Moxley had arrived early to set up for her Hufflepuffs. So helpful, she was. After speaking with Botros, the two had come up with a suitable punishment-though she would've been happy with the whole taking their hands away for a while. Lucky for them, the Headmaster was a bit gentler in his approach and in the end, the Moxinator had agreed on the current plan. So here she was, surrounded by large mulitcolored balloons floating throughout the room. They were at eye-level and filled with who-knew-what, but the odd mixture of smells permeating the air promised whatever was inside of them wasn't something to smile about.

Hands now tucked into her pockets, the muggle studies professor waited for the others to arrive so they could get started. This was going to be fun. Well, for her, at least.

Adi followed Botros and Henric into the slimey walled room. UGH! Was that a rat he saw scuttling there somewhere along the wall behind Moxley. MOXLEY! Oh no! He wanted to disappear again. She was going to speak to him and Henric in that same disappointed tone, wasn't she? "Hi, Professor,'' he said but his dark eyes not exactly meeting her usually cheery face.

Thank the Hippogriffs that there were balloons to distract him. And was that odor? The seventh year wrinkled his nose, wondering what on earth they were going to have to do that involved balloons.

His mind was racing. He had no idea what they were going to do as they walked further down into the dungeons. Henric jumped when a rat scurried past them. He almost cursed out loud but stopped himself quickly. No need for him to stay any more longer in this vermin infested place. It seemed Profesor Moxley would be taking them for the duration of their time here. The muggle studies professor apparently had been busy setting up their torture punishment chamber. Woah...so many balloons!! Bloody hell...what is this smell?!! He glanced over at Adi and wondered if he could smell it too. Urgh...it smelt something rotted in here. "Evening, professor..." he greeted solemnly after the prefect as well.

Botros waited for the two Hufflepuffs to enter the room before he tapped the door with his cane causing it to swing closed. He had arranged what they were going to do with those two tonight. And every night until they realized what a foolish situation they'd put themselves in. To think that a Prefect would know not to-- not to-- uhm. Botros' eyebrows knitted together for a moment, blinking and looking at professor Moxley. What was it that the students did again?

Oh yeah! Fighting with their fists. Completely unaccepted. Mhmm. He went to stand next to their head of house.

"Boys." Moxley nodded to both of the Hufflepuffs and then turned her attention to Botros who...looked a bit confused, actually. Her eyes stayed on him for a moment longer than necessary and then she greeted him, too. "Hello, Headmaster." He remembered what they'd discussed, yes? Speaking of...

"Since using your fists instead of your words is what landed you here, we decided to let you do just that, use your fists to get you out. Your task is simple. You'll both take turns punching the balloons around the room in hopes of popping them. To complete your detention, you'll need to have popped ten balloons in total." Sounded simple enough, yes? Maybe not. "I assure you these balloons are not so easily harmed and once we're done here, you might think twice about punching something or someone again."

Pause.

"Alright, your time starts now. You may begin."

The two of you will take turns posting. Your charrie may only punch one balloon per post. Laila and I will be monitoring and after a set of posts from the both of you, one of us will post the outcome of the punches (whether the balloons have popped or not). The boys should notice that the balloons are filled with various substances as they move through the room, though they won't know what until said balloons are popped successfully. Adi finally decided to decided it was safe to look at Moxley so he did just that. Just in time to see her eyeing Botros funnily. What? Had he missed something? He shrugged mentally, really just wanting to get this detention over with. He stupid action from earlier was costing him time to study and hanging out with his friends, Benny especially.

He listened without a word to the instructions, nodding when Moxley was done. ''Pop ten balloons in total with our fists. Got it, Professors.'' Adi looked over to Henric. Ready, Henny? This shouldn't take too long. But one thing was bothering him... that odor. It seemed to be coming from the balloons. Did his professors stuff some nasty gob or something in them? Ugh! As if he didn't get enough gob splashed on him during Gobstone matches.

