If you don’t like heights and speed and adrenaline, this ride is not for you. The aptly named “Hogwarts Plunge” is a waterslide of gargantuan dimensions. Higher than imaginable, alternating flashing colors of the four houses, and with rushing fresh water to take you down the slide, complete with exhilarating turns and drops, this waterslide has everything. At the bottom, after you’ve screamed your head off, you are deposited into a calm pool, which, if you continue along it, filters into a wading pool. Are you somewhat lacking in the ability to swim? Don’t worry! Although our prefects are not lifeguards, they have placed safety charms on the water so no harm will come of you!
Enjoy the slide, and watch out for any water that may (and will) be sprayed on you!
Cosgrach had a chance to nod at Zander before Airey happened: yes, they should have thought of a better system rather than just screaming.
Cosgrach WAS upset at his ruined suit, mind you. He just wasn't going to let it ruin his REVENGE. He could always dry the suit, but he could never splash water at Airey again. He rolled his eyes and grumbled under his breath at that toothy grin. Seriously, the acromantulas felt easier than this. As the astronut was talking to Leo over something he didn't know (but suspected was about his attire), he got out of the pool. Yes, he agreed with Cassie who had just taken the plunge (Yoongi's screaming aside, it DID look fun, especially after seeing Cassie's joy) - he did need to transform his robe into -
-___________- AGAIN!
Airey happened AGAIN.
Cosgrach was ready to glare (though anyone familiar with him enough would know he wasn't genuinely angry - it took much different things to make him angry) when he realised that the pool was too shallow and Airey had punished himself on his own. EheheHEHEHEHE. Did Airey hear it? HEHEHEHE. This was golden. He got his wand out and transfigured his dripping wet robe into a black swimsuit. It wasn't a perfect wandwork, the swimsuit was longer than it should be, but it would work. Next, his shoes were transformed into flip-flops and he was ready for the plunge. Then he shoved the wand back in the deeper-than-normal pocket of his long swimsuit.
"Come on, let's slide," he said to Airey and Marsha. Slides were good for sore bums, he'd heard. HEHEHE.
"I certainly will be," Javier nodded at Leo and Cassie. No use staying put here like a sitting goose, hehe. So Cossy was staying put, well alright then... it was too bad he didn't look behind him. That poor suit. Ahem. Now that Cassie and Airey have gone..
Oh yeah, he knew what Tobias was close to calling him, as he smiled warmly, "It's alright." But hey, there's an idea. "Well, what're we waiting for? Let's go down now." Why not, Javier was strong enough to handle one or two. If they so chose to, "Ready?"

Boy she sure seemed thirsty for some antagonising today, didn't she? Toby had been fine with the idea of casually splashing Zander on the way down, just for funsies, but the idea of a full-on water attack of those at the bottom of the slide made him a little uneasy. For reasons. Toby still was a little funny about teasing people or potentially angering them, and he didn't want to go there every again.
BUT... he didn't voice any of this, of course. Nope. None of it at all; he'd just go along with whatever, and use Javy as a human shield, as per usual. He was good for that.
SPEAKING OF WHICH. The big teddy bear professor was ALL SET to SLIDE. "Awesome!" Toby said with a grin, because he realised exactly what the man was saying. Without further ado he jumped onto Javy's back, clinging like a little spider monkey. "Ready!" And Soph? She was coming, yeah?
Human name, shmuman name. Sophie just playfully nudged the Hufflepuff as he argued with her, grinning all the while. She wanted to antagonize him further, but like... they had a JOB TO DO. A MISSION TO CARRY OUT.
Let's go down NOW, JAVY SAID! WHAT A MARVELOUS IDEA, JAVIER THOMPSON.
"I like the way you think, sir," Sophie chimed back brightly as Tobes climbed onto his dad's back, and... she snorted. "Buncha nerds, both of you. Look out, m'PAVIN' THE WAY. DON'T FORGET THE PLAN." Fully expecting them to follow her, Sophie jumped ahead of them and shot herself down the slide on her bum, arms up and THOROUGHLY enjoying herself the whole way down.
WATER SLIDES, MAN.
When she reached the bottom at full speed, Sophie PLUNKED into the water, then quickly gained her bearings and barreled straight at Zander, unable to suppress her childlike giggles as she dove at him and tried wrestling him down into the water. "GOT YOUUUU." Well... MAYBE.

