Default Herbology Rules and Expectations

Classroom Rules:
  • Arrive to class on time.
  • Always bring a positive attitude! Having a bad day? Smiling will make it better!
  • Make sure to bring your gloves, your textbook, and your BRAIN!
  • Please be respectful and kind to your peers!
  • No complaining! The negativity ruins my groove.
  • Participate in the class and activities we do with your best effort!
  • Wear the appropriate uniform to class.
  • Water is allowed, but please, no food.
  • Do NOT under ANY circumstance PICK any of the plants without specific permission from Professor Myers. Plants are living BEINGS, not toys!
  • Most importantly....DO YOUR BEST and HAVE FUN!
  • I have an open door policy. Please see me about anything you want to talk about, if I'm someone you're comfortable with. I'd love to chat anytime.

Homework Instructions:
  • Homework is not required, but it is recommended if you would like to earn some extra points for your house!
  • You do not have to have attended the lesson in order to complete the homework.
  • All homework should be owl'd (PMed) to Professor Myers on the day it is due.
  • All homework should be titled accordingly in the subject line of the PM. (e.g. Herbology HW #1)
  • I will accept homework for full credit up until the time it is due. ANY homework submitted after due time will be counted for half credit.
  • Please include these at the top of all homework:
Username
Character name
House
Member ID number

Your Member ID Number can be found at the end of the URL to your profile page. If you look at the URL for my page (http://www.snitchseeker.com/members/kayquilz-168764/) you can see the member number is 168764

OOC Information:
  • Remember, IC and OOC is different. Professor Paul is not Kate Thank MERLIN and vice versa. Please do not take anything he may do IC as an OOC offense. <3 Neither of us bite, I promise.
  • IC offenses will be punished....IC, you guessed it! And OOC offenses will be handled in an OOC way, either by way of a warning or an infraction to you, the RPer.
  • If the lesson has already begun, and you have not arrived yet, don't think you can't join in! You totally still can! Pretend you have been there all along, no problem! Having your character come in late will result in point loss...or whatever other punishment Paul deems fit
  • NO plagiarism, please. Use your own words and ideas(or your characters! <3)
  • I am here to make the RP as enjoyable for all of you as possible. Please feel free to contact me, kayquilz, about ANYTHING, via PM.

Fun, Positive Rules:
In order to adhere to the spirit of the year, Professor Paul has come up with silly/positive rules to make students feel all warm and fuzzy!
  • As you enter the greenhouse, please say one nice thing about someone already in the room. (OOC: Try not to say something nice about someone who's already had something nice said about them! Spread the love!)
  • There is a basket of flowers at the front of the room. If, at any point, someone in class touches you spiritually or emotionally, please come get a flower and give it to that person as a token of appreciation for their being. Thanks.
