Centered among the shops of Hogsmeade is a well enough known pub in the small village, called The Three Broomsticks. Not unlike the Hog's Head down the street in the strictest idea of pubs, drinks and the like, however it is the atmosphere that helps make the latter choice the one hailed by the mass majority. The outside of the building is a good preview of what the inside may look like with the same steep roof as the surrounding buildings, yet taller, with a sign on it's facade featuring, you guessed it, the legendary three boomsticks, all fixed around a lantern to light the patrons' way.
Once you enter the pub, smells and the warmth of the large stone fireplace great you as you place hats and coats by the door. Directly infront of you there are tables and booths lining the majority of the small hall with oil lamps placed on each one. On winter days it is usually hard to find a place beside the large fire grate but if you're early enough, only Merlin can say what will happen. To your left the bar and most likely the bartender Harold "Hops" Lagerty, await you and your order--a few stools await you to take a load off and shoot the breeze with others.
The bartender is pretty sociable to those who don't annoy him. He's seen his lot of warlocks, goblins, and Hogwarts kids to know which ones were trouble and which of those made loyal customers, so be sure not to be put on the first part of the list.
A few rules from the Shop Owner: No brawling, no shouting (angrily), no alcohol to minors, and don't go up the stairs, I live up there.
OCC Rules: No RPing for the shopkeeper and all other School RPG Rules apply.

"Nnnn, hot chocolate. Get enough of weird concoctions at home." Sure, it probably butterer probably tasted good, but at the moment Amur wanted something simple and normal. And well, chocolate. One couldn't go wrong there, right?
She had fallen in step to follow him, when he went and said that. That most wonderful thing that reminded her why he wasn't in that blue house. That stopped her dead in her tracks. Because he was brilliant. MORE brilliant than any Ravenclaw could EVER be. And so, for a moment, she stood there in the middle of the room, staring at his back, the grin forming bit by bit.
With a sudden burst of energy, Amur rushed back to his side, grinning madly. "On second thought make that butterer. And do you really think so? You really think they'd go for that? I mean don't Professors want to go home too? And why would they trust a student? I wouldn't trust a student if I were them." Probably why most walked around like with rather constipated expressions. "Especially in the nicety of summer. Kids go weird then."
She knew. She was one of them.
But still. I was worth a shot, wasn't it? "I'm buying." To celebrate Zeke and his brilliant mind. And so there was no argument, her little coin purse was out and her eyebrows raised expectantly at her friend. What was he having? Hmmmm?
But more importantly... "Things? What things?" It didn't occur to her that it might be a private question. He could say so if it was. It was just the most logical question to such a mysterious answer.
Hot chocolate! One couldn't really go wrong with hot chocolate, so he wasn't at all put off by THIS response. Nope, it made perfect sense in his eyes. What he didn't understand though was the whole weird concoction thing. HOW was butterbeer a weird concoction? Then again he supposed for a muggle it would be - he'd adapted to it very quickly though.
"Okay," he agreed, leaning against the bench to await his turn to order for them.
And so a butterbeer it would be... because, that's what she wanted, right? A butterbeer? He realised that the syllables weren't quite right, but he was excellent at reading between lines and making interpretations that weren't quite there. "Coming' right up," he grinned.
Did he think it was possible to work at the school over the summer? ... Yes? And the reason he thought this was simply because there were animals and plants that needed caring for even when they were not there. And he couldn't imagine Professor Thompson taking all the creatures home with him. No, there would HAVE to be an on-campus carer. "Plants and animals need sustenance, somebody would have to be there to keep things in check. I doubt they lock up the school and let them fend for themselves." And what of the caretaker? Surely he would have to be around as well. SURELY.
And say what now? She was buying? Zeke shrugged. "Sure," and so when it was their turn to order he relayed their beverages of choice. "Two butterbeers thanks," he grinned at Mr Lagerty. Cool dude he was. Cool dude.
Turning back to Amur he cocked his head to one side and then the other. "I have to go to this hearing thing in a court, about changing my name. The forms are all filled, just need mum to sign it and lodge it... so I need to properly talk her into it, but then I have to answer questions about being okay with it and all." Complicated stuff it seemed. Go figure HE signed the paper too.

