The Lions sit under a beautiful scarlet and gold banner representing their house. Their solid, shiny wooden table is nicely polished with all the place settings perfectly set. The food will arrive after the Headmaster's traditional feast speech. To all Gryffindors, both new and old: enjoy the feast!
She wanted to go off to the treehouse and just stay there until it was over. She still had packing to do. She was dreading it though. Every day closer meant one more hour, minute, second to being locked up and thrown away the key. Not to mention, she would miss her Sabbie.
Those two were inseperable. Best friends. Amigos. They saw each other everyday. Spent most of the day together. And now, in just a few short days, she would be packed on the train and sent off to the grounding of a lifetime.
Hence, the not feeling the /end/ of term feast.
Noelle slipped into an empty seat and forced herself to eat a bit. She needed to. She looked around at all the students looking sad and feelsy. She knew their pain, but not for the same reasons probably.
Sigh.
Sabbath had to speak with Noelle. He’d finally received the news he'd been expecting from home and he had something he needed to tell her before they all left for the holidays.
He entered the Great Hall intent on finding her. It was his first end of term feast, but he hardly noticed the decorations and raucous chatter as he scanned the sea of black robes and pointed hats for her beautiful smile.
Scooting along the Gryffindor table he spotted her further down looking a little forlorn. He frowned a little and circled around behind her. He wrapped his arms around her and gave her a squeeze. “Hey Nells!” He said, giving her his dimpled smile. "Is this seat taken?”
Zander and Adi... and anyone who wants to snag this little kiddo

Time flew so fast, didn't it?
It seemed like yesterday she walked into the great hall for the first time and being sorted to Gryffindor and now... her first term was over. Ava walked into the Gryffindor table with a gleeful smile because Gryffindor WINS THE HOUSE CUP! How cool is that? And the dueling too... Sigh, she was still unhappy that she couldn't win against the third year student but... She had fun with that.
But... that also means some people leaving to graduate, including her fake brother Adi and... Zander. Huft. She needed to stop at the Hufflepuff house table so she could give the Hufflepuff prefect a... WAIT, HE'S HERE!!! "ADIII!!!!" The young lioness waved at him. She stood up and walked toward him. "It's so sad that you're not gonna be here next term but... Happy graduation! Oh, and I have something for you." She gave him a chocolate frog. "Now gimme a hug, I know that you're gonna miss me."
Now to Zander... Gulp, she tried not to be silly and foolish with the giggling and blushing but still.... WHY??? "Hey.... Zander." She sheepishly greeted the Head Boy. "I uh... I have something for you..." She gave him the chocolate frog. "And uh.... Happy graduation for you..." Again, she couldn't handle the blushing. Ugh! Once she had given the things, Ava walked back to her seat and... dunno.

Noelle felt arms being around her more than usual. First from Cinna, who looked sooooo so sad. The girl was giving Noelle massive feels. She just wanted to hug the poo out of the girl and tell her they would always be friends.
Because they would be right??
Then, feeling another set of arms around her, she looked to see Sabbie there. Her face lit up because her favorite person was here. "Hey." She said giving him her own dimply smile. "Please sit!" Because obviously her favorite person was going to sit by her.
She heard nearly Headless Nick giving congratulations to the Gryffindors and she gave a slight smile. "We won the House Cup." Noelle said to Sabbie with a grin.

