The Muggle Studies classroom is clean and inviting, sunlight streaming through the windows and casting a warm glow over the entire space. Perhaps this is why Professor Moxley seems to be in such a great mood. The brunette is perched on the corner of her desk at the front of the room, her outfit indicative of today's topic for discussion and her happy face sticker placed on her shirt, showcasing her current mood. Hopefully you're familiar with the new classroom rules because the Moxinator fully expects you to rock a mood sticker soon, as well.
The room is organized a bit differently this time around, the tables creating a big U shape, with Moxley's desk acting like a crown at the top. Once you've greeted the professor, why not sit down and relax a bit? You'll need your energy for today's lesson! That's a promise.

His pen was busy scribbling notes as he listened, making sure to at least copy down what Professor Moxley was adding to what was written up on the board. Occasionally he might add other random elements.
And now they were breaking off into pairs, the Gryffindor glancing at his best friend beside him. "Dragon chooses Hippogriff..." he mused as he got up to his feet, picking the slightly older boy. Surely Adi wouldn't mind being paired off with him, especially in this little adventure into the game and whatever the woman had planned to make it interesting for the class. They had had their fair share of fun moments together in this class.
Now they just had to pick shirts.
Notes, notes, notes!
Adi furiously scribbles them down, his left hand flying across his book. So many things to remember about this game! Gosh! It seemed far more complicated than his precious cricket (in actuality, it's not). He had played this game before at one of his Muggle friend's birthday party which had been held at a Bowling Alley so at least he had some experience.
RIGHT!
Notes were done and now he needed to find a partner. Nope, a partner found him. Wheeee! It was the guy bestie. "Hippogriff thinks the Dragon could not have found a better partner.'' Adi gave Benny a grin. "Let's get those matching shirts.'' Already he was leading the way to the box. "Which colour?'' The other guy could have the chance at picking that. Yep.
Y'know, Zander wasn't even taking notes anymore. He was just actively listening as Moxley described the sport, making sure to nod at appropriate times when she made eye contact, for encouragement and stuff... Y'know? If Zander was a Professor, he'd totally appreciate that. But anyways, once Moxley finished up, the Gryffindor looked straight over to Head Girl Sophie Brown, who he just so happened to be sitting by. Hi Sophie. Hi.
She was taking notes. And lots of them. Wow. Wasn't she great? She was really great. And he was just sat there smiling all goofy at her while she hurriedly jotted everything down. Hopefully she knew that Zander had been bowling before, 'cause he'd definitely be willing to help her get all that stuff down later if she wanted. But he liked watching her take notes. She did it with such enthusiasm and concentration, things he had trouble doing properly. "That even a question?" he nudged her back before getting out of his chair.
"Maybe if you want we can actually go bowling one day?" He knew a place. Not too far from where he lived, actually. But anyways, they had some instructions to follow. Ahem. Uh. Shirts. They were kind of horrid looking to be honest, but Zander was never all that fashion savy to begin with so... Yeaaaaaaaah. They looked fine. But what color? "You wanna do blue for Ravenclaw?" He sort of owed her one after the whole Astronomy thing. Or maybe owed her five million. Ahem.
Sophie knew better than to assume that all Muggleborn children had been bowling before, so she was actually a little bit nervous about whatever their forthcoming task was. But with the way Zander suggested that they go bowling together some day - PROPER bowling, probably, not the shrunken head bowling she and Tobes had done - Sophie figured maybe he HAD been before, and she smiled.
"We should do that over the winter holiday." Because they were undoubtedly going to be spending some time together then, so why not make an event out of it?
Blue for Ravenclaw? Sophie's grin widened and she nudged him again in good humor. "S'funny, 'cause I was thinkin' we should be red for Gryffindor. Y'know how girls wear their guy's jersey for sports 'n stuff? That's what it'd be like," she explained, stealing a quick glance around at everyone around them. Purple had been grabbed, and two shades of BLUE had been grabbed. So. "There's already some blues out there, so our decision is made for us." Without waiting for his permission, Sophie dug out two red bowling shirts for them and playfully tossed one at his head before tugging hers on.
"Red looks good on me anyway." Probably untrue, but she was trying to reassure him that red was an okay way to go, all right?

