Racing down the hill to get to her ball, she tripped and went sooooarinnng, and landed face first into the snow. Her and her two left feet. Owie. Adjusting her gloves, because her pinky ring was getting caught in the fabric, she looked at Janelle again. "I haven't decided what I wanna make yet though. Do you have any ideas??" she asked before bending and packing the base into a tighter ball.

Wrapping herself in her winter coat along with the mittens and scarf, the young lioness walked to the igloo and joined the people to build the snowman. She usually built this with her twin brother but for now... Maybe working with the other people would be more fun. At first, Ava wanted to join Adi and Benny but well... she hung out with the Hufflepuff prefect very often and it's very great to work with him. But, maybe working with anyone else would be great, especially to whom that she'd never talked to. She loves making friends with everybody!

Oh look, there's her fellow lioness Noelle and a girl that she didn't know her name yet. She's gonna join them. "Hey guys!" She greeted them. "Mind if I join?"

Paul smiled at Yoongi. Adorable. Just adorable. He was glad something as small as a cape could make someone's day, especially Mr. Hyland.

Paul's eyes widened. "Oh, Mr. Hyland--are you okay? Do you need to skip out and rest? You seem like you don't feel quite right--have you taken potions?" he asked softly, but the boy...well, he seemed insistent on staying out here and playing in the snow .__. Paul didn't know if this was ADVISABLE when he was coughing like that--what he coughed out a lung, RIGHT here and now, eh?

"I'll let you name it--" Snowy...Snowystein? Merlin. "That is...a perfect name for a SNOW man, Yoongi!" he chuckled at the silliness and took a shovel. "So...first we need the biggest roundest part for the bottom...unless we made some weird snowman with a really fat middle." Which he'd DONE, by the way, with his nephews before. Silly little things. Silly little...almost teenage things, now. Hmph.



....Paul was leaning on his shovel, waiting for a response from Yoongi...when suddenly...he looked down when he felt it, too. His FEET. COVERED IN SNOW! Paul laughed a LOT and almost felt like he couldn't budge--but he kicked one foot out, sprinkling snow all around him, and then used his HANDS to pull the other leg out of the dense pile of snow.

He squinted around...hmm..WHO DID THIS? Paul would get them back, he would..."Mr. Hyland..." he whispered. "Did you see who do that?" He was smirking quite wickedly. "Because if you did...I want to get them back..."

Sabbath had just been owled a package of his grandmother's roscos Navideños. He was walking absent-mindedly trying to re-wrap the sweet biscuits. As delicious as they were, he couldn't eat them now, he needed a hot drink to dunk them in, and preferably coffee. Sensing the ediface in his peripheral vision, he looked up from his re-wrapping handywork, and, there it was-- a giant igloo. Well, that's not something you see everyday. His curiousity got the better of him and he found himself passing through the entrance tunnel.

To his surprise, the interior was cosy, warm, and full of the chatter of activity as students were sorting through trunks and busy making the rudiments of snowmen. He slipped his biscuit package into his satchel and walked over to one of the trunks. Rummaging through a little, he pulled out a rather trendy vintage fedora hat. He quite liked it, thank you very much. He popped it on his own head.

He grabbed a spare pair of mittens, as in his haste and distraction from the Roscos Navideños, he'd forgotten his own. He hadn't spotted anyone he knew as yet, so he thought he'd take a look around and check the progress of some of the snow sculpting. He starting wending his way through the bustle and energy. Maybe, he'd even do a bit of snow sculpting himself.

While Janelle and Noelle were pondering what to make, someone new wanted to join the group. It was a girl that Janelle had seen in class, but didn't really know. She thought her name was Ava? More people to meet, more friends to make. Yay. "Hi", Janelle said warmly. She certainly didn't mind if the new arrival joined there group. The more the merrier, in her opinion. But since she had kind of crashed Noelle's party, she turned to the Gryffindor to give the OK. In the meantime, she would introduce herself.

"I'm Janelle. We were just trying to figure out what to make. I was thinking about checking out the trunk of props......you know.......to get some inspiration," This was going to be so much fun. Janelle had already met two new classmates and well, there was snow. What more could you ask for?