Adi slid closer to a green balloon, raised his left fist and pulled it back. He then let it fly, punching the balloon squarely in the middle. he expected it to pop instantly but all he got was the balloon rebounding from his clenched fist and hitting him on the face.

Karmaaaaa, Adi.

He grunted then removed his glasses. Good thing his specs hadn't fallen off when the balloon hit... not that 'Reparo' couldn't fix it though.

Silly balloon. The Hufflepuff punched it again. Had he popped it this time?

Popping ten balloons with their fist?! This was supposed to teach them not to punch people? He groaned mentally inside. Why couldn't they just do normal detentions for once? Made them do a 500 words reflection journal or write lines instead. "Urgh...this stinks." quite literally, actually. The putrid smell radiated from the balloons were getting stronger everytime he moved a step closer. Henric had to refrain himself from covering his nose, already wishing he could turn off his sense of smell right about now. He hoped to finish their task early so they could go back to their dormitories in time to finish up his assignment that was due tomorrow. Henric stretched his arms and loosened his shoulder muscles. Well...here goes nothing...

Pulling back his arm, Henric gave the red balloon a good punch. However it rebounded back at him. What the...it didn't pop?!

One more time then. He gave it another shot right in the middle!

While the prefect's attempts at popping the green balloon went unrewarded, his housemate's second punch hit the red balloon with just enough force to pop it. A cause for victory, yes? Ooooor not. You see, when the red balloon popped, it sent a surprising amount of swamp water into the air. As it rained down, the smell of rotten vegetation filled the air and no doubt clung to the boys' clothing and hair.

"Oh, he got it!" Moxley squeaked as she stood safely behind a shield where her and Botros watched the pungent water rain down. Gross.

"That's one down, boys! Nine to go." And many more surprises in store, of course.

UGH! He had failed that first balloon!

Adi looked over at Henric to see how he was faring. He still didn’t see why his friend had to be here. It was as though the younger badger had thrown the punch. He shrugged mentally again then focused his attention on another balloon, a pink one this time. But before he could so much as raise his fist, Henric’s attempt to pop a balloon was successful and the next thing Adi knew was that he was being showered with nasty, smelly water. IN HIS HAIR, TOO!

He hurriedly shook his head furiously to get the water out. “Gross,’’ he muttered. When this was over he was taking a LOOOOOOONG bath in the prefects’ bathroom. Yuck, yuck, yuck. At least now they knew what was in the balloons... and they had one down. Running his hand through his hair, he looked back at the pink balloon.

Imagining it was a cricket ball being bowled his way, he swung really hard at it with his fist as though his entire arm were the bat. There was the dull thudding sound of flesh connecting with the squishy thing.

Take THAT, balloon.

And yeah, he was mindful of it rebounding on him. Not going to let that happen again. Nope.

The red balloon POP! Woohooo! Oh wait.

SPLASH!!

Both of the Hufflepuff boys were drenched in swamp water all over their clothes and hair! OH MERLIN! HIS HAIR!....T_______T.....

What did his hair ever done to you, dear professors? Why couldn't they leave it alone? His precious baby now ruined thanks to the swampy mess! It would take hours...HOURS..to get it back to its perfect original state. Unless of course, he had his wand back...then it would take less an hour at most he would spend in the bathroom so he could get rid of the rotten awful smell off from his body. Yuck...Henric didn't like this at all..nope! What would his llia think of him if she saw him like this? Nooo....

"Adi, I need to borrow your hair conditioners after this. " He whispered to his buddy. The prefect owed him atleast after enduring the pain he sent towards him back at that treehouse. He asked because he was out of hair conditioners. Urgh...what worst possible day he could have when they had punishments such as this.

Henric had to continue punching/popping some more balloons? What's next? Troll's boogers? He frowned. A little reluctant to pop another. But they needed to get nine more in order to end their misery. Why...oh why...he had to start a fight with Adi.

