The Muggle Studies classroom is clean and inviting, sunlight streaming through the windows and casting a warm glow over the entire space. Perhaps this is why Professor Moxley seems to be in such a great mood. The brunette is perched on the corner of her desk at the front of the room, her outfit indicative of today's topic for discussion and her happy face sticker placed on her shirt, showcasing her current mood. Hopefully you're familiar with the new classroom rules because the Moxinator fully expects you to rock a mood sticker soon, as well.
The room is organized a bit differently this time around, the tables creating a big U shape, with Moxley's desk acting like a crown at the top. Once you've greeted the professor, why not sit down and relax a bit? You'll need your energy for today's lesson! That's a promise.

She would certainly go wherever he intended, so as long as he didn't step over the foul line... they should have been SOLID.
"YOU CAN DO IT," she called to him, because ultimately this was all on him and she was just meant to sit in there and look good. So when he started rolling her into position, Sophie wiggled to get comfortable, and... OFF SHE WENT.
Spinning, spinning, spinning-- CRASH!
She felt the pins tumble over as the ball made impact, and... FIVE PINS DOWN. There was one on the far side that hadn't fallen, but they'd gotten FIVE OF THEM. FIIIIIIIIIIVE OF SIX.
"ZANDER ZANDER LOOK WE GOT SO MANY." Could he even hear her inside the thing, which was now rolling back to him? ZANDERRRRRRR. "D'YOU WANNA GO NEXT?" If he did, she'd get out, but if he wanted she could GO AGAIN TOO. UP TO HIM.
AND SHE WAS ROLLING... AND ROLLING... AND ROLLING.... AAAAAAAAAND....
PIN CONTACT INITIATED!!
Zander was about to start running over to the end of the lane just to see how many pins they had managed when WOAH she was rolling right back over... Probably as a result of that objects in motion thing that Flamsteed was always on about and WAIT A MINUTE HE HAD TO STOP HER FROM ROLLING AWAY.
The Gryffindor held his arms out wide in attempt to somehow capture the incoming Sophie Brown, but all he ended up with was a giant bonk to the head. Oof. This thing was a lot more hurtful than he thought it'd be. Ahem. He also only sort of heard what all she was saying.... The plastic was muffling her voice quite a bit. Uuuuuuh? He was trying to read her lips though. Uh. What? NEXT? Is that what she said??
Unsure of what to do next, he decided to go ahead and unzip the ball thing. 'Cause Moxley did say something about switching off and he didn't want Sophie to get too dizzy 'cause that wouldn't make this fun at all. Plus it'd give another group the chance to take a turn. But also, were they meant to put the pins back up? 'Cause eh. Lazy. The next team could take care of it. The Gryffindor held his hand out to the Head Girl to help her out of the weird ball contraption, before he'd get a chance to step in.
Wouldn't it be fun to roll around in this thing together? Maybe Moxley would let them try it out at the end of class.

Well Dante was most definitely not expecting a pep talk. But it was a pretty good one so he listened since she had experience in the ball. While he did not. So it did sound like to was a lot harder than it looked to 'be the ball'
Well okay time to give it a try.
WOAH, He did not expect Ellery to push him that fast. He was flying towards the pins. He was aiming to get all six in one go and seemed to be doing well. But of course he had to trip over himself at the last moment and knocked down five.
That one in the far right corner just did not want to go down.
"WE GOT SOME PINS!"
But this was pretty awesome.

Her hair a little messy from all the fun, Sophie tried smoothing it down as Zander helped her out of the ball, giggling all the while. "Did that look as wicked as it felt?" 'Cause that had been AWESOME, and she was totally pumped to do it again. It was best to let Zander have a turn, though, so she could stop feeling the residual dizziness from spinning around. It actually took her a second to stabilize herself so she wouldn't fall over, but within a few seconds of staring at a point straight ahead to get her focus back, she was GOOD TO GO.
Doing her part to help HIM into the ball when it was their turn again, Soph got him allll zipped up and taken care of inside before giving the ball a few affectionate pats with her palm. "M'gonna take good care of you, okay? Don't worry." Though he SHOULD HAVE WORRIED because SHE wanted to send him rolling AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.
"READY?" Ready as he'd ever be, probably, and Sophie rollllled him back, way behind the foul line so she could get a good running start... squinted through and past the ball at the pins down at the end... then starting pushing slowly, letting it gain momentum, then started running, andddddd SKIDDED TO A HALT just short of the foul line, letting the ball containing the Head Boy go sailing past it and right down the lane with all her might.

