not quoting either Yoongi was freaked out. Like.... seriously freaked out. O__________________O She knew that phobia of heights were real, when she was in primary school there was a kid who had the similar case with this but.... Okay, this one was soooo hilarious! The lioness tried not to laugh because it was bad to laugh at somebody who had a fear. But... Apparently she failed. HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! "I'm sorry...." She apologized and tried to hold back her laugh. Deep breath, girl. Deeeeeep..... breaaaaaath.... Okay. "But your face looks so funny when you're freaked out.." Don't judge her because it was totally true! Ava wished that she could take a picture of this guy's freaked out face, or maybe Bentley would do that since that boy loved to take pictures very much. But now he wanted to climb down already??? "You should stay for a while." She suggested. Because he HAD struggled to climb up here, so why he wanted to go down too quickly? Yoongi had to stay for at least.... five minutes, enjoying how fun being on top of the treehouse, or on top of the world maybe. "But that's up to you." Since the Slytherin girl had guided him ho to climb down from here. |

She pulled herself up a little more, propping her chin up on the floor. Oh! It was the boy from the train! "Sad." She could NEVER imagine being an only child. She shuddered at the thought. |

Show him a picture? WOAH WAIT HOLD ON. "Have you never seen a car before?" This guy needed HELP. "I have magazines that I can let you borrow. They'll tell you ALL you need to know." Not his really good brand-spanking new ones but his other ones. Car wouldn't mind, right? SEE? HE didn't know either! PSH. Try all of them? OKAY. "If I set the place on fire, you didn't see anything, okay? Kapeesh?" Phillip then cleared his throat and pointed his wand over towards the pile of leaves. Uh. If this went horrible wrong -- which it MIGHT -- he was RUNNING FOR IT. "Incendo! INCEEEEEEEEEEEEENDO! INSENSOOOOOOOOOO!" .................. Nothing. Not even a spark. Phillip glanced over at Bentley before crawling towards the pile of leaves. Nope. Nothing there either. "The spell doesn't work, Ben." |

