A large number of floor-to-ceiling bookcases fill up the library, creating aisles upon aisles of books available for students to read and browse. To make finding books for all years a little easier Mr Kitridge has divided the bookshelves into sections like romance, suspense, crime, history, plants and fungi etc.

To return books just walk up to the appropriate shelf and hold up the book. The gripping charm in place on the shelves will take a hold of the book. When you feel a tug on the book let go and the book will fly up and find its right place amongst the other books on the shelves. When retrieving a book you can use the sliding ladders or if you feel confident with your magic you can use a simple accio charm to retrieve the book you want.

In front of each aisle there is small set of desks which students can use to complete homework, copy notes, take book references or chat. Keep your voices down and be mindful of falling books and other students accessing books around you.

Moving together down to the fourth floor, Benny had taken the minor lead as they quietly slipped into the library. There were option, but the seventh year was headed to the library stacks. Surely there was an unused corner and desk they could borrow. It wasn't as if there was all that much studying going on halfway through the term.

Finding one, he set himself down in on of the chairs, leaving the other for his partner. No Botros...they weren't a couple. "So I suppose onto our questions," Benny mused, setting the flashcard onto the table between them. "You can pick where we begin."

Walking only a step of two behind Benny as they made their way to the library Hady had no trouble letting him direct where they went. A corner off to the side away from everyone else that held two chairs and a small desk was a good spot. Nodding her approval the snakette slipped down into the seat across from her partner.

"Yeah I guess getting riget into the questions is best." No point in starting with other things and running out of time. The listed questions first then they could talk about whatever else if they had time and wanted to. A quick look at the questions on the flashcard had her wrinkling her nose in distaste. Really, who told each other this stuff during a common conversation? She certainly.

"Uh alright. How about where do you want to be in ten years?" That seemed like the easiest of them all for now.

Benny saw the look that crossed the Slytherin's face and had to agree. They weren't the greatest questions, especially to start out with someone they weren't that closest to like he and Hady. As such he was mildly greatful that his partner had opted for the one that wasn't all the obtrusive. He was at least mildly sure of part of his future in 10 years. There was a big chunk in his life that had rocked part of the prediction.

Okay...so maybe it wasn't the easiest question.

"Working with dragons...hopefully alongside my best friend and his hippogriffs," he finally answered. That was the safe portion. Benny bit back a sigh on the realization he wasn't sure that he wasn't going to be alone as the third wheel of that arrangement. "How about you? Where do you see yourself?"

This was the simplest question of the five right? Most people their age had at least thought about what they wanted to do after school. Hady already knew exactly what she wanted to do and had known for at least two years already.

The Gryffindor's answer didn't really surprise at all except that he wanted to work along Adi! "If that's the case then it's good we're getting to know each other. I want to to be a Magical Creatures Healer and Adi wants me to help him keep his Hippogriffs healthy along side AJ." Yeah Adi and her spoke about this a few times already. The idea was awesome.

"You can choose the next question." They could take turns with picking the questions.

His eyebrow had raised even before he even thought about it as he heard what she was saying. Benny was trying to think if he remembered anything about this topic from Adi or AJ previously. Not that he was doubting the Slytherin girl, not in the least. "That's cool," he admitted, offering her a small smile. "I suppose our partnership is certainly to our advantage then." You know...if they were really going to be working together when they were all grown up.

And it also meant they were done with their first question, the words disappearing from the flash card in question like Botros had mentioned. "Alright," Benny accepted with a nod as he glanced at the other four questions given to them. Which one could they both do next? Seeing as he was going to have to follow through as well.

"How about sharing something personal?" You could still choose just HOW personal the information being shared was.

Hady took notice to the look she got from him and something told her he didn't know. Oops? Should she not have said anything about that? It's not like it was a secret though. "I would think so." If they were all to work together it was best to know one another.

Watching the question they had both answered vanish Hady gave her partner a moment to decide which question would be next. Only the one he choose made her cringe inside but she simply gave a nod of her head.

