If you know the password, or where the entrance is from the Secret Passage you can make your way through a portal in the stone wall of the dungeon and walk into the Slytherin common room:

The ceiling is low and the walls are made of stone, and even though they seem dank and cold, the room tends to stay at a very comfortable temperature. There are greenish lamps by black leather couches and chairs, with skulls all around. Scattered around the room are very comfy green bean bag chairs. Once you get in them you just might think you've been attacked by Devil's Snare as you find that the bean bags are almost impossible to get out of. With the common room being located under the lake, you can occasionally see mermaids, grindylows and the giant squid swim by when you look out the windows. A rug covers the floor in front of the fireplace that has a hunter green fire burning in it. The Slytherin emblem is everywhere, as house pride is one of Slytherin's strong qualities. It reminds students of what being a Slytherin means and allows them to share those feelings with others.

This is where Slytherin students are allowed to unwind, study and chat with one another. There is a room straight ahead that students may use as a quiet place to study and ask prefects and high scoring students questions. To the left, a corridor that leads to the Boys Dorms, and to the right a corridor that leads to the Girls Dorms. Beside each corridor is self inking quill and parchment with the words Attendo Thea Vipera on it. This is where you can leave a little information about yourself so your housemates can get to know you better.

On the side of the fireplace is a Notice Board for class and homework announcements, as well as general announcements. The Roster is also there for Students to make sure their name is listed and spelled correctly. Placed around the room there are four different Wizard Chess game boards. Find a partner and see who can keep their pieces from getting smashed by the opposing team.

A podium stands to the side with a copy of Hogwarts a History, which is where you will learn that even though the whole dungeon had once been flooded, nothing was waterlogged or permanently damaged.

The list seemed to be coming along nicely as far as this type of list goes. Or at least she assumed it to be. Not that she knew much of this sort of stuff. Not yet anyhow. Feeling Maggie's eyes on her Hady gave a small nod to confirm she was good with how it was going so far.

"Yeah, though I'd much more prefer closer to fourth year like ourselves however I don't mind fifth year either." Staying close to her own age was a good thing. Less trouble that way and if things worked out well enough they'd be together at Hogwarts longer which was always a nice thought. A sixth year though wasn't to bad IF she had a lot in common with the guy or there was just that instant connection some people have with one another sometimes.

So what now? How was this supposed to work? Hady shifted her hazel eyes towards her fellow fourth year snake in silent question. Maggie did know what to do right, that's why this was HER idea.

"Anything else?" She finally asked after a moment of saying nothing. What did one really put onto a list like this? Does activities and such matter or would that be worried about later on?

The nod was appreciated. Maggie was doing good.

Nodding along to Hady's words, Maggie put 'sixth year' in parentheses. "I think fifth years are perfect." At least that was her opinion. A one year age difference was ideal. Even though they graduated a year before them. However there was still loads of time until then. So yes, fifth years, Hady.

Now the list looked good now. Maggie was satisfied with it. "Not unless YOU want to add anything else." She shook her head and giggled lightly. "It's YOUR list, Hady." Silly of Hady to think that Maggie was the one in charge here. ~~She totally was.~~ Looking down at the list again she nodded again.

"Alright, now we just need to find him."

It was strange to be sitting there making a list with Maggie. Strange but not bad, somehow it seemed alright. Funny actually if she really thought about it. "Sounds good," She agreed with a firm nod of her head.

Hearing what Maggie commented to her that it was her list after all made her laugh. "True. Uh I don't think so. Not unless things I like doing count but I'm sure that could be figured out later."

Good. Maggie smiled.

Did things she liked doing count? "Maybe if it's something you want the boyfriend to enjoy doing." Yes. The boyfriend. Or well boy-something really. Whatever Hady was looking for. Maybe she wasn't looking for a boyfriend right away. But this list certainly looked like a 'boyfriend-list' to her.

"So does anyone come to mind?" Heh. They had time to find someone but maybe Hady had already met that person.

It looked good on parchment. It sounded fine when answering questions. When Maggie said the word out loud for the first time since they had started on this list Hady just looked at her. It sounded better when there wasn't a title to it. Like just a list of things she liked...it seemed strange to look for a guy based off of what she liked.

"I like a lot of things. If he doesn't like them to then that's alright." Doing things they both enjoyed together would be nice. Having to much in common though would make things boring. Hady took to mindlessly sliding the locket pendant back and forth across the chain around her neck. "If he likes music that would help." Listening to it, singing, dancing, playing an instrument she didn't really care.

"Uh..." Hady shrugged. She'd met a lot of guys here and at home nearly all her friends were guys. "Not really."

Well that made sense. He didn't have to like EVERYTHING that Hady did. But some similar interests were probably a good idea. So when the other girl suggested music, Maggie added it to the list too. "I'm sure that won't be too hard to find." Someone who was into music, that is. Almost everyone was, right? At least into some aspect of it.

