Dribble dribble dribble....

Thanks to Dimitri, she could sneak her favorite basketball to her trunk without her mom knew. Because somehow her mother didn't allow her to bring that without any reasonable reason. Sigh, her mother sometimes loved to forbid her doing what she enjoy very much.

With the basket ball on her hand, Ava just sat at the courtyard while she dribbled the ball and spin it on her finger. Too bad that there's not basketball court in this place. So... what was she gonna do with the ball now?

Henric strolled down the hallway and into the courtyard. He saw Ava sitting alone with a basketball in hand."Hey Chelsea Mcbluepants, why the long face?" he asked,smiling down at her. They were going to have a one-on-one match right? This ought to be an exciting event! No time for moping. Besides, he had brought over things for them so they could play their planned match."Look what I've got,a wooden basket!" He showed her the basket, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Got this from the kitchens, the house-elves said I could have it and I made a huge hole in it.See!" Peeking through the basket, making a funny face while he at it."Now we just need to put it up somewhere...hmm..what do you think?"he asked her.

Still slightly spin the ball on her finger, she noticed that somebody was referring her as Chelsea McBluepants and that person couldn't be anyone but Henric the red devil's mania. "What?" The brunette lioness asked him back? And she did notice that the Puff guy was bringing something with him.

A used basket as their basketball hoops?

COOL!

"Wow, you do have a brilliant idea!" Ava beamed excitedly. Now they could play one-on-one basketball match since they already had the hoop. Buuuuuut.... "We still need to put it on to a high place. At least 10 feet tall." And she didn't see any tree or pole that could be the place for their 'hoop'.

Henric thought for a moment. He could use the incarcerous spell to tie the basket up around something but where....hmm. He walked around the courtyard in search for the perfect place. He noticed there were gargoyle statues along the perimeter of the courtyard."Hey Ava, how about we hang the basket around the head of that gargoyle statue up there." He pointed to that lone gargoyle beam structure against an old dilapidated brick wall.

"Do you know how to levitate objects up in the air yet?"he asked her, because y'know she was still in her first year. "I need two wands to make this work ...the plan is to lift the basket up and I will use the incarcerous spell to tie it up there...hopefully it works..if not, we need to get a tall ladder out from somewhere." Of course, he had no idea where to find a ladder.

Hanging the basket to the head of gargoyle's statue? Well, why not? It seemed high enough, but not that as high as the ordinary basketball hoops. Hmmm.... "Well, we can try." The brunette girl nodded.

And how to levitate the object? Ava shook her head. "I don't know. But perhaps you can teach me how to do that?" Pretty please? She was excited to learn some useful spells because... you know. And incarcerous spell? She'd never heard about that spell before. "What is the use of incarcerous spell?" Again, she asked. And hopefully Henric would teach her those spells. "Well, instead of using ladder, couldn't you levitate yourself or maybe... me?" Because she was light and she didn't know if there's a spell that could make someone's levitate.

Oh...this might be a problem. How were they going to hang the basket up onto that gargoyle then? Wait.. she wanted him to teach her? But he needed a feather in order to teach her, right? Well... that was how he learnt it during his first year. "Sure, I can...its pretty simple actually...you just swish and flick,"he explained as he showed her the wand movement."The incarcerous spell is uh...how do I explain this...well...it sort of shoots ropes and binds your target down...I've learnt to do this spell just last term during transfiguration class...but its quite an advance spell for you kid,you'll get there eventually." He remembered using this spell to hold the giant acromantula down before. Urgh...Henric didn't like to be reminded of the past events that happened here. Too vivid of a memory.

"What! I can't do that! I m-mean I c-can! But I need intense concentration for it! And its far too dangerous, Ava! W-hat if you fall and hit your head?" Yes, he was such a Hufflepuff for this but Henric had the right reasons too! He once been levitated unsuspectingly by none other than the Hufflepuff prefect himself and he knew first hand how insane that was!

Just swish and flick?

Taking her wand from her arm holster, the brunette girl then practiced the wand movement like Henric had said. Swish and flick... Swish and flick... Hold on... "What's the incantation? How could I do the spell if I only swish and flick my wand without the spell incantation?" She protested. And well.... it seemed like the incarcerous spell was too complicated for her. Never mind, but she WANTED to try the levitating charm! Come on, Henric! Tell her!