Zander was observing. He wasn't quite sure if he wanted to do the snowman thing 'cause the boy had opinions on this whole cold weather situation. He wasn't a fan of the winter. It made going to the treehouse unbearable. And ever since the eternal winter of third year, it was by far his least favorite of all the seasons.

And that's when he saw it happen. Well okay, he didn't see how it happened. But he saw it happen. And it had Sophie Brown written all over it.

Sticking his hands in his pockets, Zander circled the nearby area, stopping ever-so-casually right next to Myers and Yoongi, just in time to hear Myers inquiring. He wanted to get them back? Perfect. Hehehe. "I'd place my bet on Sophie Brown," he looked around the area decided to focus in on a group of first years working together. Didn't need Sophie to realize what he was doing. Aheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeem.

"Y'know, she got voted 'most likely to initiate a snowball fight against the Professors' back in third year." Clearly trying to live up to the legacy. Who else would provoke a Professor like that? HM?

And then he finally turned to face the two of them, bending down to collect some snow as if he was helping with the snowman. "And I'd like to help you get her back," heeheheeeee. "By giving her what she wants," a snowball fight. Only, when she least expected it. "What do ya say?" HM? C'mon Yoongi was on board, right?

IT'D BE THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY!!!! Ahem.

Yoongi shook his head. “No i haven’t but I don’t want to take disgusting potions, besides” he coughed again. “I’m always sick in the winter, It’s a special gift of mine” he laughed and wrapped the sparkly cape around him for extra warmth. Not that it made much difference.

“I KNOW right!?” he said as the Professor agreed that it was the perfect name for a snowman. He was cool yup. “At first I wanted to call it Yoongi of Snowystein! But then I thought…I’m not cold ..well i have a cold but I’m not cold as in cold-hearted. I’m a warm and awesome person who according to Norah gives excellent advices. She was REALLY cool in Herbology that day right?! “ true words~

Oh right, the snowman. Yoongi listened and chuckled as he had an image of a fat snowman in his mind. “Let’s do that! A normal snowman is so boring. We can like, give it a small sized t-shirt so that it looks like it ate too much and and….” He turned around and stooped down to check the trunk. “What about a top hat? And a cape! Not this one though, this one is mine” As he searched and eventually got up holding various items in his arms, he turned around and raised his eyebrow as he saw Sophie Brown pointing her wand at the Professor’s shoes.

………Should he say anything? She was a Head Girl! Why would she do that? Was this a ‘this is my last year here I’mma do whatever I want phase?’ Before he could think of something, the Professor was laughing and Yoongi blinked at him. That was really cool of him, not getting angry. But then he said something horrible. Had he seen who had done that. Yes, he had … his dark eyes moved to the place Sophie was standing for a split second before he looked back. “Uhm, I don’t know…" oh good Zander to the rescue~! Or ..no... he wasn't. He widened his eyes as Zander actually snitched on his girlfriend. They were a couple right?! "What are you doing?" he whispered at him through gritted teeth.

Well Mr. Hyland was certainly chatty! Paul didn't mind one bit, though. He just smiled and got on the ground and started to roll the bottom ball of the snowman. "Well, Mr. Hyland, there are some natural things you can take for a cold--I have some tea in office that might help, you know, if you ever wanted to stop by." He said with a chuckle.

As for the name..Yoongi Snowystein. Heh. "You don't seem like a very cold person, no, My. Highland." Not at all. Very friendly, very chatty. Also pretty bright. "Yes, Norah is a very smart girl...you're lucky to be friends with her." Well, he assumed they were friends, since he gave his flower to Norah. "And YES! I love that idea--a small t-shirt--" before finishing the bottom of the snowman, he crawled over to the trunk to look for a little t-shirt. "We can do a hat and a cape, too--" he was focused on finding this TINY SHIRT.

...Whaaaaa?

