| | Professor Myers' Garden Image by: Pixie Outside of the Greenhouses, near the back, there is a little space that Professor Meyers has claimed as his garden. There are various plants here, including all sorts of flowers, shrubs, bushes, and of course, plush, green grass. It's the perfect place on a sunny afternoon when there's a gentle breeze passing through, ruffling through the plants with its soft touch. The smell of fresh flowers wafts through the air. Professor Meyers cares for all of these plants and flowers himself. It is his passion.
Do not pick the flowers without his permission. He doesn't mind spreading the love, but there is a proper way to pick and cut flowers. Anyone is allowed to relax here, eat here, do homework. Professor Meyers encourages his students to be one with nature, and this is the perfect way to do so.
Need somewhere quiet and peaceful to relax? Here is the spot. Sometimes Professor Meyers will even softly play his banjo out here to give these plants some music, too. |

| Herbology Homework #1 Extra Credit Pooh Bear | Fabio | Sith Lord | Fab & Chic After she finished with her Herbology homework, Candice made her way toward the Professor Myers' Garden. As soon as she arrived, she spotted the said bin where she need to deposit her every-day wastes. Its not everyday she carried a bag full of wastes. But these things were to help Professor Myers making another compost so no complain here.
She opened her bad and took out the paper bag where she put her every-day wastes. She has a few tea bags, apple cores, dried flowers, corn cobs and the paper bag she used to put the wastes. She dumped her every-day wastes into the bin. There. All done. You welcome, Professor.

| Herbology Homework - Extra Credit YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers After deciphering her compost at the greenhouses, Tia headed over to the professor's garden where she had collected various items over the course of the last week to dump there. This was actually kind of fun, recycling her used parchment, saving her food scraps, even a broken quill. If she'd really thought about it, she probably should have been unloading her backpack more frequently rather than saving up for a week, cause her bag was starting to get pretty heavy.
Setting it down at her feet, the sixth year starting unloading the recyclables into the bin: used parchments, chicken bones, apple cores, tea bags, the broken quill, even a raggedy t-shirt that she'd been dying to get rid of from her trunk.
Once everything was unloaded, Tia zipped her backpack back up and made her way back up to the castle. You're welcome, Professor.

| Hw #1-ec ❄Suaviter in modo, fortiter in re❄| ⚕=equivalent exchange=⚕ | pinned ya! Prior to attending Hogwarts, Owen didn't know that gathering every day wastes was effective in creating awesome composts but now that he knew then he was very much willing to lend a hand.
This is exactly why he was carrying a tin towards Professor Myers garden and when he arrived carefully dumped the contents of his container on the provided bin. He was able to gather some fruit peels, fish food (that Sushi apparently didn't like), a old and worn edition of the Daily Prophet (that Henry's kneazle made a scratching shrine), some peanut hulls, and hair. Hehe. What? Hair fall was normal.
With that, Owen hummed his way back to the castle.

| Herbology extra credit Made of Awesome | Ern-la the Best-wa | TZ's Apogee Carrying trash around with a person was sort of gross, even though Dot had it all neatly tied up in a lined bag. She kept imagining that people could smell stale fish and slippery rotten fruit pits on her, even though everyone... most everyone... was carrying around food waste. She wasn't the only one who was relieved to be getting ride of it, was she?
The compost pile itself, though... Merlin. It was a trash pile. She was going to voluntarily put herself within trip-and-fall distance of a pile of rotten food garbage. Why did she CARE so much about doing well in this dumb class?
From inside her bag, Dot removed the wilted lettuce and peach pits, the seaweed left over from sushi, the shredded paper napkins, and the tidy pile of dried tea grounds. It took a lot of effort, but she carefully circled the heap, spreading her wet and dry layers evenly over top of everything. A bit of nitrogen help here, a bit of carbon there, and all of it spread out through the pile.
She was gonna go take a bath now, though.

