Taking a deep breath and shuffling his feet to Airey's door, Zeke knocked twice and took to standing off to the side, leaning against the wall. It was difficult to trust these sofas now... too much had happened, despite how good they looked.

Playing Arranging his Star Trek action figures when the knock on his door came, Airey fumbled and flailed about for a moment wondering if it was worth hiding his display with a Disillusionment Charm or if he should just let them be. He had a THING against using magic on collectible and special muggle things.

Why he had voted against the magic carpet proposition on the ballet. That...and he was a broom purist of sorts.

ANYWAY!

Unable to bring himself to disillusion his precious figures, the professor left them as they were and walked to the door.

"Good day, Mr. Zeke," he smiled down at the young man after having opened the door. "What can I, ahem, do for you?"

He spared a side glance at the magazine display. As much as he LIKED Astronomy, he didn't like it enough to read about it for leisure... and considering reading the textbook was difficult enough, he didn't think translating what astronomy enthusiasts had to say would be any easier. If anything it'd be far harder. Surely.

Magazines though, had pictures and he was ALMOST tempted to pick one up, just for the purpose of LOOKING while he waited. It was possible that Professor Airey was already seeing someone, and he didn't think to make an appointment.

Sigh.

The wait wasn't very long though, and as a result he hadn't even had an opportunity to decide WHICH magazine he was going to rifle through. His Head of House was here!

"Hey Professor Airey," he greeted with a small smile. He wondered if perhaps he'd interrupted something, was he busy? "I uuhh... just need to talk, are you available?"

Rusty was out of breath - having legged it as fast as she could from her spot outside waaaay up to the astronomy tower - so when she reached the area outside of Flamsteed's office she slumped against the wall for a second, breathing heavily.

Okay... okay she was okay. Breaaathe. Right. Anyway...

Knockknockknockknockknockknock she rapped quickly and excitedly on the door - not VERY loudly - just very quickly... and repeatedly - and waited for Professor Flamsteed to come out.

Somewhere after 'thank', words just went one ear and out the other to rebound off the wall and fall on to the floor. He only tuned back in to what Miss Fields was saying when she was nearing the end of telling him he was going to have a fantastic week.

Feeling. He was definitely getting some feeling back in his limbs now. Until he got another look at the feathers, leaves, and twigs that had accompanied the young Gryffindor.

Copernicus knew what else she had dragged up with her.

And it was all touching his suit. SHE was touching his suit. THERE WAS A BOUNDARY BEING BREACHED RIGHT NOW BETWEEN STUDENT AND PROFESSOR!

One that he only broke with graduating seventh years. And apparently under the influence of certain potions.

Instead of doing the civil thing and answering her questions, the astronomer found his voice in the form of a shrill SCREAM that echoed throughout the Astronomy Tower and beyond.

"GAAAAAAAAA - aaaaaaaaa - AAAAAAAAA - aaaaaaaa -AAAAAAH!"

Okay. Maybe now he could properly deflate like a balloon?

It didn't occur to her that the hug thing was sort of... not okay. And she'd never ever encountered someone who was so protective of clothes - they could always be cleaned right?

So for a moment she just sat where she'd fallen, a little startled, looking up at the teacher.

"Oh sweet solstice," he muttered to himself with a step towards the Gryffindor. "You....er. it's alright. Are you alright? We're alright?"

To be honest, Yoongi had completely forgotten his promise of stopping by the office to sign the adoption papers for a pet rock. As he fifth year , he naturally had his OWL studies , not to mention that he had to study even harder than anyone else because he came from a school where he hadn't learned at least three subjects because Charms took so much of their time. And preparing and practising for exams while learning the subjects for the first time was not a fun thing to do. Luckily he could always asked Leah for help and Adi had also offered up his time. So he was good. ....For now.