Did Yoongi not know? Well that was unfortunate---

He blinked up at Zander and scrambled to stand, brushing some snow off his knees. "....DID SHE?" he gasped. SOPHIE BROWN. DID YOU REALLY WANNA' START A WAR WITH PAUL MYERS? Paul squinted at Sophie's turned back...and then back at Zander. "I'm in, Mr. Adair. However, I am...a professor here. We have to be...careful---" he poked Zander's chest. "And YOU have to be willing to take the fall for me, you know--" he chuckled a little. "No no, I'll have your back--we--what are your ideas, Zander?" he turned to Yoongi. "Mr. Hyland...ARE you in?" He was a Gryffindor? Come on?

Snow wings might collapse in some cases, it would depend how they were carved and presented in the snow.

Gravity could be killer.

The lion turned as he heard a familiar voice, seeing Paulina there looking at them as she asked to join them. "Hey...I guess," Benny remarked, looking ever so briefly at Adi. Would it be okay if she was near? The boys had been thinking of having fun in the snow on their own. But he wasn't quick to just push the girl away. "How about you help us by making a badger? "

There was always a badger with THIS dragon.

Nobody has answered his question. Well that was just rude. Though he did have to admit that he hadn't actually been asking anyone in particular, so no one had been obliged to answer. Maybe they hadn't heard him. Next time, he would make sure to yell.

But for now he would go about making his own regular non-enchanted snowman. And if someone were to kindly enchant it, that would be cool. Maybe he could ask someone later. But there was no way to enchant a snowman without the actual snowman. Yes, it was a process.

One that would be more fun with a friend, of course. But Olly didn't know a lot of the people who were in the igloo already. Or they were already working with someone. Whatever, he could work by himself. Or he could make new friends. Oliver spotted a first year boy who he vaguely knew but hadn't really spoken to much. It was understandable considering they were in different houses. But Oliver made his way over to him and gave the boy a friendly smile.

"Hey. Sabbath, right? Want to help me make a snowman?"

Beaming, she packed the snow around the base. Her eyes darted to the trunk. Hmmmmm! All the ideas!

"Hi Ava!" Noelle beamed at her still packing the snow. "Wanna join? Janelle and I are trying to decide what to do. I'm thinking super hero Hippogriff. Go big or go home ladies." She said with a grin. Because how awesome would that be?

"i think we have a great team building though. Janelle you're in Ravenclaw right? And Ava and I are Gryffindors. Best team ever!" She heard a familiar voice and looked to see Sabbie. She grinned. He was being joined by another boy. Good, if he was alone, Noelle would have pulled him in to help them.

Sophie was ABSOLUTELY minding her own business, sipping that hot chocolate of hers with complete innocence and grace when Dot was "psst"ing her AND accusing her of being a bad role model.

Naturally, Soph thought that was hilarious and laughed good-naturedly.

"S'not being a bad role model, s'called being resourceful. Quiggles taught me that spell to animate 'n control snow two years ago when I got into a snowball fight with him. S'cool, innit?" She'd started walking over to Dot to join her and their snowcreature-building endeavors when she cast a quick glance back at Myers to make sure he hadn't seen that it was her--


...To see that ZANDER was over there, and she ABSOLUTELY saw the group of them glance her way. HAD HE RATTED HER OUT? And he and Myers were being all buddy-buddy, which... probably... WAS NOT A GOOD THING.

Turning back to Dot, Soph scowled, her nose wrinkling, and murmured to her, "Zander's tryna start something. Think m'about to be pulled into a war. Might as well beat 'em to the punch. I'll join y'later, unless y'wanna join forces with me for some girl power."

Didn't matter either way because Soph had already turned around and very purposefully pointed her wand at the snow near Zander's feet and cast, "Excito animans!" The snow started to gather and build up atop her Head Boyfriend's feet, covering his ankles just like she'd done with Myers, but the snow wasn't stopping there. It was going to keep piling up until she'd made Zander's body into a snowman, if he didn't act quickly.

What? She was building a snowman, see? Totally following the rules.

"Oh, that's such a good idea," Dot grinned and bounced a bit on her heels, although that was over as quickly as it started when her boots hit ice under the snow and she slid a bit. No falling. Not today.