Benny sat down upon a bench to await whatever was to happen. The speech was nowhere near being said so there was no food as of yet and there still seemed to be a limited number of Gryffindors at the table. Or any students at their respective tables for that matter. He had briefly glanced at the badger table for sight of Adi but to no avail. Likely the boyfriend was being all super prefect and helping and celebrating with his housemates.
Except suddenly from his other side, the seat beside him was occupied. The familiar smell and voice making it clear who it was besides Adi using his name and taking his hand. "I hope so," he mused, answering the squeeze. The Gryffindor almost felt like leaning a shoulder against him but there was waaaay to many people around.
Some of which actually wanted his attention...including Zander who was making his own rounds. "Congrats to you too," Benny returned with a wave before the head boy moved on. He supposed keeping busy was one way to push past all the feels. Too bad he really didn't have anything to do but wait. Perhaps he should have come down later.
And then there was a professor. With a flower for him...and Adi. They had had many a herbology professor over their seven years, but this one certainly captured the kind yet weirdlly interesting factor. "Thank you Professor Myers," Benny said, the Gryffindor managing a smile to show he really appreciated the gesture and kind words. Over his shoulder he could spot a familiar lion sitting down...Angel.
He turned away just as Cinna strove to get his attention, well both of their attentions. He and Adi had seemingly become more of a matched set since they began dating. "Hey," he said, nodding at her remark. "Yeah...one last feast but sooo many other things ahead," the lion remarked seeing her frown trying to boaster them both up. The winners of the house cup couldn't be so down!
And then Cutty happened.
Down the table.
On top of Zander.
Except the booming voice of a certain Gryffindor ghost brought his attention back from THAT scene. "Good evening, Sir Nicholas!!" Gosh he was going to miss the dead man.
What the heck was Zander smiling like that for? He looked like the cat that ate the canary or something, but Sophie Brown would never let him eat a canary, right? Canaries were very nice and deserved very much not to be eaten. Everybody knew that. It was WEIRD, all the same, 'cause he just looked like he knew everything in the entire universe and to be frank it wasn't a look he had very often. But then Cutty came and SAT on him and the familiar face of confusion was back, and Norah forgot about the whole ordeal altogether because Yoongi was talking and Marsha had shown up too.
Marsha looked awfully sad. As she should, probably, considering all the cool folks who were leaving. The Hufflepuff couldn't think of anything particularly comforting to say, 'cause in reality it WAS horribly sad, so instead she stuck a hand in the pocket of her robes and fished out her very last chocolate frog. She'd had to do a lot of calculating (or tried to, anyways) so she'd have at least one left for the last day before she could stock up again on the train, and even though she'd planned to offer some to Yoongi she slid the box over to Marsha. "I know it's not much, but everything'll be okay. I pinky swear." She still remembered how sad it'd been when Marigold left, but chocolate frogs had helped a little that time too. Chocolate frogs were the real magic of Hogwarts, okay? Norah believed it 10000%.
She made a mental note to get up and hug the second year, because then Yoongi spoke up again and she turned her attention to him. "'Course you can ask me a question!" She beamed at him expectantly. Since when did you have to ask somebody if you could ask them a question? It seemed awfully redundant, considering 'can i ask you a question' was a question all by itself, and redundancy only really seemed necessary when she was nervous. He didn't have any reason to be nervous though, right? It was just Norah, who considered herself to be the least-scariest person in the entire universe. She considered it to be one of her greatest achievements.
All her back was pack and she was SO ready for her summer to begin! But first thing first. The end of term feast. With that thought, Candice made her way toward the Gryffindor table and as expected some of her housemate already there. Well, she was not. Nope. A Messer never late, everyone else was just early.
The Fifth Year choose an empty seat next to her fellow fifth year Gryffindor, Angel. At least she hoped its Angel not AJ. "Hey. Sup!" And looked the graduated Gryffindor already here too. "Congratulation on your graduation guys and girls." She said to Zander, Cinna, Larissa, Benny and Damien. She envied them. No Hogwarts for them next year, while she still has two more years here. She was not to surprise to see the Hufflepuff prefect here with his boyfriend. And since he was here in the Gryffindor table might as well congratulate him. "Congrats on your graduation, Adi." Not long after that, she saw Zander was being sat on by a Slytherin. She's not going to comment on that. Nope.
And Sir Nicolas had a perfect timing. "Hello, Sir Nicolas. How are you?" Congratulation? Oh. Yeah. They won the house cup this year.
What was that Ava? And was she blushing? BROWS!

Adi looked up at the Head Boy with a grin. “Hey, Zander! You too, man.” He watched the other boy go over to a younger Lion. Yep, they had indeed made it. All seven years… they had made it. He looked around to see Musical Myers approaching them. The man looked as though he were bursting with emotions. Poor Myers. And a flower! Adi liked and appreciated the gesture. And the kind words… “Thank you, Professor!’’ He accepted the flower. “Thanks for your lessons and letting me play my guitar for you at the start of the term.’’ Myers was one of the Professors he would miss the most. Scanning the table again, he noticed his co-prefect Norah. She got a cheery wave and grin as did Cinna. “Don’t remind us,’’ Adi said to her, in a slightly depressed tone because all the sad feelings were trying to get the better of him. “I want to start all over from first year.’’
Adi hadn’t seen Ava until she practically yelled his name. He grinned again, super happy to see her. “Yeah, it is but thank you! And I’ll miss you but we’ll owl each other, right? Plus I’ll see you during Hogsmeade weekends.’’ Yep! There was no way her could fall out of touch with her or Teddy. Awh! A Froggie! “Thanks!’’ He slipped it into his pocket then scooped the little sister into a biiiiiiiiiiig hug. “A lot. I’ll miss you a lot.’’
“Hi, Candy- Candice!’’ HEHEHE. Adi had almost called her Candy Cane. “Thank you! It’s been fun, you know. The seven years as well as teasing you.’’ He eyed her innocently. She might dislike Hufflepuffs so it was always fun to tease her and watch her try to prove she was cooler.
Adi prodded Benny lightly in his side. “It will be because I said so,’’ he said with a slight laugh. “Look at it this way. We’ll be one step closer to having those dragons and hippogriffs and our own house.’’ Yep! This hufflepuff was looking at things in that manner. Things looked pretty exciting that way. Scanning their surroundings, he checked to see if anyone had their attention focused on them before quickly raising his hand in which Benny’s was held to kiss the Lion’s. He wouldn’t care if anyone saw but his boyfriend was a shy one. This meant he would be going red, yeah? Cue Adi watching Benny for that colouring.