I thought he was super cool, and he recognised me from Quidditch." Which had BASICALLY won Toby over, though he'd have been won over anyway, after all.
Anyways, Toby finally decided to sit like a normal human being, mainly so that he could see Ella better, though he had every intention to continue squishing her with hugs again soon, no doubt about it. HER bouncing made HIM all bouncy too, and how long had it been since that happened? "Brilliant! Yes, perfect!" It really was perfect, 'cause it was like... family. It occurred to Toby to ask if his grandmother could come too, but just as he opened his mouth to pose the question, he suddenly remembered Ella's grandmother, and how she wouldn't be here for it, so he decided not to bring it up, just in case it made her sad (Toby definitely didn't want to make that happen). He'd just write to Alec later and ask him, perhaps. "I think that sounds great."
Ella's smile widened, if possible, at the mention of Treyen and how cool he was. She agreed one hundred percent and the fact that two of her favorite people got on, well, that made her heart smile. "How are things with Quidditch, by the way?" The blonde knew that recruiters started early, especially when it came to talent like Tobias. She wouldn't be surprised if he'd already heard something.
"I'm really glad you do. You're my family and they're yours so it makes sense they'd be there. I'll be sure to send an official invite to all of you when the time comes." And she'd probably get on that soon considering how quickly time was flying by. "I'll be right back, okay? I'm going to go grab us some butterbeers. Don't go anywhere." Sister's orders.
LOL I was wondering what butterer was (but was too lazy to look at the menu XD)

Amur gave her friend a long, skeptical sidelong glance. She'd been told doing so could make some people uncomfortable, or think her strange, but she hadn't really listened. The point was the look was supposed to be strange, because whoever was recieving it was being strange. Some people, just didn't know how to read body language.
"I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they did. Do it with the elves." Yes, she was still on that train, and no she wasn't getting off it till each elf had ten pairs of their own socks. But then, the animals often looked better off than the elves, so maybe Zeke had a point. Amur let out a huff of air and crossed her arms. "I suppose though, you might have a point."
Another sidelong look, because important issues number two. "How were you not sorted as a Raven?" Wasn't calling him non-brave or anything like that, he just had more brains than the average Gryffindor, which, admittedly, wasn't very hard.
She'd let him think about his answer to that one as she moved up to pay for the drinks, thanking the man behind the counter as coin was exchanged for two heavy-handled mugs. She returned to Zeke's side and looked out over the room, nodding her chin in the direction of an empty table as he took to his explanation.
A thoughtful twist of her lips, both in contemplation of his words and concentration to not spill a drop as they went along. "Sounds complicated. But, why would you have to talk your mom into it? Shouldn't she be all for it?" He was changing his name to her's, right? Because he was a Rogers at the moment, and that, as far as she could remember hearing, wasn't his mom's name. "And why would they need to ask you more questions? Isn't fairly simple? Do you want to or not? Yes. Done. No. Rejected. Stamped. Signed. Filed. Done."
Red tape. She didn't understand it.

...
Zeke returned Amur's side-long look, only without the expressions. Did she know her weird was showing? It was all over her face... which was rather funny. He couldn't help but crack a grin.
Of course he should have known that the second year would change the topic to the house elves. How she hadn't found a way to free them all was beyond her, though he actually kinda had an idea for that... he'd think on it some more before letting her in on it though. No need to create a monster and free a bunch of elves that didn't want to be freed. That'd be awkward. But pfft, of course he had a point. "When don't I?" he asked in return. He usually did.
But then there was another look, followed by THAT statement. "Uhhhhhhhh...." did that answer her question? No, probably not, in which case he could explain some. "Well the hat pretty much said I waste dumb for Ravenclaw, I always have questions, but I don't understand complex things or something like that." Which he was beginning to think was absolute hogwash. He could totally do complex thoughts and things!
And now all he could do is think back to his time on the stool with the ancient hat on his head.
...
He had thought it was stupid at the time, in hindsight he didn't think much better of it. But he was happy in Gryffindor, he was in the right place, even if Slytherin would have fit him just as well. Ravenclaw wasn't such a good idea, as nice as it would have been... because he didn't much fancy having to be let into his common room every day. He didn't think he would EVER be able to answer the doors stupid riddles.
But then before he knew it, they had drinks, and so he followed Amur to their seats, sipping off the top of his drink as he walked.
Complicated? It wasn't, not really... except with Emily, that was a tad complicated. "I dunno, she has this thing where she doesn't want people knowing we're a family because she thinks someone will kidnap or kill me or something..." dangerous stuff and all that, "But Browne's a common name, common sounding at least, so I don't see the problem with it." At any rate, he'd talked her into getting the papers, so it was a matter of time before she agreed to it enough to sign the thing. As for why he had to go to a hearing... well that was a good question.
"I don't know, might be because I was adopted?" he answered honestly. "I was told it had to happen for the papers to go through, but it could just be mum making it sound like more work than it's worth so that I give up." As if he would though, pfft. No, it was definitely going to happen.