"So let's make little mini mascots, all four of them, and then we can dress them up further. It's pretty obvious to me what the snake should be." Dot dropped back down and began smooshing her snowballs into a cylinder shape. The snake would be the easiest to shape out of snow, even with a bit of an arch to it and a frilled collar around its head. Hiiiisssss.

Oh. Pretty obvious, right? "A princess snake. Just like we are."

Sophie's dilemma, the war she was being pulled into, wasn't really Dot's fight, and she settled for watching with detached interest. Like... she could choose not to war. Peace was the answer. Hmm? "We could help Sophie with a snowball fight instead. She might need us."

Sabbath looked up when he heard his name and saw the boy approaching him, “Hey, man” he replied. He recognised him as the kid who had been bitten by a teacup when he’d been over filching food from the Slytherin table. “Its Olly, isn’t it?” he queried, raising an eyebrow.

“Sure, I’ll help”, he said. He had his newly found mittens on, so why not. He pulled them on tighter and stepped up ready to sculpt some snow. “So, what did you have in mind?”, he said, as he started scraping together snow to form a base for the body. He wondered if this kid was going to be as retentive as some of the Ravenclaw kids he had to share a dorm with and plan every last detail. He did sometimes regret sweet-talking the sorting hat out of placing him Slytherin house.

He looked over and saw Nells and a bunch of girlfriends also busy making a snowman. He called out to her "Hey Nells, C'mon, girls team against boys team - Lets see who can make the best snowman? He goaded her, laughing.

He grinned at Olly, and raised his eyebrows, the challenge was on. He hoped he was with him.

Oh Yoongi, so much to learn. Zander noticed how absolutely shocked the younger Gryffindor looked when Myers wasn't raging. This kind of stuff happened at Hogwarts. Students and Professors could do this kind of stuff. Mess around with each other. It wasn't all that uncommon. But then again, when you're trapped inside of the same castle for 3/4 of the year, wouldn't you go insane with only just 'in class interactions'? Even Zander who didn't fancy hanging out with Professors knew that. Ah, Yoongi. Too innocent and sweet for this world.

Zander only chuckled at the response he got from the kid. "She wouldn't have done it if she wasn't looking for war, Yoongi." Sophie Brown always thought before she did. It was her plan. He KNEW it. And if it wasn't, well he was sure she'd enjoy it either way. For her own good, really. Zander was doing her a favor.

But anyways, Myers. "She DID." Well he didn't have proof, but it was definitely Sophie Brown. No one else could possibly be that cheeky, or genius for that matter. He did start rethinking the whole thing when Myers sounded like he was questioning it. "'Course I'll take the fall, Professor... As long as you keep me out of detention for it," nah. He wasn't going to back out.

"I'm thinking we get her with a few well aimed snowballs, sir-- Unless you've got any better ideas." He said, turning over to Yoongi. YEAH, YOONGI. YOU IN OR WHAT?



Except uh, Zander didn't really have time for the rest of it because "what the heck!??!" SNOW WAS PILING UP OVER HIS FEET NOW!!!

"Professor!! She's onto us!" Clearly. "SAVE YOURSELVES BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE," but also if someone could save him too, that'd be great. Because trying to shake off the snow was a failed effort at the moment. Especially because more and more kept piling up as he tried to get rid of it.

SOS THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF SNOWMAN BOTROS WAS TALKING ABOUT, probably.

Man. Maybe this was why he always chose to be on Sophie's team.

"Hi, Janelle. I'm Ava." The younger lioness introduced herself to Janelle. She listened to her and Noelle throwing out ideas to create the best and most epic snowman. Well, their ideas sounded great. Hipprogriff superhero? "Well, hippogriff has such a complicated shape... but the superhero one sounds great!" Ava said. "Unless if we can use our wand to create the hippogriff shape. Any of you guys can do it?" Like... transfiguring it or something else? Maybe she could ask Professor B to help them?

"But I know what we're gonna need for the superhero costume! We need cape, and cool mask and and.... PANTIES! Superhero loves to wear panties as their outerwear!" Were they provided all things that she mentioned at the trunk? They needed to check them.