Today was one of Ellery's quiet days, apparently. There were probably a lot of different reasons, none of which Olly could necessarily explain even though he could feel all of them to an extent. He grinned and nudged her with his elbow. "You're seeing me right now." But he knew what she meant. He was definitely looking forward to be right next door to Ellery and not in the dungeons while she was in Gryffindor tower. He still had not forgiven the sorting hat for that. But at least he didn't hold a grudge against Flamsteed for not letting him switch houses. That was probably something only the hat could do anyway.
Olly spotted a newcomer to the Gryffindor table. It was Noelle! She got a big grin and a wave, but he paused for a moment when she actually sat down. Huh. He nudged her with his foot from across the table. "You okay?" She looked sad. It did make sense to be sad on this day, the last day, but he was still a bit concerned.
But then Sabbath joined the Gryffindor table as well, and some of Olly's worries went away. Noelle's best friend should be able to cheer her up. Which was good by itself, but doubly good because it meant Olly did not have to worry about trying to cheer her up. Olly smiled at the Ravenclaw. "Hey."
So much was happening at the table, as usual, but it was a damn blessing tonight, it made Damien have to stay alert and get out of his heavy head. Merlin, he was going to miss this. The feast was a disaster in the best of ways, people talking on top of each other, Sir Nicholas calling out a congratulations. "How's it going, Sir Nick?"
Chaos.
Total and Utter, and Damien was very glad he hadn't got up and left earlier like he almost had. He smiled warmly at Cinna. It was funny, the two of them had never been inseparable, and after last year things had been a bit strained, but he would still miss her very much. "Yeah, can you believe it?" He said with a laugh. Damien certainly couldn't, but maybe that was because a part of him didn't want to.
Damien glanced up at the slightly wrinkled face of Professor Paul Myers,a man Damien was fonder of than he'd thought he'd be, but that happened when someone came rushing to your rescue... Even if the rescue was unneeded, which he was still not stoked about, BTW. "Oh, uh... Thanks." Damien said, accepting the flower and sillily tucking it behind his ear in a gesture of good graces. He laughed, there was a bit of pinking to his ears, but he was still laughing. Who knew Myers could take the mick? "I.... definitely learned that, Professor."
Well... He wasn't surprised by the sentiment, but it didn't go unappreciated... Still. He didn't think he liked the guy.
And then Cutty and Zander Got all up on each other (okay, it was one sided, Damien could see that, but we digress) and Damien wanted to explode with laughter. Without a second thought, he leaned in to watch the two boys as one canoodled the other, resting his chin on his fist, Damien's lips split into a warm, amused smile.
"I should have voted for you two for best couple." Damien teased.
All her back was pack and she was SO ready for her summer to begin! But first thing first. The end of term feast. With that thought, Candice made her way toward the Gryffindor table and as expected some of her housemate already there. Well, she was not. Nope. A Messer never late, everyone else was just early.

What was that Ava? And was she blushing? BROWS!
Colt decided he wanted to go visit the lions table to see Candice before the summer was going to begin. He began to look up and down the table and he spotted her immediately. He crept up behind her well tip toed actually and tried to scare her and went, "BOO!" and then he sat down and smirked. "Happy end of term Candice. Thought I might see you before we part ways this summer." He saw there was a lot of Gryffindors here. This must be the popular house but he was content in Slytherin. "You got any plans this summer?" he asked.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
.......Ok so ....what on earth was that Slytherin doing sitting on top of Zander? Cutty was his name right? Yoongi stared at them with a raised eyebrow for a second when he saw a box with a single chocolate frog in front of him being shoved towards Marsha. He looked at the younger Gryffindor, wondering if she would accept it. That was very nice of Norah, he thought.
Turning his body a little bit so that he was facing the Hufflepuff Prefect better, Yoongi poured in some more water in the goblet as he thought of how to ask this.
Looking at the expectant expression on Norah's face, Yoongi nodded his head once to give himself more courage. "Do you want to do something over the summer?" as in a date...but somehow he couldn't say that word. "Like, see a movie or...meet up in diagon alley to shop together or....something?" he cleared his throat and drank the water quickly. How did people even ask each other out?!
Perking up was not a thing she could do at the moment, especially when one of her favorite people slipped into a seat across from her. ONE OF THE PEOPLE WHO WAS LEAVING!! Without Zander and Uncle Sabel she was going to be LOST next term. Granted she had known Sabel was leaving for some time, it didn't make it easier. Nope. NOPE. SO MUCH NOPE!!
Looking at Zander she sighed. "You're leaving." Simply put, yeah? Mhm. "I don't want you to." SELFISH, NO? Whatever, she was good with being selfish.
AND THEN THAT HAPPENED!! Dora gave the other guy the STINK EYE as he basically sat ON her Papa Bear. Rude! "Hey! You KNOW you saw him. That's just plain RUDE!" Hmph!

