Left... right... left... right...

Marietta sat right in the middle of the doorway, watching the pendulum swing back and forth. And as the pendulum moved, so did Marietta's eyes. Her eyes were wide and followed the swinging and her mouth was slightly ajar. She could feel her eyes tiring from staring at it but since this was a magic school, maybe the pendulum would hypnotize her and tell her something strange about the school or ask her to cluck while pretending to be a penguin.

Who knew? It was a magic school full of magic people and it even had a tree that hit people. So the chances of the pendulum telling her something was pretty high... especially since it had some weird symbols on it.

And so, she continued to follow the swinging with her eyes. Left... right... left... right... do not blink... left... right.

Noelle was on her own adventure. To find every nook and cranny in this place. She wanted to find every secret passage, every magical loop, every thing that was beyond amazing. She would find it too. She had started walking and her little legs were taking her wherever they wanted to go.

Noelle looked around as she came to the third floor. Her eyes became big when she saw the clock tower. NO WAY. Clock tower found. Mum had told her stories of her friends always playing around here. She was utterly happy to have found it.

Noelle spotted a girl sitting n front of it. She noticed her eyes were following it. Shrugging, she joined the girl. Her eyes started following it too. After a few moments she had to ask. "What are we doing?" She whispered to the girl beside her.

Marietta had still been following the pendulum and didn't notice a girl sitting next to her. Had she noticed, perhaps she wouldn't have let out a shout the way she did. "AHHH!" Marietta exclaimed, her head immediately turning to look at the girl besides her. Mari's brown eyes were wide open as she stared at the girl.

"FAIRY POOP! When did you get here?" Mari asked.

Her heart was racing. Her mum and dad had not warned her about people sneaking up on her like that. Nope. Never. But then noticing how what she had said might've been rude, Marietta's face turned slightly pink before she cleared her throat. "I meant hi."

There. All fixed.

Ahhhhhh!!!

The girl was yelling at her! Noelle's eyes widened and she looked at the girl, clutching her chest. She was too young to have a heart attack! Blinking, she was not expecting what came out of the girls mouth next. Noelle snickered.

"You said fairy poop." Noelle told the girl and giggled. Fairy poop. Ha! "Ive been here for a few moments before you almost yelled my ear off." Another giggle. "Hi.. Again, what are we looking at?" Noelle asked the girl again.

Her eyes returned to where they had been looking moments ago.

Marietta hadn't meant to yell at Noelle and was about to feel miserable before she heard Noelle laughing. A smile crossed her face and she was giggling along with her. "Yes I did." What was wrong with saying fairy poop though? Adults said much nastier things than that. Besides... fairies were small so... y'know. Proportions and stuff.

"We're trying to hypnotize ourselves with the swinging thing," Marietta said pointing at the swinging pendulum. "I think she's going to tell us all her secrets when we're in a trance."

Fairy poop.... heh. Noelle was going to start saying that.

Noelle's eyes went back to the pendulum. She was going to watch this thing and make sure she got hypnotized because she wanted to know all the secrets except...

"But.... if we are hypnotized, how we remember it when we come out of ou trance?" Because that was important. She wanted to remember all the things. She liked knowing things. Knowing all the things.

'Will we remember all the things after we come out of our trance?" Noelle asked and looked over at her. "Or, you could get hypnotized and i can record the whole thing!" then they could BOTH know!
