The paint cans were the first thing that Rachel noticed as she approached the Charms classroom and she couldn't help but observe there was no pink. She pouted slightly at the absence of her favourite colour but her curiousity was raised. Whatever could they be using these paints for? Steeping into the room, she looked around, taking in the vast space; desks; dummies and objects on the table. How even more curious.

"Hello, Professor Primeaux,'' the Eagle said with a smile. "It's lovely to attend one of your classes again.'' The only object of value she had on her person was her pink wrist watch which she removed to place in the appropriate desk drawer. She then went off to find a seat.

Another Charms lesson and Miss Hadleigh was more then ready. Having left her robes back in the dorm as they had been told to do she arrived at the classroom wearing dark blue jeans, a lilac t-shirt and her trainers however she had left her hair down for the moment, a scrunchy around her wrist should she need to pull it back.

Entering the room Hady glanced around taking in the paint cans first and the the dummies and objects on the table. Interesting but not so much to worry her. "Hello Professor," she greeted with a light smile before reading the announcement on the board about anything of value being taken off. Instantly her hand went to her necklace and she shook her head. Sorry but not taking that off, so tucking it under her shirt would have to do like always.

On her way to selecting herself a seat she smiled at Rachel. Sitting down she let her bag drop down on the floor at her feet.

Janelle arrived for Charms class, feeling quite comfortable in her jeans and sweatshirt. "Hello Professor", she said cheerfully. "Hi Rachel, Hi Hady", she added, upon seeing her friends. Noticing her sirroundings, Janelle gave an eyebrow raise. Paint? Oh this was going to be interesting, and hopefully fun.

Walking over to an empty desk, Janelle sat down. With a good view of the door, she sat back to watch as her classmates arrived. She also took time to imagine what they might be doing for today's activity.

Oh the blessed NO UNIFORM announcement was well received, like, he hated the thing... robes were so 1400 or whatever, they were just long and impractical and frankly unnecessary in this modern age, even it was part of 'wizarding culture' like, they were allowed to adapt too. Sporting a basic grey long-sleeved shirt and black denim, Zeke entered the class, adjusting the strap of his bag.

"Professor Primeaux," he greeted the man with a nod. Like. Hey-yo. And of course, "Ladies," he bowed his head in their general directions as he helped himself to a seat skirting around the edges.

Seriously though, painting? It looked an awful lot like muggle studies to him... he hoped this wouldn't be disappointing, he hated artsy stuff.

Charms..

It was the first thing that had made Azura smile in awhile! She loved this class and she was so excited for every charms lesson! She moved into the room with a semi smile on her face too! The small twelve year old was wearing dark jeans with a white sweatshirt that had the outline of a mouses ears on it.

Her black hair was back in a neat ponytail, she was ready for what was to come! She waved at the Professor. "Hello Professor!" she called out as she looked around and then waved at Rachel, she didn't move to sit next to her though, cause that spot was usually saved for Haddie.

She wondered what it would be like to have a best friend.. And then sighed as she though of Jace and moved to sit near the door..

As AJ made her way into the charms room, she was happy to see that paint was involved. Excellent. There were some pretty nifty color choices too. Even though she was a mature sixteen year old, she couldn't help but to wonder if they would be doing some body painting. Like, they could have a little paint bucket full of color and AJ could slide into and roll around on the floor to make a masterpiece. Yeah? The answer to that was probably no but a girl could dream, yes?

A paint filled balloon toss would be epic too, but again she didn't have high hopes. Looking around at the students assembled there she noticed that she was kinda early-ish. Well, would you look at her!

"Hello, professor!"

Ariadne walked into the classroom expecting desks in neat, organized rows, and a blackboard full of mini assignments to get the lesson started. Well, there were desks alright, and there was even a blackboard of notices. Things looked different, though. There was paint and lots of open spaces and art projects all around. OH MY GOSH, this was so cool! She was going to make a masterpiece!

"HIIII, PROFESSOR!" she said, waving at him. "I took a ride on the moving staircase after all! It was fun at first but then it got a little boring. It was just the same thing over and over again." She began to tell him all about the plans she had made the first time they'd met in the corridor near his office. "Well, now I know! Your classroom looks SUPER AWESOME and FUN today!"

...and now that she had talked his ears off, she went to find a seat. HIIII, everybody that she knows!

If everyday was just dress down day, Tenacius would likely be coming in pretty much as he is now. But given that Hogwarts is a uniformed school the curly top doesn’t really have much chance to flaunt his style, which at this age, pretty much means anything he rolled out of bed in.

But hey paint cans! Anything involving paint cans whose color isnt white is fun. "Hey-o Profes'r Primo!" the Gryffindor greeted the other man happily. He made his way to a desk and started poking with the art stuff. Charms class? Art Class? Who cares its funnnnnn.

The no robes rule had been unexpected and truth to be told he was a little dissapointed because he thought he looked good in uniform. But for today the Gryffindor was dressed in a simple blue jeans and white t-shirt. He also wore his Gryffindor tie and the Head Boy badge was pinned to his shirt as well.