He may have taken longer than usual in the shower, so he was later than usual.. whoops?
Entering into the hall, Zeke stole away to the Gryffindor table and snagged himself a free spot along the bench. He was ready for the holidays now. Not in the sense that the school term had been too much, in many ways, it wasn't enough. But no, he had plans for the summer, and so it was THOSE that he was looking forward to. Perhaps first and foremost, he was dying to see Ashley and Avery again, they needed to hear a play-by-play of his duels to truly be able to appreciate the status he'd earned.
For now though, he was attempting to develop an understanding of what was going on around them - conversations, seemed to be the general 'summers' talks. Pouring himself a juice, Zeke drank deeply, all the while drumming his fingers on the table.
“Hey, Oliver”, Sabbath smiled and replied to Oliver while climbing into the bench seat beside Noelle, trying not to bump his knees. He sat, grinning at her enthusiasm over Gryffindor’s house cup win, “You sure did” he replied with a smile. He couldn’t help thinking it was little wonder Ravenclaw didn’t win considering the pitiful number of house points he’d accrued, not to mention the ones, he’d lost.
There was a lull in the conversation, catching his breath he looked at Noelle, “Nells, I have something I need to tell you. You know how I’ve always said family is the most important thing to me and you’ve seen how I always make it a priority to put family matters before all else. You know that for me, helping out my family is even more important that me being here. And… well, as you’ve seen, I’ve been training really hard in flamenco all term and its why I’ve been missing so many classes. Thats because my family have been preparing a new show, and I’ve been busy learning that, because my family are going to travel again, they are taking the show to the road”. He paused and shrugged, there was no other way to break it to her…
“Nells… I’m going with them. We are leaving the week after I get home from Hogwarts”.

Noelle felt her foot nudged as she sat there before Sabbie had gotten there. Moving back she looked to see which foot had nudged since there were a ton of students feet down there. She followed the legs up and peered across the table at Oliver. She gave him a half hearted smile. That was good enough right?
"Hey Oliver." Noelle said and saw the look he was giving her. She was fine really.... Just going home was not on her list of favorite things to do at this moment. She was going to explain that to him when Sabbie said hey to him. She offered him another smile before Sabbie was telling her he needed to talk to her.
Sabbie got her undivided attention now.
Noelle turned her body to him slightly and looked at the little things. Like his movements and his composure. She watched his facial expressions too as he talked and told her he would be leaving with his family on a flamenco tour.
Heartracing...
Noelle's face fell for a moment. The smile he had brought to her, was now taken away. He had finished talking but she was still watching him. Waiting for something... She wasn't sure what but... something.
"Youre leaving? ..... " Okay Noelle, you got that much, keep going. "like... For good? Like... " Noelle took a breath and looked at anyone but him. she turned slightly away from him and looked down at the table. "You won't see me anymore?" her Bestfriend. Her favorite person. Because of his whole family was going so that meant... They wouldn't be around?
Noelle sniffled and tried putting a smile on her face. "Well this end of term feast has a lot of endings huh...?" She said in a whisper and took a shaky breath. "Well, I'm happy that you are going on tour. It'll be great. You'll have lots of fun! And maybe you'll get an even bigger deal." She wasn't sure how all that worked but, it was good if they got more noticed?
Her mind went to other things but she forced them away. She put on a brave face for him because she should be happy for her best friend. She looked at him briefly, a smile plastered on her face. "Im happy for you."

Cinna was off in her own little world again. She seem to have been doing that a lot tonight the smallest of things were distracting her. The seventh year looked around when she heard another congrats looking to see who said it she seen The fifth year Candice. "Thank you, Candice." She gave her a smile. "Ready to be a sixth year yet?"

Then there was Damien. She returned to the smile and shook her head, no. "It went by too soon." It really did but now they were off to bigger and better things. Things had been different with the two of then since year. And some comments she said a few weeks ago didn't help and she knew it. So.... they should talk about things, last term things. It was long over due.
So standing up she moved over and sat beside him. "Hey. I want to talk to you about last term." She took a deep breath. She really didn't want to think about last term right now. But this was not a thing that she wanted to find him on the train and have this talk. So now was the time.
SPOILER!!: Yep they are a package deal now

Well wasn't they just adorable. She could totally say that right? It seem like they were having the same mixed emotions about this as she did. Actually she thought that all the seventh years were. She was, but she wasn't going to admit it.
"We shouldn't be sad though. We're moving on too bigger and better things so we should enjoy our last night here." Which was exactly what she was going to do. She'd leave the boys alone now so they could have some time together. She was going to go find Kaycee again.