And while they were thinking and brainstorming about the snowman idea, she heard a boy called out Noelle. Is that... Sabbath, right? And he challenged them to do a snowman competition? That sounded epic, but Ava offered them a better idea. "Why don't we have a snowball fight?" Then she grabbed some snow, made a ball-form and threw it to the boys. Hehehehe.

Watching the older girl begin to work on the snake for their house she picked up some snow and began molding it into a ball for one of the other house mascots heads. Which one she hadn't decided just yet. Hearing Dot speak again her eyes moved to look at the girl. A princess snake? Well alright then. Hady would've said that they were queens and not princesses but this was alright with her. "Sounds good to me," she agreed.

A snowball fight? The brunette shrugged her shoulders a little bit. "You can if you like. I'm going to work on these for awhile first though." She didn't mind if Dot wanted to go throw snow around with the others.

"Oliver, yeah." Not that he minded being called Olly really, he was used to it. But it was something not many people outside of his immediate family called him, and it sounded weird coming from one of his peers. But he supposed he didn't really mind either way.

He was about to start making plans for their snowman, glad that he was not all alone on that. But then the idea of a competition came up. He grinned at the other first year, impressed at the suggestion. Oliver was already ready for a competition. And he always won, because the Borzekowski-Thomas clan was not in the business of losing. Too bad Ellery wasn't there, even though they'd be competing against each other.

Wait, snowball fight? That sounded even better. Until a snowball hit him in the side of the head.

AHHHH. "HEY!" Olly yelled over to Ava, sending her a mock glare. "We hadn't started yet." But then he was over it, because Oliver was not one to whine. Instead, he would get revenge. "You are on!" He glanced over at Sabbath first, hoping the other boy was also prepared to fight. He seemed like he would be. They were so going to win. Oliver quickly grabbed a handful of snow and packed it together in the shape of a ball before aiming it back toward Ava and throwing.

Take that.

Oh? Had he just gotten an invitation for tea in his office? “Oh, uh… yeah..sure?” He knew that there were more natural ways to get rid of a cold as Hady had given him tea with honey as well but he was still sick. But he couldn’t exactly refuse a tea request right?

“I’m glad you agree with me Sir” he laughed which turned in to a cough as he watched the Professor already starting with the bottom half of the fat snowman. And about Norah, Yoongi shrugged his shoulders. “I met her once, during an Ancient Runes assignment and uh…I did ask if she wanted to be friends and..she said yes but we haven’t really seen each other after that..” hmmm…

Why was Zander looking at him like that?! This kind of behaviour had not been acceptable in Charms school. He remembered a classmate of his losing 15 demerit points out of her yearly 100 for pranking one of the teachers. So yeah, he was surprised and quite pleased that the Professor was good natured.

And once he heard that they weren’t going to get in to trouble, Yoongi grinned. “Of course I’m in” and laughed as Zander was suddenly turning in to a snowman. Spotting Sophie pointing her wand at her boyfriend and then at the Professor , he grinned at them both. He was so ready for this! ….after this sneeze! ACHOO! Ok ready! “What about we use the disillusionment charm on a few snowballs?” or was that mean?

"I know you loved being a real one though you were so reluctant to go for it at first,'' Adi teased as he started gathering snow. "I know it's because you didn't trust my Transfiguration skills.'' As subtly as he could, he gathered a handful of the powdery substance, pressing it into a ball. Then, without warning, he pelted the thing at his friend. Hehehe. What was winter without a little snowball fight?

"Alright. That sounds good to me.'' The Hufflepuff gathered more snow, then pausing to watch Benny get started on the middle or the body of their dragon. "I wanna do the tail,'' he piped up suddenly, grinning. Benny would get why he wanted to do that. Mhmmm.

He turned at the same time as Benny to see Polly. "Heya!'' He was pleased to see his friend even though he was looking to building this snow dragon with his bestie alone. But then Benny had a brainwave. "Yes! This sounds awesome! I can help both of you at the same time.'' Yessers! He could totally do that.

...A few well well-aimed snowballs seemed to be juuuust what Sophie Brown needed. Paul glanced at Yoongi. "We could...levitate snowballs, too. Charm them to repeatedly hit her--" he smirked. Maybe Paul Myers could secretly be EVIL?

