He nodded to the two options she had debated. Both where not bad and looked like she was getting the potion ready. Dante took out his little whatever that had the scale of the snake and added it to the potion. Well this was not going to taste very good was it.

"Ready"

He followed what she was doing and drank it at the same time.

DIGUSTING.

"Gah, that was gross. I hope this is immediate"

He stared at Hady hoping to see a change in her and began to feel something.

Not sure what it was. But something was happening.

He liked snakes but didn't have one. That was good with her at least he appreciated them. "A toads cool. It'd be awesome if we were able to bring snakes here I hate leaving Aime at home." It really didn't make sense to her why she couldn't bring him.

Hady watched him as he got his own potion ready her gaze shifting away as she drank it down. As she waited for it to take affect she couldn't help but laugh in agreement with him. "That was pretty terrible huh?" The potion obviously. Just as she opened her mouth to say something else she stopped speaking, a weird feeling overcoming her that she couldn't quite explain. It didn't really hurt but it wasn't exactly pleasant either.

Biting the inside of her cheek to suppress a soft groan she knelt down onto her knees in the grass closing her eyes. The change wasn't immediate but it didn't take more then maybe a minute or two as Hady began to shrink down in size, her skin and clothing changing into silky smooth brownish fur and large ear grew on top of her head.

Within the minute she was a brownish colored fox almost black like her hair. Blinking a few. Times Hady twisted her head around looking for Dante before realizing she needed to look up at him. "Dante?,"she questioned peering up at him with a set of hazel eyes only it came out sounding more like a confused tiny yipping sound.

Oh gosh was this weird.

Well. Yes there was. One singular 'A.' She was scared for his reaction. He had seemed so happy when there were multiple 'I's in the last round. He might just flip the board over if she were to tell him the bad news. She braced herself, like ripping off a band-aid...

Without saying a word she marked the paper and handed it over to him and shielded her face. Maybe she should have picked something easier, like "Sugar Quills" or "I hate potions."

Actually this was REALLY WEIRD.

Was that a compliment or some weird way of telling her what she already knew? Either way if she'd have been human she would've rolled her eyes and gave a snarky teasing comment back however she wasn't. So she couldn't. Therefore she had to settle for what was a quiet huff and a tip of her head as she stared at him.

This was so so weird. Being able to flick her eyes about as she heard different sounds everything being so much clearer. The view of everything from being so low to the ground was completely different as well and she could easily see the brightness of each flower and smell the beautiful scents of each one as the breeze blew by. It was amazing.

Only one problem...Hady slowly got to her feet or well um paws. One by one as she tested her strength. A bit wobbly at first but she managed, hesitantly lifting a paw to take a step toward Dante as she watched him changing before her eyes. Another st- And down she went! Paws sprawled out in front of her as she promptly fell flat on her face. Ompf! Ouch!

Still laying down with her paws out in front of her she blinked her hazel eyes at the snake before her. Watching him closer as he slithered nearer to her she tentively lifted a paw testing it out as she nudged him as gently as she could for a fox in training.

If she could laugh right now she would be.

Warning bells went off in this Hufflepuff's head the second his best friend fixed him with a deadpan stare. Oh no. Whoopsie daisy. He'd said something really really wrong and now she was mad and it was very difficult to talk her down when you had a talent for saying the wrong thing. Really, most times, he just ended up making it worse. A million times worse. Like now. Now was a pretty good example.

Eyes wide, he reached across the picnic basket and squeezed her arm that was closer to him. Difficult, considering that they were wrapped around her knees, but he tried. "I would never, ever do that," he said quietly. "Really. I've never lied to you." And it was true. He hadn't. He'd just selectively omit things she might not want to hear but even that was rare and he didn't like doing it.

And he would never leave her for dead just because he was hungry. He had priorities! He would try save her first and then go eat with her after she was definitely safe. Honestly, he was pretty insulted that she would even suggest such a thing and it showed. She wounded him.

Hady blinked her eyes as she watched Dante/Snake slither closer. What was he doing? His head hit her paw and it was the oddest feeling. She knew how a snake felt against her skin as a human but now she had fur and the contact wasn't exactly like how it used to be.

