SPOILER!!: boy down, BOY DOWN Most people in this situation would be able to have a civilized conversation. Raised voices would happen, sure, but the last thing you would expect would be a tackle. You see, AJ marches by the beat of her own drums and it was safe to expect the unexpected when it came to her. One could never accuse her of being dull. Benny was flat on his back which meant that AJ Valentine still had it. Being able to knock down a boy that was two years older than you might come in handy for a resume. In fact it could show that she would have no problem taking care of magical creatures. Her cup was always half full. Anyways, an interrogation needed to happen. He didn't want to. AJ didn't want to hear NONE OF THAT. "Oh, and I guess somebody twisted your arm and MADE you do it then." Because it seemed like he had all the choices in the world. If he would have done the breaking up over the summer then Angel could of had some time to process it. Matter of fact, arm twisting sounded like a pretty good idea to get some answers. That helpful little tidbit was stored for later, Benny. Just in case he wasn't forthcoming. He didn't want to do it in a letter. Well, that was kind of him. No, he was the enemy. All she could see right now was a hurt sister. AJ eased back out of his face a bit, but made no move to actually get up off of him. She got it.... Pretending would never be something she would want for anybody. What kind of life was that? "Why though?" This was make it or break it for him right now. "What happened?" Say it was for another girl and Benny and his new love interest was going to get it. |
"No...no one did," Benny assured AJ with a shake of the head. He couldn't tell how serious she was with the comment but he knew it wasn't that way. He also was sure he wasn't going to tell her about his and Adi's conversations about it over the summer. This was his battle...he wasn't dragging his bestie into a fight with him and the best friend's girl. The seventh year saw her move at least her head away from him, but her smaller form was still mostly on top of him. Benny couldn't help but sigh at the questions placed before him. Like they got any easier in having an answer over time. "Because..." the older Gryffindor started to say, his mind shruggling to choose the right words. "Because things have been happening that have made me question our future." He hoped he didn't have to dig up details. "As I told Angel...after much thinking...I felt we needed some time not being a couple...a test of sorts...to make sure we weren't just together because we were together." Did that make sense? Could she see that he had been trying to make sure their lives turned out for the best...even if they weren't meant to be? |

Patting the ground, she invited Hady to lay beside her. "The sky is really pretty! Come on! It wont hurt you to take a lay with me!" Because it wouldnt annnnnd because she was awesome and wanted her to be awesome with her. |

"Uh...yes...," he admitted. Apparently it was NOT as common knowledge among students as Sir Nicholas had let on. "Up on the 6th floor." The professor dragged his feet against the ground to stop his swinging. "Fancy a bit of a field trip, Mr. Barrington?" |
SPOILER!!: No matter if the temperature had begun to drop, one could always count on Reagan Penrose to be out and about on the grounds; running and doing her morning yoga. According to the Ravenclaw, a healthy and happy body could only be achieved by living a healthy and happy lifestyle. Of course, those things could only be had if one took care of themselves; regular exercise, a balanced diet, a positive attitude...All aspects that were important. She was SUCH a hippy; Hufflepuff in her beliefs almost. If was during one of these runs...that Rea had come across Keane perched atop the monkey bars. He was such an interesting person. When she'd met him in Diagon Alley weeks before returning to school, she'd gotten that shifty, mysterious vibe from him...and now, she knew that had not been wrong. She didn't mind it, of course. These types of people were her favorite; unpredictable, exciting...Never a dull moment. ...but just to be safe, she approached with caution. Enjoyed or not, Reagan wasn't daft. "Keane, what are you doing up there?" |
SPOILER!!: Noelle Laying on the ground and looking up at the sky was a superhero thing? Well then Hady must've been a superhero long long before she even knew it. There was loads of times she laid outside here on the grounds either beneath a tree, across one of the benches or just on the grass. It didn't take much asking on the younger girls part for her to give in. With a small laugh Hady sat herself down on the ground before laying back beside Noelle, her arms folded beneath her head. "Oh I know, I lay on the ground all the time." And once or twice a classroom floor while waiting for a lesson to begin. Swinging her gaze from the younger girl beside her to the sky she watched several clouds pass by slowly before moving a hand from behind her head and pointing straight upwards. "See that cloud there, what's it look like to you?," she asked questioningly. To her it looked like a crown but she was curious to know if Noelle saw it too. |