But there was always another way of saying things. Sitting down at an empty booth, she clasped her hands around her mug. "So. I think we should burn it. The hat that is." Wasn't a sentient being or anything. Just a charmed bit of ugly fashioned leather.
As for the issue about his name, Amur took another long drink, the foam catching on her upper lip. "True enough, but don't you think that if someone really wanted to get at your mom, they would be able to find out who you were regardless of your name?"
She blinked, realizing how awful those words tasted in her mouth. How her stomach twisted uncomfortably and suddenly, even for the briefest moments, everyone in the Broomsticks looked like a threat. She dropped her eyes. "Sorry. Sensitive topic I'm sure."
Couldn't even imagine. And, from some of her dad's stories he had written, she could imagine a lot. Another sip. She glanced up. "Those questions can't be too hard though. Sounds like you already know the answers."
As in, he sounded happy with his new family. That was all that really mattered, wasn't it?

Seeing a young lad come up to the counter Harold nodded as he ordered butterbeer. As he turned to get the two drinks he wondered if these were a few more Valentine's Day dates. "Care for a few heart shape cookies for you and your friend." He wasn't going to assume, but he had assumed.
Setting the drinks of the counter, "That will be ten sickles please." He waiting and took the boys money as he continued to talk to his friend. "You two have a good day now."

Emmylou was sure that she had enough seating for everyone. She really didn't have too many other friends really. She knew that no one would match up to her at all. the sixth year was actually nervous about her birthday. This wasn't a party but it was like a little get together. She didn't want anything, she just wanted to be around people that she cares about and people that care about her. The blonde just sat there waiting to see who would show up first. She was a little bored right now.

Cookies? Zeke would have said yes... except they were heart shaped and therefore allergic to those.
"No thanks," he replied with a casual shake of the head. Nope nope nope.... weeeeeelllllll..... no... no he shouldn't.
Of course it had been Amur's money he pushed across the counter to Lagerty, but their drinks were paid and so they were on their way.