Davie rolled over and spun himself around (this floor was SHINY and WELL-POLISHED, good work, groundsdude) so he was face to face with the speaker. Why she hadn't come all the way up into the tree was beyond him but then he recognized her. The climber from the train! "Don't be sad. You're nearly in a treehouse! That's no occasion to be SAD." Duhhhhhh. |
*mention of Phillip & Ben's fireventures too* ;) Quote:
Either way, he was going up, because well....why not? Who said Professors were too old to climb trees? His bones, for one thing, did remind him a little of that as he started up, but all too soon memories of climbing in his younger days were making it a second nature. He was about halfway up when two things happened. The first, was that he thought he heard someone yelling what sounded like a botched version of a fire incantation. The second, was that when he did twist his neck to have a look up, and see if he might be heading into a firestorm, there was a rather pink shoe to greet him. Right in the kisser too. Sabel's face scrunched up with the impact, a grunt leaving him as the shoe toppled off his face and to the ground below. Cracking open one eye, Sabel frowned at the little girl above him. The one that, his blurry vision did confirm, was one Dora Umbridge. Missing, a shoe. Well, he would be bringing the print of it up on his face. The shoe itself, would have to wait. Climbing the rest of the way up, Sabel plopped onto the boards beside Dora. He took a second to lean back, craning his neck to see if there was any smoke or fire anywhere. Not as of yet, so his attention turned to the ickle firstie. He pointed at his face. "Did you perchance loose something that looks something like this?" Because he was positive there was a dirt print on his face. |
Sabelll Okay... that was pretty funny. The shoe had hit him directly in the face and it was ALWAYS funny when someone got hurt. Always. The feet kicking continueD as she watched the professor climb up toward her. Hehe. He had done exactly what she had wanted him to. He was sweet that way... even if he didn't actually know she had wanted him to come up. When he plopped down beside her she smiled slightly at him and peered over the side. "Total accident, " she said as she looked down at the small pink dot on the ground. That was unfortunate. Without hesitation she used the toes of her socked foot to push the heel of the other shoe off and watched it drop to the ground as well. Problem solved. Now her eyes traveled back to his face and she reached over with her bare hand and tried to dust the shoe print off. Total accident... again. And maybe it was an accident that she poked a finger in his stupid deep dimple, too. MAYBE. UNCLE PROFESSOR DIMPLES. Unsure of what to say or do she just patted his cheek and looked back down toward the ground, her head was full of thoughts, but words didn't seem to come to her. Sighs. Was she in some kind of trouble for the man to have sought her out? She attempted to look little and innocent just in case. |
Hi Professor Dakest, nothing to see here Quote:
"Oh you have a sister too? How old is she? Mine is going to be three soon. Her name is Belle." "I have TOO seen cars!" Ben replied defensively. "And my dad has a bike, that goes really fast and is super cool. I've just never seen a Bentley car." He clarified. "Agreed. See what? What are you talking about?" See? He was good at this. "Stop Stoop Stoooooop! I remember!" He finally remembered. "It's Incendio!" Bwahahaha. Bentley cleared his throat and pointed his wand at the pile. "Take my camera and get a picture of this. It's going to be epic!" "Incendioooooo!" And there it was... "Fiyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" |
For Adelynn! As Colt was busy still getting his bearings around the grounds, he noticed for one thing this castle's grounds was HUGE. He would get lost easily if there wasn't any students around to know which place was which. As he explored some more he noticed there was a treehouse. He tilted his head and wondered what it was like inside. He began to climb up naturally because his cousins and him would always climb trees on their farm. Their parents wouldn't be too fond of it because they were worried about them breaking bones. Not that it hasn't happened. He had more of a chance breaking a bone playing a sport than climbing a tree. As he made his way to the top, he looked inside the treehouse and nodded. He could chill out here for a bit. Seems like he wasn't the only one because others were here too. |
SPOILER!!: Hady and Ava~ The looks on both of the girls faces suggested that they wanted to laugh at him. He saw it. It was written all over their faces and his suspicion got cleared when Ava did laugh. It was a loud and Yoongi’s upper lip curled up as he looked up at her. “Oh yeah SURE. Let’s laugh at the guy with a height phobia!” he said , rolling his eyes and then fixed them back on Ava with a glare. “How’d you feel if I start to laugh when you’re scared out of your mind HUH?!” honestly, he was never …insane…like this but this was serious. He wanted to get over his fear and he tried so hard and then this little KID laughs at him. Obviously, he was annoyed and he still wore the glare on his face when Hady spoke to him and told him to calm down and take deep breaths. He took one breath, a second, a third. “NOT HELPING” he shrieked and stood up from the treehouse floor. It had taken him nearly half a day to get back to his senses when his sisters forced him to take the elevator and go up the Eiffel tower in france. And now it was his turn to laugh. Monkey bar ha. “I’m fine with monkey bars, my fear isn’t THAT great that I can’t even sit on a monkey bar” ….as long as they were kids sized… A glare back at Ava. He should stay here for a while? It was like having two entities on his shoulder. The angel , Hady who offered better advice and Ava, the demon who offered to stay in his fear. And strangely he chose her advice. “Yeah, you’re right, I’m up here now if I quit now I’ll never get over it” and he walked to the edge, taking a deep breath and looked over the wooden railing and down. Merlin’s Beard that was HIGH. |

NO WAY. Hogwarts was officially the coolest school ever. She didn’t have anything like that back at Beauxbatons. She ran over to it and the rope ladder swung down. She smiled up at it and climbed her way to the top. Once she got up there, she saw a familiar face. She wasn’t sure if he would remember her, since it was a brief meeting. Either way, she approached him. “Hi! Colt, is it? I think we met at the feast.” She gave him a smile. |

He found some bean bag chairs and chilled in them. He invited Adelynn to do the same and gestured her over. |

So far life at Hogwarts was definitely an experience to say the least. But Adelynn was enjoying every minute of it. At the mention of the overwhelming feast, Adelynn nodded. "It was! I tend to favour more one on one time more than big groups anyway, to be honest." She said as she walked over to join Colt at the bean bag chairs and then sat next to him in one. Adelynn did tend to be more introverted as big groups seemed to stress her out at times. So she wasn't exactly a social butterfly but she was working on getting to know more people this year. She was a teen now, after all. And teens are supposed to be fun and hang out in big groups right? It always seemed that way. |
SPOILER!!: Ava and Yoongi As Ava laughed and laughed loudly at that Hady managed to keep herself in check. Laughing wasn't going to help the situation at all. She was proven correct on the matter when Yoongi began speaking about laughing when they were scared of something. Oddly enough he could laugh at her all he liked, there was noway she'd be telling them what she didn't like. However when she received a glare and a shriek that her suggestion wasn't helping she had to force herself not to glare right back. She was better then that. Though she did have to remind herself that he was afraid and probably didn't mean to yell at her...or well them (Ava too) for that matter. Pushing her hair back from her face the fourth year waited to see what the older boy wanted to do anyhow. And when he choose to remain up in the treehouse she simply nodded her head. Good for him for wanting to continue forward with getting over his fear. After her suggestions had been shot down and not exactly in the nicest of ways she opted to keep her mouth shut for now, if he wanted or needed her opinion or help he'd ask. However what she did do was turn around and rest her hands on the railing to look down over the side as she took several deep breaths letting each one out slowly. |