"Alright. Well um I'm actually adopted," she admitted quietly with a quick glance around where they were just in case. It's not that she didn't want anyone to know this but more so the fact that she felt it wasn't anyone else's business. Honestly she wasn't even sure how many people knew this.

As he waited to see what Hady would tell him, Benny had to admit, he was inwardly surprised that it was to that level. Not that he showed it, not wanting the younger girl to feel uncomfortable about the share. "Oh...alright," he answered, trying and failing to sound supportive if it was needed. She already was apparently nervous, given her looking around them for people who might overhear the news. Was it THAT much of a secret?

Benny didn't know, but he also figured he should probably share something of equal reveal. However he had no real luck in that matter...his family life wasn't that interesting. "My mum and her side of the family are from the States," he answered weakly, thinking of the only thing about his parents that came even close.

The lion seemed a bit out of sorts with the information Hady had given him. "It's okay, my parents and my birth parents were actually really close friends. I just don't tell very many people cause sometimes they treat you differently for things like that and I don't like being treated different then anyone else." That made sense right? Hady figured she might as well give a small explanation since she told him that much.

Benny's confession made her smile and she nodded at him. "As in America?" That's what he meant right?

Since it was once more her turn to pick the question she scanned her eyes over the paper. "How about something that worries you or that your afraid of?" There is was question three. It didn't seem all that bad honestly.

Benny nodded in acceptance as she further explained the situation that she had brought up with her answer. "Alright. And I wont." As if treat her differently. Family was family and it shouldn't effect how other saw you. Not blood...not purity...not anything of the sort for that matter. As she in turn asked for mild clarification to his own admittance, the Gryffindor nodded once more. "Yeah...as in America. Sorry I guess I use the lingo." Actually he supposed if he really did he'd call the United States, the colonies, like some Brits did.

And then the next question was asked of him. The one about worry and fear that had been part of him feeling uncomfortable about the questions in the first place. Benny almost went for his fear of spiders...the one that had crippled him the previous term. But he supposed many had that fear now, to some degree, given all that had happened with the school and the acromantula invasion. So the seventh year set on another.

"I'm worried on ending up alone." His gaze falling to the wooden surface between them. Not just without an other half, made more prevolent by the end of him and Angel. But the constant concern that even Adi and AJ will eventually leave him behind. "What about...what about you?" Benny tentatively asked, knowing he needed to turn the tables with the activity.

She gave a light smile when the older boy said he wouldn't treat her different. That helped a little and she hoped it was true. Only time would tell though. "Thanks." Her smile turned into a soft laugh." "I knew what you meant. I live in America...well not for much longer since we're moving but yeah." She shrugged her shoulders a little.

Now that the question was asked there was no turning back. Benny's answer though made her feel bad about picking this question however only she tried to mask that feeling. The feeling of loneliness was a really strong one and she knew it well now. Why the Gryffindor felt this way she wasn't sure, maybe it involved Angel but she wouldn't ask. "I would say spiders but most of us fear them now. So I guess being forgotten is a big thing for me right now." She may have made a few new friends this term but she felt like she was losing the important ones. Just like how she lost Jaxon over the summer and now Zeke was moving on as well.

It apparently meant a lot that he had said what he did. Benny knew the feeling of having to be concerned about changes of views, at least at this point in his life. "You're welcome," he said, before listening to Hady continue and feeling the part of a fool. Sometimes one had to remember not everyone came from Great Britain that went to Hogwarts. "Alright...I had just thought there was confusion." And now it was over and done with and they were onto the next question which he had already answered.

He had recovered most of his control by the time Hady broke the silence once more with her own answer. See...spiders were pretty high up their in the mutual fears. "Yeah...I've never been a fan," he absently mused in agreement to the first thought before nodding at her second and finally looking back up. Forgotten would seemingly go hand in hand with ending up alone.

Another question vanished from their flashcards.