Catch him not having a point? HA! "Yeah, good luck with that." Seriously. He always had a point, that he knew, and if he didn't know then... why would anyone else? Or something? BAH!
But then all thoughts of points and keeping score were forgotten, because if he wasn't mistaken, Amur smelled strongly of a conspiracy theory. A juicy one a that. Admittedly, he hadn't thought of anything like that until she'd said it, but ti DID make some sense. It did. Crazy, but perhaps with a great deal of truth in it. "So, by not letting me be sorted to Ravenclaw, it was limiting my potential? But if it were to do that properly then I wouldn't be in Gryffindor." Truth. Because frankly, he felt as if he belonged. So how would she explain that? And... if the sorting hat was limiting them, then how did it try to limit her? He assumed she wasn't one of said 'victims'. "Where did it try to sort you?" he asked, curiosity burning.
Zeke followed her to the side of the room, slipping into the booth opposite her. He was taking a generous swig of his butterbeer when she said something about burning it. ..... it was a good thing he didn't spit his drink in her direction, managing to keep his mouth closed despite his lips tightening into a smirk.
Merlin.
"I threatened to burn it if it sorted me to Hufflepuff, it changed its mind very quickly, so I think burning it would mean the end of it." Like, fire, was the ULTIMATE weapon. "So when are we doing it?" Were they going to try for a night operation or were they going to go it in the day? So many options, and access wasn't all too limited, he knew of plenty that went in and out her office. They would just need to make sure they weren't the only ones in there if they were to go it in the day.
He was perhaps a little distracted by the foam on her lip, but he heard her words nonetheless. "That's what I kept saying, but she always has an answer to everything. At least dad's on my side, kinda." Maybe not with the name thing, he didn't know, but he was on his side where Emily's 'killer' concerns were concerned. He thought it was laughable, so there was nothing much left to it. And as quickly as that was said and done, Amur looked as guilty as if she'd have stabbed him in the back right then and there. "No, it's fine. It is ridiculous, all sorts of ridiculous... if only you knew." The lectures, the warnings, the chaperones.... it got old.
He grinned though, taking another small sip of his drink before continuing. "Of course, I've done some research, by the time I'm done with them they won't have any reason not to give me my name." As far as he was concerned, it was already his.
Ah, yes. Ella raised a good question about Quidditch there; one Toby wasn't too sure how to answer. Things were... difficult to keep on top of when he was stuck here in school. But... that didn't mean there had been no progress.
"Well," Toby said, fiddling with the cuff of his sleeve and giving an almost shy smile. "I mean... there's not much I can really do any more 'til I graduate, but I've, uhh... been in contact with some people, y'know?" U17 coaches had passed his name along, and there had always been scouts at those league matches. "There's some interest, y'know. I actually trained with the Wanderers over Christmas, spoke to the managers. But I'll know for sure what's happening when I'm out of Hogwarts." It was all very exciting. No matter what, it looked like Toby would be able to get into a pro team, even as a reserve, and that was all he wanted.
He grinned again, enthusiastic because WEDDING. FAMILY WEDDING GUESTS RAHHH. "Brilliant! I'll be sure to tell them to keep the end of July free. Though I don't think there's anything they're really planning." Although... there was the Disney trip that they'd all ended up missing because of Toby's... ahem... cow incident. Sooooo... yeah. Good to give them a heads up. Toby nodded. "I'm not going anywhere. I'll be right here." He drummed his hands on the table for emphasis. Right here.

Emmylou was sure that she had enough seating for everyone. She really didn't have too many other friends really. She had more than just these friends of hers but people like Cinna she just had one of those.
Keely headed into the Three Broomsticks with a small wrapped box. One of her dorm mates was having a little get together to celebrate her birthday and she wasn't going to miss it. She liked Emmylou and considered her a good friend in addition to sharing a room with her. She was one of the few to really welcome the transfer student to Hogwarts.
The sixth year knew that Emmylou had said that she didn't want anything, but, even though it wasn't much, she still wanted to get her something. A girl only turned Of Age once. Looking around, she spotted the blonde girl already seated and she headed that why. "Hey!" she grinned as she leaned in for a one-armed hug before taking a seat opposite her. "Happy birthday!"

Kace made his way to the Three Broomsticks. He got the invite from Emmy to come down. He was dressed in his best collared shirt which happened to be light blue. I mean it did bring out his eyes. Then he was dressed in tan dress pants and his black converse. He was not gonna go all dressed up. As he walked down and found the restaurant, he opened the door and felt the warmth and coziness inside. He breathed it in and then exhaled in relief. He smiled when he saw Emmy and found her sitting with someone else. Huh...he didn't know her.
He wondered who she could be. She seemed new to him. He grinned and crept up behind Emmy and kissed her cheek. "Happy Birthdayyy Babe.." and he showed her his mini gift box. He wasn't going to give to her quite yet. She needed to wait in suspense a little bit longer. He took his seat next to her and waited for others to arrive. He acknowledged the girl (Keely) and nodded to her. "Hello I am Kace." I mean introductions were necessary right?

