It seemed that the brunette was spending more time by herself lately but that was just alright with her. Sometimes being alone was for the best as it gave you time to think things over or do something that you might enjoy. Wandering the corridors was just one of those things Hady seemed to do when she was by herself.

That's how she found herself on the fourth floor today currently sitting down on the floor with her back to the wall studying the large tapestry on the wall opposite her. The colors and picture itself was just so nicely done that she couldn't help but sit there and look at it. Hady also knew there was a story that had to do with this certain tapestry but oddly enough she couldn't recall much of it at the moment. There was also a secret passageway that was once behind it...where it lead to she had no idea but that was alright too. Maybe when she got bored enough with just sitting here doing nothing she'd take a trip to the library and search for a book to learn more. Later on though. Not to mention the corridor happened to be quiet right now. Tucking her legs up towards her chest and resting her arms on her knees made sure that anyone who may wander this way wouldn't trip over her. At least they wouldn't if they were paying some form of attention.

His classmates had been busy. It seemed a good amount of them had decided on the poster option for the homework as well. Granted he hadn't checked out the other towers but the main points of the higher floors had been posted. Benny in turn had landed on the fourth floor and gotten off of the moving stairs with the intention of perhaps heading towards the library. It had done well for his choice of charms work earlier in the month. However in his travels down the fourth floor corridor he came upon another option.

The Mysterious Tapestry.

Next to the large hanging work seemed like a good enough spot for his next poster than any. Sure had enough people passing around it and with the wall around the tapesty bare, it wouldn't get lost there. So he rested the other three on the floor at his feet and took out his wand once more as he unrolled the fourth along the stone. The sticking charm worked wonders once more and before long, the posted was hanging without his own physical effort.

Onto the next.

Surely a majestic tapestry such as this would attract the house elves' attention on a regular basis, would it not? Definitely not, as massive cobwebs have appeared overnight. The scene beneath has been obscured, and the new subject hanging there is sure to cause quite a stir...

Was that? Could it be? AJ stopped and stared for a full minute with her mouth gaping open at the scene in front of her.

"PEBBLES!!!" The shock was still there, and it was taking her a moment to fully gather her thoughts. "What on earth are you doing here?" Okay, she was being mental. This was a rock for crying out loud. A rock that had her head of house on edge...

SHE HAD BEEN THE ONE TO FIND PEBBLES.

Think, Valentine. She was so elated that all she could do was screech and jump around. Airey was going to be SO happy, and she was going to be the one responsible for that. Erm... how exactly was she supposed to go about this? If she left, something might happen to Pebbles or somebody might try and steal her glory. SHE had found him. Back up everybody else.

Could she scream loud enough for Airey to hear her all the way to the seventh floor? Probably, but what if he wasn't even there? AJ didn't want to mess this up. This was a possible crime scene.

Help?

Schmoop did trudge through the castle searching for webbies and looking for buggies and was tired tired tired.

And so seeing the completely covered Tapestry, Schmoop did let out a wail. "Why is so many webs! Schmoop just clean yesterday. Schmoop want to make cookies insteads." Schmoop did not even pay much attention to the student mistress and whatever she was so excited about.

So sad sad sad was Schmoop that the elf did not see the rock in the middle. Did not see the missing Pebbles. Did not notice when the pet shifted as more webs were cleaned away and it fell free...

... and conked poor Schmoopsie on his ickle elfie head.

"Ooooowwwwwwwwww..." Schmoop did sit down underneath the webby tapestry and rub the new bumb on his poor head.

Benny had the idea to check back and see how his posters were holding up with the cobwebs growing up all around the castle. He had certainly had to clean a couple of them up a lot so far so that they weren't totally obscured by the spidery substance. Thankfully he had been able to keep his sneezing from getting too out of control. The Gryffindor didn't fancy another trek to the hospital wing for more potions.

He had come to the tapestry where he had he had hung another of his posters, only to see that it too had fallen victim to the cobwebs. It wasn't going to get anyone's attention that way, supposed to be garnishing support and help in finding Pebbles."Hey..." he said, as he noticed AJ there as well. What was she looking at? But before he could ask her, a house-elf appeared. Maybe he or she would finally start cleaning up the area. At least that's what appeared to be its purpose in being around here. However his attention was gotten when something fell and hit the poor creature on the head.