Oh nooooooooooo.... He refused to levitate her! Why???? Come on! "If you're really confident for that, I'm fine. Besides, I'm small, so isn't it easy to levitate me?" Ava offered the idea. Well, she's not afraid if she's being injured or something. It seemed like levitating her was the only way in order to make the basketball hoops. "If you need a ladder, where will you find it, dude? Hogwarts is too big to find a ladder, if this school really has one." See? She did make a point here.

Studying for NEWTs wasn't so bad when it was a nice, crisp, fall day. Plus he had Josh to keep him company. The gray kitten had really taken to traveling around in his bag, but he was getting big, and Caleb knew soon he wouldn't be able to fit in there. But by that point, it'd hopefully be cooler and he'd be inside, snuggled up with a cup of tea and his cat.

Did that mean he was becoming an adult? Because he was dreaming of cold weather, tea and his CAT? Oh Merlin. Sophie was right. He was becoming a crazy cat man...

Taking out his notes for today - it was Charms today - he started to skim them, taking out his wand and doing the wand movements as he read them over to refresh his memory. Josh sat nearby, obediently sitting at his side as he watched with interest as Caleb moved his wand around.

COOKIES. She had COOKIES. She had milk too, but she already drank it, which now posed a problem for the chocolate chip cookies in her hand. It was hard to eat so many cookies without milk to wash them down with. If ONLY she had someone to SHARE with...

Oh, look. It was Prefect Pretty-Boy. How convenient. Evie walked out and over to the Slytherin boy, cookies in hand. She had just opened her mouth to say hello to her friend when she spotted the little gray kitty sitting beside him. A little gasp escaped the girl's mouth and she quickly rushed to Caleb's side, set the cookies on his leg and picked up the little kitty and snuggled it to her chest.

"I didn't know you had a kittyyyyyy!" She exclaimed in an excited, squealy whisper, petting the kitty's head. Ooooh, it was so SOFT!

Caleb jumped just slightly as someone startled him, yelling about his kitty, but he relaxed and smiled when he saw it was just Evie. SHE seemed to be healing all right after all the...chaos last term. Unlike Lux. Poooooor Lux. Sad face.

He smiled and grabbed the cookies on his lap, taking one and popping it in his mouth whole. After all, he assumed they were for the taking since she put them on HIS lap and was too busy playing with Josh to say otherwise. "I just got him. His name is Josh," he told her with a grin. "Do you have a cat?" he asked, wondering how they had never had this conversation before. Caleb was ALL ABOUT those animals.

"And why do you have cookies?" he asked with a small chuckle. Normally people did not walk around with cookies - not that he was complaining.

Kaycee should be studying. But instead, she was outside enjoying the sun. She had her textbook tented over her face to block out the sun. To a passerby, it probably looked completely random. But she was completely comfortable.

Abby was making her way back into the castle after getting some fresh air she was meaning to study somewhere in the grounds but met some people and got distracted and she saw a gryffindor not much longer than her looked like she was enjoying the sun and said "Hey better make sure that you don't fall asleep or get too much sun" Abby was stating a true fact that too much sun could end up with a person in a bad way or something else

Kaycee ducked her head out of the book when she heard someone nearby. Was this girl talking to her? Yes. Yes, she was.

"I'm from Miami. I'm used to sun." she explained sitting up. "Plus falling asleep would be way more exciting than that." she said nodding to her book. What did she even grab? Was that a history textbook?

It didn't look familiar. Was that even her book?

Abby nodded to the gril and said "Well i suppose that is not too bad, I am Abby by the way" Abby held out her hand for the girl to shake best to introduce herself early

Kaycee returned the girl's handshake. "Kaycee Richards." she said introducing herself. "Gryffindor." She wasn't sure why that was so important to people in introductions, but she'd picked up the habit and now included it in hers.

"What brings you outside on this lovely day?"