Even if her and Emmy were only on talking terms, Lux was definitely going to be there for her 17th birthday. A girl only turned of age once, and they were family now through marriage.
Gift in hand - because Emmy was getting one whether she wanted it or not - Lux made her way inside The Three Broomsticks. "Happy Birthday, Emmy!" Beam. And there was Kace and a girl that she was not familiar with. "Hello, I'm Lux!" It was always great to meet new people.
Kace got a hello hug, but Lux wasn't sure if she should give Emmy one too because they weren't exactly close. She was just happy to be here for her birthday.
Still trying to feed Helena as she looked at her daddy, Victoria couldn't help but smile. She loved seeing her happy and loved seeing her husband. It was a good day all the way around. "Helena dear take another bite of applesauce." Slipping it into the six month old's mouth. She watched as most dribbled down her chin as she reached for the rose.
"Thank you sweetie." She took the rose and kissed his cheek, "I love you." Beaming she reached down and pulled a rattle from the diaper bag for Helena to hold.
"I'm glad he is doing well. I was hoping he wouldn't start slacking after Rebecca pulled her Quidditch stuff with him over Christmas." She wanted to give him all the opportunities she could, but at the same time she did not want him to think he could take the easy way out. "So tell me how are are things at the school?" It was a question that always put a knot in her stomach, she had found over the years not to expect good to come from that question. Though last term seemed to have been a marvelous quiet and safe one other than one horrible accident concerning a student.
"I can feed her too," Cosgrach said as he watched them as if they were the only people in the shop. With her help, he'd got much better at baby care. He touched Helena's cheek again, then smiled at Vic.
"I love you too." He sat down and frowned. "No, Bart is smarter than that." Hopefully...
School. Hah. They had a missing groundskeeper. Lovely, wasn't it? Cosgrach decided she didn't need to know that now, not until they learnt more, so he shrugged as nonchalantly as a professional Slytherin got. "Fine. Nothing spectacular so far." He had to find Bart and tell him to keep quiet about it.
Cinna might have been a little late, but that was okay. That didn't matter she was busy. She had woken up early, and been a ridiculous best sister cousin person and decorated the dorm. Singing horribly off key and everything this morning. Emmy had already gotten some of her presents this morning. But Cinna had more for her. What could she say she loved giving presents as much as she loved getting much. Sometimes she went a little overboard, this was one of those times.
She straighten up her dress before walking into The three broomsticks, looking around for the birthday girl. She figured that Kace was there and she was happy to see that Keely was there, too. She knew that Bart was on his way. But she was most surprised to see Lux there too. Kind of had the old group back together. Heading over to the table she waved. "Hey guys. How are you?" Grinning at everyone as she took a seat. Was anyone else coming?

Emmylou yawned while she waited for her friends. She was tired because she couldn't sleep last night. She was excited for her birthday. Somehow after she had gotten breakfast this morning she forgot to go back up in the common room to see if Cinna was going to walk down to here with her but she had a feeling that Bart would show up with her. Still looking around she saw Keely, a smile grew on her face. "Hey Keely!" She waved and hugged her back. "Thank you for showing up to my little get together." She really didn't have to but she did! Maybe a few minutes after Keely has shown up Kace made and entrance to the Three Broomsticks too. "Hey Kace." She smiled back at him.
Now with two people here there were still two people missing. After Kace had shown up she saw Lux walk into the place. Emmylou didn't really want to invite Lux but she did. Mostly to just be nice to her. The sixth year wasn't going to start any drama with Lux. "Hi Lux." She gave her a small smile. "Thank you for showing up." She didn't even have to show up at all. There was the next person to show up. The best friend/sister/cousin, also know as Cinna. "Hi Cinna." She wasn't going to thank her because she was family and had no choice but to show up.

Victoria couldn't help but smile in the six months that Helena was alive her husband had become so good with infants. She remembered for a moment when he was so nervous, but she knew he'd do a great job. He was already a great father to her other children. "Sure sweetie" Pushing the jar of applesauce over and giving him the spoon to feed her.
Her smile continued to grow as he said nice things about Bart. She was hoping now that he was older he was maturing and getting rid of the prank aspect of his life. That and his dark interest. She had found the books over the summer and quickly disposed of them. It worried her though she wouldn't say anything. "That's good to hear." It made her very happy to hear.