And you can't swear on things other people didn't know about. It was like crossing your fingers behind your back while you made promises. He used to do that with his little sister then his mum told him it was cheating. What was she talking about a boy that was standing there just now? THERE WAS NO BOY, HE WOULD HAVE NOTICED!! "I didn't see a boy." The 11 year old offered quietly, settling into a false calm. "There might not have been a boy. I don't know." Brown eyes scanned the immediate area but there were now tons of people. "What'd he look like?" |

Well, then, if this girl was ok with Maisie stepping on her back then she shouldn't feel bad. Whats the worst that could happen between her standing on Kaycee's back? Nothing bad, especially if she already had her hands on the bars. "Good to know, Kaycee. Is this the formal way to greet someone here at Hogwarts?" It wasn't too vital that she knew what house Kaycee was in, or year, she seemed cool enough for the moment. Suppose that's how everyone becomes friends here. There. She was insisting now. Maisie nodded at the girl and settled onto stepping on Kaycee's back. Eventually she had her fingers curled around the bars and she was doing her best to lift herself up. "25." Barely pull up. If anyone was coming by they would be |
Quote:
She shrugged. "Everyone seems to always include it in their introductions, so I've started to too." A prime example of doing whatever everyone else was doing. She held her position as the girl climbed on her back. She glanced over her shoulder and up. "You're on 25 already?" she asked. |

"Awesome" And a field trip where too. This was getting way more interesting than Dante ever thought when he came to the playground today. Who would have figured this to happen "A field trip to where and yeah i'm in" He had nothing better to do right now. |
Back from vacay!! Sorry for the late replies! Lets do disss! SPOILER!!: All of you xD Adi always had the nice comeback at him and he couldn't help but laugh with him too."The only time I was made to wear a dress and a wig was at Professor's Botros class man.No way I'm going back into wearing them! Count me out coz' it'll be the last you ever saw me in that, but you do look fetching in a dress too,Adi! You're not bad-looking yourself, just need a little shave and you're good to go." *BEAMS* Oh they were definitely on! Henric tried his best to defend his goal area but became distracted when Adi shouted llia's name from behind."What? Where?" he asked and turned around. It took him a few seconds when he realised Adi had outsmarted him and managed to bypass his defensive post. He kicked the ball and scored! WHAT?! Nooooo!*sigh* Score one for Adi."That was a lucky shot!" Henric folded his arms across his chest, frowning slightly. Ava had came by and begging them if she could join the match as well, he agreed and nodded his head."Sure thing kid!" His jaw dropped when Adi told them who were they teaming up with. llia in the same team as him? B-but..."It's a chance you get to be closer with llia, right...take this chance, you old sod!" His self-conscious thought roared at the back of his mind. "Umm...okay..let me just call her in,"Henric said before waving towards llia to join them."Hey llia! Come join my team! We're short of players!" |
<3 Sorry for the wait xx SPOILER!!: Colt Swinging back and forth, as she gained more and more height, Marsha smiled at him. ”It’s lovely to meet you Colt!” She looked at him but kept swinging, she wanted to see how high she could go - maybe she could see over the top of the bar when she swung backwards if she kept going? Maybe? Surely that was possible, it wasn’t THAT high. ”Yeah? That’s awesome. Two of my aunts are in their Seventh year in Slytherin. Blonde twins…” She nodded her head a little, not really expecting him to know them especially if he had just transferred here from Durmstang. ”What was Drumstrang like? I have family all over Europe but most of us all came to Hogwarts and then moved abroad to study and things.” That, or her great-aunts and uncles had moved but then decided to keep her aunts and uncles all at Hogwarts with the rest of their family. Heh, her family was ridiculous… She at least knew that so tried to keep her descriptions to the minimum. No point in confusing everyone. Marsha couldn’t help but nodding at his decision. ”Oh, it is lovely! I agree… And it does making running that little bit better, as the scenery is gorgeous.” She stopped pushing herself higher, letting the momentum slowly ebb. ”Oh, running around here is awesome. You can pretty much go wherever you want to and the views will be amazing... But if you want to, you’re more than welcome to join me one day?” She wouldn’t feel bad if he said no, but the offer was there. |

