Catch! Quote:
Which was a splendid toss. Went right to him. Catching the yellow ball, he placed it on the platform, turning it red. "NICE!" |

"Oh, yes! TODAY!" she called back. She may be little. She may be young. But she was ON A ROLL. |
Pass Interception! Quote:
Maybe luck was on his side, but he found himself being struck by a ball mid air. Instinctively, he grabbed it as he was falling back to the ground, taking notice that it was indeed another red ball. What... WHAT EVEN. |
Post 5 :: Stealing from Gryffindor (Also, WAR.) Quote:
"Are you SERIOUS?" Ariadne asked, unsure if she could even be heard. The SAME Gryffindor boy that had JUST stolen her thunder not even five minutes ago had done the exact same thing again. "Alright, Gryffindor boys! This means WAR!" Yes. Specifically YOU, Gryffindor boys. She was determined. She was fierce, and she was GOING to steal all the red balls off the Gryffindor platform. Frown set firmly in place, the tiny first year pushed her way toward the Gryffindor platform and plucked another red ball off the top. LANCELOT. TENACIUS. |

Deffending attempt again xD Quote:
And just when he saw the ball go to the other boy-- his teammate (Lancelot) charged in intercepting it. YAAS! But yeah there goes Ariadne again. This is war? "Bring it!" the curly top cackled. And there he goes, zooming straight for Ariadne's hands. CHAAARRGGEE! |
Post 6 :: Trying to pass, hee hee. Quote:
Ariadne didn't waste any time. She wanted to get the ball passed to the Slytherin boy before the Gryffindor boys found out about it. BOYS. She always heard they were just a load of trouble! Heh. Ariadne quickly nodded and, on a whim, decided to fly in a different direction to try and get a better aim toward her teammate. There were no Gryffindors around this time, so unless one just apparated right smack in the middle of them, the pass should go through beautifully! That was the plan! Ariadne hurled the ball through the air toward the Slytherin boy. GOOOOO, SLYTHERIN! |

Post 6 : Stealing from Gryffindor Ilia was looking for a good place to steal, with all of the middle balls out of play as she watched the events unfold. Things were close for sure. She looked to see who was the best target, not the easiest mind you, but the best. Watching, she w a few baby snakes trying to pillage Gryffindor's pyramid. It was looking a bit too high wasn't it? A smirk played to the older snake's lips as she crouched to build up her momentum. Incoming kiddies. She sprang herself onto the Gryffindor platform with the baby snakette. Hello little one. The taller snakette smirked as she snatched a ball from the red pile, beside her cohort. War had been called lions. |
Post 8..oh just hanging out on top of a lion. No biggie *grins* Quote:
"You're dreaming, Browne. And while Gryffindors give great hugs I wouldn't want to make the girlfriend jealous." Tia retorted, snorting a little. "However, I would like that ravenclaw property returned to me and our pyramid, please" she reached for where he was holding out, hoping that by being on top of him was enough... |
Defending attempt yea! Quote:
""Yo Snakes! The Lions aint hosting an open bar ok?? And there goes the curly top after the little Snakette. GIVE THAT BACK! |
Stealing Attempt from Slytherin Confused as all get out, he glanced up to the Gryffindor platform, only to see that one Slytherin girl there. DID SHE... it didn't matter. He still had a red ball to put back where it came from, but he kept an eye out for where that Slytherin was going. At least it looked like she was moving away from the Gryffindor platform? She had another one of their balls, though. Which was already passed to another Slytherin and... it was gone. OK, no, NOW it was war! Hopping up to the back side of the Slytherin platform, he lunged for one of the green balls, grabbing whichever his hands connected with first. Not exactly stealthy. He kinda stumbled on a few of them, which luckily none of them fell overboard. Or maybe that was unlucky. |

#7 still tackling with Tia, and kicking the blue ball SPOILER!!: Tia He never would understand this whole thing of people tackling him. They were welcome to, he didn't mind, but as it was... it wasn't working in her favour. Legs failing in midair, he managed to somewhat right them, but they were still floating on a slight angle. He was dreaming? Nooooooo. But she did have a point, a jealous Maggie would do neither of them any good. "Good thing my dreams are only of her then," he mused shrugging. And shrugging some more, because GET OFF NOW PLEASE? If she thought she was going to get the ball back, she could think again. "Fat chance of that happening," he chuckled some more. It was amusing for so many reasons. 1) Because she sucked at tackling 2) because he was sure his arms were longer than hers 3) he was sure he was stronger and her 4) being on top didn't necessarily give you an advantage and 5) because he had a plan. He made sure to keep a firm grip on her arm with one hand and loosed his hold on the ball with the other, enough to be able to get a foot to it, and BAM! ... "Incoming!" Dammit Lions! CATCH! |
Stealing Attempt from Slytherin! Pass Attempt! Quote:
Until he maneuvered so he grabbed the ball with his underarm and lunged backward... Off the platform... Quote:
Speaking of awesomeness... He looked up to the Gryffindor side, noticing the lion that was really good at trying to defend their side. "CATCH!" he called up, throwing the ball towards him. |
Catching!! Quote:
Catching tiiiiime!! Tenacius seized the ball in mid air, and zoomed for their platform. Slam dunk! There goes the ball turning rosey red "YAAASSS!!!!" |

Post 4; intercepting kicked ball from Zeke-Tia tackle pile :) SPOILER!!: Zeke & Tia There was a problem. A big problem when said partner was suddenly out for the take!! Browne down! Browne down! ....More or less. Which meant tactics had to change. Which mean the tackler had to become the tackled so the tackledee could be free. Or some such. Either way, too much thinking and not enough action was going on. Hoping down from the Gryffindor platform, Amur made a mad break for the Raven-engaged-Gryffin duo, and there might have been a bit of a war cry in there. After all, someone had called war. She had heard it. She was about five paces, or two and a half hops, from Zeke and Tia, when Zeke decided to change tactics again. All of a sudden the ball was a free-bee, rolling about on the ground. Amur squeaked, dug her heels in and lunged. The anti-gravity propelled her forward, and she almost swallowed the ball rather than catching it with her hands. Thankfully the impact with the ground drove said ball and air out of her mouth and into her hands, and as she bounced up off the ground and skittered a few feet away, she pulled the ball in close and tucked her arms and legs around it. She HAD it. Now.....she had to get back to the Gryffindor platform. |

"I know plenty" too much even "My dad owns a chain of luxury hotels. Seen more than my fair share of drunks and drunkettes" he laughed. And yeah he saw them score. So off he goes stealing it right back! "Yo Lions look awake!!" and he needs help to pass this to. |
Quote:
But time was not on their side! He noticed the Gryffie boy moving from his post on the lion's side, deciding to take his place in hopes of defending or catching. Whichever came first. Leaping up to the Gryffindor platform, he turned and waited. Which seemed pointless, but waiting was sometimes good. Or so his grandmother says. NO WAIT. WAITING WAS GOOD. "HERE!" he waved his arms towards the great defense lion. |
