The obstacle course was an amazing place, so when he got Hady's message to meet her there, he didn't waste any time. He would have been early too, had he not gotten distracted along the way. Whoops.

Thankfully for him, he wasn't late - that was one of the advantages of trying to be early. Hands in pockets, Zeke casually made his entrance, immediately spotting his friend to the side. It was hard to miss green streaks.

It was easy to see that whatever Hady had planned, fun was definitely a factor. The obstacle course might play a significant part in that, but there was no denying the impact a hyper Hady could have. Clearing his throat as he slid into position beside her, leaning against the wall at the hip, he beamed.

"Do I want to know what you had for breakfast?" He asked, his amusement showing.

Sugar was a legitimate breakfast, it was full of energy, and so he had it by the spoonfuls for breakfast everyday, though he preferred it in the form of a nice apple pie, tea cake or a chocolatey variant. He couldn't judge.

But at her admission that coffee was involved, he had to shake his head. He could understand the perils of coffee, which reminded him of home. "Oh good, cause that's so much better for you," he mused lightly, his grin widened at the mention of chocolate though, THAT, he approved of. Her offer wasn't necessary, but it was appreciated. "I'm cool, thanks," he declined. Perhaps after they were done with the course? A little post-exercise pick-me-up.

As for where to start? Zeke looked away from Hady to assess their options. In the end, he wasn't all too phased, this had been her idea anyway. "Wherever you like, you're choice." He was just along for the ride.

Coffee was still coffee to him, even if it was only coffee flavoured, so her justification didn't change his view on that matter. Rolling his eyes, he nudged her with his elbow lightly, "Dress it up however you want, sweetheart," he teased. Coffee, sugar, it was all the same, though generally anything with 'coffee' in the description resulted in longer lasting bursts of energy. Not a bad thing, unless one was contained in a small space or an awkward social situation - of which this was neither.

"Well we better get going then," he noted with a serious expression... wouldn't want the Slytherin exploding now. Pushing himself off of the wall, Zeke was ready to get started, to dive into whatever challenge she wanted to start with, but the look on her face made him pause. Did he say something wrong? ... No... No.

In the end her assessment was the beginning, which was fine with him. "I'm great with bars and stuff," he advised, possibly bragging just a little bit. He'd worked on a few obstacle courses already, so he was no stranger to lifting his own weight, and though he'd fallen flat on his face more times than he'd have cared to admit, he liked to think he was beyond that now. "Let's do it then." Ladies first.

She would, of course she would, this came as no surprise to Zeke. At that, and being called 'Lion' he just shrugged. It was what it was, and would be ... what it would be. It was of little consequence to him anyway.

Falling in step with Hady very quickly, Zeke followed her to their obstacle, the bars, catching her sideways glance. He shrugged again, "Maybe just a little?" he replied casually. He wouldn't deny it. Pausing beside her, Zeke looked up at the same time. The first bar was at a good height, easy enough to jump up and grab a hold of, and so he did. Hands out of his pocket, he took position in a crouch and swiftly propelled himself high enough to grip the bar in the palm of his hands. He hung there a moment, swinging too and fro a little.

The easy way or the fun way?

At that, Zeke dropped back down beside her, shaking his head.

"So you're saying I'm not the fun way?" Thanks, THANKS HADY! "... you shouldn't be rude, it might bet you in trouble," and without warning he bent slow to grab her around the legs, lifting her high enough that she might reach the bars... if she didn't fall over his back instead. He wasn't really paying attention to technique, just making her pay for her backhanded comment.

Nice? So she was impressed, right? Zeke smirked, quite chuffed with himself.

Of course he didn't bother giving Hady the opportunity to explain herself, he was just playing around anyway... she knew that, right? So with her secure in his arms, he waited for her to get a hold of the bar, content that she had it when he felt her let go of his shoulder.

Grinning, he stepped away, watching as she manoeuvred her legs up and over the bars until she was hanging upside down. "Smooth." Very impressive, Hady.

But then she went on some kind of explanation of the meaning of her words which he was quick to dismiss with a wave. "I know that," he was quick to respond, hoisting himself up again. He hung there, limply for a short moment before swinging and gaining enough momentum that he gained height enough to along himself to hold himself up above the bar. His arms were burning, but he was learning to appreciate the pain.

"So... what made you decide you wanted to do this today?" he asked casually, though there was a little strain in his voice as he adjusted his grip on the bar.