He rolled up his wet sleeves now, slowly accepting his fate. Henric closed in to a purple balloon at the side. They wanted them to pop the balloon, fine...he could show them anger bursting out of his soul too as he raised his fist up in the air before letting it swing towards the purple balloon. Take that!

No doubt Henric would be feeling the same as him. Adi couldn't help but give a hearty chuckle at the other Hufflepuff's suggestion. "I'll lend you it all, Henny, and if we run out of any, I'll owl home for mom to send me some more." Yeah! That sounded like a plan. His hair needed a good wash as well as he himself. Those perfumed bubbles in the prefects' bathroom should do it.

Adi now stood in front of a purple balloon. Another thought had occurred to him. Could there be more than just icky water in there? Uh oh. But he had to get this over with so here went nothing. PUNCH! Come onnn! Burst! He and Henric could deal with whatever nastiness was in there.

The pink balloon was punched without a pop which was sure to grind the badger's gears. Lucky for him, his housemate's anger seemed to spark better results. The first purple balloon burst on impact, sending a sea of egg yolks into the air. That wasn't it for the show, oh no. The prefect's purple balloon added to the display, sending a spectacular amount of goo skyward. Now yellow and green filled the scene, covering the Hufflepuffs and the floor. Bit slippery, boys. Best watch your step. 7 balloons to go.

"Thanks man!"he grinned, giving him a thumbs up.

Oh no! Not the eggs! Soon they were bombarded with egg yolks all over their whole bodies. "WHAT KIND OF DETENTION IS THIS??!" Why would they think it was fine throwing and wasting all of these precious eggs? Hmm? Nope. Not cool at all. Henric didn't believe in wasting food. It was never in his nature. Urgh..how many cupcakes he could make if they could have atleast save some of them! Wait...oh no! NO ADI!

SPLAT.

The green gooey substance smacked right into his face. BLEGGHH....

Henric wiped his face using his hands."Ewww....what is this...." He wished he had his wand right now! Scourgify spell would do the trick.

Oh merlin! He was going to fall! Arghh! Henric slipped and fell onto his butt. Ow. That hurt. How long did they have to do this? He crawled towards one of the blue balloons and tried to stand up but failed.

"Adi, help me up, will you?" He reached up for the prefect's hand.

GAH! Why was he not getting any balloons popped? Was it because he didn't have the anger in him anymore and in turn didn't give him enough motivation? What was Henric's secret to getting the rubber things popped?

But both Badgers had a better luck this time around. Perhaps the colour purple was lucky for them. Anyway, it had the desired effect... both balloons popped and Adi threw his arms over his head. MUST PROTECT HIS GLORIOUS HAIR! He could feel the yucky things falling on his arms. Looking down on the floor as the things rained down, he could see egg yolks and goo. EGG YOLKS? Why were they wasting food? Merlin! When Henric saw this... the waste of something that could be edible and edible stuff alike bugged his buddy.

Satisfied that no more yucky stuff were raining down, Adi patted his hair. Yep, safe and sound. And look! A maroon balloon. PUNCH! He forgot about throwing his hands up to his head again because he heard Henric calling him. Oh, hahaha! "What are you doing down there, Henny? The balloons are up here.'' Laughing softly, he gingerly stepped towards his friend. Slipping and sliding, he got to him, offering his dominant hand to help. "Up you get.'' HEAVEEE! Oh yeah... "Did you know you've got goo on your face?'' Hehe.

What did Adi think he was doing? Rolling his eyes and let himself fell onto his back, he suddenly made a "snowangel" on the floor full of slimy eggs and goo,"Oh I'm just you know...making snow angels...without the snow...and thinking about life." He replied innocently. Care to join him, brother? By this time, he didn't care much about his hair or his clothes. They were already ruined anyway. His self-esteem had been tarnished repeatedly and it would take him days...DAYS to recover!