Haha, we'll see Mr. Bellaire-Moore ;) SPOILER!!: Fire-Kid SPOILER!!: Dora "Accident, huh?" Sabel mused as he watched her little toes wiggle off her second shoe and send it plummeting down below. He was pretty sure there were some rules in place about not littering over the side of the treehouse, just like there were in apartment buildings, but given there was no one below to get walloped, he let it go. "You might want to get that checked out. Looks like a habit waiting to happen." His serious business face was slowly working it's way into a smirk, however, as her little hands went to try and clean his face off. And do that annoying dimple-poke her mother had been so fond of. Merlin the apple hardly fell far from the tree. Or in this case, the pink shoe. It also made it mighty difficult to try and keep an ear on the rest of the treehouse and what he had thought was a fire spell in the making. He suspected he heard a cry of some sort of victory of some sort, but perhaps his ears were just getting old? For the moment, he was thoroughly distracted by the pouty face before him. All smiles one minute, all sadness the next. With a sigh, Sabel plopped his elbow on top of Dora's head, finding that her height made for the perfect arm rest. "What's up squirt?" |
Quote:
Did he mind that she had poked his dimple? Certainly he didn't since he hadn't swatted her away. She hugged the bars of the railing and LOOKED AROUND. "We're up so high... it's like nothing can hurt up here. " Right? They were unreachable, right? RIGHT. AHHHHHH!! Why was his elbow on her head? Siiiigh he was bigger and all important professor like so she could not really argue with him. Could she? Leaning into his side she SIGHED and pulled the letter from her pocket that Orlando had sent. "I miss my Mummy and Daddy. " |
SPOILER!!: The first-year stopped laughing once Yoongi looked so mad and freaked out. Okay, she knew that she wasn't supposed to laugh at people who had phobias. But she couldn't help because his freaking-out face was funny, like he wanted to wet his pants anytime soon. "I'm sorry, okay?" She said and showed her apologetic innocent grin. Ava glared at Yoongi when he snapped at the Slytherin girl. "She's just helping, you know?" And that's rude to snap at someone who's trying to help. "Maybe you're older, but sometimes you have to accept the help even from someone who is younger than you." Eyes on you, Yoongi something. Just because you're older it didn't mean that he knew better, right? Right. She didn't want to force him though. Feel free to climb down or stay there. And he chose to stay. "Great!" She grinned at the flower Yoongi boy. "I'm gonna go down and get some food. I'm hungry. I think you are big and brave enough to be here all by yourself." Then she started climbing down from the treehouse. Perhaps she should make a suggestion to Mr.Groundskeeper to build a slide or firefighter pole to help them go down from the treehouse because it's cooler and more fun than the ordinary ladder. |
SPOILER!!: Ava She was still a bit...angry herself but she was doing alright keeping her mood and emotions in check. So when Ava cast a glare at Yoongi and stood up for her she was a bit surprised. Glancing the girls way she semi shook her head, her hair falling into her face as she did. Not bothering to push her hair aside she let out a breath before speaking, "It's fine. No big deal. He's upset and stuff." Yeah maybe not the best reasons to snap at anyone but she understood it. She'd also just let it go. No point in making things worse right now. When Ava said she was hungry and leaving though Hady couldn't help but be confused though she didn't let it show. Why come all this way, climb up here and then leave? Strange but whatever. Sitting here was just good with her. And sitting here is what she was going to do whether or not they left or stayed up in the Treehouse with her. |
He should have been studying, or at the very least working on homework but this felt like one of those lazy saturdays where you were certain nothing would get done until tomorrow right before lessons for the Monday. Blaise had left the Common Room early enough that morning, with nothing but his quick quotes quill and notepad. He wasn't looking for a story but rather going over the content he'd gotten. It had started last night but his eyes had gotten heavy and with the window he'd left open by his bed allowing the warm evening breeze in, the boy had fallen asleep in no time. Currently he was laid flat on his back up in the Treehouse, chewing on jelly slugs while his notepad floated above him, giving optimum view of his notes. Occasionally it would flip to a new page once it was sure he was done which left him nothing to do but enjoy. Funny how he didn't remember anyone gazing 'longingly' at him but that might have been the reason that one girl nearly ripped his notepad apart earlier in the week. |