Bart was there and on time, he just wasn't at the table yet which made him seem late. He had just walked in when he saw his mother and step dad in the corner so instead of going to the party table he took a detour and played with his baby sister for a bit. It was great seeing her and how big she had gotten since Christmas. He wished his mom would have brought his other sisters too.
Though he did not need anyone to see his softer side, so once he was done babying his sis he made his way away from the table and went to the party table, Don't worry all the party can get started now. I have arrived." He smirked at them all as he looked around the table, "Sup" His head nodded towards everyone. "Happy Birthday Emmy" Hugs went to the birthday girl and then to the girlfriend, "Hey babe"

Lux could tell that Emmy hadn't really wanted her to come, but that was okay. At least they were being civil and that was the important thing. "Yeah, no problem! Glad to be here." Emmy would be invited for her 17th birthday, but Lux wasn't sure what was happening with that. Too bad it had to take place at Hogwarts.
Smiling she looked around as Cinna and Bart joined them. "Hey, guys!" It was nice to see everyone. This party was going to be awesome for Emmy. Too bad Bay wasn't here though, because he made everything perfect.

Ten years.
It had been ten years since she left Hogwarts. Her family and personal problem makes her had to leave everything. It was the darkest time of her life. But now she had passed those phases and became a (sort of) totally new person. She had been cured from her sickness, growing up, accepting her fate, and not to mention that she's being more mature than other 22-year-old girls.
Having a break time from her study at Hopkins, the brunette girl decided to visit London instead coming back to Seattle. She did miss being a witch-Well, she's still one but she rarely practiced it around since she currently lived around muggle community and she studied at medical school to be a doctor. Yep, a doctor. It's a looooong story why she decided to be a doctor instead of pursuing her wizarding education. Before she arrived at London, Raven did write a note to Zhenya that she's gonna be around Hogsmeade and perhaps they could meet up. They decided to meet here, at the Three Broomsticks.
Entering the pub, she took of her coat and looked around. Well, seemed like she was too early because she hadn't seen her friend around. Never mind, she could wait. After getting a glass of warm butterbeer, she walked to the corner and sat there, resting her long legs after a looong journey. Hmm... How she missed butterbeer and this place so much.

Before the Puffanov sat down, he felt a hug from somewhere. He knew it wasn't Emmy since she was busy talking to people but he looked down and noticed it was Lux. "Oh hey cucumber." he grinned saying her nickname. Then he was curious and whispered, "What did you get Emms?"
As Kace sat down next to Emmy of course, he noticed Cinna made her entrance. She always had interesting outfit choices that seemed to compliment her in obviously a good way. He nodded towards her and gave her a polite wave. "Hey Cinna. Oh nothing much just eager to eat is all." I mean he was a growing boy with a big appetite. He asked her this too, "You still have those water balloons?" I mean she was hiding them for some reason. Then he heard Emmy greet him and he kissed her and he broke away from the kiss when Bart appeared. Man he hadn't seen him in a while. "Hey dude! What has been going in your life?" I mean he was curious. Now to turn his attention back to Emmy."I hope you like your gift I got you. Don't worry it is something small." he assured her. He needed to be the gentlemen here.
[QUOTE=Bazinga;11772127]Victoria couldn't help but smile in the six months that Helena was alive her husband had become so good with infants. "Sure sweetie" Pushing the jar of applesauce over and giving him the spoon to feed her.

"That's very good to hear. I worry so much about you two while you are here. I still wonder at times if bringing Bart here was the safest choice." It was Cossy that made her keep him there after he had the old issues and she trusted her husband completely.
Cosgrach took the spoon and started feeding his daughter almost as professionally as Victoria. He loved these moments. It felt as if they were bonding on a very deep level. Was Helena appreciating it too? He hoped so.
He made a disgusted sound. Yeah, silly Rebecca trying to do things over her capacity, but Bart was better than that, knew better than that. So all good.
"I'm with him," he said as reassuringly as he could, "I won't let anything happen to him." He also held her gaze just so she could see he really wouldn't, then turned to an impatient Helena.
"Abraxan comiiiiiiiing!" Y'know, muggles had planes and wizards had abraxans.
Just as soon as she had sat down she was standing right back up. She wanted Emmylou hugs too! Not that she hadn't been getting Emmylou hugs all day already. She hugged Emmy again. "Happy birthday. Don't worry I won't sing to you again." Laughing. She'd already did that this morning in the dorm. So she wouldn't terrify the others will her singing. "You guys will luck out and not have to hear it." Though Keely might have heard her. She hoped that she wasn't loud enough for others in the dorm to hear. She smiled at the other three. "Maybe I do maybe I don't, Kace." Like she was going to tell him. Then turned to Emmy again. "I have the rest of your present." Beamy.
She was about to sit back down but she was getting hugged again this time by Bart! "Hey, boyfriend." She grinned and squeezed him back and give him a quick kiss on the cheek. It was a good thing she went for the cheek. Seeing his mom, sister and Culloden she waved to them. That explained how he just appeared out of nowhere. Settling back down in her seat. "She's getting big isn't she?" Nudging him in the arm. It made her miss her little brother, sister, and niece. She wished her dad would bring them for her and Emmy to see one weekend. That would be cool.

