Come send a note or letter using your own owl or any of the school owls. Owls line the walls in nooks and on branches. Pellets, old animal skeletons, and belladonna berries are on the floor.
There are a few pieces of parchment, a ragged quill, and a dried-up bottle of ink on an old wooden desk in the corner should you need to add a postscript to your letter.

"What happened?" Oliver's eyes widened when the girl mentioned the danger, and possibility of being killed. What could possibly have happened to a student that she almost died in Hogwarts? He didn't mind a little danger, it would make school much more exciting that was for sure, but he didn't want to die. He didn't want anyone else to die either, especially Ellery.
But now they were talking about him. Well, technically about Colin. "Our dads thought it would be better for him to be homeschooled. Hogwarts would be...too much. Overwhelming. A sensory overload." Nod. Nod. He missed his brother a whole lot and wished he was at Hogwarts with them, but he was also glad he wasn't. Because as long as Colin was wherever he would be the most comfortable, Olly would be happy.

More nodding from Olly as they talked about Colin. "Yeah, lots of people. Lots of noise. He wouldn't like it very much." Which was too bad, because Hogwarts was great. He hoped that the homeschooling was just as awesome for Colin as Hogwarts was for Oliver. "Do you have any siblings?"

More nodding from Olly on the subject of his brother. He could never really know what it was like inside someone else's head, not even his own siblings. All he knew was from being around Colin. And even just that was enough for him to see how bad things could be sometimes. But he always did what he could to make it easier on Colin.
"I couldn't imagine that," Oliver commented. His siblings were his best friends. He could not imagine life without them.
"Look, it's my owl!" The girl probably didn't really care which owl belonged to him, but as soon as he saw him Oliver got excited and couldn't help but point. The owl immediately flew toward him, and Oliver was able to attach the letter. "This is for Colin," he told the bird. It nipped his finger affectionately before flying off.

Hady couldn't imagine what it was like for the boys brother. She knew it must not be easy for the young boy though. At least he had his family to help him through his troubles and wasn't alone so that was a good thing. "Neither can I but at least he has you to help him when you can." She offered the younger boy a light smile.

She shrugged her shoulders laughing quietly. So far she'd been trouble free or well trouble she had gotten herself into anyhow.

Oliver just smiled as she talked about her family. It was nice that she wrote them often, and he assumed that meant they wrote to her as well. And if she didn't have any siblings, at least she had some cousins. He didn't have those.
"How did you choose his name?" Hagan. His name was Hagan. Oliver had never heard that name before, not for a person and not for a cat. Not for anything. He wondered if there was a particular reason she'd chosen that name, or if she'd just liked the sound of that. Wait. Wait. Wait.
"You have a SNAKE?"
A tiny smile played on her lips as she spoke of her family namely her father. If one thing was clear it was that she cherished her loved ones and those close to her.
"My cats?" She asked tilting her head. "Well it's actually sorta silly but when I had bought him I was saying names out loud to him. Hagan was the only name him meowed for." Hady laughed quietly brushing some hair off her face. So technically speaking he had picked his own name.
"Uh, yeah?" She blinked at him trying to figure out if this as a good thing or bad in the smalleg boys tone of voice.

Was this something people did? Was this normal? Kyroh seemed to think it was anyway. She stared at him a sort of bemused look on her face. "I'm sure they don't." She'd never seen Kyroh without a shirt but she assumed he wasn't, like, unpleasant to look at.
Wait...Maggie blushed slightly at that thought.
"I guess I'll just have to move into the Ravenclaw common room then." She joked with a grin.

The cat chooses the name. It was like with wands, that was cool. Her cat had basically picked out his own name. But what if it had just been a coincidence? He would have meowed at that time no matter what name she had said? Whatever, it was still a cool coincidence that led to a cool story. What if humans did that? Chose their own name? Yes she knew very well just how odd her story had sounded but it was the truth. Hagan had meowed at the name. So it was the name she went with for him. Nothing wrong with that.
"Why not, does she not like snakes?" A lot of people didn't like them. Hady didn't really understand why for she found them to be very enjoyable. "Maybe if you talked it over with them and explained why you want one they'll consider it. Plus it would be kept in a tank, not roaming about the house." Her mum didn't like Aime either but it was her father that had gotten the snake for her.
"A few years before. I was about eight or nine when I got him." Her love of snakes was always there even before coming to Hogwarts.

Kyroh tilted his head slightly. Uh....Maggie....were you new here? "A warming spell, I guess." He laughed and held his arm out for her to touch. Look! See how warm he was now! Maggie reached out to touch his arm. Wooooow. That was pretty cool. How had no one taught her that yet?? "Well, I wasn't around for your first year." She replied, a little defiantly. Like, she was a year younger than him. When he'd learned that she'd probably still been blissfully unaware that the Wizarding World even EXISTED.
Oooookay. That smirk made her narrow her eyes a little suspiciously. "Initiation?"Was this a fraternity?

Zander leaned against the wall, thinking long and hard about how he was going to end the letter to his brothers. Merlin, this was a lot harder than he thought. Normally the Gryffindor was too stubborn to ask for their help, but he knew that this time he needed it. And this wasn't something he could just put off to the side. So unfortunately for one Zander Adair it meant sucking up his pride and asking them for help.
And so help him Merlin.
Finally deciding on the last line, the Gryffindor added a post script to the bottom of the letter.
Ps. I've never asked you for anything in my life and all you've ever done is be horrible to me. This is the least you could do for your BROTHER.
There. It was done. And with that he cast a quick duplication spell so that he had TWO letters, before rolling them up and picking out two healthy looking owls to send them off with. "Don't leave until they give you something to bring back for me, you two got that?" he addressed the two of them, knowing quite well that the owls probably understood zero english.
But this was important. "Now hurry! We haven't got too much time for this."
And with that, Zander Adair made his way out of the owlery and back to his dorm. Hopefully they'd be willing to help. If not his entire plan would fall to pieces.