Oliver had explored almost all of the grounds, but had yet to venture inside the treehouse. A tragedy like that had to be rectified. Luckily it was an easy fix. After breakfast on Saturday, Olly made his way down to the grounds. It was early enough that it wasn't too busy yet, but he didn't think there would ever be a time when there weren't at least a few people milling about the Hogwarts grounds. He didn't blame them; it was a very nice place to be. As he approached the treehouse, Olly wondered how to get up there. There didn't appear to be a ladder, and the trees were not optimal climbing trees. As he got closer, however, a rope ladder dropped from above. Nice. Olly climbed up and up, finally pulling himself into the interior of the treehouse. It was just as awesome as he'd been expecting, but much bigger on the inside. Magic was awesome. Speaking of magic, Olly spotted a pen and paper floating above a boy's head. Oh hey, it was Blaise! Olly made his way over to the boy and sat on the ground next to him, criss cross applesauce. "Hi Blaise!" He greeted. "What'cha doin'?" |
SPOILER!!: Olly! Blaise had only just gotten through reading his accounts of last night's dinner conversations when he heard the rope ladder drop on its own. Naturally he took this to mean someone was coming and NATURALLY he hoped it wouldn't be some older kid demanding he leave the Treehouse because it was THEIR spot. It happened, first week at Hogwarts. He'd climbed back down so disappointed he didn't know what to do with himself for the rest of the afternoon--besides have his quill write a bad report about them. Thing was, he didn't know what to do with that article now so it was just sitting in his notepad with all his other memories of the term so far. Instant relief washed across his face when he realized it was only Oliver! Phew. All good. They were friends at least so he wouldn't try making him leave. "I'm just catching up on stuff my quill wrote this past week. It's all a lot more interesting than I remember it being." Which was half the fun of ever using a quick quotes quill. Yup. "I'm just about caught up by now I think." The boy didn't bother moving into a sitting position like his friend was but he did slide over his pack of jelly slugs. "Want some?" |
SPOILER!!: Blaise Huh? His quill wrote? Did that mean Blaise himself had not written it? Huh, he must have one of those cool Quick Quotes Quill. Nice. "Anything about me in there?" He bet he'd be even MORE exciting after a QQQ twisted everything. He hadn't seen Blaise much in the past week though, so he didn't have very high expectations. CANDY? Olly was always up for candy. Definitely. He grinned and took some of the slugs offered to him. "Thanks," he said enthusiastically. There was silence for a moment as the first year(s) ate. "How are you liking Gryffindor?" That's what Blaise had wanted, yes? At least someone was happy about the sorting. |
SPOILER!!: Dear Dora See, the thing was, Sabel had grown up saying weird things. It wasn't just an adult happenstance. It was a natural occurrence for him. So that look she was giving him, he was no stranger to it. Which, also happened to mean it didn't really bother him, as in he didn't really notice it. Kicking his feet a little, Sabel looked over the edge of the treehouse. Nothing could hurt up here? Which meant...something hurt down there. His gaze went to Droa, only to be greeted by the sight of a letter that she was suddenly holding. His elbow slipped from her head, so that his arm was wrapped around her shoulder. He gave her a side-hug at her words. "I miss your mom too." Her dad? Well, no. Not a bit. For his own reasons. "But there are little bits of here in Hogwarts, to keep you company. And I'm sure your dad....has his own ways of letting you know that he's around." |
Quote:
Sabel missed her mum too... this made her kind of sadder. "You knew her longer than me. She was awesome, right? " And really she already knew her mum was the best, but sometimes she liked to hear it. All of pauses at mention of her dad... oh well. Not everyone understood how amazing her father was. He was the best, nicest, and most loving person Dora had ever met despite the rough exterior. "Daddy writes all the time, but it's not the same. And Sirius isn't here either. That makes it harder, Uncle Sabel. " |
SPOILER!!: Dora It was hard to say 'no', to a kid that he had usually ended up saying 'yes' to. Especially when it came to hugs. Problem came when he wanted to maintain some image of a tough exterior. It was rather difficult, when a Dora was trying to make him look like a big ol' softie. An even bigger problem when a sigh left him and he didn't put up a fight. Indeed his own thoughts were snagging on memories of Lex. There was a good mixture of them, all the way from the wonderful to the completely ugly. They had shared their differences, and not been quiet about it. "She was a spitfire. One of a kind." Her father on the other hand, well he was impressed the man knew how to write. A good thing though. It would have been heartbreaking if Dora had nothing to hold onto of her family. He gave the girl's shoulder a gentle squeeze. "It'll get easier. Soon you'll be having so much fun making trouble, that you'll never want to leave Hogwarts." |
