de-cloning post Well that is a LOT of stuff humans do that ruins the environment, plus that one wizard Blaise talked about. In fact that can be true of a LOT of wizards and witched that didn’t know what they were doing with magic. Was he one of those? Hobbling Hinkypunks he hoped not! But oh oh oh oh oh!!! They were finally leaving! He jumped up and grabbed the hula hoop from his HoH and off they goooooo..... |
De-Cloning! Oh booooo. Scarlett had really been hoping that they were going to Mars or something. Instead she was going to be in for some manual labor - AGAIN. Just like in Muggle Studies earlier in the year. Hmm. This seemed to be a trend this year, and she was starting to feel more like a house elf than a student. Deciding to go with Myers, her good old head of house, she ran up and grabbed the portkey at one of the open areas and WHOOSH! Off they went! |
Even though Esme had already been holding the portkey rather tightly, she gripped it even harder after the reminder from Professor Myers. The last thing that she needed right now was to let go of the shoe in the middle of transporting to the work site. Who knew what would happen then and she would miss the chance to experience terraforming on a personal level. It was an exciting prospect for the Hufflepuff. As Professor Flamsteed counted them down she took a deep breath. As soon as he called out 'One' she felt that familiar tugging sensation. With a WHOOSH she was pulled out of the room. |
De-Cloning Portkeys. Amongst the three fast paced mode of transportation for the wizarding kind, this one was his most favoured. He's humble enough to acknowledge that Apparition is too advanced for him, although being able to side-apparate with his dad, he still isn't fond of the sensation. Flooing is messy, therefore, that leaves him with portkeys. Jace quickly joined Professor Myers' group, and as soon as they were told to touch the portkey, the Ravenclaw held on the object with two hands, and was immediately welcomed by the sensation of being hooked from the navel. He felt his feet leave the ground...and in a matter of seconds, he was gone. |
Sticking the landing once again, Airey gave his group a moment to find their footing before taking the hula hoop and tucking it under his arm and Pebbles placed ceremoniously on his desk. "Stellar work today, all of you. It will take some time to decipher whether or not our efforts helped restore that particular patch of land, but we will keep you all well informed of such progress once the Ministry goes to inspect the situation and passes on a report to us," he announced. "The uniforms are yours to keep if you wish. Class dismissed!" OOC: this thread will remain open for another 24 hours for you to RP dismissal and arriving back at Hogwarts. Thank you all for coming <333 |
Azura once again.. Fell right onto her knees as she landed back at Hogwarts.. She groaned softly as she attempted to get herself back together and slowly Stood up.. She was still slightly dizzy but.. She wouldn't fall over again.. She hoped.. "Thanks professors! Today was really fun, and please let me know how the site turns out, or if there is any more we can do to help. " |
Ariadne fell...legitimately FACE PLANTED...on the floor upon arrival. WHAT. AN. EMBARRASSMENT. She'd somehow lost her balance in the landing and ended up face-to-floor. She scrambled to her feet and brushed herself off in the hopes that she could get up and going before the others had time to notice. Nothing to see here. Hurry along now. "Thanks for a super cool field trip, Professors!" she said. "Oh, and thanks for letting me hold Pebbles, Professor Flamsteed! Oh, and thanks for the uniform!" |
And she was back. Janelle landed a bit more gracefully this time and that was good. Nothing left to do here, so she headed for the exit. On they way though, Janelle had these parting words. "Thank you Professors. I really enjoyed the field trip." Hearing that they could keep the uniforms, Janelle smiled. "Thank you again Professor Flamsteed. When I see this, I'll always remember our trip." With that, Janelle was off to her Common Room. |
The landing was just as good as earlier. No stumbling and certainly no falling over. All was good with her minus the dull ache in her stomach which wasn't a big deal. There wasn't any need to ask about the area they had just taken care of as Professor Airey explained he would let them know about it before anyone even had the chance to ask. This was good to know and she hoped all their efforts today hadn't been in vain, it really would be a shame if that were so. "Thanks Professors, this was fun. Tiring but fun," she laughed quietly giving them all her usual grin and a wave before grabbing her things and heading out. For now she would be hanging onto the uniform since it was all dirty. Afterwards she wasn't sure what she'd do with it. |
And they were back. Kitty tumbled forward (just like Ariadne) but this time threw her arms out in front of her to save her face from hitting the floor. "That was awesome Professor!" She stood, smiling, and tossed the hair out of her eyes. |
See? A little hard work never hurt anyone "Good work today! Thanks for having great attitudes and we're glad you enjoyed yourselves!" |
Back in the classroom, Jaemin had much the same experience as he had upon arriving at their worksite. His feet hit the floor, his tummy gave a tremendous squirm, and he let out a very concerned sound as he wobbled. However, it was much better now because... well he'd closed his eyes. It hadn't been quite as... awful. He decided, then and there, that he was much more comfortable just staying in places rather than traveling by portkey. It was uncomfortable. JUST. LIKE. BROOMS. He finally opened his eyes when Professor Flamsteed announced that class was over. Already?! No follow-up?! But Jaemin had questions. He let go of the shoe and scrambled after the Astronomy professor, extremely concerned, because he needed answers, you know! "Professor... er, professors? Was that place like that cause Muggles took all the plants away?" He wrinkled his nose, because why anyone would really want to do that was beyond him. "The thing about farming badly, and letting their animals eat everything... was it because of that?" |
Managing to arrive in the classroom somewhat smoothly, Esme dusted off her clothes. Time for her to get something to eat... as soon as that weird sensation in her stomach went away. Sometimes magical transportation could be more of a hassle than the muggle variety even if it WAS a lot faster. Muggles did amazing with what they had to work with and it was very impressive. "Thank you for the lesson, Professors. That was a lot of fun!" Could they do more field trips next term? Esme was game for that. She was also keeping the uniform. |
The reappearance in the Astronomy classroom went just a tad smoother for her than the departure and appearance in the field had. Once she had settled, Olivia let go, offering a small smile to Flamsteed at his complimentary words. “Thank you Professor,” she said as she made sure she had all her belongings like her clothes from before seeing as she was keeping her suit. It was Ravenclaw blue after all. “Goodbye professors,” she said, taking her leave of them and her classmates once they were dismissed. Time to get washed up and recover from her time out in the elements. |

But for now he needed to file the remaining bodies out of the classroom so he could close the doors and get back to some research. Which was precisely what he did as soon as the last student left the classroom. |