He nodded and patted his shoulder a bit before moving towards Cinnamon Bayless.
"Ah, Cinna--" he smiled and handed her a flower. "May your zeal and your sense of humor carry you on through your journey, making it more enjoyable for you!" he nodded at her and...well.
Before his feels could get the best of him, PAUL WAS OUT OF HERE. AGAIN.
Aww.
Professor Meyers. You were not allow to mess with her feelings. She had already decided that there would be no crying tonight. It wasn't going to happen. Yet.
She took the flower and smiled. How thoughtful. And what he said was sweet. Hehe. "Thank you, professor Meyers. And thank you for a nice year of Herbology." Beaming at him.
It had been wonderful.
SPOILER!!: l to the freaking ol Zander and Cutty xD

Leading with his backside, of course.
Once he'd swung his long legs into the seat he turned to face Adair. A look of perfectly replicated surprise washed over the boy's dark features. "Oh...Ey, Zander. I didn't see yer there." He said casually.
Yes, you did, Cutty Mordaunt! YES. YOU. DID. >__<

Who was running over from table to table. Zander just chuckled to himself. What a man.
Kind of disappointing that he only got a year of Myer’s. Zander had actually grown kind of fond of the guy…. Sort of.
Then there was Damien Anderson-Longname. Zander simply gave a small nod in his direction, knowing quite well that they’d have the chance to bro out tonight in the dorms. Speaking of which, Zander still had to pack. Maybe Damien could help? Or maybe they could just spend the night staying up and laughing about stupid things that didn’t really matter. Hopefully the latter. Zander didn’t want to sleep tonight. He wanted to soak everything in for the last time. Hopefully Benny wouldn’t mind.
As others came in, Zander smiled. Taking note of all the familiar faces. Man, it’d be so different not seeing these same people everyday. It was surreal.
Though, one thing did catch his attention. And that one thing was a Hufflepuff. Uh, Norah did know her table was over there right? Zander curiously let his eyes follow her as she made her way to a seat near— Oh. AHA! He had seen that one coming. Of course. Seeing her thumbs up, Zander just gave her a knowing grin, making sure to nod over at Yoongi too. Ah yeah. Sixth years, HE SEES YOU. HE SEEEEEES YOU. Ahem. Interesting match up though. All Botros’s doing, probably.
Again he turned his head, hearing a familiar voice approach from behind. Cinnamon Bayless. One of his first few friends here. ”Yeah, we did.” he smiled. Man. Yet another person he’d miss. This wasn’t fun. They promised fun. WHERE WAS THE FUN???
Speaking of fun.
Um.
He was being sat on.
By Cutty Mordaunt, no less.
How is it that every time Cutty was around, Zander seemed to be ten times more uncomfortable than normal. "Uh," blink. The Gryffindor's own face perfectly mirrored that surprise that the Slytherin wore on his. See this is where Zander forgot how to communicate momentarily. Because how the heck does one go around addressing this situation? Um. "Cutty?" uh. "What brings you to the Gryffindor table?" And also to Zander's lap?
And Meyers had poofed.
She had the inkling to go to the staff table again. Later, Cinna later. Maybe she would go write in the memory book. NOT. Haha. Laterrrrr. Like putting things off would make this night end later. Wait she did want this night to end. Ummm kind of.
Anyway pushing those thoughts over ending or not a side she turned back to Zander to ask him a question. "Are you going to Uni and what are you going to study.......there?" Then there was a Cutty
... in Zander's lap.
Well.........
Hey Cutty. On some level this affection that he was giving the head boy didn't surprise her. It was quite the entertainment of the night. Or so far. "Hey Cutty. Geez to much PDA here. Go find a empty broom closet." She chuckled. Hmmmm.

He did indeed!
The seventh year or graduate or whatever she was now must have been daydreaming or something but she didn't realize that sir Nicholas had popped up right in front of her. Okay, maybe she did because she jumped a bit.
Nodding to the ghost. "Yes. I do believe so. Gryffindor have ended up on top again." You had to admit that the Gryffindors had a good thing going. Mostly because she was there. Or that was why she wanted to think they were four out of her five years here the house cup champs.

"Hey, Noelle. So was your first term at Hogwarts what you expected?" She asked with a small smile. She was going to miss the first year. She enjoyed spending time with her and helping her out with potions. Even when her (almost) messed up her potion in the process. Next Noelle would be able to help out a first year who needed help. Maybe.

