) plus one of those older kids (SilverTiger)started throwing spells at him again. HEY! No fair ganging up like that! The force of all those spells pushed him to the other side of the room, not to mention the burning sensation it left! Ouch!

Azura was still standing in front of Jace, rather annoyed now that her spell hadn't hit the poltergiest! Even when she wanted to protect her friends.. she couldn't! She bit her lip a little as her wand fell to her side.. when suddenly it seemed like Peeves was coming back over towards them!
Oh no he didn't! No more paint and mess today! Not with her friends! Though really, Jace could protect himself.. So what was she doing there?
Oh yeah.. being an idiot.. because she got so angry cause Peeves had dumped paint all over Jace..It was just paint.. She didn't have to get so angry.. At least now he would know she didn't hate him?
She could hope at least! She bit her lip again before pointing her wand up at Peeves! "Skurge!!! Again, green sparks shot out of her wand with a bang and straight at the Poltergeist.

Since he was still confused with the spell, Jace was clever enough to hide near where the professor was and observed what was going on. What kind of effect, or even damage could a cleaning spell do to a poltergeist? Brown eyes followed the being, half-amused and half-wary of what it can do.
The Ravenclaw heard the professor's encouragement, and through the gaps of his hiding place, he was able to figure out something that might drive Peeves away for now. Determined to get some action done, the small boy bravely ran up to where Ariadne, Rachel, a Hufflepuff boy named Carl, and an older Slytherin, Brooklyn."We have to cast the spell together!" getting his cherry wand out, Jace practically yelled the incantation. If he was able to stun the Headmistress with a stunning spell, then he'd probably have no problem sending the Poltergeist off to the wall, with the help of his friends of course. "SKURGE!!!"

Janelle was just ready to try her luck on the dummy. She had her wand raised and her mind focused. And then........Peeves happened, and chaos ensued. Paint was everywhere in the blink of an eye. That included being all over Janelle. She had figured that they would be using the paint in some productive way. What she hadn't counted on, was being the target of said paint.
Quickly turning her attention from the dummy to Peeves, she was about to get some real life spell practice. Not particularly happy with having paint on her, Janelle pointed her wand at the annoyance. "Oh it is so on, Janelle shouted to no one in particular. Then specifically for Peeves, she said, "You know this means war, right?". She made the triple clover movement as fast as she could and took careful aim. "Skurge." Following Peeves with her eyes and wand, Janelle added"You are so going down." It might take her many tries, but she was going to get him back.

Austin had practiced the spell a few times on the dummy, but he wasn't sure he was ready for Peeves. He had, thankfully, managed to stay in the shadows of other students, and was able to avoid Peeves' gaze... for now. But he wasn't sure if the spell was going to scare him off. Peeves was a tough specter, and he was rarely scared. Maybe if enough students casted the spell at once, he'd be a little spooked. 20 or so students coming at once would scare just about anyone.
Right now, though, he just watched his fellow students cast against Peeves. Austin wasn't the best spell caster, and wasn't fully ready to attack yet.