Zander grinned widely as Sophie agreed. He still got nervous every time he asked her to do something... Strange, but he couldn't help it. One of these days she was going to get tired of him. He was sure of it. "It's a date!!" And now how was he supposed to focus on class when he was thinking about a bowling date with Sophie Brown? Man.
Her reasoning for going red was amusing, but he smiled and nodded his head to indicate he was all for it. Though he still thought he owed her one for Astronomy... Especially because she hadn't really gotten him back yet and he knew it was coming. Sigh. Thought maybe he could get out of it by wearing a blue shirt for a class period. But nothing can ever just be that easy. Sigh. "Sounds good to me," he caught the shirt she threw over and pulled his hands through the sleeves.
And for the record, every color looks good on Sophie Brown.

Professor Moxley's activities were always exciting, it was a rule. Norah set her quill down on top of her page of notes. Alrighty. PARTNER TIME.
She'd taken so long trying to write all the details down that it seemed as if the whole entire class was already crowded around the front of the room. Speed walking forwards just to make sure there was a purple shirt left for her, she scanned the clusters of students in search of a partner. She saw Brooklyn standing out of the corner of her eye and changed direction to walk at her instead. She wasn't talking to anybody so she could probably be Norah's partner, right? Riiiiiight? With a big smile, she came to halt in front of the Slytherin. "I can be your partner, if you want." Please say yes please please please please, the purple shirts would be gone before they knew it.
People were finding partners right and left, yet Brooklyn wasn’t getting discouraged. She would have actually had to care about it to get discouraged, actually tried. Instead, she just had continued to stand there, probably putting off a sense that she didn’t particularly want a partner. It wouldn’t have been wrong, not really, but she was still more on the side of hoping she got someone tolerable. There were still at least a few people who hadn’t found partners yet who qualified. She just had to believe they’d feel like approaching her. Before someone else claimed them.
Although she honestly hadn’t expected the person who had suddenly stopped in front of her. No, intentionally walked toward her. She remembered her, though, from the Potions lesson first year that had also started her dislike of Adi. Norah. Except, she hadn’t had the shiny prefect badge back then, which was the first thing that got eyed. Before she looked at the big grin on the Hufflepuff’s face. That seemed to be a Hufflepuff thing, definitely. It was kind of annoying, but then she had nothing against the girl in front of her. That hadn’t been her fault. “Okay,” she said finally, wondering what color shirts they would end up with.

Partners, bowling shirts, and a bowling related activity? With each lesson component that was mentioned, Daxton felt less and less enthusiastic, and he had hardly been pumped and ready to go from the start. He stayed put in his seat, not bothering to find a partner, and watching everyone else with no small amount of uncertainty etched on his features.
Could he just... go? Daxton looked back at the door and considered his options. He could just slip out now, while everyone else was busy. At the Ravenclaw party, actually asking had caused all sorts of hassle, and that was what made up his mind. Before it could get too loud - and the volume was starting to creep up - Daxton slipped out of his seat and headed silently for the door.