Flicking her eyes and a tilt of her head she opened her mouth to yip at him in reply to his hisses. What in the world was he saying?! And why was he slithering away now?! Confused that's what she was alright.

Hady at first just stared after him trying to figure it out. Dante had slithered over, headbutted her paw, hissed and then slithered away. She got it! He was playing. Shifting around she slowly got to her paws once more, lowering her front down low as she watched him, tail flicking back and forth in a playful manner. With a series of different yips she attempted to dart after him on wobbly paws stumbling about.

It took a couple of attempts of falling and getting up until she pounced at him. Gently of course seeing as she knew she'd likely harm if she wasn't careful. She laid on the ground with a front paw stretched out over his middle and yipped at him, a smug look on her little fox face as if saying, "Gotcha!"

Upon closer thought on this though she supposed their human forms would've made it a million times more strange just then. With a small shake of her head and a blink of her eyes to clear the thoughts away she watch Dante for a moment. What now?

Would he try to chase her even if she could easily outrun him? Probably not. Hmph.

Plopping down on her belly on the grass she laid her head on her paws so she was able to easily look him in the face or well whatever. Giving it some silent though she crawled closer once more and nudged him with the tip of her furry paw and put her head down again so she was once more as low to the ground as she could.

Yipping quietly at him again she nudged him once more. How about a ride? Could be fun if he didn't fall over of anything like that...he could hold on though if he was wrapped around her right like she did with her snake at him. Normally Aime would be draped around her neck and then wrap himself down her arm or well in this case it would be a leg but it could work. They did still have time to waste since the potion lasted about an hour or so.

Adi laughed heartily. "You can use magic too!'' Ahhh! Now he too was soaked but this had all been worth it. He shook his head furiously, sending more water all around. "That's impossible, Ava!'' There was no way that she could swim before she could walk but he did appreciate the fact that she wanted to go swimming. Competitive swimming, that is.
Goody! It seemed that Ava DID know how awesome her sister was. Again, Adi could stress to himself how much he missed the girl. Her and Beverly.

Hmph. How disappointing the Mr Bart was no where around. "Maybe another time? We could always check back. He's bound to be around sometime.'' Didn't want to discourage the firsties, ya know. But then... FOOD! "Sounds like an awesome idea, Ava! Let's go. Wanna sit at the Hufflepuff table? You can be an honourary Puffer for the day.'' To the Castle they went!

Go!, Hady the Fox, Go!

Staying low to the ground in a laying down position Hady the Fox didn't move. Okay well her eyes were flicking back and forth as she listened to every sound around them. She still couldn't get over how cool it was to hear the chirping of the birds so well and smell the scent of the flowers so perfectly.

She was broken from her enjoyment by Dante the snake slithering closer. Whoa he was seriously taking her up on the whole piggy back offer?! Hady was honestly a bit surprised and didn't expect him to but she she didn't mind one bit.

Remaining as still as she could and only turning her head to try to look at him and make sure he was alright. Receiving a hiss from her snake companion she assumed he was ready and Rose to her paws slowly.

Hady could feel him wrapped around her neck and the difference his weight caused to her balance. So taking a few tentative steps forward to test things out she made a few simple playful yipping barking type sounds before she took to a slow run. One paw and then the other slowly and then faster but not so much he'd fall off.

Since they had both time and space she ran about through the grass near the lakes edge and around the trees. She'd ask him if he was having a good time if she could only right now it come out in a bunch of hyper yips.

Candice? Candice. Not Candy Candice. Candice onlythen. "Okaaay, Candice" If that was she wanted, then Owen would oblige easily. He respected people's preferences and whatnot.

More potato chip munching. Owen nodded. Hmm. No favorite candy because she didn't like sweet things. That explained the choice of granola. Granolas didn't typically have strong taste. It probably only had a moderate amount of honey. "What do you like then? Salty foods? Spicy ones?" Also, since she agreed on the house elves' ability to cook. "What's your favorite breakfast meal made by the house elves so far?" They were talking about food. So fun!