GO GO GOOOOO.
"It was EPIC!" Zander beamed back at her, trying to stifle a chuckle at the sight of her bowling ball hair. Once Sophie climbed out, he took a deep breath and climbed into the ball himself, watching as Sophie zipped him up inside. This was weird. Felt like a giant fish tank or something. No LIKE A GERBIL in one of those balls! He grinned all goofy, indicating that he thought this was WICKED COOL. Forget rolling to knock out pins, Zander just kind of wanted to take this and roll it around the grounds. Maybe into the lake. It'd be a really good time, he was sure of it. But he had to focus. Ahem. 'Cause they had a game to win. Right. Right. Ahem.
Her words were still muffled as he was now within the ball, but he figured he got the gist of what she said and gave the ball a few good pokes. "I'm not worried," well okay, he was slightly worried. But mostly because he knew that Sophie was going to run him to the pins. There was no doubt about that. Plus, the Ravenclaw could really RUN. So this was about to get real intense. He could already feel it.
And as if she knew that's what he was expecting, she really did go for it. And he was rolling... and rolling... And now rolling on his own and THERE HE GOES THE PINS THEY'RE RIGHT THERE AND WOAH THIS FELT LIKE A KALEIDOSCOPE OR SOMETHING. THE WHOLE ENTIRE WORLD WAS SPINNING RIGHT BEFORE HIS--
CRASH!
"I'M OKAY," he tried to stand up, but only fell again as the ball rolled back over towards Sophie. Merlin. His head was doing a weird thing. Like his brain was pounding around on the different sides of his head. Woaaaaaah. BUT LOOK, LOOK AT THAT!!! "FOUR SOPH!" Attempting to hold up his fingers to show her and everything. Man. Could the floor stop moving? That'd be great. Thanks.

Going... going...
RATS.
Only FOUR pins. She did even WORSE AND LET HIM DOWN. Disgruntled - but still pleased that they got SOME pins, okay? - Sophie stood back as the ball of Zander came rolling back toward her, and she stopped it and unzipped it to help him out. "You are such a dork," she giggled in good humor at the way he'd fallen over and kept her arm extended in case he needed help steadying himself once he was out of the ball and properly on solid ground again. "We're doin' super good, though. That's nine, then, yeah?" NINE PINS. Which... okay, when considering that there were TWELVE total that they could've gotten by now, that wasn't SUPER great. But... three-fourths of the pins they had knocked down, so she was HOPING TO KEEP UP A GOOD STREAK LIKE THAT.
"Y'gonna be okay? How many fingers am I holdin' up, champ?" She held up three fingers in front of him, squinting at him suspiciously to make SURE he was okay. It... seemed like a good thing she was going next because she did NOT want him throwing up. No, no. Not allowed, Zander Adair.
When it was their turn in line again, Soph hobbled herself right back into the ball and gave Zander a THUMBS-UP. Yeah, she was READY WHENEVER HE WAS.

