| | |  Gobstones Championship Match: Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff
 The building used for the Gobstones matches had had its doors open against the late April morning warmth. Its surfaces magically dusted by Professor Tanner and Mr. Kitridge, the school's Gobstones sponsors and made ready for the term's championship match.
The green and yellow marbles were set out and the playing 'field' had been marked. Chairs were set out on each side of the arena creating a Viewing Area for those not playing to watch.
OOC: Remember only members sorted into Slytherin and Hufflepuff Houses can post in this thread, it is not a chat thread and there is no rping.
Read the Gobstones Rule book before playing and if you did last term, please check again for potential updates and changes.

The Hufflepuff Prefect was clearly having none of that losing business; nor did he likely appreciate a face full of gob. The same two shooters stepped up once more, but the outcome reverted back to the Prefect's favor this time. His stone ricocheted off an obstacle and came to rest a finger's breadth from the goal, leaving the green stone no chance. "Points to Hufflepuff!" Tiara exclaimed.

Leo exchanged a glance with Tiara before he took over advising the match again. The match was getting very uneven at this point. Hufflepuff had a strong lead. Adi remained on for the badgers and Oliver stepped out on the court for the snakes. For the snakes sake Leo hoped he had brought with him some luck. The two boys swung their shooters and watch their marbles roll off around the first obstacle neck and neck. The green marble lost pace first and stopped leaning up against an obstacle. The yellow surpassed its opponent for the points.

The yellow marbles rounded a few obstacles before it lost all speed and stopped sprouting out a big gush of smelly gob in the air that showered everyone in the smelly and icky substance. The green marble meanwhile surpassed its opponent and 4 more obstacles to win the point.

The last encounter between Slytherin and Hufflepuff was concluded by the facing off between Lynch and Rehman. Both players did their best in this last turn with their shooting. The yellow marble raced towards the goal and was the first to touch the Jack Stone, causing Mr Kitridge to start applauding a little too enthusiastically-- not because Hufflepuff had gotten the last point of the match, but because it was finally over and they would all go back to their headquarters to eat some well deserved food.
"Hufflepuff wins the Gobstones Championship!" He announced, clapping lightly, "Great game Slytherin, you were fantastic as well. Thank you everyone for watching and taking time out of your leisure time to enjoy this championship match today. Today's player of the match is Aditya Rehman , thank you for your dedication to the game." He flashed Adi a big smile. "Off you go to your common rooms for celebrating with your housemates or even studying for your impending exams." Leo ushered everyone out, out, out.
