On the right side of the History of Magic classroom a door leads you out into a small mossy and overgrown courtyard. In its center you can find what looks to be a fountain if you can see through all the hanging vines and wild flowers in varying colours. Around the fountain there were benches once but they are covered in green moss now and probably hard to find. If you do wish to sit down here I'd be on the lookout for small critters and bugs. The ground is covered in a mixture of moss and grass which is pretty nice to walk on with bare feet.
The courtyard is a mostly quiet place that is perfect if you need a thinking place or somewhere to work out the ending to your homework essay. The Grey Lady likes this courtyard and hopes the students will do too. What she will not like though is if this were to turn into a new snog your girlfriend spot so if you don't want to anger a very old ghost then behave!

Marsha missed Glendower’s music and art and dance type expression room. She hadn’t gone there that often… but she knew that her Aunts Benny and Whitney had loved it, especially when they had gotten to play music with the Professor and talk to her afterwards just about things and life after Hogwarts in general. However, they had the new music classroom that she had found Adi playing in the other day, so she assumed it wasn’t all bad.
Especially, when you added in the fact that they had received this beautiful courtyard for the troubles of changing Professors.
It really was quite charming.
Even the amount of moss was awesome and cute and it totally could be one of her new favourite places to come and sit and think.
Moving slowly around the courtyard, Sha thought about what she wants to ask the Grey Lady the next time she saw her. She needed ten questions… Tapping her lip with the tip of her quill she looked down at the parchment in front of her… She had most of her questions, there were just a few left to figure out.

Planning lessons and double checking that she was following the syllabus had given Helena a light headache. Floating out into the mossy courtyard's silence and freshness she hoped to clear her head and mind. Maybe she'd seek out Sir Nicholas later for some company? They could watch the stars in the observatory when everyone was asleep.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the sight of a girl, walking around slowly with a quill in one hand and a parchment in the other. Curious Helena floated closer asking quietly "Are you already getting a head start on your homework assignments?"

The soft voice that revertberated around the courtyard, shocked the young Lion out of her thoughts. Looking up, and around quickly, Sha searched for the female who had spoken to her. When she found Helena, a small happy smile moved across her face. ”Good evening, Professor Helena.”
She smiled and looked down at the parchment she was holding. ”No, not homework. I’m working on an article for the Quill.” The thirteen-year old smiled again. ”I don’t know if you read my first article, but I have a second column too.” With yet another grin, she moved towards the Ravenclaw House Ghost and new History of Magic Professor.
”I am going to be introducing and interviewing our five new Professors, and I was hoping that you would be free soon to answer the questions I have organised? I’ actually just trying to figure out the last few at the moment and I thought your courtyard might give me some inspiration.” Though, she was nervous about the interviews, she wasn’t as nervous now that she had published her first article.

Professor Helena....
This young lioness was the second student in a short time that had called her 'Professor' in a more private setting. The student's of course called her that in her lessons. It was just not what she defined herself as. She was a lady who had agreed to teach because Headmaster Botros had asked her if she was willing to do it just like her mother had for the school.
Focusing on the lioness before her Helena said "Good evening, Ms Hanover isn't it?" Apparently the girl was not doing homework at all but writing on an article for the school newspaper. At least it wasn't the gossip ra--. Her line of thought was stopped by the girls next words. Staring at her she asked not sure if she really had heard correctly "You want to interview me? Ask me questions?" Floating closer to the fountain she admitted "I might have read your other article, it was about the pheonix wasn't it?"