It only took a few seconds after Sophie stopped him before his legs started working all properly again. Merlin. That whole spinning thing did not go as planned. It was a lot more dizzy-inducing than he thought it'd be. But he was GOOD. So GOOD. He smiled right back over at her as she helped him get out of the ball and regain balance. "YEAH NINE!" he nodded, not bothering to look back to check to make sure if four pins really were knocked down. He trusted his own judgement. Sort of.
"I'm feelin' great, Soph!" He was still a little rocky, but gaining balance slowly but surely. And he didn't feel sick to his stomach at all. Just wobbly. But mostly because he hadn't really prepared for it all that much. Heh. Didn't realize that he'd be thrown off like that. "I can see fiiiiiine, you've got three fingers up," he nodded proudly as he helped her step into the ball and zipped her right up for her second go. And Man, had he ever mentioned how much he hated having to stand in line? It was the WORST. Except soon enough the line died down again and THEIR TURN THEIR TURN THEIR TURN.
"WE'VE GOT THIS ONE, SOPHIE!" He wanted to go for the STRIKE. The whole shabang. Take it hooooome.
So he rolled Sophie back a little bit, so he was far enough from the foul line to still get a running start and then THEY WERE GOING, GOING, GOING AAAANNNNNNNNNNNDDDDD SHE WAS GONE!"
And Zander Adair just nearly stepped over the foul line, but don't worry he stopped before he made a mess of things. Ahem. Couldn't let Sophie Brown down just yet. Eheh. Oop.

Moxley was enjoying herself. The professor could be seen perched on the edge of her desk, legs swinging and a gleeful smile playing on her lips. Every so often one might also hear a cheer from the brunette, as she found this whole human bowling thing to be quite exciting. Once the kiddos were done with class, the Moxinator might just invite some of the other professors over for a friendly game or two. Something told her she'd make an excellent bowling ball.
Eyeing her watch, Meredith noted they were coming up on the end of the lesson. Better give the kids a heads-up, yes? "Ten more minutes, everyone!" They'd better get the rest of their turns in while they still could!
OOC: A few people have wanted a clarification of the post count required for full credit since it's taking more than 5 posts to get a full 5 turns in! I'm sorry if that was unclear before. *sick brain*
My thinking was the following: OOC-5 posts for FULL credit! IC-The score from the team's 5 turns will be counted for the IC determining of who is the winner for the lesson, so for the students team to have their score weighed in, they'll need to complete their 5 turns (however many posts that ends up taking).

He didn't want to mess up or anything, not especially since Paulina had already gotten them four pins.
"Okay, ready!" Blaise said, once she'd gotten inside the ball. The first push barely had the ball moving but that was 'cause he'd underestimated it. This time Blaise pushed with everything in him cause he had to move the ball AND the girl inside the ball. At first it didn't seem like they were getting anywhere but then the ball picked up speed and soon it was running away from him.
"Wait!" Blaise tried chasing it but had to stop narrowly avoiding the line.
Oh man...oooohhh man. Hopefully...it...didn't end too badly? At least she was HEADING for the pins.
Merlin.
And they were off to a bumpy start.
At first she was barely moving, and then suddenly it was as if the ball had a life of its own. "WHOOOA!" Paulina exclaimed as she tried with all her might to keep going in a straight line. This was not as easy as it looked, and she was more sure than ever that being a pusher was the better job.
Thank Merlin that she wasn't getting motion sickness over here!
Approaching the pins, she tried steering herself towards the center, and managed to make contact with a few of them, knocking them over. "I did it!" She was quite frankly amazed that she had managed to avoid becoming a gutter ball. At least now she could go back to pushing.
"Your turn!" Getting out of the ball, she rolled it back to the front of the lane. That was another three pins to add to their score.
Post #5; 6 pins down, 15 in total for Team Brodair

It was a relief that Zander COULD see straight and knew how many fingers she was holding up, honestly, because he needed to be able to AIM her well and not be super dizzy and toss his cookies everywhere. So GOOD ON HIM for being in the zone and collecting himself well. He was good and dependable like that.
Giggling to herself as Zander got ALL sorts of pumped up, Sophie wiggled inside the ball, squinting down at the pins at the end of the lane. She was thinking about how he should aim and wished for the first time that she weighed more so she could make a bigger impact when she collided with the pins... but luckily, being as light as she was, that meant Zander could roll her faster and probably with better aim, too, and HE DID.
She was rolling faster this time, and getting dizzier this time, too, but-- CRASH!
The ball knocked into the pins, and Soph took a second to shake it off, stabilize herself, then look around her, and... ALL THE PINS. THEY WERE ALL DOWN. ALL SIX. AHHHHHH.
"ZANDER YOU DID IT YOU GOT A STRIKE YOU DID ITTTTTTT!" More thumbs UP for the Gryffindor as she went on rollin' back to him, beaming all the while. He was a CHAMPION. LOOK AT YOU GO, ZANDER ADAIR. SHOWING UP EVERYONE WHO EVER TRIED TO BRING YOU DOWN.