Noelle beamed as Hady got down beside her and laid with her. She could do a sand angel right now if she wanted, only problem was, she didnt want to. TOo much sand in places she just didnt want it to go. Noelle copied Hady and folded her hands behind her head. She gazed up at the sky. Hearing Hady, she followed up finger and saw a cloud that looked like a crown. 'OH ITS A CROWN!!! ITs mine!! Because...im Queen of Cute." Noelle exclaimed and beamed as she looked over at Hady. |
SPOILER!!: Marsha :3 He nodded to her to tell her it was nice to meet her too. Wait a minute she had aunts? He titled his head and wondered who they could be. "What are their names?" I mean she didn't look young to have aunts but he wanted to know. What was Durmstrang like? He opened his mouth and closed it because he wanted to think about it. After a few minutes, he began with "Well Durmstrang is a great school for the dark arts as you heard from your family. The teachers are like really strict and expect a lot of you. They have high expectations which is why I am always on top of the lessons well try to be. The school life was kind of hard at first because it seemed cliquey. I mean I had trouble making friends and no one liked the new kid. I liked exploring but it always got too cold." All in all what did he think about Durmstrang? "I am kind of glad I left because I like these grounds way better and the food is better." he joked but it was the truth. The house elves were wayy better chefs. She offered him to go running. Bloody merlin he was in. "Yeah I'm game." he nodded at her. "Just send me an owl and I will be there to run. I love running early in the morning before the sun is up. I like seeing the sunrise." Something about seeing it makes Colt have a good day. "Good thing I brought my running gear." he joked. "Are you an avid runner?" he asked. He needed to know what he was dealing with. |
I'll post us in there *rubs hands together* Quote:
Kicking his legs a bit to gain just enough altitude to make jumping worthwhile, the astronomer clutched Pebbles close to his chest and took the leap. Totally stuck the landing as well. Turning round to face the Slytherin, he gave a nod towards the castle. "To the 6th floor then," he saluted as he began making his way back towards the castle. Mr. Barrington was following, yes? |
SPOILER!!: Noelle Hady cast a side-ways glance over at the younger girl laying on the ground beside her. It was hard to miss that huge smile on the kids face. What was it with all the little firsties this term with those large beaming bright smiles and grins? It was kinda cute and it somewhat made her wonder if she had been that way when she was a first year. For some reason she didn't think so. After pointing at the cloud she thought appeared to be a crown she once more returned her arm to under her head. A small laugh being heard from her as Noelle confirmed for her that the cloud was indeed a crown. And what? It was hers? The cloud or the crown? Hady was a bit confused for just a second in time until the kid continued one. Queen of cute huh? "M' I suppose I can't really disagree on that so sure it can be yours." Hady nodded her head in conformation. Whatever made the girl happy for now. |
Time to De-Clone! Quote:
"Lead the way Professor" And off they were to the Castle and fireworks! |
SPOILER!!: Benny Boo "Exactly my point. This was all YOU." He could have decided another outcome. Even if he didn't want to break up over a letter and was adamant of doing it face to face, he should have come up with a better solution. There was always a better way. Yeah, she didn't exactly have room to talk because she was pretty much known for making bad or rash choices, but this wasn't about her right now. Nope, the focus was fully on Benny. Okay. This really wasn't her business, and normally AJ would never pry, but where her sister was involved she really couldn't help herself. "Like... another girl?" She didn't need to know all of the details, but she wanted to make sure it wasn't something like that. To show that she only wanted the truth she took Benny's right arm and twisted it a bit as she held it behind his head. Now, her face was inches away from his again. "You better be real with me." Because the twisting could get a whole lot worse. What? No, AJ didn't understand this one bit. Why did someone need a test for that? "I love Adi, and I know I want to be with him forever so I don't get the whole test thing." And furthermore did that mean that he was just stringing her sister along and filling her head with false hopes? Like, maybe he would get back with her, and maybe he wouldn't? AJ's irritation level was even higher at this point. Playing with her sister's emotions... some people had a lot of nerve! |