Benny looked at the remaining two, not a fan of either. But he surely had no clue how to handle the impressionist one for the secret one. Being shy and reserved most times gad its advantage of a few of those he could manage. "Would you tell a secret."

She gave a small nod of her head with a slight smile. He understood and that was good enough for her. Nope no confusion on one being from American if if she would be moving away from there soon. It was currently a thought she didn't want to discuss just then.

Thankfully she didn't have to for the next question was being asked and answered. "I didn't mind them until the year where we had to shrink them and put them into jars." That hadn't been to bad but one had landed on her and then well last term with being bitten by the baby ones and all that. No it wasn't something she wanted to have happen again. "I don't believe there's many of us that do like them now." Simple fact right there.

It was Benny's turn to select the next question and when he did the Slytherin nodded slowly. Yeah she could do that. Only this was she didn't have very many secrets that were share worthy unless being adopted counted for anything but he already knew that. "Uh well I can actually dance really well and I enjoy doing it." Not a big secret but only one other person in the entire castle knew about that.

Yeah...that lesson.

Benny had had to bite the inside of his cheek and try to grin and bare it. But then he supposed the encouragement to make them smaller helped...he didn't much mind them when they were small. Unless they attacked of course. "I'd have to agree there." Even Adi had issue with them now, including just the webs of the creatures. But that wasn't his secret to tell in the midst of this question and answer session. He'd deal with his own soon enough.

Speaking of secrets, they were onto that statement due to his choice, and the seventh year listened as his partner answered. Was it just him or did it feel easier for a secret to be shared than something personal? "Cool," he remarked about her dancing. It was a talent to be happy with, even if one he certainly didn't share. As for his secret to share, he momentarily debated his options in his head before going with one of the most recent.

"I got turned into a dragon over the summer."

His agreement on the spider topic was nice and didn't make her feel so childish. She wasn't normally one that had fears or admitted them. This was okay though sharing the same fears with others and all in good reason.

Her dancing secret went by well and she nodded. "It's become a bit of a habit since the summer." She had started dancing again a lot and well now just couldn't help it when she randomly drummed her fingers on a desk or something.

The older boys secret though. Now that was just epic! No doubt that it had been Adi that had turned him into one. "No way?, what was it like?" Can't blame her for being curious.

Hady knew they had one question left and she looked at it. "Want to go first with that or shall I? Mind you though I'm horrible at impressions."

Uh huh...uh huh. Benny was attentive and interested in what the Slytherin had to say, even if he wasn't speaking much. That was a revelation of his personality, if she wasn't already aware of it...that he didn't often speak all that much. This one-on-one session was a big deal in that regard, especially since Adi or any of his other friends that could get him talking was around to do just that.

His own secret certainly got a response from Hady, the Gryffindor wondering if her connection to Adi if she was aware of his best friend's long-standing dream. Or just that it was him that had done it. "It was...awesome," he admitted with a smile," especially the flying." It totally surpassed flying on a broom in extraordinary circumstances which had inticed him to use it when trying again on his patronus.

"Maybe you should..." he mused, apprehensive of the whole matter. "And you wouldn't be the only one. I'm not even sure who to do."

Her partner may not be very talkative but that was just fine by her. All that mattered here was the fact that he was contributing to their assignment, which Benny was doing. Oh and not to mention he seemed like a really nice guy, why was it they'd never truly spoken before? Hady wasn't sure but they were speaking now.

Awesome? Well of course it had to of been awesome! Hady couldn't help but grin at the older lion. "Only thing I've ever been was a fox and that was for our Potions homework. Being a dragon though... that had to be a blast." Hady couldn't image how much fun that could be. If riding a dragon was anything to go by being one had to top everything!

Well alright then. With a nod of her head she accepted going first. "Um.." She thought a moment and then smiled brightly at him snapping her fingers as she tried to be their Divintation professor. "Help yourself to some peppermint tea and a cookie." She told him trying not to laugh as she snapped her fingers and sipped a cup of pretend tea.

Yeah sorry. That's all she had for that one. Impersonations weren't really her thing.

