Of course there was a mirror there. Adi made use of it to check that his hair was sufficiently flat and that his clothing was all neat. "Looking handsome, young man,'' he said to his reflection and making the sign of the horns to himself.

Right! He was ready to see the Transfiguration lady!

The Puffer flitted over to the woman's office door to tap on it. Knock! Knock! KNOCK! And nope, no sitting for this Puffer. He was too anxious to get an answer to his question. He would just stand here bouncing on the soles of his feet, okay?

The knock on her office door forced Sophia out of her seat and away from her lesson planning. She was sure..no she was almost positive that it was a student and for their sake she was hoping that they had a good reason for interrupting her work flow.

Opening the door, her eyes made four with the hufflepuff standing there.

"Mr.Rehman..how may I be of assistance to you?"

No need for a long wait for Bellaire opened her door soon after the know. "Professor!'' Adi said happily. Gosh, he was so happy and energetic right now that he wanted to give the woman a HUG O__O What, what, WHAT? Would she approve? Who cared? He gave her a fleeting hug before stepping back.

"Hello, Professor! It's great to see you again.'' Oh! Right! His reason for being here. Good golly, he knew he might be asking much buuuut since he wasn't the best at Transfiguration... "I was wondering if you can possibly give me a few practical lessons on human transfiguration,'' the prefect said, crossing his fingers behind his back. "Also, I'm interested in becoming an Animagus.''

THERE! He said it. Now all he could so is wait... and think positively. PLEASEEEE say you'll help, Professah!

Sophia thought that after the whole no hugging thing with one of her younger students a couple of terms back, students had learned that there was not to be any hugging between students and staff. That was just extremely....weird..strange..odd...not to be done.

She fixed the boy with a stern look.

"That sort of behaviour will not be tolerated Mr. Rehman." No no no she tsked at him and wagged her finger.

"Before you embark of the intricacies of human transfiguration Mr. Rehman, you'll need to have mastered the basics. Many have asked and few have passed." She raised an eyebrow at him.

"It depends on how you during class lessons. If you do well and show some interest then we can talk about human transfiguration."

Of course. No hugs for the Transfiguration lady. Adi knew that she would not approve but he just had so MUCH energy to share. Hehe. And there was Bellaire now tsk- tasking him. "Sorry, Professor. Couldn't help it.'' He could be impulsive like that but here was a nice cheerful grin for you, Professaaah!

Masterd the basics? "Well, that makes sense,'' Adi agreed. "But I think I've got most of that covered...'' He eyed Bellaire hopefully. "I know I can do it, Professor!'' Show some interest as well? Adi thought he had quite a lot of interest... he was here asking for the lady to help him after all. "Can I ask you what you think about my transfiguration skills? And where do I need to put more work into?'' Seeeee? Even more interest right there! Hehe.

He wasn't making a strong case for himself since he just admitted that he has zero self control. Human transfiguration was definitely not something to take lightly. She frowned slightly at the boy and folded her arms.

"Well the first step is learning some self control."

Oh really? He thought he had the basics covered? She would be the judge of that, thank you very much Mr. Rehman.

"I think I'll let you decide if you're ready or not for human transfiguration." There was a devilish little smirk on her lips. "You will meet me in the Irie room tomorrow evening for a little test...if you pass..I'll teach you how to become an animagus."

Self control? Adi swallowed as the woman frowned at him. Sometimes self control was in his grasp, sometimes it was not. "I can manage self control, Professor,'' he said confidently and automatically stopped shifting from foot to foot.

"Of course, Professor.'' Did the smirk make him uneasy? A little but he then brightened up, a grin spreading across his face. Yaaay! Bellaire had at least agreed to give him a chance to work for what he wanted instead of turning him down completely! "I'll be there tomorrow evening. Bye, Professor! Thanks for seeing me.''

WOOT! He was NOT going to wreck his chance!

It was weird, going to a Professor's seating area to rap on the door and wait outside like a student. But he couldn't just well barge in, now could he? And randomly running into the woman? Well, that would surely be a feat in and of itself.

Stepping back from the door, Sabel side-eyed himself in the mirror. Jeans and a regular t-shirt with a simple cargo jacket. No robes, no formal attire. Hopefully it wouldn't ear him a door in the face. He'd heard the woman was rather stringent on etiquette, but hopefully not so stringent.