Winking Leo said "I'm glad that I could be of service and save you a trip to the shops." And for the record he did NOT know that his girlfriend had filled up the last page of her current diary. He was not that kind of boyfriend. Leo respected Cassie's privacy. At the Nessa news Leo said heartfelt. "We miss Nessa too. I'm glad that she likes her new job. but I'm sad that she broke up with Harvey." The few times he had met the other guy during double dates, he had seemed all right but honestly Leo wasn't exactly updated on how the relationship had been, that was totally and fully Nessa and Cassie territory. He didn't intrude in girl talk, unless he was dragged into it involuntarily. Cassie's last comment made him blush and reach out to pet her arm before he let go to grab a sandwich from off the plate. "Sadly I don't have any male siblings in Nessa's age, just sisters." Taking a big bite of the sandwich Leo mumbled "Delicious." before he really dug into the sandwich.

Shrugging Leo said "We'll see, David seems to like reading so that's a plus that will help him in his studies and classes." Hopefully he had inherited many of his mother's good traits. Luckily not the love for everything PINK though it seemed. Shaking his head he said "I wouldn't worry about the lack of noise. The students are probably just focusing on their studies instead of causing trouble and will surprise you later by doing something unexpected like turning the room of serenity into a karaoke party." Even if it was highly unlikely.

Those were almost the exact same words her dad said to her once. Now that she was older, Timmy was understanding things more. She would tell her mum about it, had she sent all those letters that were stored away in her nightstand. She didn't move either. but she did accio herself a sandwich and ate it. Maybe her moods were all over the place because it was that time for her. Was it always going to be like this? How annoying. She definitely hadn't signed up for this.

THIS WAS A NIGHTMARE and will be extremely awkward once they potion wore off. More awkward then the thing that happened in the bathroom with Phillip that he wont ever talk about again. Dante wanted hands again. Like it was the one thing he wont stop complaining about.

He kept on hissing. Want her to stop. But it could have been taken as he enjoying it. Which HE WAS NOT.

Hissing. There was hissing happening and clearly it wasn't coming from her the fox. Which only meant that her partner was the one making the sound. Being that he didn't stop Hady took this as a bad sign and instantly slowed coming to a stop.

Or well it was supposed to be a stop only she wasn't used to having four paws and stumbled about. Skidding and crashing down on her stomach she somehow managed to NOT crush Dante as she fell. Since she was down though she stayed that way lowering herself the rest of the way to the grass to let him off her back if he wanted, her tongue hanging out the side of her mouth in a lazy grin as she tried to catch her breath.

Totally awkward yes but clearly very much okay for a fox. Only she didn't stay a fox much longer as the effects of the potion began to wear off and her bones moved to shift back into their proper place. The dark brown fur disappeared as she turned back into herself, the real Hady sitting there in the grass. Blinking a few times to get her bearings back on track she ran her hand through her tangled her pushing it from her face and ignored any dirt that may have been on her as well as the slight pain from the shift back. A quick glance at Dante the snake to see if he was alright and then she looked away with a quiet, "Erm thanks for uh being my partner...are you uh okay?"

Yeah this was so totally weird and very awkward. Hady wouldn't blame him one bit if he disappeared and didn't speak to her again...at least she'd stopped running and let him down before she changed back. It could've been very very bad otherwise.

She remembered the last time someone was calling her Candy, she decided to use the Water-Making Spell on them. Come to thin about it its Adi, the Hufflepuff Prefect that called her that. But not like Owen who still has manner and asking her about calling her Candy, Adi did not. That's why no Water-Making Spell for Owen. See, she's not wrong. The boy understood, he's back calling her Candice again.

She wondered how many bags of potato chips did he eat a day? Probably a LOT. What kinds of food she liked? Hmm. Let's see here. "Healthy foods. Vegetables, fruits, whole grain, Whole-Wheat Bread." What else? "Oh and granola." Yes don't forget the granola. "What's yours?" Surely a food lover such himself has one or two favorite foods, right? Or he just liked all kind of foods. Her favorite breakfast that made by the house elves? "Tofu Scramble." That's one yummy dish. "You?"

"You have excellent taste." Of course he'd pick the perfect color for her diary and the perfect style. They had been dating over two years now, so he knew her pretty well. A little pfft noise came from her at the name of Harvey, "Well I'm not, Nessa could do better. I just hope she finds someone that will make her as happy as she deserves." She didn't seem happy with him so it was a much needed thing, but it was still sad too.