Ten more minutes?? Hopping Hippogriffs, where did the time go???? It must have been all that time spent on the theory of what muggles did for fun. Maybe next time they could do all the fun stuff FIRST then afterwards when there was barely any time left they could go over the theory part of the lesson. Was there a suggestion box he could put that into? He'd make his qull right the notes and everything! The Professor would be so impressed--or appalled--that she might take it into consideration!
A thought he'd seriously look into for later but right now IT WAS HS TURN TO GO AGAN!!! Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin! Oh Merlin!
Blaise just couldn't stand still as he waited for her to roll the back up to him. When she finally came to a stop, he climbed right inside again and tried getting himself some good footing. There would be no ball getting the best of him THIS time 'cause now he knew what to expect and he was PREPARED!
"Okay! Ready when you are!" He was gonna add more to the score she just got them. They were obviously winning at this; the fact nothing ended up in the gutter was enough for the little lion.

Oh man.... She wanted to go first.
"Can I go first? I can fit in better and you can push me harder. And then you can go. Please??" She was giving her the best pouty please eyes she could muster. She almost didn't wait and climbed right in but she had to be courteous.
"Alright, you can go first. I'll push you hard enough to knock down some pins," Timmy grinned, nudging Noelle into the bubble thing. But was she gonna be able to push her hard enough? Brian did always say Timmy was mostly muscle from all the workouts and dancing she did. It was why she would easily carry him sometimes and he'd get tired with her after a few steps.

Where had the time gone? Paulina was slightly surprised, though she figured that they had spent more time with the theory work than she had originally thought. Hopefully they would be able to finish all five turns before the time limit.
It was hard not to smile at how eager Blaise seemed to be. If only she could have the same enthusiasm when it came to becoming a human ball. But whatever. She patiently waited for him to get situated as she got herself in the right position to begin pushing.
Once he gave the go ahead, Paulina started rolling him forwards while trying to keep moving in a straight line. Must be a lot easier for her since she was bigger than him, but at least she wasn't massive because then he might not have been able to move her at all.
Nearing the foul line, Paulina let go and waited to see what would happen.

THE BEST HIGH FIVE EVER WAS INITIATED and SOPHIE BROWN COMPLIED. "Ow." Because it HURT, but Sophie giggled and rubbed her hands on her pants and briefly used Zander as a means of holding her up straight. Yep, don't mind her, she just... needed... to steady herself very quickly. Just a second... yes. Okay. There. She was okay. No dizzy. All better.
Just in time, too, because Zander was climbing INTO THE BALL FOR THEIR NEXT TURN. OKAY. "I guess you could say... we're on a ROLL." AHEM. Zipping up the ball because he probably didn't want to hear her bad jokes at the moment, Sophie walked backward, guiding the ball with her and getting them set up a way's back behind the lane. She gave the pins another long, hard squint of concentration, figuring out just where they needed to aim... and then without further hesitation, she shoved forward with all her might, rolling Zander... and rolling... aaaand ONE FINAL BIG PUSH just before the foul line as she came to a halt, very nearly falling OVER the line, but just managed to keep her balance and not ruin the turn for them.