He let Adi helped him up before patting him on the shoulders. He 'accidentally' smeared goo on the side of buddy's cheek."Oops...sorry, mate. You got some on you too!" mwahahaa

"Let's get this thing over fast, man. I don't feel comfortable...if you know what I mean."he muttered, making a face. His pants felt soggy and sticky. Urgh....not a good feeling at all.

Henric used his fist again to punch the blue balloon and hopefully it pop!

Great Hippogriffs! Was Henric drunk on the pungent fumes? It certainly seemed so. Adi, hand on his knees, doubled up with laughter. "That's some gross looking angels, Henny. Gosh, I think you'll need a thousand bottles of my conditioner. I'd better send an owl to mom the moment we get out of here.'' And... ''Yeah, you think of life and the pain you've caused Ilia.''

After heaving Henric up, he grinned and was about to say something but his face quickly got caught with goo. Hehe. "You did that on purpose! Too bad I don't have my wand to levitate you.'' Adi smirked, wiping his cheek with his sleeve. "Yeah, I hear you. We're a team here.'' He turned to go find another balloon but then stopped. "Henny? I'm sorry for punching you.'' There was another sincere apology.

But balloon time now! The elder Hufflepuff smacked at an orange one with his left hand. Come on! Pop already! He was just about ready to get out of here.

To say the Moxinator was enjoying this little show would be an understatement. Hosting detention was awesome! How come she'd never thrown students into it before? Perhaps she should reevaluate her easy-going nature, hm? Merlin knew she was already formulating other fun punishments in her head as she watched the badger boys slip and slide and soak up all that gross goo.

The maroon balloon was next in line and the prefect's punch popped it with ease, sending fish oil up and onto the head of the older badger. Probably going to take a while to rid yourself of that smell, kid. Henric's blue balloon was tougher to tear and held tight, preventing any further mess but keeping the Hufflepuff's count at a standstill. And that slap at the orange balloon? That didn't earn the badgers any headway. Best stop the laughing and start the popping or they'd be here all day.

"You've still got six to go, boys. I don't mind hanging here but surely you've got better things to do."

Botros thought he'd need a book on him waiting on the Hufflepuffs tonight. He was wrong. They were very entertaining to watch. Of course, the message behind the detention should be clear for both of them, but there was no rule that a detention shouldn't be a pleasant experience for the jailers holders. He stood next to professor Moxley with his hands on his cane.

Honestly, he never thought a happy professor such as herself would deliver such a stern attitude. Consider him impressed. She was doing better than he ever would with Hufflepuffs in this awful place. "Maybe we should've gotten the--uhh--" He knitted his eyebrows once again, a little confused... and unable to remember what they had been talking about before they came over here?? UHh. The...uhhh....

Darn it! Henric had distracted him and he had gotten some sort of liquid sprayed on his PRECIOUS HAIR! BLEEEH! Adi shook his head furiously yet again, trying to get it off. What the heck was that rank smell? "Fish!'' he muttered to himself. Yeah, that's what it smelt like. Gosh, he was going to need to take a year's worth of showering when he was done here.

What was that Moxley was saying? Six more to go? Man! This seemed like it was a never ending detention. Drat these balloons and their difficulty to pop! And yes... Adi had better stuff to be doing so he didn't have all afternoon here either. He found another rubber thing- a black one this time.

Back went his fist as he worked to have the balloon popped, giving it a smart punch. Cue him raising his hands to protect his hair again.

Henric stopped and smiled a little. "Its fine man...all is forgiven, thanks for being there for llia..when I wasn't able to. You're great, man...you know that right. So don't beat yourself over it anymore, okay?"

What the...? FISH OIL!!! Nooo~~ Adi got the worst of it though, his poor hair...But looking at his friend's expression got him stifling his laughter from coming out of his mouth.

"Make it 1500 more bottles,Adi...we're going to need a lot of them,"Henric chuckled. Sorry...he couldn't help it. Haha! This was kind of fun when he thought about it. Whhaat...6 more to go??!