Maybe the break up was all him but Angel's own behavior hadn't helped it. That's what ahd all come up with his talk with Adi. She wasn't as invested in their relationship as one might feel seeing her tears on the train. What other solution had been there to the issues that were developing between them. "What....no!" he said in surprise, taken aback by the question, as well as her proximity. "There's no other girl I've had feeling for but Angel." They just weren't as seemingly strong as they were before. The older Gryffindor hadn't realized she went for his arm until she went to move it, twisting it a little causing him to grit his teeth and struggle. "If you don't believe me...then you don't even know me." He could never be that type of person...the one tossing someone they loved aside just for another that came along. Didn't he have this whole problem last term when he thought Adi had done that to him with Henric? And then she brought up her and Adi, almost unknowingly comparing the two relationships. "Exactly...we're NOT you and Adi. We've never been THAT close. Even I'm certain as a bystander that your relationship will last." Marriage...potentially kids...after surviving two years separated by school. "I do not feel that with me and Angel." Sighing, he tried to look away as best he could hiding the emotion in his eyes, including the possible moisture there. |
SPOILER!!: *dies inside* The utter surprise on his face made AJ feel a little bit better. He seemed sincere in his answer, and she relaxed a teensy bit. There wasn't an issue regarding another girl, and AJ didn't have to actually hurt him. Ouch. The next statement out of his mouth cut right threw her. This whole time she had been only seeing Angel's side and coming to her defense, and not even taking into consideration how Benny must be feeling, and she did know better. Her anger faded and guilt replaced it. "I do know you..." she practically whispered. Conflicting feelings were happening, and AJ for once was having a hard time trying to decide what to do. What was the right thing when you didn't want to hurt either one of them? Only, she obviously had already hurt Benny by her doubts. There was that pain in her gut again. Way to pour salt on an open wound, AJ. She was so good at this that maybe she should consider becoming a counselor... yeah, right. Big money in that for her. PFFT. Just when she thought she couldn't hurt him further, he spoke again. Oh no. That's not what she meant. "I didn't mean to compare us." And yet thinking back on it now, it definitely sounded like that. He didn't feel that way with Angel... So, really he was doing to best thing for her by letting her go and not stringing her along only for her to be hurt worse in the long run. Benny was a good guy. This was something that she always knew to be true, and yet she let her over protectiveness consume her and cloud her judgement. Everybody should have a love like hers and Adi's. Why settle for less? Nobody should ever had to. AJ looked down at him, and OH NO. Was that the beginning of tears? Her heart broke. The brunette let go of his arm and gave him a hug. "I'm sorry, Benny. You and my sister deserve the best... even if it means that you guys have to find that separately." Gulp. "I should have given you the chance to explain before...before..." AJ looked around as she released Benny from her hug. "...this." |
<3 Colt / Steph [ p.s. the twins aren't on SS - just mine XD ] SPOILER!!: Colt Jaymie and Rayne Ward? She told him. They both have really white-blonde hair, blue eyes, are way taller than me and have Londoner accents rather than my Welsh one…” AKA, if you didn’t KNOW they were related, you wouldn’t KNOW they were related, as the only thing they had in common were their blue eyes… and lets face it - a lot of people at Hogwarts had blue eyes and weren’t related. Technically they weren’t her aunts - though her Uncle Blake had graduated the June just before she started in the September. Marsha nodded along as he told her about the school and while it DID sound strong and amazing in some aspects, it also sounded rubbish and cold and gloomy in others. Really, she was glad that she was going to Hogwarts over it… Maybe if she had grown up closer to the school and in Eastern Europe that would have been different.. but as it was - she was really really happy to be here. Faces abounded, but ultimately she smiled at the boy as he said the food was better. ”The elves here are amazing.” She said with a nod. ”Awesome!” She said with a huge beaming smile at him. She loved running with other people. This was going to be awesome - especially if she could run with him and with Rea… maybe there were others who wanted to go too? Hmmm… How could she find that out? ”Yeah, Rea and I like running in the morning too… especially if it is before it gets busy and everyone else wakes up.” Nodding and smiles. ”Oh yes! I love it. I try to go most days of the week, and I’ve found a few different trails that are really different so I don’t get bored…. You’re more than welcome to come with me tomorrow if you want?” Again, no pressure - but the offer was there. |