After finding the office, Yoongi knocked on the door a few times before he walked towards a large map on the wall which had gotten his attention. He studied it before coming to the conclusion that he did not get anything and began to walk towards a framed magazine. He cocked his head to the side as he realised that the Professor himself was on the cover and Yoongi looked impressed. Ah~ one day he was on the cover of a magazine.

Rusty was still sat on the floor, looking sort of startled. Like a rabbit in the headlightsthat'd had someone scream right at it. She stared at Professor Flamsteed. Like, really stared.

She involuntarily shuffled back a little as he took a step towards her, then scrambled to her feet.

"I'm... okay." Rowan stood at a safe distance, resting her hand on the little robin brooch on her chest. "...y-..." No... probably not best to say 'you probably aren't though' to a teacher. Even if he was clearly not alright....

Smiling softly at the obviously uncomfortable Professor Marsha pulled the conversation away from the Howler… quickly.

”Well, Professor… We were wanting to adopt rocks.” She was sure she had said that already, but the man was obviously in shock. So she would let him off hehehe. After all, he was one of her favourite teachers. ”We missed the fayre at the start of term and we wanted to see if there were any left to adopt?”

Yup, she pointed between herself and Lance. They were the we, yup. He and her.

Hunched over his desk with hands pressed to his temples as he attempted to face another daunting day, Airey looked up when he heard several knocks at the door. Taking a deep breath, the astronomer attempted to put Medea's letter out of his mind and turn off all emotions easily influenced by the contents of her it. Which meant that he was essentially going Vulcan today.

Calmly, he swung open the door with a neutral smile. "Good day, how can I help you?"

Cool and collected like a cucumber.

Let's see...his private life was still in shambles and neither he nor Medea were quite sure how to pick up the pieces. He had falling behind on his research and was about to miss an important deadline. He HAD missed a deadline for Astronomy Now. Oh oh oh...AND PEBBLES WAS STILL MISSING!

Nostrils flaring, he took a moment to fuss with his tie and count to 10 in Klingon before addressing the Gryffindor. "Yes," he said calmly as his hands returned to his side. "If you ignore all the Missing posters, that is."

"This particular one was about exoplanet research, specifically," he explained as he looked at the cover once more. "Whenever it is you do, I expect a signed copy to add to my collection." Which primarily comprised of quidditch memorabilia at the moment, but it was slowly expanding into other areas as well. "Is that what you stopped by to ask me? About the magazine cover?"

Oh, Yoongi had seen the fussing with the tie and looking as if the man were about to either cry or yell, perhaps a combination of both? And it did not make him feel comfortable at all. Especially after his cryptic message about missing posters. Should he lie and say yes, that he had seen them? But then he would risk having to tell what was on the posters and he had no idea. Or should he tell the truth and ….how fast could he run? He hated running but he was pretty fast… Then again, he was curious. He didn’t get the name Curious Yoongi by his friends at home for nothing. “I haven’t ignored them…I just…didn’t …see them?” good answer , right? …right? Please?

Was this one of those, constant vigilance moments? Although he did not grab the wand in his wrist holster, Yoongi did hold his right arm stiff at his side so that it could fall in his hand the moment he had to. Ay, he had heard enough about how crazy Hogwarts was! “I just told you why I’m here a minute ago…” more suspicious looking “Should I go and get someone? The healer ? or maybe Professor Culloden , he could make a potion or something…..the Headmistress? Preferably her, you know, pretty , hehe” did he just say that out loud?! “I’ve come here to get my pet rock, remember?”

Old age was catching up with this dude.

Managing to chuckle a bit at the autograph practice comment, the professor's ears turned a shade of red when he realized his mistake. Or well, not when HE realized it really...but rather when he had been corrected. Sweet solstice things were getting to him these days. In the worst way possible.

"Oh yes. Right. Of course. Please. Do...er...do come in," he mumbled as he held the door open with his one hand.

Professor Airey was sad. And it showed. And Marsha didn’t like it. At all.