They needed to really pick up their pace if they want to get out of there.. Easier said than done, it was getting harder and harder each time. He also had to balance himself from slipping again. Henric chose a yellow balloon next and tried to hit as hard as he could.

Any amusement Moxley was enjoying was put on hold when the headmaster seemed to forget himself again. Her own brow furrowed a bit and she gave him a kind smile, urging him on. Should've gotten the...?" Camera? That's what she would've said. These would make excellent yearbook snapshots, just saying.

Considering how covered in all things gooey the boys were, it was no wonder they were finding it more difficult to pop the balloons. Luckily for them, the next two hits seemed to be just powerful enough to produce the desired effect. The black balloon released a bunch of baby food into the air, while the yellow balloon added mustard to the mix. That meant four more balloons to go, though the smell in the room was enough to make eyes water and stomachs turn. Hopefully the badgers would finish before anyone got sick.

Adi grinned. "Thank the hippogrifffs you're so forgiving. And it was nothing; I couldn't leave her alone.'' Not in a million years could he ever abandon a friend. Pause. "And yes, I am great.'' Hehe. His head was swelling again, guys.

Oh Merlin! Henric WAS right! They'd need fifteen hundred bottles to get their ridiculous odors off themselves. Since he had shielded himself earlier, most of the...what was that? Baby food???... landed on his arms. The mustard wasn't so bad though. MMMM. Yum! Excuse him while he licked this bit from his fingers...

Alright. Two more balloons down so this meant they had four more to go! AWESOME! Adi began to trudge over to a silver balloon only to slip on an egg yolk. "WOOOOAH!'' Flailing, he all but managed to save his balance and landed with a mighty THUD! on his butt like Henric earlier. "Uhh, my tail bone,'' he groaned. It took him a minute or so to gather himself but he managed to pull himself up eventually.

The Puff winced. GOSH, THAT HURT! But he had a job to do. He limped his way over to the silver balloon carefully, raising his hand and pulling it back. PUNNNNCH! Come on! Be number seven that went down!

When Adi managed to pop the black balloon and Henric with the yellow next, they were immediately hit with more edible food stuff. This time they were pelted with baby food and mustard!! If the chamber hadn't smell any more bad, trust him...it was getting worst now. But Henric wasn't too affected by the smell. His past prevent him from thinking that.

Henric saw Adi just licked mustard on his arm."Merlin, did you just eat that?!" he cried in disbelief. Yo...you will get a stomachache, bro! He felt like throwing up now. Blegh...baby food was went he drew the line. Nope..nopeeee~~

Uh-oh! Adi slipped and fell! "Hey man, you're alright?" Feeling concerned for his friend. They were too far apart for him to help him up and it was dangerous to move, fearing he could hit his head if he wasn't careful with his steps.

Seeing that his buddy was alright, he sighed with relief. "Careful Adi!" He turned towards the professors, "Professors, what if we fall and hit our heads?"he asked. Safety first right?

Henric chose an orange balloon next and threw another punch.

Whoopsie-daisy. Moxley stifled a laugh. She probably shouldn't be enjoying this so much but a bruised bottom wasn't anything the badger couldn't handle. Besides, the healer was around just in case.

"You both weren't so concerned with heads getting damaged during that little scene in the tree house, am I right?" Just a little something to think on. She paused, then added, "I suggest slow but deliberate movements. You got this." Just a few more to go, too.

The silver balloon came back towards the prefect and bounced off his head with a gentle thud, whatever was floating around inside sloshing a bit as it did. Unfortunately, no popping occured, but they would be thankful for that had they known what the silver one was filled with. The orange balloon was more easily broken, popping loudly and sending a rather large amount of maple syrup into the air. As if on cue, a blue balloon nearby popped as well, whether because of the close proximity to the orange balloon or something else, who could tell? That one added an assortment of feathers to the mix falling down on the two boys. Looked like a couple of owls instead of badgers now, did they know?