Standing up from his desk when instructed to find a partner, Milo groaned a bit. David and some of the other Ravenclaw first years were already partnering up. He might get have to work with someone he didn't know. He didn't usually do well with people he didn't know. His mom had told him he needed to try more when he was at school though.
"Does anyone need a partner still?" Milo asked no one in particular, a hand raised awkwardly.
So, Yoongi had been bowling before. For one of his birthday parties when he had been younger but he had never done Shrunken Head Bowling. It was kind of disgusting , rolling heads over the ground. Magical people were weird. But anyways, the Gryffindor listened to the instructions the Professor gave out and then looked around for someone to partner up with. Too bad that the people he kind of knew were already partnering up with each other. Siiiigh.
He spotted a first year Ravenclaw looking around, probably for a partner. Yoongi moved away from his place and walked towards the kid. "Hey, i still need one, wanna partner up with me?" he asked.
......And was that another first year Ravenclaw trying to sneak away? lol good luck.
If only he could have his muggle phone out right now and snap a picture of the board. He didn't feel like writing all that in his notes. What for when he knew practically everything he needed to know about bowling.
They had to choose partners now? Brilliant! Henric reached out and put an arm around his bestfriend's shoulders,"Got one right here!" No doubt about it since they were seated practically right next to each other.
"llia, if you'll be my bowling partner...you can choose whatever colour shirt you like from the box."Henric offered, smiling broadly at her. Come on...you know you want to...meheheh.
Ilia looked over the tall board of bowl-ing terms and jotted them down swiftly for later reference. She still wanted to know where the bowl part of bowl-ing came in.....probably something to ask Henric so that she didn't look as incredibly dumb in front of the professor. Partners? They were playing this bowl-ing 'game' !?
A look of uncertainty and concern flashed to her face, but as quickly as she was turning to look to Henric for help, his arm wrapped around her shoulders. Instant relief, that was currently what he was. Maybe she would survive this class without complete shame after all.....though she did have a very slight blush at his announcement of their partnership.
If she would be his bowling partner? Feeling rhetoric was he? As if she was going to turn down her best friend's help when this was probably his best class and her worse..........."Okay." She smiled at him with a mixture of relief and affection as she reached up to give his hand a squeeze.
Sorting through the shirts, she found a pair of black and white ones that didn't look tooo awful. She was fairly certain that when she found one to fit Henric, the shirt to match it would look huge on her. Oh well, there were worse things. Laying the chosen monochromatic tops upon her arm, she walked back over to Henric. "How is this color?"

They're gonna play bowling? EEEEP!!! THIS WAS GONNA BE FUN!! Ava had ever tried the muggle bowling a few times and so far she enjoyed it even she hadn't managed make any strike. But first, they needed a partner. Looking around, everybody had gotten their partner but then... She noticed the fellow Gryffindor who just sat beside her.
CANDICE!
Holy Merlin, why she didn't think to pick her as the partner? She was such a cool girl and they once spent time together playing the hockey table at Diagon Alley. They're gonna be a great partner. "How about if we partner up, Candice?" She asked.

Yeah, yeah, Benny got the cheeky meaning of the comment and forced himself to not roll his eyes at his friend. The jury was still out, Mister. Saying nothing aloud, the Gryffindor simply nodded at the need to retrieve shirts for them both, following Adi up to the box. Hmm...what color shirt? That was a question. Benny was of the assumption the idea was that the teams were supposed to be all wearing different colors to try and differentiate each other.
So he looked around and tried to spot all the others that were represented already. There were red and blue, purple and green so that kinda left those color families out. Leaving the yellow, gold and orange color sheme in play. Personally Benny had a good idea which might be the overall choivce but he offered the option anyway. "Which one?" he asked holding out a yellow shirt in one hand and an orange shirt in the other. The bestie's house or the bestie's favorite color.

Bowling? Well, she already kinda guess they'd do bowling today just looked at Moxley' clothes its screaming Bowling to her. And did she just says something about a slightly more interesting version of bowling? Now that peak her interest. Candice quickly copied the notes on the blackboard to her notebook. And boy that's a very long notes.
Okay now she need to find herself a partner. She was about to ask the little Lion who sat beside her to be her partner but Ava already beat her. "Sure! Let's partner up!" Its pretty funny that met at the Bowling Alley this summer and now they're going to play bowling. How awesome was that? Now they need a matching team shirt. "So do you have any specific color you want for the shirt?" She asked Ava while she got up from her chair and went towards the box on Moxley' desk, hoping that her fellow Gryffindor already followed her to the box. Or she could just stayed where she was and let her picked the team shirt. No biggie. "How about Purple shirt?" Candice picked up the Purple shirt from the box and showed it to Ava.

Huh. So, the shoes can be rented OR bought and brought into the bowling alley. Would you look at that? Muggles aren’t that gross after all. He knew they’ve got sense too…well, some of them at least. Closing his notebook, and stuffing it with the rest of his things inside his bag, Ethan got up and stood beside the box of shirts. Not much were left so he better go and pick a partner.
Actually, he wanted to partner up with Professor Moxley. How awesome would it be to team up with a teacher, yeah?

