The Courtyard is a cloister on the base of the Hogwarts Castle. This cloister seems to be one of the older parts of the castle and the ceiling and walls are dilapidated. Serving as the last area before approaching Hogwart's entrance doors, it also leads to the Wooden Bridge.
In the centre of the courtyard is an antique fountain surrounded by statues of eagles. Perfect for relaxing and making wishes at. Beware, once you toss in a coin, you can never get it back as the water surface sinks deeper and deeper preventing your hand from ever reaching inside to retrieve it. A pear tree also grows in this courtyard, free of worms making it safe to snack from.
Did she not look relax? Well, how could she be relax? Ava really wanted to be succeed at performing this charm. This was her first charm lessons outside the class. If she could perform it successfully, she's gonna show it her smarty-pants brother that she could levitate thing with her wand by using levitating charm of course. You think that you're the only one who could practice the charm, Theodore? And she did it! Ava Salome Burton just successfully performed the levitating charm! Big thanks to Henric Nicolei who just taught her. See that, Teddy? She wished that her twin brother could see it. Well, maybe later once they met.
Oooops.... "Sorry, I'm just too excited. And by the way, your face is squish-able." Was that a word, squish-able? Hehehehe... The lioness didn't care because SHE JUST PERFORMED LEVITATING CHARM! "Thaaaaaaaaaaaaanks for teaching me. You're such a good senior." Wink wink. Maybe she should give him cookies or sweet treats in return. And back to their basketball business.
Ava listened to Henric explanation why he wouldn't want to levitate her. Blablablablablablablablaaaaa......... But in the end, he agreed to do that. Huh, such an indecisive person. Butbutbut.... LEVITATING HER! The firstie beamed excitedly. "Okay then, I am gonna be VERY STILL." She promised. Pinky promise, hehehe. "Okay, I'm ready when you are."
His face was meant to be adored and not squished by a first year!"Okay okay, you had enough squishing for one day, my cheeks need to breathe too, kid!" He pulled away and patted his face.Henric beamed when she praised him. Pfft..what was she saying now? It was all in a day's work.*cooly comb back hair* "Well...if you put it that way...*coughs* great job Ava, just make sure you use the spell wisely, don't go levitating living things yet...merlin save them...I mean..you still need more practice." He told her.
Henric sighed.Why did he get himself into this? Just whhyy....Shaking his head, he conjured up a rope from the tip of his wand and tied it around the basket. The rope would act as a hook around the gargoyle's head. "Okay, take this basket, you know what to do up there right...on a count of three, I will lift you up slowly and listen to whatever I ask you to do...ready?" Henric had only mastered this spell last summer because this charm would be tested in his O.W.Ls soon. He stood a little back from her and raised his wand."One...two...THREE! LOCOMOTOR Ava!" Please work...please work...
The Herbology professor. Okay. Noted. ANOTHER crazy professor.
Maggie nodded slowly. "Well, no one's on Bellaire's level for you, right?" Her lips curled into a smirk. He was going to regret having told her about that. Hehe. It was funny though. Very amusing.
Ah yes good. See, that's why they were best friends. She could count on him to not let her fall. Which apparently extended to the literal sense too. "I like over-dramatic." Was all Maggie said, however, giving him a grin. She definitely would have laughed at the guy. Maybe she could meet him. He might have more of those hilarious accessories.
A Fashion Police. Omg. That was brilliant. Maggie opened her eyes again but had turned her head to be looking at Dante instead of the THING. "Only if it comes with one of those police hats." She tapped the top of her head with an amused smirk. Mhm. She could totally see that.
Dante rolled his eyes. He knew he should not have told her about that. But the past was the past and nothing he could do about that. He knew she was going to bring that up at every opportunity now. Not that he blamed her. He knew it was going to happen the moment it left his mouth. "You are right. But we all have to move on eventually. Especially since she is not here anymore. It was a sad day when i did not see her at the Feast"
Now he was definitely being over-dramatic.
"Well then IF you ever need to be dramatic and fake faint and i will be behind you catching you"
Police hats. Well they would need a way of identifying themselves and that was a good idea as any. "I'm sure if you are part of it. You would force them to make the police hats are of the uniform"
And there was nothing wrong with that.