She looked at around the great hall. She was not going to cry tonight. She was not going to cry at all.
Kaycee was a mess. She had no idea how she'd survive this school without Cinna. And now, the time had come for her pseudo big sis to graduate.
FEELS.
They were happening.
She gave Cinna a tight hug back. As soon as she pulled away she wiped her eyes. Ugh. Apparently tears were happening tonight. Awesome. She knew they would, but assumed they would happen in private. But nope. Stupid feels.

Angel saw Benny was sat down and gave him a small smile, she was about to see if she could see Puck to congratulate her on graduating when suddenly she saw the Gryffindor House ghost. "Hello, Sir Nicolas. I hope that you are well today?" Angel smiled and then she was suddenly being spoken too by someone who had sat down next too her.
"Candice." Angel smiled as she turned to face her friend, she hadn't spoken to her fellow fifth year for what felt like an eternity. "How have you been? And what are your plans over the summer?" Angel thought she might as well ask, maybe they could arrange to meet up over the summer and hang out.
"Oh, yeah." Was Cutty's casual reply to Zander as he dismounted the blonde's lap. "Tweren't noothin', booht if yer should ever need a reference don't be afraid to ask. Yew did great! I'd be happy ter give yer one." Truth! And hair ruffling. Cause apparently although far from a gentleman, Cutty preferred blondes.
Cutty turned toward the direction of the smooth and articulate accent. The American. Damien Anderson-Belfort. "Yeah. Yew shoulda. Booht, it's a good thing yer didn't. Zandy's quite shy about it all. We didn't want ter tell anyone about tuss til the end." He said quite naturally as if every word were true. Poor Zander Adair.
"That's what train rides home are for, Bayless. I swear, it's like Bart taught yer noothin'." Really. She should know better. Being Bart's right hand witch 'n all.
And then there was a tiny Gryff female saying...something...? Awww. Did someone have a wittle crushy-wushy on Zander-pop. Apparently, he had fangirls. And one of them was chihuahua in residence, Dora Umbridge. Cutty snorted and said, "Yeah." That was it.
In turning his attention toward Nick of the nearly headless variety, Cutty missed the look given him by Yoongi Hyland. And with that an opportunity to fail!flirt with his favourite. Congratulations! Right! The battle went to the lions this year.
Was…Cutty sitting ON Zander? Puck’s eyebrow twitched as she stepped closer to the table. “Cutty Mordaunt, you are one sly dog.” The edges of her lips were twitching as she strained to keep a straight face. “Zander…I can’t believe you…what would Sophie think?” she was trying so hard not to laugh because obviously Sophie would see how awkward Zander was and know.
When she heard Cinna’s comment about broom closets she just smirked. “Nah, I think boat house are more fitting” she grinned “I mean who would expect to find someone there?” She did turn to give Cutty a grin at the comment about boathouses.
“I’m going to miss you guys” she sniffled but quickly schooled her face into being the normal beacon of smirkocity. "anyone have fun plans over summer?"

Again Zander spotted some more familiar faces, making sure to smile at each one as they passed... Trying not to look like he was dying on the inside, which he was. Seeing Marsha make her way over, the Gryffindor offered her a smile and a nod. And he knew quite well that both Yoongi and Norah knew why they were getting those smiles sent their way. Ah, young love.
SPOILER!!: Sir Nicholas!

Ah, Zander had been wondering when the ghost would arrive. Of course this meant yet another person he'd have to say goodbye to... But the ghost's enthusiastic presence did help with the feels."Sir Nicholas!" he grinned, almost like the first year he had once been. "Almost feels like red and gold are permanent decoration for this place, huh?"
As it should be. "You've got to make sure Gryffindor keeps this up next term for me. I'd hate to see this place decked out in any other colors." No offense Sophie Brown, but the Great Hall in blue would be a crime.
SPOILER!!: sweet Ava

Once she had given the things, Ava walked back to her seat and... dunno.
Zander wasn't actually surprised to see this first year make her way over. Zander would truly miss Ava a lot, even though the girl was always acting so strange. Maybe it was a phase or something? Who really knew? "Hey, Ava," he smiled warmly, trying to make her feel comfortable. Maybe she just had a hard time speaking to older students or something? They could be very intimidating, Zander would know.
"You got this for me?!" Wow. First Paige and now Ava? It's like it was Christmas or something with all these gifts. Zander was touched. And very smiley about it too. "Did you know chocolate frogs are my favorites?" The cards mostly, but the frogs too. "Thanks, Ava," he grinned. "Write me next year, yeah? I wanna hear all about second year adventures." Man. He'd miss the firsties. Never thought he'd say that.
SPOILER!!: Candice

And since he was here in the Gryffindor table might as well congratulate him. "Congrats on your graduation, Adi." Not long after that, she saw Zander was being sat on by a Slytherin. She's not going to comment on that. Nope.
He was getting loads of congratulations for graduating... But was it really something to congratulate? Getting kicked out of school and having to face the real world? Um. Not in Zander's eyes. "Thanks, Candice," he smiled nevertheless. But also uh, he didn't really know what to think of this girl. One minute sour. The other sweet. Merlin. "Good luck next year," he grinned. "Keep everyone in line for me," heh.