Milo was slightly worried he wasn't going to get a partner in time for the activity to start and then he wouldn't get to play but then an older boy, a Gryffindor came up to him and asked to be his partner. "Um, yeah, sure!" The first year said, a small smile starting. "I'm Milo. Should we go pick out some shirts then?"
He walked towards the box that Professor Moxely had brought out and peered inside. There were all kinds of colors to choose from. Making a mental note to not pick navy blue (since he was the only Ravenclaw in the pairing) and hoping that the older boy wouldn't pick red (since he was the only Gryffindor in the pairing) Milo looked at some of the other colors. "How about Orange?" He asked holding up a shirt.

Great. The older lioness apparently didn't mind to partner up with her. You know that sometimes the older students felt like they were so superior and didn't want to mingle with the ickles younger students, but apparently Candice wasn't the one. They're gonna be an awesome team! Team Cava!! (or Andice? Hehehe) "Have you played bowling before?" The younger lioness asked. Maybe she had, maybe not. But it didn't mind though...
And now it's time to pick up the shirt! At first Ava really wanted to pick the light blue one. She loves that color! But Candice already picked one for them and it's not blue. It's purple. Well, as long as it's not shocking pink or bright yellow like the sun. There's no FREAKING way that she's gonna wear that color. Noooooooooope. Besides, it seemed like the Ravenclaw students would gonna pick the blue color. "Purple is good." She nodded. It's not that too bright or too dark or too soft for a color.

No notes needed because AJ pretty much knew all of this, and writing notes were lame. Yeah, she didn't know all the super history type stuff with the dates, but she knew enough. She knew that she was about to have a good time. Bummer on the nacho front though. That would have really made this experience that much better.

Norah followed Brooklyn's gaze down to her prefect's badge, and smile widened. Heheheeh. She had one of those now, uh huh. The fact that she probably deserved it less than anybody in the whole world didn't change the fact that she had one AND that it was shiny. She'd made sure of the shiny part too. Shininess was very important, y'know.
"Awesome!" Why wasn't Brooklyn EXCITED? Activity time was the best time AND Professor Moxley was the best one so obviously there was going to be lots of good things. The Slytherin didn't seem to be making any attempt to retrieve shirts herself, so Norah spun on her heel to go pick out two purple shirts. "Catch!" she called, as she balled up one of the shirts and threw it in Brooklyn's direction. "I hope purple's okay. I can switch them out if you want." See that? That was maturity. Oh yeah.

Yes...he had been given the pick of shirts.
Which he had taken and narrowed down the colors in front of them. Benny had already kinda taken the lead with picking partners, he wasn't exactly the one to take too much lead between them. Better they were both happy with the choice. Not that either of them likely mattered what they wound up with for the lesson. Unless it was pink. Pink was something that looked weird on the Gryffindor...he was sure of it.
"Alright," he said with a nod as Adi finally chose. "Orange it is." Benny placed the yellow shirts back into the box for other team to take and then made sure the other orange would work on him. When it was right, he slipped it on over his uniform ready to go. What was up next, Professor?

"Awesome. Teamwork makes the dreamwork." Ahem. She was a little pumped, and she wasn't sorry about that. Not one bit. If this came down to a bowling competition, well, she had her money on her and Ethan. Just sayin'.
"Okay." AJ began to rummage through the colored shirts that were left. What color did winners wear? Aha! She found just the thing. The brunette held up two gold shirts. "The color of the medal we will get after we win this thing." What did he think? She tossed him one and looked around to see who was partnering up with who.

He looked around as everyone started partnering up...and no one seemed to want to partner with him. Probably because being partners with a prefect was intimidating or something. That was usually it.
"Anyone need a partner?!" Caleb called to the general area. Super smart prefect here, in need of a partner!

She didn't really mind Ava. She's pretty cool for a first year. So partnering with her would be fun. She hoped. And beside if she's not mistaken the younger Gryffindor grew up in Muggle school? So the girl might know more things than the other students. Definitely an advantage to have her as her teammate. "I have. Once or twice." She knew the basic but that's it. "How about you?" She was pretty sure Ava already played bowling before, right?
At first she's going to let Ava choose their team color but on second thought, what if she picked a color she didn't like. Like Hufflepuff yellow? That wouldn't do. So she decided to pick the color. Control freak here, hello. And she said Purple was good. "Purple its then."
Now that she already have her team shirt on, she just need to wait for the next instruction.