She sped over to where the ball had stopped. It was her turn again. REDEMPTION time, aw yeah. Not waiting for Brooklyn to ask, she unzipped the ball in one swift motion, grinning at the sound it made. "Good one!" Norah turned right back around again and sped to the front of the lane. Waiting for your turn was a lot harder than it should've been. She still wasn't very good at the patience thing. Patience was boring though, so she wasn't too torn up about that. It was going to be a STRIKE this time, she could feeeeel it. Or maybe she was just hungry. Or BOTH.
It was getting kind of war sitting there surrounded by the ball. But Brooklyn couldn’t quite reach the start of the zipper, so she’d had to wait. At least she had the ability to be proud that she’d nearly gotten a strike. Nearly, not quite. But she’d bettered their score, so it counted. She hadn’t even noticed Norah’s reaction to her score, or how fast the prefect had sped down to her waiting in the ball. She hadn’t noticed until the zipper was opened swiftly, letting a rush of cooler air in and spilling her out rather uninvitedly. At least she was out, but she sat on the ground for a second or two, smiling to herself.
Looking up, she realized Norah was already back at the beginning of their lane, so she’d stood up and brushed her clothes off before pushing the ball back to her partner, who was obviously ready for another go. What with the fact she was practically bouncing. Brooklyn tilted her head slightly, shifting the ball slightly so the opening was near the Hufflepuff. “Ready?,” she asked. She’d shown how to control the ball now, so that meant there wasn’t any excuse for a second fail. It meant that the only acceptable thing would be a strike.

SPOILER!!: Angel
Angel smiled at Hady as she got out of the ball. "This is brilliant." Angel really thought that it was, she then added. "You've got this." Angel really hoped that there team work would show up now. "I know you have." Angel zipped her friend into the ball.
She then started to run with the ball, trying to stay dead centre because that is where they needed to be right, she wasn't sure when she released it, if it had just gone slightly to the right but she would find out soon. "Come on Hady!!" Angel cheered.
"So brilliant!" Hady instantly agreed without any hesitation whatsoever. She meant it this was such a good time add she was glad that her and Angel were partners too.
She held back a laugh when she heard Angel repeat the phrase she had said to her earlier. They so had this! It was all about the speed and angle she hit the pins at. Hady knew that as she felt herself go rolling quickly down the lane and didn't even notice that Angel had let go until she heard her cheering.
CRASH!!!
The snakette hit the pins dead center or at least that's what she thought happened as she heard the noise of pins wobbling and falling over. How many had she knocked down?
Craning her head back and to the side at a strange position she was able to count a few laying down. None were standing. None. She'd managed a strike! Yes!
Now all she needed was help out of this thing. Angel?

I mean, of course I knew all about the goblins, I was just surprised to see one in real life."
Gwen clambered into the ball with a goofy grin on her face. She was so happy that she had met the first potential friend. So what if her nerves made her talk too fast and too much? Maybe she could overcome that, and if not, well, that was okay too. Phillip gave her a push, and she was rolling down the lane. "Whee!" She yelled, centering herself to meet the pins.
??????????????????
Phillip STARED at the girl. When did the conversation get to one about goblins?! He WAS interested in what she was saying because he had never even MET someone from the USA before and here this girl was standing, as bold as brass. And all the information she was giving him was only making him focus on her and her only.
"So you get your money INSTANTLY? You don't have to talk to goblins or anyone?" Merlin, Muggles were LUCKY. "I've heard that goblins are SNEAKY but very good with money." Nod. See? He knew things too.
And why were they talking about this again?
"HERE WE GO!" he called, right before giving her a HEAVY PUSH down the bowling lane. She wasn't HEAVY so it wasn't HARD but the Slytherin wanted a strike. Maybe being heavy would have helped in this situation. More likely to knock down more pills.
But she was rolling and rolling and.............
"YEAH! SEVEEEEEEEEEEN!" Phillip jumped up and punched the air when the pins were knocked down. "GO TEAM.......... uh......... we need a team name, Gwen!!" Did it matter that they only had five minutes left? NOT AT ALL.
He didn't have to yell according to Yoongi which was good to know. Milo waited to be zipped up and then stood and faced the pins. He would get some of these knocked down for sure with the older boy pushing him.
The Gryffindor pushed hard and Milo was flung forward and almost fell but then ran with the ball straight towards the center of the pin lineup. But at the last second he veared to the left and hit the pins sending some flying. When he looked back he sw that four were lying on the floor of the blow-up lane. "Yoongi, we got four!" He cheered back to his partner as he walked back in the giant ball and then stepped out of it.
"Your turn." Giving the older boy space to climb in, Milo prepared to push the ball down the lane towards the pins.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!" screamed Ellery, jumping up and down and cheering Dante on loudly. FIVE ENTIRE PINS! She couldn't resist but check to see if anyone was beating them, and unfortunately it looked like a lot of people were, so she prepared to get back into the game.
When Dante came back and zipped her back up, she wriggled excitedly. She could feel the competitive buzz now. She zoomed down and managed to hit three pins! Three entire pins!!!