| Herbology EC #1 curly haired prefect - "sometimes I get angry!" - 30/90 - *chicken emoji* - probably @ Disney - I speak dog So apparently, you could make compost out of like...anything. Which was weird to Caleb to think that his old pants could be used to help plants grow. And Myers just wanted all this junk? Fine by him. TAKE IT ALL, PROFESSOR! PLEASE!
Taking his tin that he had been using to gather his items, he dumped them in the basket in front of his office that he had set up to collect these items. The things that Caleb had gathered included a bunch of parchments that he had crumbled up while studying for his NEWTs, some of his hair from his last haircut (hey, if he wanted his hair, why not add it in? One less thing he had to try and gather...) as well as a few apple cores, pieces of tomato that he had used to make a salad that he wasn't going to use anymore, and finally, some earl grey tea leaves. He'd saved the other ones for his actual homework.
It was quite an eclectic mix, but it would do. Making sure the items were all accounted for, he stood up, brushed himself off and headed out.

| Herbology Homework #1: EC Zombie Apocalypse Team Leader ★ ★ in a crown of pepperoni and artisan cheese Hahaha!
To be honest, Reagan had almost completely forgotten about the Extra Credit bit of the Herbology assignment. She'd been so caught up in preserving bits here and there to contribute that actually carrying them down to Professor Myer's garden had slipped away.
She was a very silly Reagan, indeed.
Very last minute, the older Ravenclaw carefully set the container of things down in her bag before setting off to put them where they belonged. The bits she'd collected weren't too exciting, of course. Some seaweed that had gone bad from one of her foraging treks, flowers that she'd meant to press but had wilted from neglect (there was a lot of homework and studying to do, okay?!), as well as fruit rinds and peelings. And, lastly, a collection of Aparecium articles. Mhm, Reagan was secretly SUCH a fan...SHH, but they were old and it simply made no sense to hold onto them any longer. Of course, usually, Reagan would've found uses for each of these things, but it served a greater purpose with her homework. So, it all worked out in the end!
Adding everything carefully into the Professor's compost bin, Rea made sure to spread them all out evenly; pushing each item down into the abyss of the bin before taking a step back, also dropping the paper container in. Easy clean up, you see?
She'd thought to bring the Professor some vegan treats, as well...and left the garden with the hopes of delivering the goodies.

| Herbology Homework 1 - Extra Credit be curious, not judgmental The best part about the extra credit they could earn was that Sophie Brown loved to eat. Pretty much the only time she wasn't eating was when she was in classes and the library and doing stuff where she needed both hands and couldn't be sneaking nibbles of food. So, naturally, Soph had collected quite the array of food to add to Myers' collection in addition to various other findings she'd just collected on her way down to the garden. Things that Myers could've definitely just collected himself, but she was trying to be helpful, all right?
Carrying her tin over to the recycle bin, Soph removed the lid and set it aside as she considered each item she was going to put in. The tin was stuffed to the brim so much that items were threatening to fall out, so the Ravenclaw plucked off the banana peel on top from breakfast, deposited it into the recycle bin, then transferred over the egg shells she'd used when she'd made a surprise breakfast delivered right to Zander's common room into the recycle bin as well.
Next went the little stems of some grapes and cherries she'd eaten, followed by the grass she'd collected along the way, two apple cores, leftover potato peels and a corn cob from the last night's dinner, and a few dried up, dead flower petals from a bouquet that Zander had given her a couple weeks ago.
Sorry, Zander. They had to go.
Dumping out the remainder of the contents of her tin into the recycle bin all at once - the only other things that trickled out were an orange peel and a few stray apple seeds - Soph replaced the lid on the tin, gave a nod of approval for her good deed of the day, then headed on out.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Norah Kittredge Seventh Year | Herbology HW 1 Extra credit Lil' gooz | Sarangel | Junior Dweeb Luckily for Professor Myers, Norah didn't shy away from food. Ever. Well, unless it involved broccoli but that was an especially horrid case.
She held a bag of all sorts of waste stuff she'd saved from her past few meals and hurried over to the bin to dump it all in. She'd already made sure she had all good stuff, 'cause she knew if she got here and dawdles she'd waste the entire day hanging around the garden because it was AWESOME. So in went orange peels, two watermelon rinds, a wilty piece of spinach, an old piece of parchment from a bazillion years ago that she found at the bottom of her bag, and a banana peel that hadn't even gone brown yet. Oh yeah!