What in Merlin's beard?

"Are you alright?" he asked concerned. The sixth year thenn moved to investigate, bending down to get a closer look. Benny's eyes widdened as he recognized what it was, picking up the pet rock. "Pebbles!" Benny looked to AJ almost incredulously. "You found her."

Man, it was just like magic. One second AJ was hoping for help. For a sign. For anything. Pop went the elf who didn't even seem to notice her. All of a sudden the lion was getting super territorial. No growls happened... YET.

Her pebbles. Well, not technically hers, but nobody was raining on her parade. Then the elf knocked Pebbles down. "Oh no. Are you okay?" She bent down to make sure the elf wasn't going to pass out on her or anything. No extra drama, please.

Hearing a familiar voice, AJ turned her head to see Benny. Oh, thank the sweet baby unicorns. "I'm so glad to see you." Oh yeah. She had forgotten for just a tiny moment when the elf was hurt. "I... I guess I did."

"I was hunting spiders because my other ones need some new friends. I'm trying to set up a nice play date when I stumbled upon her. Cool, huh?" Benny would know what to do. "I wasn't sure if I should leave her or bring her with me, or... what if Airey needs to see her here?" Rambling, she was.

She was glad to see him?

AJ had found their head of house's pet rock...what role did he have in that? Other than showing up after her and picking Pebbles up off the floor after she was knocked down by the cleaning house-elf. Benny was going to leave it be though, which proved to work since as he listened to his friend describe how she had come upon the pet rock, it seemed it might have been the presence of help that she was glad for.

"I had been coming to check on my poster with the cobwebs growing around..." he said, explaining his own presence as he absently posted at the work. Not that it was needed now that the purpose of the poster had been negated by the presence of the rock in his hand. The issue of what exactly to do still lingered in the situation though. "Part of me thinks Flamsteed will just be exstatic to see her either way," Benny mused with a shrug.

Did they really need to worry about where she was found?

"Schmoop is fine. Schmoop is fine. Master and Mistress no worry about Schmoop. Schmoop always has head bumps, yes." But Schmoop was still a little wuzzy and so slow to get on his feet.

But on his feet he got and leaned on the wall. "Master Professor will be very very happies. Brings Pebbles to Master Professor and Schmoop will clean."

Because webbies. So many webbies.

Thank goodness the elf was okay. "If you're sure." AJ debated whether or not to ask him how many fingers she was holding up, when Benny spoke. Oh, right. The posters. How funny was it that Pebbles was right where the poster was. Life was weird. Surely she hadn't been there the whole time. Otherwise Benny would have noticed. Such a shame too. She would be majorly bummed out if she were him. Just a moment sooner and he would have the Pebbles finding glory.

He had a point. "You're right. You're right. You're right." Bouncing up and down was happening again. Her excitement level was off the charts. She was beamy, flaily, and beyond happy. Airey was going to be SO proud of her. AJ reached over and took Pebbles from out of his hands, and stuck her in her back pocket. They wouldn't be forgetting who had actually found him, yes? Ahem.

"Let's go," she said as she looped arms with Benny and started to drag him towards where she hoped her head of house would be.

Benny looked at the elf as it assured them that he was okay. Was he really? AJ seemed milldly skeptical as well but he doubted if they pressured that they would get another reaction. At least he...Schmoop...picked their ultimate option for them wven as AJ agreed with his musings. "Seee..." Go to Flamsteed and make the professor a happy man again. That would be good news for them all.

AJ was clearly excited now, her bouncing giving her away before he random repeating of phrases. Ah when one sister seemed as hyper as the other. What were he and Adi mixed up in? Benny was brought back to the present as the younger lion took the pet rock from him like he was unsafe. Whatever. But it was the looped arms and pulling of his extremity that got him moving again. "I'm coming," he assured her as he allowed his longer-legged stride to catch up and ease the pulling.

Off to the astronomy tower.
