Kate nodded at Sabbath then finished dicing the onions. UGH. She hated raw onions. They smelled bad, tasted bad, and they made her eyes pour water. She grabbed a nearby napkin and wiped a few tears from her eyes. "Okay, all done," she told Sabbath. She assumed he would know what to do with them...

Oh, apparently he needed HER to do the next step with the onions. "Okay, sure," she said, wiping her eyes again. "Anything to get them not so raw. They're killing me eyes." She laughed and looked at him through tear-filled eyes. Kate set to work completing all the steps Sabbath asked her to do. Pretty soon, she was finished with her part, and it looked like the other two were wrapping things up, too.

Awesome!

Kate turned toward Tanner when she asked them a question. "It's a dish Sabbath's grandma knows how to make," she said. Sabbath, too. "It looks pretty good!" Too bad she was basically stuffed and might not be able to even taste it.

Sabbath had already made their little identification card, so it looked like they were all done!

Rooney Bronwyn was such a sweetheart. She had been watching, and she knew that he was responsible for most of their dish, but he seemed determined to make sure Sophie got the credit. Bless his heart. "Well, I do not really know about this 'just' business, this looks like quite an accomplishment! And eat some I will!" Tiara scooped generous portions of all of it onto the plate she had picked up. Cutting up some of the chicken, she then managed to get a bite with all of the elements. "Yes, this dish is a definite success. Well done, Team Brownwyn!" Their names meshed together quite well.


Impressive, Sabbath was. She had no memory for recipes herself, but apparently that was not a universal issue. "I concur, Miss Addison. It looks delicious!" And scooping some up, she said, "Don't mind if I do!"

How was it possible that all of her students were better chefs than she was herself?! "I wonder if Sabbath would be willing to share his family recipe with me?" she mused aloud.

Rooney smiled as big as possible and nudged his partner with his hip, before giving Miss Sophie Brown (of Hogwarts) THE biggest cuddle in the world, and THEN leaping over the food and wrapping his arms tight around Professor Tanner. "Not too seasoned or lemony or herby or chickeny? " She could tell him if so. He wouldn't cry, be offended or even argue her point. He was already SO sure that he had gotten something wrong with this because he had decided everything as they went along.

Brownwyn was his favourite word now, though.

Wow, this kid was loveable. He definitely had the Badger hugging thing going on, but she didn't have a problem with that, personally. Tiara merely returned the favor. "First of all, no. But second of all, I'm not sure how chicken could possibly be too chickeny!" She burst into laughter, appreciating Rooney's kind heart.

Well, it looked like things were wrapping up here. "Okay everyone! Feel free to keep eating, we'll take care of the cleaning. Thanks for coming, and Mister Kitridge and I hope you enjoyed yourselves, maybe even got to know someone better!" In her opinion, the activity had been a delicious success.

Rooney smiled softly and nodded. "I'm glad you liked it, Professor Tanner. And I'm really excited to be back at Hogwarts." If she hadn't already realised that by his eagerness to throw himself into things, his intense love for Miss Sophie Brown and by the hugging and trying to impress everyone with everything.

She was right though. This chicken was good.

Roo smiled again, gave Miss Sophie Brown a hug also and moved to look at other peoples foods and try them before he went to do some reading before bed.