Angel looked at Hady as her friend got a strike. "AWESOME!!!!!" Angel looked down at her finger nails, seriously she was glad she didn't play bowling every day, she thought that Football and Netball was bad but this was just so competitive and she seriously didn't want all her nails chewed because it seemed she was starting to think about doing that.
*must not chew* She thought to herself. "Great Job Hady." Angel helped her friend out of the ball and got in it herself. "My turn now." Angel liked this better than she liked bowling the ball because even though you felt a bit sick everything was grand inside this little space. "Ready when you are."

A strike! She'd gotten a STRIKE!!!
YES!
To say she was a bit excited about this would be an understatement. Hady was thrilled about her strike even if this was human bowling and not average muggle bowling. This was awesome.
Hady grinned and nodded firmly as she got to her feet slowly. A little dizzy still but not to bad. "Yup it's your go." She let Angel get set inside the ball before zipping it up. Holding onto it she ran forwards keeping as much to the center of the lane as she could.
Nearing the line quickly Hady let go calling out to her partner, "Knock those pins down Angel, you got this!" Standing back now she watched her friend roll towards the pins. Hopefully she'd take down a couple more.

'WOOOOO!"
Dante was still mad he did not get a perfect six on the whole pins thing. He was one away and he wanted to be perfect. But five was still good and a really good start. He smiled and made the walk back to Ellery to give her her turn as the ball. Be the Ball.
He zipped her up and went back far enough to give him a running start and unleashed her on those pins like a Boss.
Like A Boss
While stopping before the line of course. He did not want to pump her back up or whatever he had to do
Three Pins was pretty good. Way Better than zero.

Angel was glad when she was moving again, she had a feeling that this one was a good bowl by Hady and she was glad she was partnering with her friend, they were just so much on the same wavelength which was weird since Hady was a year younger.
*smash*
Angel at the last minute got a bit nervous she had slipped and instead of hitting dead centre like it was going to it had veered to the left and she had a feeling she might have missed one.
She nervously looked around and let out a sigh as she waited for Hady to come and help her out, yes she had missed one and it was all her fault she would apologise to her friend when she was out.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.

He hoped his strength was good enough to roll a kid in a bubble away. But then as he watched him fly forward and he knew that he had at least some strength in his arms. Those workouts must have paid off!
He was looking at the little kid as he managed to move a bit to the left and as he did so, Yoongi saw a few pins knocked over and he celebrated the hit by throwing his arms in the air. "nice one!" he said as Milo got back and stepped out of the giant ball.
But now it was his turn. Couldn't he let the kid go ten times? But at the same time he did not want to admit he was nervous ...cause when an eleven year old could do it, you know? Besides, it wasn't as if the ball was in the air. He wasn't floating like in astronomy class. Merlin's Beard had he been terrified in that class. He just hoped the Professor didn't get any ideas of this game...
Stepping inside the giant ball, which wasn't that giant to him and he had to bend his head a little to fit in and turned to Milo, fake confidence in his smile. "Alright, zip me up"

"Okay!" He was excited to be the ball. With David's help, Olly got inside the large inflatable ball. It was so cool! He grinned and gave his partner/pusher a thumbs up. He was ready. As soon as David was ready to push, they were so going to win.
Alright, time to push his partner down the lane. Davie helped Olly climb into the ball and get comfortable. Once he seemed pretty settled and was giving Davie the thumbs up, Davie jogged backwards a few paces. He rolled up his slightly long sleeves, cracked his knuckles and his neck, and then took a running start to really give Oliver a strong push.
*SHOVE!*
And the ball was rolling...rolling...rolling down the laaaaane...!