For some reason she never cared for the colour, though she thought purple was nice. Honestly, she would have worn any shirt the boy picked out for her.
Taking the shirt from him, she smiled. "I'm Paulina." Even though she wasn't huge on sports, she was rather looking forward to bowling because it wasn't highly competitive and it was rather laid back.
SHE LIKED GREEN TOO!
Obviously he'd done right picking a partner...even if technically she asked and he jumped at it before someone else did. That was all behind them, the important thing was he'd managed to find her size (Luck right there, he wasn't even looking at the sizes when he made the grab) and she wasn't giving him looks that told him to go away without drawing attention to the Professor. He knew how the big kid little kid thing went. He'd spent YEARS being the little kid at his Prep School then a few being the big kid that told little kids to 'shoo' and NOW he was back to being the little kid. Crazy, huh?
"Nice to meet'cha! 'm Blaise!" He said with a wide, dimpled grin. Admittedly, she was one of those girls he'd seen around in his classes but he'd never caught her name so this was even better. Now she wouldn't be 'that girl' anymore when his quick quotes quill took notes.
"I don't know that many Hufflepuffs." 'Cept the one he was forced to swap ties with in Charms Class. Needless to say, he didn't like that kid very much anymore.

Henric noticed llia had this worry look on her face.He couldn't help but feel sorry, but he would make it up to her by teaching her how to bowl!"Don't worry, llia. It's going to be fun...trust me," he reassured her, grinning wide. Was that a tint of pink on her cheeks? Ehem. Cute. *coughs* His disobedient hand lingered a little more when she held his hand. Umm umm..right! On with the picking of the SHIRT colour!
He waited for her to pick their matching bowling uniforms and when she found one, he instantly agreed."That looks brilliant, llia! Great choice."Another thumbs up for the bestie! Black and white team they were now, time to put them on."It looks a little big on you llia, but I'm sure you'll still look beaut-...I I mean great on you still." Smooth...Henric.*mentally palms head*
Henric buttoned his shirt all the way up, he thought this would be a nice Fred Perry shirt.Ooh.Nicee.Where was the mirror when he needed one. This retrooo look made him feel cooool....

"I'd love to work with you too. I'm Charlotte, only everyone calls me Dot, and we get to pick a shirt color out so we can match each other. I think..." Dot was quite good at colors, especially picking out flattering ones for people. "Pink, or magenta, I think. We have very different coloring, but I think it'll look cheerful as anything on us both." Dressing a Dot was harder than dressing a... who was this girl?
Oh, Charlotte! That was a pretty name; and the nickname was even more adorable, to be honest. "Which do you prefer?" She felt it had to be asked since some people didn't appreciate their nicknames. Like B calling her Rainbow. Reagan tolerated it. but it wasn't her favorite. "I'm Reagan, by the way...but everyone calls me 'Rea'. I don't mind which you use." Just so introductions were out of the way...See?! Now they were friends.
Also, this was going to be a lot of fun! She could feel it. "Pink just so happens to be one of my favorite colors. So, can we go with that?" Charlotte seemed very knowledgeable on the fashion front and Rea was relieved...as she'd never been called fashionable. More bohemian, actually, when she wasn't in her workout clothes..."I'll grab our shirts."
Acquiring two shirts, she brought them back and then went about removing her school robe to slip the pale pink material over her uniform. Her fingers shook slightly with her excitement. "We should come up with a Team NAME, too."

Good, the kid had accepted his offer to team up. It was kind of strange though, having a first year as partner. Not only were they in completely different years but also....why were first years so small? Had he been like that? Merlin's Beard. "Nice to meet you Milo" he answered, answering the small smile with one of his own. "I'm Yoongi"
As he followed Milo to the box he waited for him to pick a color. He honestly did not mind which color they were going to pick. But then he picked out a hideous orange one and his lip curled up as he looked at it. "Well..." he had secretly wanted to have the pink one, it would have blend well with his blonde hair but...if the kid wanted the orange one "alright, orange it is" eww. He grabbed the shirt, took off his robe and pulled the orange bowling shirt over his uniform. "How i look?" serious question.