MUAUAHAHHA?

"The disillusionment charm would be funny--because she wouldn't be able to SEE the snowballs--very interesting--" Paul felt his wand in his pocket. Hmmm. This was so SNEAKY. And FUN. Paul felt like a teenager again--he wanted to build a fort and have an all-out WAR with Miss Brown. SHE STARTED THIS! Paul was only....counter-attacking, all right?

GAAHHH! ZANDER! Paul waved his wand and pulled Zander out of the...the snow--WHAT WAS THE COUNTER SPELL FOR THIS? "Oh Miss Brown...this is indeed war." He whispered, smirking to himself. "Mr. Adair--Mr. Hyland--we're going to ambush her. Quickly now--roll some snowballs up--we'll charm them--we'll send them over--ALL AT ONCE."

HMPH!

Now they were a group of three. Janelle listened as Noelle described her vision. A superhero snow-hippogriff. Well that was different. "That would be awesome", Janelle replied. The idea made her think about the sand sculptures she used to see at the beach. People made pretty elaborate things with sand, maybe they could make it work with snow.

When Noelle designated them the best team ever, Janelle smiled. That earned the Gryffindor a high five.



"Nice to meet you Ava", Janelle said. They were going to be a great team........if they could agree on what to make. The ideas went from a hippogriff to a superhero with panties, a snowman competition and finally a snowball fight. Janelle's head went back and forth from Noelle to Ava and back to Noelle again. The Gryffindors were sure full of ideas. Janelle was just going to go with the flow. She was Switzerland.........neutral. Janelle just kept patting the base and smoothing out the rough spots. Yep, this was going to be fun........whatever they decided to do.

Super hero! Now... Just a super hero was pretty cool too but... Just one little addition.
"Okay if we make a super hero, it HAS to be a woman! " Because women didn't need men to be their super heroes. Her mum always told her that.

Noelle was bent packing in the base when she looked over to see the cape and mask. She giggled when Ava said it had to have underwear. "And now a bra since it's going to be a girl. " She should probably ask if everyone else was okay with that. "Janelle are you okay with--" She couldn't get it out the words when Ava was throwing snowballs.

"Oh it's so on!!" Noelle yelled and grabbed snow, making balls. She tossed a few in the directions of the boys. "Take that!!" She said with a wicked grin at Sabbie.

Girl ruled.

Boys drooled.

Sabbath's new wingman had been hit! Oh! It was on like Donkey Kong! Sabbath looked at Oliver and gave him the signal they were in this together. Lining up three snowballs, he hurled the first retaliatory shot at Ava. He looked at Oliver, "Maybe we should try making a barricade?"




Oh, that wicked grin! Uff! Nell's snowball hit him square in the chest. He pretend to take a fatal hit, hamming it up, clutching his chest and falling to his knees before cracking up laughing. He grabbed one of his ready made snowballs and flung it back in her direction, still laughing.

He picked up his last snowball it was destined for Nells other friend (Janelle).

An activity to make a snowman? BRING IT ON! Cosgrach was a pro on this, and his snowman would certainly be better than anyone else's. So, entering the igloo, he looked around with a biiiiig grin to see who would work with him whether they wanted or not.

A female superhero? Well, it sounded great.

But dunno if they kept the underwear on the trunk. And a BRA? HAHAHAHAHA!!!! Ava couldn't help but laugh out loud. A female superhero with cape, fancy mask, underpants and bra? Oh gosh, it's gonna be hilarious. "I'm afraid that nobody would volunteer to put their bra on this trunk." She dug into the trunk. Yup, no bra and panties here. Boo.

Okay, so the boys agreed about the snowball fight. The one that she'd thrown before hit the Slytherin boy, Oliver. She couldn't help but giggle, especially when he pouted that she's not being fair. Hey, it's a good way to start one right? Once he threw a snowball to revenge, Ava tried to avoid it but too late, it hit her shoulder. OKAY, SO THE WAR BEGINS NOW! "Noelle! We need to build a snow fort!" She suggested. And... Did Janelle want to join them too? Maybe she would since Sabbath threw one to her.