Uh. Awkward.
Zander really was happy for Cinna with all the uni stuff, but uni wasn't for everyone. And by everyone... He really just meant uni wasn't for him. At least not for now. "Erm... Actually I'm not going to uni," he said mussing his hair. "I applied for a few internships though, so I'll be plenty busy... Just wanted some more hands on experience first, y'know?"
That and he couldn't stand to sit in a classroom for any longer.

Zander did not like seeing Dora this upset. Man. Why did he even care so much? Sweet Merlin. He needed to stop befriending first years. They broke him every time. "Yeah well, I won't be gone forever," he was leaving. She had a point. But was that really why she was upset? It kind of reminded him of when Lottie left. Yeah, that was a pretty terrible feeling too. "We can write each other while you're still in school. And I can even come down to Hogsmeade if you want?" That's what Lottie had promised. And it helped him feel loads better. Maybe the same would work with Dora?
He didn't want to leave her either though. He had grown fond of the little trouble-maker. "I'll miss you loads though," he nodded solemnly.
Also. The fact that she was getting defensive over the fact that Cutty DID see Zander there... It was great. He smiled. She was great. A little tiger.

"You're a good friend, Cutty. Did you know that?" Because most people would say otherwise. But that was all awfully nice of him. See, Cutty was great. Even though he was totally terrifying 400% of the time. Ahem.
The hair ruffling was a bit much though.
And yes Cutty HAD BEEN SITTING ON HIS LAP AND IT WAS WEIRD. But did EVERYONE have to stare????? If anything it just made Zander feel even WEIRDER. He almost chocked hearing Damien's comment, let alone hearing what Cutty had to say in response. "Oi, that's not--"
And then Cinna happened.
And Zander wad dying, essentially.
And to top it all off, here came Puck with her two sickles on the matter.
Oh geez. Talk about blown out of proportion.
After a few more moments of being incredibly uncomfortable and a complete awkward turtle, the Gryffindor widened his eyes and shook his head. "Wait no, no. Sophie Brown and I are endgame." Sophie would NOT think anything, Puck.
The good news was, no one was occupying Zander's lap anymore.
Order had been restored. Amen.

Yoongi Hyland say WHAT? Norah opened her mouth to reply with a resounding 'DUH' before shutting it again and watching him drink his water with a level of enthusiasm she reserved for winning races and finding flowers. For the split second after he'd asked the question, the answer had seemed pretty obvious. Yoongi was her friend, of course she wanted to see him over the summer. That's what friends did, right? Or something? She hadn't done much of it before, but surely her brothers wouldn't mind sharing her with Yoongi for a little bit. She'd make them not mind.
But then he was chugging water like he'd never encountered it before and she was actually thinking through what he'd said (apparently she was capable of doing that once in a while) and it wasn't sounding awfully similar to all those DATES with a capital EVERYTHING she'd only heard about from pretty much everybody ever. Everybody else went on those but she never went on those, and she wasn't entirely sure if Yoongi went on those but all of a sudden imagining him going on those was terribly unpleasant and could only be reconciled if she got to be there too. The thought didn't even feel that new, but she couldn't pinpoint a time where she'd ever thought of it before so instead of thinking back to all the times she'd thought about him (it wasn't her fault, okay?) she tried to think of what to say. "Uh." So far all she'd done was stare at him with a little smile that grew and grew until her mouth opened altogether and the words "Sounds like your best idea yet. It's a date," came out. Oops? Immediately questioning all the assumptions she'd made, she widened her eyes slightly and willed her cheeks not to go red as she added, "Right?" RIGHT? If she was wrong, she'd have to move to Antarctica to live with the penguins 'cause she'd never live it down. And if she was right she'd still have to move to Antarctica with the penguins 'cause even prefect training hadn't taught her what to do on a DATE. Jeez louise. You'd think it'd be part of the curriculum considering Soph and Zander were in charge, since they might as well have been celebrating their 57th anniversary. That had to count as false advertisement.
She hesitated some more, suddenly very interested in the surface of the table, before looking sideways at him again. "Me? Are you sure you mean me?"
If Zander Adair didn't wipe that grin off his face she'd have to go over and sit on him too.
BOOMBAYAH! | #PuedoPorquePiensoQuePuedo | Certified Blank and Random Person | Raventastic
Of course that she's gonna owl Adi, maybe everyday or.... every week. Hehehe. Hopefully he wouldn't mind but... hey, he would never mind if she owl him too often, okay? "I will, but every time you're gonna reply my owl you must send me chocolate or lollipops." Or she's gonna stop owling the Puff boy again. Hehehe. "I want to see you play gobstones for a league, send me your match ticket sometime and then I'll be there, maybe with Zhenny too." And Teddy.
The young lioness hugged him back. Ah, so sad to realize that he's not gonna comeback here next term. "Why you have to be sooooo tall???!!" Or maybe why she had to be soooo little. But she's gonna grow taller soon since next month she's gonna turn twelve in a month. Oh, speaking of being twelve. "My birthday is next month, so you'd better send me a gift or we're not friends anymore."
..............
Zander Adair said what???
Ava tried not to look very excited when the Head Boy mentioned that chocolate frog was his favorite. SHE GOT HIM HIS FAVORITE THINGS!! "Well uh... I don't really know but... Everybody loves chocolate, right?" She said to him why she got him chocolate frogs. "I uh... I also want to say thank you for... helping me on my first potion class and... working together for charms homework. You're very nice Head Boy..." Again with the blushing, ugh! She could feel the warmth of her cheeks and pretty sure that they both are redder than fresh tomato.
Write to him next term??
"YES, DEFINITELY!!" She couldn't help with the excitement so her voice was slightly... high-pitched or something, oops. But but... ZANDER ADAIR WANTS HER TO WRITE FOR HIM!! SHE WAS SOOOO EXCITED!
Ehm... again, he made her blushing. And apparently Candice noticed it since the older lioness arched her brows at her. Ava smiled sheepishly at her, didn't really want to tell anything about that. She's just gonna keep it in her heart.