Her sad thoughts soon turned into a giggle, Leo could be the sweetest at times. "OHMYGOD, that would have been perfect if you did! Then we could possibly be real sisters!" She giggled a little more knowing it really didn't matter, they were sisters in a sense and she tried that real thing before when Nessa dated her brother. It didn't workout so well.

She felt his hand on her arm and smiled sweetly, but then reached for her own sandwich taking a bite. She looked around at the students before turning her eyes back to him. "Well hopefully I have a chance to get to know the young man. Any child of Annie's has to be just a gem." She had no doubt that David would probably be a bright young man. "Yes you are right it probably is that they are studying, though the beginning of term is for socializing if you ask me." She grinned knowing that wasn't the teacher thing to say, but she knew children needed that part of school too.

Taking in a slow breath and holding it for a moment she slowly exhaled. Lifting her head she took notice to Dante changing back to how he should be. How she was used to him. This was going to be weird now.

At his confirmation that he was indeed fine Hady gave a nod of her head. That was good. If one thing was to come from this she was glad she hadn't hurt him at all. "I'm okay." She gave him the typical Slytherin grin. See totally okay over here.

Surely she'd be sore and most likely bruised in the morning from all those tumbles bit nothing she couldn't cope with. Just like the piggyback ride, she could forget about it if he could, if he wanted. Totally act like it never had taken place. Whatever made things easier.

"Uh...so what was it like being a snake? It looked like it was tough getting the hang of moving around." She was curious really if it was as difficult as it had looked to be.

Paul had on old clothes. His pants were rolled up because he was knee deep in the lake, taking collections of seaweed he could find in here...and some algae, too. All in the name of HERBOLOGY.

He waded out of the water, jar in hand, full of water and seaweed and whatnot, and flopped onto the towel he had spread out. It was VERY cold...probably TOO much....luckily, magic. MAGIC helped out...he had made sure to protect his skin from the cold. The sun was at least out today, shining down on Paul and making him feel so happy.

"What a day...what a day." He mumbled to himself.

Hugo was excited that the spell had worked and with that feeling he stayed a while in the treehouse before finding another place to go. He definitely was going to keep trying that spell with his gummies but later on because now he wanted to try something else.

The boy got up and made his way to the lake, he sat down near the shore and grabbed a pebble. Could he turn this into a globet? Sure was going to be difficult but whatever. Or better yet into a matchbox or a mushroom? Hmm. The view was cool though. He decided to turn it into a mushroom. He took a piece of paper where he had written down the spells to make sure he was saying them right. Fungifors. Alright, let's see. He took the pebble and with an 'n' movement from his wand, said "Fungifors" nothing and no wonder since he was planning to change its nature. Maybe if he thought of a mushroom and pictured the pebble turning into it, it would happen.

First step, the picture of a mushroom. A red one with a white stem, just the typical one. Good. Second step, imagining the pebble becoming a mushroom. That was hard, the pebble had to look distorted and from nowhere become a red mushroom. Now if he saw it from the scientific side it was kind of crazy to believe a pebble could turn into something else, but you know, this was magic. Literally. "Look at yourself" said to the pebble "Going to collaborate with me?" as if he was going to get an answer.

Hugo was ready, took his wand and did the 'n' shape movement "Fungifors!" again, nothing. Maybe he could try another spell.

Even if it was winter time and snow was on the ground Hady had ventured outside for some fresh air. No matter the weather normally one could find her outside enjoying her surroundings.

Letting her feet take the lead the snakette soon found herself near the lake which to her luck was quiet. No one seemed to be around probably do to the cold and snow. Big babies. It wasn't even all that could. Or at least she didn't think it was and her clothing probably showed that seeing as she was wearing a hoodie but no actual coat, at least she did have boots on her feet, gloves on her hands and one of those headbands that covered her ears.

Being indoors had caused an energy overload in the girl which probably could explain her current mood of bouncing about on her feet and twisting around side to side. It could be taken as maybe she was keeping warm or something of the sort but upon closer notice or listening she was humming a tune to herself which suggested maybe she was dancing or wanted to. One could only guess what she was doing just then.
