The door to the charms room is wide open, but as you walk in you will notice that there are not desks, no seats, no professor. Just a big empty room with many glass cabinets around the walls. What could possibly be going on and where would Professor Primeaux be that he wasn't there. As you stand and wait you might notice that there are enough glass cabinets for every student in the school, one right on top of the other.
As the last person comes into the room the door shuts and a voice echos the room. It seems Professor Primeaux had the room charmed to record and play his own voice. "Good morning students. As you might have noticed the room is empty and I have decided not to formally attend at the moment. After the things I have seen from the students here at Hogwarts I've decided you need a test on how much you want to learn and succeed. My job is to teach you, but I can only teach students that want to try and work hard. Your first test directions are on the board in the front of the room."
Writing appears on the board with the direction for the students first activity.

OOC: Hello everyone! Just as Julien said he has given your charrie a test right away! What you need to do is have your character do the steps and you can say whether they are doing well or not. Please be realistic about your students age and ability. If they don't make it through that is alright, that is what makes the RP fun everyone being different. You can work alone or with partners. I will be posted quoting your post once you have RP'd the steps (each step should be a post, so four post at the minimum) with the number code and the entrance into the next step. Have fun and any questions please let me know. Julien might not physically be there, but he would never leave a group of students unsupervised fully. If you have not made yourself and your charrie aware of his rules, please do so here.

Some of you have messaged me today so I wanted to ease your concerns!
1. Breath there is no deadline at the moment. I'm going with the flow of the Rp's right now. If I need to put a time I will give you a 24 hour notice maybe longer!
2. Work at your own pace!PLEASE don't get overwhelmed by the post count. I have not posted any directions other than right here! So read here and go have fun! I don't want anyone missing out because they see seven + pages and think they are too far behind. YOU ARE NOT!! I promise!
2. No, not every student is expected to know these spells like above it is okay to play a first year failing, or any Charrie really. At the end everyone will be allowed into the last area!

There comes a time where things do need to wrap up! I would like to move on Tuesday, January 12. So I will be closing room 1 and 2 at that point. You will have until Tuesday at 3 p.m. EST to finish up on any of your post! Once these are closed it will be said that door have opened for your character to just go straight to the classroom! Remember it is okay if your character did not get all the way through!!
Glowing numbers! Jaemin jumped up to his feet, exactly like a frog-person would; in his excitement, he completely forgot about Robin and went for the door. He'd done the thing! His dad would be so proud.

And then he was gone, on to the next room. Because he was a super smart Slytherin who could do that.
Hopes smile faded as she looked for the piece of paper. Where was it? She thought the boxes contained the numbers... Uh oh. She hoped she didn't do something wrong. She didn't want to fail her first test and the numbers in class were dwindling.. She also still had to do the second incantation.
Were they mixing Arithmancy with Charms? HE HAD NOT STUDIED FOR THAT. Cornelius wasn't panicking. No. He was cool. So why was he kicking at the door?
Oh right. HE WAS PANICKING.
He was not ready for Arithmancy. Give him anything. Goo, snails, BEETLES. He could handle all of that but NOT numbers. He was stuck. He was dead. The professor was going to send his mother a letter detailing how severely he had failed. The fact that he had not landed Ravenclaw was a blessing because Mum wouldn't be expecting 1000% from him but she was still expecting 999%.
Shoulders deflating, Cornelius' bottom lip stuck out. He had FAILED. What an awful word. It's never been on his list of words until now.
"What do I do?" he asked himself in a low, sad voice. "Eight, two. Zero, three. What does it..." Just then a click sounded in front of him. A passage. He peeked, his eyes going from sad to curious in a seconds moment.

Shoving everything into his satchel and smiling so big one would think his face would hurt, Cornelius scurried toward the passage, forgetting what failure felt like.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
As he looked inside the box, Yoongi saw that the code he had been given was an easy to remember 4 numbered code. He closed the box and stood up from the ground. He looked around, the room was nearly empty now as most of the students had gone to the next room.
He faced his own door and cleared his throat. "10,3,4,5" he said and as the door opened he stepped through.
Robin watched the boy walk away, feeling a little hurt. It was like he didn't expect anything she did to go right. Well She would show him. "3,4,5,2" She said and with her head held high she followed the arrogant snake boy.
Altha stopped to look around the room. What was next again? She'd gotten the cabinet unlocked, and she'd gotten the box out and locked the cabin... Oh! her dark eyes roll back as she realizes she hasn't unlocked the box yet.
Thinking back to the cabinet and how Echo had showed her how to pronounce the incantaion, Altha moved her wand steadily, "Alohomora,"

Very likely, considering how he'd been trying to sleep less and maybe he really should give up on that idea because he was so tired and ugh this was only the first lesson of the DAY.

Oh. It appeared that there were numbers on the sheet of paper. Yeah. He'd have to read the, out loud. Which way, though? As a single number? As two numbers? It probably didn't matter but Brian couldn't help but think about how this was a very vague way to do the thing. And those numbers, they were staring at him like they were mocking him. Daring him to say them the wrong way.

"Four thousand four hundred and eighty-five?" he tried, facing the door. Nothing? Then he'd try it a different way. "Forty-four, eighty five? Four, four hundred and eighty five?" Nothing. What was he supposed to do, try it in a different language? One last shot. "Four four eight five."
Lincoln hugged the box to his chest tightly. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He could totally finish this test, he was going to be fine. He opened his eyes and poised his wand to touch the box and attempted to open the box with the newly mastered spell. He frowned when it didn't work. Linc cleared his throat and tried again, this time, he accidently dropped the box because he couldn't hold it with one arm.
Leaving the box on the floor he tried one more time. Alohomora! The box opened this time and Lincoln knelt to the floor to retrieve the box. Okay, so now what? He asked the box when he pulled the paper out. Did I win?

Oooooooooooooooooh! Linc watched as the numbers glowed before him. HOW COOL WAS THAT?! Facing the door Linc held the paper with outstretched arms. Four, five, five, five. He smiled when the door opened the first time. Apparently he could still read numbers well.
Was he supposed to leave the box in this room or take it with him? Lincoln looked at the box and looked at the door. What if he left it and he needed it? Better take this. He said hugging the box to his chest and walking into the next room.