Benny nodded in agreement at her feelings about his transfiguration. "It was...and I was a reindeer." In case one wanted that extra tidbit of information in there about his own potion homework. Then he sat back and watched for the immitation, inwardly wondering what he himself could do for his own attempt. "Professor Morgan," he quickly indentified with a smile. "Pretty good." Not his all-time favorite professor...but up there.

Then it was his turn.

The Gryffindor cleared his throat as he tried to remember how Thompson sounded, finally getting something a little close to it and saying... "Today, we'll be learning about our fine feathered flying friends here. Who can name a type of flying horse?"

Yeah...that was a total fail.

Oh a reindeer! Now that had to be interesting! "That had to be very different to get used to." Since he would be on four legs but somewhat tallish and stuff. Not so low to the ground like she had been as a fox.

Her attempt at Professor Morgan wasn't all that great but Benny knew who she was easily. "Yup!," Hady laughed snapping her fingers at him and pointing when he answered correctly. Good job Benny!

Sitting back in her seat she watched as he gave his impression a go. At first she wasn't sure who he would be until she heard the words he said and she grinned. One of her favorite Professors! She loved CoMC. "Professor Thompson, nice work." She smiled lightly nodding her head.

A glance at their flashcard showed that they were finished as the last question faded away. It was time to get back to class as well.

"We shoulder probably head back before we're late, ready to go?" Hady rose to her feet and waited on her 'new' older friend so they could walk back to the room together.

She was getting bored of school. She wondered if she was the only one. She knew that she couldn't have been the only one. It was her last year and school was just getting boring and repetitive to her. Larissa knew that people got bored of school all the time but she felt at a place like Hogwarts she shouldn't get bored at all but here she was bored. The brunette was in need of some entertainment and books were a great source of entertainment. Friends were too but she didn't have many of those due to her shyness. She wished that her shyness would just go away but that wasn't happening anytime soon.

Henric thought maybe he could hide in here for awhile. He needed to get himself drown in the world of dragons to help calm his whirlpool of thoughts and worries. He had yet to see llia around..perhaps she was at the lake,study table or in her dorm...merlin she could be anywhere. Henric's heart jumped when he heard a female voice beside him."Oh! Its just you,Rissa! I thought you were someone else,ha-ha..*ehem*"he coughed, clearly trying to hide his embarrassment. He rubbed the back of his neck,"Yeah, you're right...I have no idea too.Umm..maybe, we both like books and solitude,"he replied. "How have you been,Rissa? How was your holidays?"he asked, smiling a little.

Most of the students he'd seen today should be finishing up on their studies by now,they wouldn't loiter around in the library any longer than they have to. He guessed he had reasons to stay back, he wondered if hers were the same as well? He realised Rissa had been pretty quiet since the day she got here. Had she been making a lot of friends? He often seen her around school either sitting or walking alone."Meeting someone? Oh no,that is the last thing I have in mind right now."Henric realised he had replied her a little too quickly."I- m-mean I'm not meeting anyone...I'm here to borrow some books,"he assured her. Why was she looking down on the floor like that? Had he said something wrong?

"Oh that's great, how was Hogwarts Christmas Feast Celebrations? Delicious? I heard there was a big tree decorating event here.Too bad I missed it,"he said with quite the same amount of sadness in his tone."Me? I went back home so I could help out with the preparations. My parents played host for the annual christmas community charity event this year. We set up a feast for the homeless and I came up with the idea of exchanging presents and game activities for umm..some of my little friends at the orphanage.Yeah...we had fun.All in all, it was great too,"he told her.

After Olathe's stroll with Adi down the pathways she had decided to head to the library. She wanted to learn more about the creatures they had seen and she couldn't think of a better place to find books about them. Olathe wondered through the rows of book shelves scanning for any books about hippogriffs. She had plucked several from there spots among the other books when a book about unicorns caught her attention. She added it to her large collection and turned heading for the tables carefully balancing the stack of books as she walked.