He watched and chuckled as the kitten seemed to enjoy being nuzzled (and almost smothered) like that, but it was purring and rubbing it's little kitten head on her cheek, which was a good sign. He needed to watch it though, or he was afraid he might not get his cat back at the end of this meeting. "Last time I named a pet, I went on an impulse and Beans was born...I should just let other people name my pets, they do a better job," he joked with a grin. Seriously. Baldwin and Josh? WAY better than BEANS.
Poor Beans. Sniff. RIP bud.
AWWWW SHE HAD A KITTY TOO! ANIMALS! YAYYY! "Aww, he sounds cute! How come I've never met him?" he asked. CALEB LOVED ANIMALS! Then again, he didn't go around broadcasting it around, but seriously. Even if she had a yak, HE WANTED TO MEET ALL THE PETS.
"True. I'm not complaining, of course. Still, did you just happen upon these? Or did you make them? Either way, I'm wondering if I need to worry about being poisoned," he teased her, nudging her slightly as he took a bite of another cookie. If he was going to be poisoned - either by her, her terrible cooking, or some random cookie poisoning maniac loose in the school, it was way too late. He was on cookie #3 here.

That was something to point it. "Secondly, we will just go slow and you will learn to stand on the board and I will push you." he told her coming up from behind her. He got off his board and waited for her to get onto it.
"Right?!" See someone was having the same thought as her. "The more they said no they more curious we become." Didn't the adults have the same experience when they're their age? Wait. Said WHAT?! One students GOT eaten?!

Her eyes were soon back on Dante, however, and she took a long moment to just smile at him. "You're seriously the best, you know." He just knew what she needed. Hopefully there would be some dramatic fainting soon. Now she really wanted to try it out.

"OUCH!" She groaned and touched her shoulder. Lucky that her head didn't hit the ground but it seemed like her left shoulder was injured.

Oh did she notice he was using men's skincare? Heheh.Grooming was a must thing to do every morning and before bedtime, it wouldn't do well to the ladies in this school if he had acnes all over his face. Okay, Henric was right. Levitating her was such a bad idea because now it ended up by her getting injured. "Oooooooouch...." That's was just the word that came out from her mouth now. Hospital wing??? NOOOOOOOO!!! Healer Murdoch wasn't too nice. She wanted her daddy to heal her because he's an excellent healer. But apparently he's not here and if she told him, her mother would know and she's gonna yell at her instead of getting healed. But did she have a choice? No. The brunette lioness just nodded at the Puff boy. Yes, she needed to see the healer. Ava tried to stand up while still nursing her shoulder. Why it had to be happened? And why she often get injured?

When he went around and he held out his hands for Candice to take, he waited a few seconds and then she grabbed on. He nodded and then began to pull her forward very slowly. He kept looking up for her reaction. "Look at you skateboarding now." he smirked. He was now going to try and turn her. He began walk back slowly and said, "Just tell me when you want me to let go.." That was an important concept right there. She was doing well and he didn't feel her shaking which was good.

Charms homework was... odd, like, he was quite good at the banishing charm already, so he didn't see much point in practicing it further. BUT... because there were points attached to the task, he could hardly say no. Had to keep his grades up and make home think he was doing just fine.
It was convenient that he didn't have to track anyone down to practice with him, having met Aldous when collecting a ball, the small Ravenclaw seemed a good kid. "What's your aim like?" he asked casually as they made their way out into the courtyard, nothing quite like a bit of fresh air to get things going, AND... he had potential targets too, y'know, in case simple throw/catch got boring. A bit of throw/catch/dodge would be jut as good if not better.

Aldous had a special love for any practical homework. And this one was included. His only concern was to find someone older to partner up with because asking one of his firstie friends was going to be a bit dull since they both were going to be practicing only one charm and have to manually throw it. It'd work but so dull. So when he met Zeke the only obstacle was removed and life was good again.
And whenever the Ravenclaw ended up with an older kid he seemed to have this desire to prove that it was NOT a mistake to partner up with him. So when he was asked, most likely as a way to start the conversation from the Gryffindor's side, Aldous immediately answered, "It's really good!" Yeah, he needed to calm down... and be completely honest. Zeke was gonna find out eventually. "But my throws aren't strong," He admitted glancing down at the ball in his hands, that they just collected. Honesty was key.
Did he still want to be his partner after he found out the truth? Did he open up TOO MUCH?
But hey, strong arms weren't needed, right? That was what the wand was for. Plus his task was to slow down the thrown ball. Yup, yup. All was good! He was FINE.
"I think here is good?" He said coming to a stop and offering the ball to the older kid. There was good amount of space and not too many people to injure hit with the ball. Or they could MOVE if he didn't like the place!