The folded paper in his inner pocket felt heavy against his chest, its contents weighing on his mind as he ran through the lines and words captured in a mental image.

Cutty pulled up to the outside of the Transfiguration Professor's office. His cologne, a sort of musky white amber with a faint overlay of buttered bread probably announced his presence before he came into view. He let the edges of his robes flap in the small gust kicked up by his long legs as he took quick strides toward the waiting area.

"Oi, down in fron..." The Slytherin began rudely seeing only the back of the mirror-hog's head before pulling up enough to see that the face in the mirror indeed belonged to Professor Dakest. "I mean, aren'tchyer lookin' handsome today, Professor Dakest." Yes. That was what he meant.

There weren't many students who unnerved him. Worried him greatly, yes, but not in an unsettling way. More a hand-to-forehead-and-drag-down sort of way. Reminded him of himself when he was their age. Funny that.

The one student he could say caused some unease, was the one that had a rather awkward way of greeting. Sabel turned halfway, arching an eyebrow at the boy. "Thank you, Mr. Mordaunt."

Was he supposed to say something in return, to compliment the kid's appearance? Deciding that was what the mirror was for, and what the kid really wanted given his original greeting, Sabel stepped back and to the side.

Cutty couldn't tell if he'd impressed Professor Dakest or not, but Cutty wasn't going with the assumption that he had for no good reason other than he himself thought he was pretty good at complimenting. He didn't do it too often, though. So few things impressed him. And he sort of thought it a little too transparent and best left to the Sophie Brown's of the world, whom he admired greatly for her plant-like manner of climbing up one's leg or sleeve and then puncturing into the skin of her selected target to assure herself a secured and constant source of nourishment. He wouldn't have otherwise shown her the patronus charm taught to him by alternate sources if he didn't admire her.

"Yer welcome." He said with a smile. Cutty was about to ask about using the mirror, but the Defense Professor moved aside before he could say anything. "We've got to look our best when asking fer a bit toff Professor Bellaire's time. Otherwise she won't be very impressed with yew. Us, I should say. It goes fer all of us." He grimaced into the mirror to check his teeth and used his index finger to remove a fleck of what looked like pepper. "Once, soom kid was eatin' and had his tie lookin' a right mess, and Professor Bellaire had ter physically remove him from class." She was dead serious. Did Professor Dakest know?

"I appreciated yer class, by the way. The one where we lehrned the Patronus charm." He'd moved on from his teeth to start adjusting his hair. "D'yer know that it had been more than 7 years since we'd lehrned it in skewel? Professor Romanos liked to teach us less conventional methods of defense." Which Cutty liked. There was nothing like the road less traveled. It kept things unpredictable for the understimulated hellion.

"Soo,...", began the 6th year snake stepping away from the mirror and taking a seat. "Did yer have any plans ter start up a Dueling Club this year? Hopefully, yer stayin' on."

As he listened to Mordaunt's explanation of the purpose of the mirror, Sabel rested his shoulder against the wall and folded his arms. He couldn't keep the quirk of his eyebrow in check, and watched the kid with a mixture of bemusement and disbelief. "Kicked out...for eating or for his tie?"

He had heard the woman could be....particular about things, but that just seemed a little bit excessive. Kids would be kids. Wasn't like they could be expected to look in tip-top condition all the time. But that led right back to the mirror. Perhaps, all around, it was a mute point.

His silent musing was halted abruptly by Mordaunt's next line of thought. For a moment, he just blinked at the boy, truly surprised. He was glad the kid was preoccupied with the mirror and his own reflection. "I...had heard it'd been a while. Glad it was well recieved in timing, at least." If not in emotions or any other manner of recieving.

Staying where he was, Sabel shrugged his shoulders a little uncomfortably. "Not sure about this year. Some ... things have come up." Prophet things. Missing pets things. Cobwebs and the like. As per usual, it was a strange year at Hogwarts. "But looking into next year." A nod. As far as he knew he was staying on. He hoped he was staying on.

"When was the last time a dueling club was instilled at Hogwarts?" No patronus for seven years. How long for other things?