So there was no one coming to mind right away. Which was fine.

Maggie looked down at the list for a moment, then pulled out her wand and duplicated it. She handed the original to Hady with a small grin. "Well then. At least now we know what we're looking for." Hopefully they would find someone suitable soon then. This was exciting!

Most everyone enjoyed music. So here vague answer of 'liking music' probably wasn't too much help. Who could blame her though? It wasn't like she would say she wanted a guy that could play the guitar or drums, could dance well and liked to do so. No she wouldn't be that specific, plus it didn't matter.

"So am I." There were a lot of things they could get have in common.

Maybe one or two dark haired and dark eyed boys came to mind but Hady wasn't saying so. She had time. There was no rush in this. When the parchment was offered to her she accepted it scanning over the list. Seemed good to her.

Just one thing. Did Maggie just say 'we'? "We?," the snakette questioned tilting her head at the other girl. Maggie was going to help with this?

Maggie folded her copy until it was small enough to fit up the sleeve of her sweater. And that's where she put it for now too. She was going to write it into her journal later anyway. Put it with the other lists that were already in there. Maybe she should get a separate notebook for the lists. Hmm.

Yes, we.

Grinning at Hady, Maggie nodded. "Of course! I'll help you." And no, the other girl had no say in the matter. Like, who WOULDNT want Maggie's help in this right? Exactly.

Hady basically did the same with her own list but first she scanned over the things there. Should she add a few more things to it? Like the small things she enjoyed or didn't that really matter? In the end she choose to leave it for now and tucked the folded list into her pocket.

Maggie was going to help her with this. Well alright then! Hady wasn't sure just how much she trusted anyone (not just Maggie) with helping her find someone whom she may connect with but she didn't mind the offer really. At least they had ideas on what she wanted. "Alright then." The Slytherin smirked back at Maggie. It would be fine...Maggie's tastes in guys were probably a 'bit' like her own. Maybe.

Awesome. New project for Maggie. Finding boys (or A boy) for Hady. It was exciting!! And her face probably suggested as much. Yay. She grinned at the other girl, putting the pen she'd borrowed on a nearby table.

Cool. Cool cool cool.

Running a hand through her hair, Maggie's grin turned into a smile. "We should probably head to bed." Mhm. Or at least to their dorm. This whole evening had tired her out. It had been....quite eventful. Not necessarily in a good way. Apart from her conversation with Hady just now. That had been nice.

"Thank you, by the way." She said softly, quickly leaning over to give Hady a hug. Like. Seriously. Thank you, Hady.

The grin Maggie was currently wearing upon her face almost made Hady want to laugh. Never before had she seen or met someone so excited over making a list. Well not just a 'list' but still it was funny and Hady grinned right back.

"Yeah, probably," she agreed with a small nod. Not that she was tired or anything anymore but they had lessons and all that. Being rested would be a good thing.

Only before even being able to move Hagan from her lap or get up she was being hugged. And not JUST hugged but THANKED! as well. Now this was unexpected and for a second she wasn't sure what to do. Being herself though she leaned over her cat which wouldn't move still by the way and hugged the other girl back. "No problem. It's what we do." No thanks needed Maggie. Girls, friends, dorm mates, Slytherins they all stuck together. When one of them needed something another was there to help.

It was in that brief moment between the hug and the 'thanks' that Hady decided she liked Maggie. And well if Maggie and Zeke did happen to like one another it was fine by her.

'It's what we do.'

That was a weird reply. Maggie considered it while she pulled back, giving Hady a curious look. It's what who did? Also why? What? She felt like she should just KNOW what Hady was talking about, however, so she didn't question it. At least not out loud. In her head she definitely was.

Eventually she got off the couch, then held up a curl of her hair again. They were almost dry. She sniffed it for a moment, trying to determine if it was still smelling gross. Hady had said no but still, Maggie wasn't entirely sure. Either way though, she probably shouldn't wash it AGAIN tonight. Maybe tomorrow.

Sending Hady another quick smile, Maggie took a few steps towards their dorm. Hady's cat still looked MIGHTY comfortable on the other girl's lap so she wasn't sure if she was coming along right away. "See you in a few then." Considering Maggie wasn't already asleep by the time Hady went to bed of course.

The curious look from her fellow house mate. "I meant friends Maggie, nothing evil or sinister," She laughed. Relax there Maggie nothing bad about being friends.

Remaining where she as for a few moments longer she continued to pet Hagan. He wasn't moving so the only choice left was to disturb him. "Yeah, I'll be up in a minute." Hady nodded towards Hagan and with and bit of shuffling about was able to get to her feet while lifting Hagan in her arms.

Slowly she trudged after the other girl up to their dorm. Sleep did sound good right now.
