Welcome to the Dueling Club.
Designed for witches and wizards of all ages and backgrounds, the Dueling Club will take place throughout the school semester to challenge and develop the most basic, and most advanced, tactics in magical combat. The club is open to all years, houses and Professors.
The goal of the dueling club is to equip and empower wizards and witches with the skills, tools and knowledge for facing dangerous and potentially lethal situations beyond the walls of Hogwarts. As such, the Dueling Club will utilize a variety of magic and combat techniques which are not for the faint of heart or weary, through formal meetings and a dueling tournament.
By this standard, each club participant
MUST complete and sign (or have signed) the below waver. All participants must familiarize themselves with the rules and ettiqute of the club.
All forms
MUST be in by the beginning of the first meeting of the Club on November 13 (IC). Any interested party who has not submitted their forms by this time will not be allowed to participate in the Tournament aspect of the dueling club. Practice time and formal meetings will be allowed to those who have late submissions.
All questions, inquiries and concerns should be forwarded to Professor Dakest, who will be heading the meetings and referring the tournaments.

OOC: Anyone who wants to be signed up for the tournament MUST post a copy of the completed form (see below) in the Dueling Club Rules and Ettiqute thread, and all duelers MUST read that thread thoroughly. (Please do not post the forms in this current thread). The first meeting will be on September 28, and all permission forms MUST be submitted by then.
If you do post your forms there by the date, please understand that you will be signed up for duels in the tournament, and therefore are expected to participate in the duels assigned (extenuating circumstances will of course be taken into consideration). If you don't, you are still welcome to participate in the dueling club, except for the tournament.
Any questions should be directed to myself (Tazenhani) or MagicalSoul. All duelers MUST read and agree to the below BEFORE participating in the dueling club.