OH! So she was not wrong. Its Angel not AJ. How's she? "I'm good. I'm SO glad that its finally over!" There's nothing major happened this year except OWLs but still she's still glad that summer was finally here. "And how you've been?" Angel looked so much better than during the opening feast so she must be feeling better now. She hoped so, because Candice Messer was not with comforting people. What are her plans for the summer? She had no idea. "Probably go back to Denmark." Since her father still lives there. "You?"
Candy? Did Adi almost called her Candy? BROW. Didn't she already told him that NOT to call her that? But nice save, Adi. She's going to forgive him this one because he was graduating and all. And she was not going to see him again next term. The joy! She only need to deal with Nicolei but she could handle that guy. "Yeah well, I wish I could say the same." And where was the food? She's hungry.
Candice turned her attention to the other graduate, Cinna. Was she ready to be a sixth year? "Definitely. I can't wait to leave Hogwarts." Two more years and then goodbye Hogwarts. "So, what are you going to do after Hogwarts? Going to Uni?" Or doing other stuffs?
Why did she get a feeling that Zander Adair was not really happy leaving school? "Anytime." She could act nice too you know. Once in a blue moon. "Thanks." She might need it. Keep everyone in line for him? "Why would I? Its not my job. Its the next Prefect job." Not hers.
And she's not going to say anything to Ava about her little crush on the Head Boy.
Candice was still eying Ava when someone decided that its okay to scare a hungry Lioness. "COLT! You almost give me a heart attack." Didn't he know that its rude to sneak up on people? "That's SO nice of you to see me and scare me at the same time." Roll eyes. "Aside from go back to Denmark for a few days? Nope. You?"
Water. She need water. Or something to drink. Then her eyes landed on the juice near Zeke. "Zeke, do you mind passing me the juice?" The boy looked like he was busy drumming his fingers on the table, hopefully he heard her.

It happened, just like she knew it would. Janelle was making her rounds at the feast, when her eyes were drawn to the Staff Table. In the midst of her sad goodbye mood, she had seen Professor Flamsteed in his Starship Enterprise get up. And to top things off, he had Pebbles.
Talk about a mood swing. Janelle went from sad to hysterical laughter like a car going from zero to sixty in two seconds. It was all Zeke's fault. She knew his little Flamsteed impression would come back to haunt her. Trying very hard to regain her composure, Janelle headed to the Gryffindor table, in search of Zeke.
Spotting Zeke nearby, Janelle plopped down on the bench next to him. "It happened. I lost it. I thought I'd be good at least until next term.". Turning to the older boy, she pointed in the direction of the head table. "Did you see what Professor Flamsteed has on? And Pebbles....". The laughter was threatening to reappear. "At least he didn't jump on the table.......yet." Janelle would never be able to un-see Zeke as Flamsteed. "If you have any suggestions for that cover story, now would be a good time."