Really, she didn’t know if there was any way to help him, especially with Pebbles missing… but maybe a nice GRYFFINDOR red wall, would remind him of his Pride and of his family and of the people who would help him if he asked for it. Right?

Marsha had had a constant argument with herself on the way here. Professor Airey would love it. It would upset him more. He would like it. It would annoy him. Love, sadden, Like, annoy. Gosh. She still wasn’t fully sure that he would like it - but it was homework… so surely she couldn’t get into trouble… Especially if she was doing it with the best intentions… right?

She would take the consequences and hope that her Head of House loved it and remembered his Pride was behind him.

As she looked around the waiting area, she grinned at how empty the space was. She moved towards the end wall, it was the smallest wall - but also the one to the side of the couches and to the actual office door. OKAY. Here it went.

”Colovaria!” The first year said, watching the dark Gryffindor red spread towards the edge of the wall, and the floor. When the colour stopped spreading it was covered in a bizarre pattern. Shaking her head, she aimed her wand at the other side of the wall, ”Colovaria!” She said again, watching the rest of the bottom segment fill in.

This time about 75% of the wall was filled in, except for this weird semi-circle type of white across the top. Raising her wand, and up until she was on her own tip-toes (as if the extra two inches would help) she said the charm for a third time and watched with satisfaction as the rest of the wall completely turned to red.

THERE.

Taking a few steps back, she grinned. That looked pretty awesome… even if she did say so herself. Smiling wide as she turned around and left, Marsha hoped it at least made Professor Airey smile a little bit.

”Colovaria!” The first year said, watching the dark Gryffindor red spread towards the edge of the wall, and the floor. When the colour stopped spreading it was covered in a bizarre pattern. Shaking her head, she aimed her wand at the other side of the wall, ”Colovaria!” She said again, watching the rest of the bottom segment fill in.

This time about 75% of the wall was filled in, except for this weird semi-circle type of white across the top. Raising her wand, and up until she was on her own tip-toes (as if the extra two inches would help) she said the charm for a third time and watched with satisfaction as the rest of the wall completely turned to red.

THERE.

Taking a few steps back, she grinned. That looked pretty awesome… even if she did say so herself. Smiling wide as she turned around and left, Marsha hoped it at least made Professor Airey smile a little bit.

Airey was actually not in his office at the moment. Having been allow a precious few hours to floo home for a bit while leaving Maddox in charge in case of an emergency - and Sabel on standby because this WAS Maddox we were talking about - Airey walked the cold corridor towards his office with his hands full. In his left were a pair of collector's Star Trek flip flops that he most likely would never EVER wear and a utilikilt with a spork sticking out of one of its pockets. A curious sight to be sure, the astronomer had already decided that he was not going to answer any inquiries regarding the items in his possession.

Spotting only the Gryffindor at first, although he did notice his seating area had a bit more punch to it, the Astronomer professor approached the young woman with an amused smile playing on his lips. "Good day, Miss Hanover. Would you hold these for me?" he greeted, dropping the items in his hands right into her arms without saying another word. Although one could argue that the salute he gave her immediately after said something, but just what was up to interpretation.

And then he unlocked the door to his office, stepped inside, and shut it behind him.

Ah. The Professor. She clasped her hands in front of her innocently and smiled at her head of house. Nothing different here, nope. Not a thing. Ever. No.

Though… Professor Airey didn’t actually seem to have noticed… Was … Was he carrying flip-flops? And… Marsha glanced up at the mans serious face. Was that a SPORK? Man, she adored him and his classes but the man was slightly moonstruck. Did she need to go and warn someone else… maybe Professor Dakest that he might have a slightly loose screw? Why oh why, did their Astronomy Professor, have a belt with lots of tools in it?

”Uh… Sure Professor.” She said, as she held out her hands for them. ”Do you-” Wait. Where was he going?

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? He was going to leave HER with these things? She had no idea what half of them were, or why Professor Airey had them in the first place. Following him to his office door, she knocked. Surely he would want them back? Right.