The first thing he noticed when entering the classroom was the space in the middle. Then the cans of paint which reminded him of the rave party...which he quickly shut out of his mind in case the Professor was a skilled legilimens... And then spotted the professor himself. "Hello Professor" he smiled "Did you catch that Hag?" just curious.

Austin was excited walking into Charms. These classes were one of his favorites, mainly because every class was a surprise. Who knew what was going to happen when you walked through the door? Well, this time, he had some idea. They were told not to wear anything important, such as robes. Today the fifth year was wearing an old long sleeved shirt and some jeans. It was cold out, and he wasn't going to walk around this castle in short sleeves. That was crazy. He even opted out of his usual messenger bag. No, today it was just him and his wand in it's holster around his leg.

"G'day Professor." He said with a nod.

OOOOOOH paint?! Scarlett was all ABOUT paint. Anything crafty, really. Just look at her nails - today they were decorated with a rainbow ombre sort of thing that she'd spent a good three hours on last night. So essentially, she was going to just kill it in this class!

"Hey Professor!" she said happily as she took a seat in one of the desks near the front. She wondered what kind of charm they could possibly be learning that had to do with paint...obviously not a PAINTING charm, otherwise there'd be no need for the paint itself. MAYBE...a cleaning charm to get paint OUT of things? It would make sense....

NO ROOOOOBES! Dora bounded into the classroom in jeans, a hoodie, and her favorite high top Chucks. In Gryffindor red to be exact! Sliding to a stop inside the door she beamed as she took a look around. "Good day, Professor! " she exclaimed before bouncing over to a desk. She was SURE to leave a couple of desks on each side of her... in case... people wanted to sit with her. PEOPLE. Yeah. Hehe.

"Hmmm hmmm hmmm hmmmmmm hmm hmmm." She skipped in, humming softly to herself, in such away that probably made all the prefects wonder what she had done, or was planning to do. Haddie stopped dead in her tracks. Paint!? On top of getting to wear normal clothes!?

AND THE WORDS HOW TO ANNOY WAS WRITTEN ON THE BOARD!!!??? Actually written! Plain as day!

A wide, idyllic, excited smile spread across her face and Haddie looked all the world like an innocent, excited seven year old on Christmas morning again, except for the fact that no one here probably believed she had ever been innocent. Not at seven. Not at five.

Still grinning so hard her cheeks hurt, Haddie sat down next to Rachel. She gave short excited waves to the Fairy Princess, Tenacius (of course), Dora, the other Hady, who had rescued her from statuedom, and Ariadne. Then she turned to the Professor with the most grateful and appreciating look of thanks, as if he'd organized this entire lesson just for her. "Professor Primeaux, have I told you how much I ADORE your lessons?"

"OW!" Matt held both his hands up once he SUDDENLY appeared at the door of the Charms Classroom. "Dudududududududum. Dudududum. Dudududum. Shcktchck. "OW!"" Michael Jackson was the new THING. For him, at least. Well, nah, he just felt like singing. "Ashecameintothewindow... twasasoundof... a crescendo... HEH." The Gryffindor started singing the most Michael Jackson-sounding voice he could put on as he walked in. "Hecomeintoerapartment... heleftthebloodstains... onthecarpet. HEH."

And then Merlin the song just went on and on but he wanted to go straight to the chorus already. "Aalalalbahblah- itwasherDOOM. Annie, are you okay? SO Annie are you okay? ANNIE, ARE YOU OKAY? ARE YOU OKAY, ANNIE??"

OHEY, PAINT!! "AWESOME!" And what was that written on the board, ANNOY?? "DOUBLE AWESOME!!" That lesson looked like it would be SUPER FUN already! "You been hit bah... you've been STRUCK bah... a SMOOOTH criminal. OOOOOW! Oh, hey professor!" Yo.

He happily walked along to where Tenacius was sitting, but didn't sit down. He was singing MICHAEL JACKSON, mun, he couldn't sit down. Actually, he was done singing now, but he wanted to remain standing. Could he?

LET'S PAINT ALREADY!

No robes and muggle clothes were always interesting mentions on lesson announcements. It usually meant they were going outside the box with their topic which was usually fun. For the most part. Olivia couldn’t wait to see just what they would be dealing with so she made her way to the classroom with an ever so slight bounce in her step. Paint cans? Open layout? Artsy plans in the works? That made her both curious and excited but she was trying to keep it a little low key.

It was supposed to be a class. Professors might take it the wrong way if you enjoy it too much.

“Hello Professor,” Olivia greeted with a polite smile. “Are we doing a redesign?” Make the classroom unique and new like they had earlier in the term with the messed up Muggle Studies area. With nothing that she was concerned about, the Ravenclaw just headed to find a desk to sit at. “Hey…” she greeted Haddie and Rachel as she sat by them. “You have that ‘cat ate the cream’ look Haddie.”

What was going on in her head?

Hugo put on a dark blue shirt and jeans and made his way to the Charms classroom. He wanted to be in bed even though it wasn't that early.

The prefect entered the room and noticed the changes, there was paint and art stuff which was weird 'cause this was Charms. Oh well. He greeted Primeaux, "What's up professor?" and proceeded to take a seat and wait.