"I have no problem sharing crowns." Noelle grinned at Hady. '{b]My mum calls me Queen of Cute. She calls me a lot of things, but that's one of the ones she calls out to me most." Noelle said giving the girl another grin, this one a little sad because she missed her mum loads. Homesick. Noelle tried not to concentrate on that though. She looked back up at the sky to see what else she could see. "Do you see that?]/b]" She asked pointing to a cloud that looked like a dragon. |
SPOILER!!: Conflicted Sister Was that a change in her expression? Benny just barely heard her quiet words. Well knowing him meant knowing that he wasn't doing this all selfishly. That it took a lot out of him to even consider the break-up let alone actually following through with it. And it didn't matter if AJ had meant it the way it might have sounded to him an any random bystander, but there was a knowing feel that the two relationships were comparable. And in the end...found quite different in ways. Benny was ashamed of his visible feelings...of the tears that threatened to fall as they rested upon his eyes while he lay on the ground looking up at the fifth year that he hadn't felt he could really displace in her anger and negative feelings towards hum. But alas he soon found himself free, at least his arm, one moment, and then embraced in a hug the next moment. The older Gryffindor tentatatively moved his own arms around her in response so it wasn't one sided and she didn't feel he didn't appreciate the gesture. But it was definitely an awkward position to be in for sure. And mildly overshadowed by AJ's appology towards him only followed by more words that made him feel even the tiniest bit better about things. "It's alright AJ," he assured her, releasing her as well. "I didn't expect anything less from you because you're a good sister. To be honest I hung out with Adi and the badgers at the opening feast concerned about how you'd react." That would have been the last thing they needed. Drama in front of the full school. They already had that with Ian a few years before. |
Adi, Ava, and Henric! <3 Ilia was standing and watching the boys, not far away but just enough so that she wouldn't get struck by a stray football. She wasn't sure if they were playing solo today or what the plan was, as she watched with books in her arms. A little firstie lion (Ava) waved at her , she knew that she did not yet know the girl, but waved back to her. And the boys were taunting each other again.......the thought of Henric dressed as a woman was not something she wanted to picture in her mind and frowned a little. Nope, that wouldn't look good. Adi was beckoning to her and waving her in closer, so she bowed in acknowledgement and walked closer, setting her satchel and book down in a safe spot on the edge of the playing area. Henric beckoned to her as well, and she was playing on his team? "Okay." She tied her long gold locks back into a ponytail and took her school robes off, to reveal black slacks and a grey longsleeve top underneath. That was a bit better. Joining by Henric's side, she smiled shyly. "I'm sorry if we lose." She knew that she wasn't the best at it, but she still liked playing with her boys. |
SPOILER!!: Noelle Hady turned her head to give Noelle a small grin before going back to looking at the clouds once more. "That's alright, you can have the crown I don't need it." She gave a small laugh. Crowns weren't exactly her thing anyhow. Unless maybe it was green and silver then she'd consider it. Maybe. "That's cute. I don't have many nicknames," the fourth replied evenly. Not unless Hady, Hades or Big Snake counted for anything. And well there was always Princess which her father called her but she wasn't about to tell that to Noelle or anyone else for that matter. So when they went back to talking about what the clouds looked like she was happy with that. Even if she had taken noticed to the touch of sadness in the younger girls grin she left it unspoken. No point in making things worse. Following where Noelle pointed she answered without any hesitation, "A dragon. That's clearly a dragon." One couldn't miss seeing a dragon even if it was only a cloud shaped one. |