She had thoughts, all the thoughts, and any wedding talk would be put on hold or a moment, yeah? Also, she wasn't going to share these very important thoughts until they both had a butterbeer in hand for reasons. So yes, conversation was on pause and she'd been assured he wasn't leaving so off she went, rather excitedly.
...
Returning a few minutes later, the blonde sat herself right beside the badger and set their drinks down. She then wrapped him up in a BIG hug. "Tobias!" Gosh, she was SO proud. SO PROUD OF HIM! After a bit of squeezing, Ella let go and then picked up her drink, motioning for him to do the same. "This calls for a toast, yeah? To your very bright Quidditch future."

Keely smiled back at Emmylou as she settled into her seat. "Of course! I wouldn't miss it. Seventeen is special." She couldn't wait till she was Of Age in just a couple months. And she wasn't seated long till some others began to show up.
Being new this year, it wasn't much of a surprise to Keely that she didn't know everyone that was invited all that well, but she was at least familiar with them even if they weren't sure who she was. Mostly from hearing about them through her roommates or seeing them in class, she could make the deduction. "Hey, I'm Keely," she nodded to Kace as he introduced himself. "Emmy's boyfriend, right?" Of course, she knew that, but was just making conversation.
And then a girl that she recognized from school, but didn't really know - Lux. Keely gave her a small smile at the introduction. "Keely.. nice to meet you." Hey, there was Cinna. The 16 year old gave her a grin as she came over and greeted everyone. She slid over a bit to allow her some room at the table. "Hey, Cinna... Awesome job decorating the dorm today." Yes, she noticed, it was kinda hard not to, but she thought it was really cool that she did that. Not to mention is was fun and festive.
"Hey." She gave a nod and smile to Cinna's boyfriend, Bart, as he joined them and she vaguely wondered if this was everyone or if there would be more to join them. Because if they were all here, it was time to get the party started. She heard something about water balloons, which could be fun if it wasn't February.

THERE HE WAS! Her best friend/cousin/sisters boyfriend, also known as Bart or Bartman for her enjoyment! Oh? A hug? She got a hug? O_______________O Weird. Emmylou smiled and hugged Bart back. "Hey! Thank you! And thank you for coming!" Once again he didn't have to there were only two people that had to show up and that was Cinna and Kace. Emmylou looked over at Lux and just gave her a simple nod and turned to Kace who was talking to her. The sixth year beamed. "I'm sure I'll love what you got me." It wasn't the gift that counted at all and she knew that Kace that she didn't want a gift from anyone. Emmy let out a little giggle at Keely. "Everyone keeps telling me that." Emmylou said and then she turned her head as she heard Cinna. "Thank you Cinna." She smiled at her "Oh thank goodness!" She was partially joking about Cinna's singing but it was awful. Emmy wasn't a good singer either so she had no room to talk. "You what?! more presents?" Really she was al presents out right now.
He didn't know where his mummy and daddy had gone and he didn't care right now. The little boy just knew where his big sister and his favorite cousin was because he heard his mummy and daddy talking about it and that they would maybe show up but after ages and ages of boring shopping the little boy just wanted to see his two favorite people in the whole world...besides mummy and daddy and sometimes Zoe when she wasn't being a whiny baby OH AND BART! Bart is so cool. Really cool. Chase looked up at a person that had opened the door to him, he looked around for Emmy and Cinna when he found then he started running right for them. "SISSSSY! EM AND EMMY! I MISSEDED YOU GUYS SO MUUUUCH! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME EVER AGAIN!" he yelled happily and gave them both a big hug. He wasn't going to let go either.