Dante was not the most artistic person in the world. He left that to his friends. Coming in, in just a white t shirt and pair of blue jeans. He did not really care if these clothes got ruined. As long as no paint got in his hair because that is horrible. Yes he knows who he sounds like there. But it is still true.

"Hey Professor, looking good in normal clothes"

It always nice to see them without their suits. Though Flamsteed is the exception since his suits were always awesome. He took a seat next to Hugo after hitting him on the shoulder.

Might not have deserved that now. But in the future he will do something to deserve it

Kitty strolled merrily into the Charms lesson. Her hair was painted pink on the left and the right but it remained black in the middle and she wore normal Muggle clothes instead of robes like they had been instructed to do. "Hey guys!" She smiled and waved to Rachel, Hady, Azura, Ariadne, Haddie, and Olivia before going to the front desk to drop off her beloved camera and hand mirror. Esme would probably be coming soon.


"Good morning Professor Primeaux," said Kitty as she dropped her camera and hand mirror off at the desk. "Are those the same dummies we fought in DADA?"

Any lesson that required they not wear their uniform was destined to be a fun lesson. The small Slytherin was sure of this. So when the notice went up that they were to not wear robes for Charms, Jaemin had been rather excited. As it was, he turned up for class in a grey oversized zip up hoodie and some jeans that, while clean, bore the familiar markings of someone who spent an awful lot of time kneeling in the dirt. He was pretty sure all of his jeans were like that, now.

"Hi professor!" he said, rather happily, as he bounced into the room. The boy's eyes scanned everything around them, and his little nose wrinkled as he tried to think of how these things would all fit together. "Are those Professor Hirsch's dummies? Cause they can be kinda grabby."

He needed to know if he had to stay away from them. He had had quite enough dummy hugs already, thank you. He didn't need any more.

Jumping at the chance to wear casual attire to class, Esme had decided to come in wearing a pink dress that she had tie-dyed - it was her favourite colour so how could she pass up the opportunity?

Curious as to what they would be doing today she glanced at the board. How to annoy an annoyance? Okay... that raised more questions than it answered. Ehhh, she'd find out what was going on soon enough. "Hello, Professor," she said as she took off her necklace, ring, and wrist watch so that they wouldn't get covered in paint.

Waving at her friends she took a seat near the front of the room.

The notice mentioning not wearing uniforms had reminded Brooklyn immensely of Muggle Studies, except this time it apparently was meant for Charms. That was odd, but she’d had no reason to refuse. Instead, she’d walked up to the Charms classroom dressed much like she had been for the other class, in a loose oversized long-sleeved t-shirt and leggings, a pair of ballet flats on her feet. Plus, she’d pulled her hair up into a knot at the crown of her head, just in case there was a real reason they’d been told not to wear their uniforms.

As she’d arrived to the classroom and noticed the paint cans, her theory only seemed that much more likely. After the other Charms lessons they’d had, she knew there was a reason the paint cans were there. The professor didn’t do things just to do them. There was always a reason.

“Good day Professor Primeaux,” she’d said with a polite smile, not reacting to the fact he wasn’t dressed much differently than the rest of them. That only proved her theory more. They were doing something that likely would be messy, and while she preferred avoiding things like that, it was Charms class. One of the subjects she generally did well in, and that meant she’d have to deal with it for once. Either way, she made her way over to where Hady was sitting, taking a seat next to her and setting her bag down. She didn’t have anything on that she particularly valued, aside from her wand. She doubted that counted as something that needed to go in the drawer.

"Hello, Professor," Davie greeted their strict teacher as he came in and got settled. He didn't have anything of particular value on him today, no chocolate frog cards or fighting dragons or anything, so he remained quiet for now.

Any class that was overtly messy was not Dot's favorite place to be, but she was willing to put up with a little mess... for Charms. Her best subject, her most necessary skill set. There was no way that she could slack off in this class, even if it meant leaving with paint under her fingernails and in her hair.

Merlin. In her hair.

"Good day, sir." She gave the professor a small smile before taking a seat. He was a tough nut to crack, but he knew what he was on about.

Cornelius was feeling super duper goofy today. He didn't blame the several pumpkin pasties he just had--THEY WERE SUPER DELICIOUS BTW--he was just in a grrrrreat mood. The bounce in his step said so. He entered the classroom, green eyes roaming EVERY inch in the room. Desks weirdly arranged (when were they in proper order like in primary school?) which he didn't mind, actually. Professor wasn't all fancy dressed and there were dummies. Cornelius had grown fond of dummies and he missed them when they weren't in a room. Oh, and look, paint cans.

....Paint cans?!?!?!?!

A mischievous smile played on his lips, eyes flitting from the cans to the dummies; back and forth until his eyes crossed. "We're painting bodies!" Dummy bodies to be exact. How cool. Making his way to a random desk, he smiled at the professor's back. "Hullo, Professor Primeaux, how're you doing?" He was so giddy and so much ENERGY. "I won a duel the other day--remembered charms mostly." Because that was his specialty and all, and Professor Primeaux should be informed.