Henric chuckled,"Patience you must have my young pahlawan." He loved using his Master Yoda quote from Star Wars during moments like this."The spell incantation is 'Wingardium Leviosa' but it takes a lot of practice,Ava...I couldn't get it right the first time I've tried it, you need to concentrate and pronounce it correctly too, try to point at that fallen leaf branch over there and follow exactly how I do it....Wingardium Leviosa!" He demonstrated by showing her the levitation spell effortlessly,of course, by lifting the small branch just a few inches off the ground."Don't lose sight of it and gently put the branch down like this..." He moved his wand downwards and let the branch settled in its original position."See...easy! Give it a go,"he grinned, encouraging her.

He didn't like this idea one bit."Its not how small or big you are, kid! Levitating a first year up high is completely mental! I could lose housepoints for this if a professor walks by and see me! A-And, how come you're not scared?" Oh yeah, she was a Gryffindor...and she was right too. Where could they find a big ladder around here? It would take them ages to find it.

Abby smiled at Kaycee and said "Planned to study outside Kaycee got to get prepared for my OWLs at the end of the year" Abby was stating the truth she did mean to study

Kaycee nodded. "That sounds like..." she paused. "...fun." She couldn't even say that with a straight face. How terrible was that?

She was not the studying type.

"At least getting fresh air is good." she said with a nod. "Isn't it a little too early in the year to start studying?" Just curious.

Abby thought and said "Yeah it is a bit early but i never know whether something i learned off the past few years will come up in my OWLs so i just want to be totally prepared" Abby was saying the truth but maybe her Ravenclaw side was showing a bit at the moment

This Fountain Adi liked! Could there be another set up around here? Hehe! He bounded towards the thing, pausing to take a look at the water. Yep, there were coins... coins EVERYWHERE in there. He wondered if anyone's wish had come through after they tossed a coin in. He had never done that because he wasn't sure he one hundred percent believed in it though right now he was actually thinking of throwing one in just to see how things would go after he made a wish.

But WHAT to wish for? He had everything he wanted right now and what he wanted in his future was something he would work on when the time came. Hmmm. Help, someone?

This Fountain Adi liked! Could there be another set up around here? Hehe! He bounded towards the thing, pausing to take a look at the water. Yep, there were coins... coins EVERYWHERE in there. He wondered if anyone's wish had come through after they tossed a coin in. He had never done that because he wasn't sure he one hundred percent believed in it though right now he was actually thinking of throwing one in just to see how things would go after he made a wish.

But WHAT to wish for? He had everything he wanted right now and what he wanted in his future was something he would work on when the time came. Hmmm. Help, someone?

Fresh air and sunshine is just what this girl needed! And what better place then to chill out and relax then outside in the Courtyard by the fountain.

Hady used to make wishes and toss a coin into the fountain when she was much smaller but she never gave it a try here. Why though she wasn't fully sure. Somewhere deep down there had to be something she wanted right? If one truly thought about everyone had at least one thing they'd want even if it wasn't at all practical. So as she grew closer this was what was flowing though her mind. What wish should she make because she knew she'd be making one. The perfect one.

Drawing closer to her destination she spotted a taller boy she knew right away even from behind. Adi! With a small grin she made her way up to his side and looked down into the water of the fountain. "A penny for your thoughts?" Hady glanced sideways at him with a playful laugh.

Kaycee laughed lightly. "Fair enough. Not my thing, but I acknowledge that other people study." Understanding, she was capable of it.

"Which ones are you planning on taking?"

Abby looked at Kaycee and said "Well i am planning on taking them all but i already know what i am going to do in the future but i need to do my OWLs no matter what" Abby knew that she was going to take up Qudditch professionally but she knew she needed OWLs anyway

Colt really wanted to get on his skateboard today. It was a perfect day and he didn't want to be cooped up inside. He got his skateboard out of his trunk and brought with him to the courtyard. He looked at the pathways and there wasn't anywhere to ride the skateboard. There was just mud and such. Not great conditions. He saw there wasn't a lot of students out. Sweet. He got onto his skateboard and began to do some tricks.

Man this was relaxing. He actually felt free and missed doing this at Durmstrang. He would never be able to do this Durmstrang with all the snow on the ground.