Smiling, the redhead nodded her head. ”Yes, Marsha Hanover.” She replied with a second smile as she dropped her hands down to her sides so that it didn’t look like she was being rude and ignoring the Ravenclaw House Ghost. ”It is lovely to meet you officially, outside of the classroom, I mean.” Not that she hadn’t seen her around the Castle last year… but it was different once you had had a one-to-one conversation with someone.
This time, her smile faltered as she nodded her head quickly. ”I would love it, if you happen to have the time? I am aiming to interview Professors Meyer, Baxter, York, yourself… “ The lioness faltered slightly. ”And the new Care of Magical Creatures Professor when they get revealed.”
”I promise it won’t be a long interview… ten questions at maximum to let my fellow students get to know you. You’re history must be fascinating… I mean everything that you have seen happen within these walls…” Yes. Marsha was excited to interview the new Professors… was she too enthusiastic? Possibly, but at least she was ALSO this excited about their respective subjects.
Beaming, Sha nodded. ”Yes, my first piece was about the Phoenix and Hogwarts ability to heal.” Smiling wide at the fact Lady Helena had read her article, Marsha waited silently to see whether the Professor would agree to an interview or not.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too Marsha. The classroom doesn't leave any room for private conversations." Helena admitted with a small nod. How she liked it honestly, it meant that the focus was on the topic of the lesson.
10 questions!
She supposed she shouldn't be surprised. Any article with any type of depth to it required more than a handful of questions. Raising a transparent hand Helena corrected. "Yes I'm new to teaching but not new to the school." Since she after all had been a house ghost here for a number of hundred years in counting.
Picking up her hourglass from a pocket on her dress Helena gave it a glance before she re-pocketed it, her decision made. "I will agree to let you interview me Marsha, because I think you are a talented writer and someone I think who will do me justice on paper." A compliment she hoped that she wouldn't need to regret later.
"I'm sure hogwarts will heal, it's you and your peers that are the key to that you know?" Helena stated as she sat down on what used to be a bench.
<3 I'm not going to ask the questions, people should read the article. Hehe.

Nodding, the redhead agreed with her new Professor. While it was weird to learn TOO much about their new Professors, she personally thought that it would be nice to get to know them a little better so she had asked for permission to start a new type of column. A Professor Spotlight article that would focus on the five new Professors’ they had this term - although the Care of Magical Creatures Professor had been hard to find time with so far.
”Of course… I was actually hoping to ask you a question regarding that... “ Nodnod. ”I just need to find one more questions - but I was thinking that I would likely think of something when I ask you these and could then add it in… it isn’t like anyone will know when they read it back.” Grinning, Marsha followed the Grey Lady across the courtyard. ”The honour would be mine Lady Helena!” Beaming now, she looked at the ghost as she sat down.
”I know that as well, there aren’t a lot, if any of the Professors teaching now who taught my Tad when he was here… so we will heal. It will just take a little time.” Standing in front of her, she nodded.
”Do you have time for me to ask the questions now? Or would you prefer that I come back, as I can do either.”
Dante needed a quiet place to read his book on transfiguration he borrowed from the library. He decided against staying in the library since it did get a little weird in there. Sometimes glitter just sailed past your face and you have no idea why and other times you would rather not see other people reading for whatever reason.
He plopped down on one of the open benches and opened up his book.
Now onto the interesting subject of Human Transfiguration.

Helena agreed to the interview in part because of her dear friendship with Sir Nicholas and part because it'd increase her notability around the school. She held though secrets in her past which she was not prepared to disclose in a quill article. Some things were better left buried. It was for the best.
Gesturing for Marsha to sit down on the moss next to her she said "I have time now. Let's get started, unless you have to go eat some dinner first?" Helena didn't need to eat like the living did and hadn't done so in many, many years. Now she had to satisfy herself with rotten food. "In what house was your father sorted into?" Helena politely queried.

Smiling widely, Marsha skipped across the courtyard. ”My dad, mum and step-mum were all Slytherin, but my Granda Hayden Ward and Grandad Carwyn Eris were both Ravenclaws?” Who knew, maybe she remembered them. Though, Granda didn’t go to Hogwarts for very long having transferred from Durmstrang. Hmm.
”No, I’m good for now. I will get food afterwards.” Settling herself on the moss beside the Ravenclaw House Ghost, Marsha looked down at her questions and started with the first one on her list; your full name. Smiling, she wrote down the answers and moved down the first few questions she had before moving on to the actual interview.

Watching Marsha skip around the courtyard Helena had to focus on the names of those past eagles in order to not say something about the second year's un-lady like behaviour. Ladies never skipped they glided. With a small shake of the head the Grey Lady said "I don't remember your grandparents but many, many students have passed through these halls over the years."
Setting her hands in her lap Helena smiled faintly. "All right, I can accompany you to the great hall afterwards, now what did you want to ask me Marsha?"