Although....that would have been amusing, but the height of the slide gave her the heebie-jeebies she wouldn't do that to anyone. Well. Anyone she likes. Besides, Ruby might kill her if something happened to her boy-toy.
Grayson deadpanned at the girl's laughing before drawing himself up to his fullest height. "Who said anything about being scared? PSSSHHHH! You wish, Wayne!" He did end up smiling, though, because it was Bev. Hadn't seen her that much recently and all. "You don't scare your bodyguard."
'... my intention was never to push you over.'
Lulz. This was the moment the boy chose to look over the side of the plunge towards the very bottom and.......... lulz. Was it okay to swear? Who cared, he was gonna swear because look at the freaking HEIGHT. MAN. He turned back towards the Prefect and hesitated before saying, "We should slide down together."

Perhaps though, Hady was missing his point. "It wouldn't be practical to, but after class in the towers or even the sixth floor, it'd be handy." Of course, it would better serve the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws, not that he could see them utilising it as much if it were to happen... which of course it wouldn't. Professor's weren't in it to make school fun, they were in it to 'teach' them things. Sigh.
But all thoughts of that were forgotten when it was their turn again. And was she really asking if he was ready? BORN ready. "Let's do it." He got down into position, one hand holding to the side of the slide, keeping him from going down too early as he waited for Hady to take her position with him.
Somewhat possibly maybe kinda slightly fidgeting just a tad from foot to foot in excitement Hady attempted to wait patiently for their turn again. It was getting all that much more harder the closer they got to the front of the line for having already been down it once she knew what was in store.
"No. it wouldn't be 'practical' at all but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be loads of fun," she replied laughing. Cause really how wouldn't enjoy something like that even if it was only after lessons of weekends. It'd still make getting up early and sitting through lessons and doing all the homework and such not so bad. Just a little something to more to give them all some enjoyment and realize the stress and tension of everyday life.
Finally!
They had reached their turn and without any hesitation Zeke had sat down and was waiting for her. Noway would she be keeping him waiting! Hady grinned sitting herself down next to him and holding onto the side as well. "Ready." She announced once sat. Giving his hand one last squeeze in excitement unsure if the speed and water would cause her to let go before they hit the pool of water at the bottom. She then let go of the side she had been holding onto and began her quick decent down the slide a laugh of excitement coming from her lips.
Well OF COURSE it would be loads of fun. That was never in doubt, cause, really, what kind of person would think it to be NOT fun?.... never mind the people that might be scared or something like that. But they didn't count. Obviously.
But alas, who needed discussion when there was a slide to zip down? And speaking of zipping, he STILL had to go zip lining.
With Hady beside him, hands still together, Zeke squeezed back, knowing that they were about to let go... and so he did, perhaps a fraction of a second after Hady.
WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The rush the second time round was just as great as the first one, with sprays of water dancing across his line of sight. They'd managed to make it down most of the way until a slight jolt found his hand slipping out of hers, and before he knew it, he was crashing into the pool at the end.

Well, alright then. Javier chuckled as Miss Brown just about skipped over to slide down. He then saw the wave from another one of his students "Ah, good day Miss Hanover." Well, at least Cosgrach was finally joining the festivities as he had suited up.
Javier was now fit to go down with- oh, hello there. Not quite expecting to be climbed on, but it was fine. "Hang on tight now." Just be careful with the hair, ahem. And down they went as he let out a cheer.
Down, down, down before he slid sending a splash as he landed into the water.
Immediately, he stood up to wipe off his face. Now that was refreshing. Though the sight before him was another matter as he raised his brows at them, "Don't play too rough with each other Miss Brown and Mr. Adair." No use getting hurt so late in the term after everything, you know. As for Mr. Fuller-Thompson, "Ready to go again?" This was a blast.

That was fun.
There was no more room for talking. Before she knew it she was moving down the slippery sloop quickly the water spraying up around them and hitting her in the face. Her laughter was clear and nothing but enjoyment.
Hady wasn't sure how they'd managed to keep a hold of one anothers hands for as long as they did. They'd made it almost to the bottom before she felt his hand slip away and the next thing she knew she was hitting the pool of water below. Surfacing after only a moment she laughed pushing her wet hair from her face, her eyes scanning the pool just a second before spotting Zeke. Easily wadding through the water to him. "What's next? You can pick this time."
Fair was fair. It was his turn and she'd gladly follow along. Now though it was time to get out of the pool which she did easily enough by swimming to the side and climbing out knowing Zeke was right beside her.
Plan? What plan? There was a plan? TOBY DID NOT REMEMBER A PLAN.
But he could definitely hold on tight, yes. That was a thing he could do. Toby nodded even though Javy couldn't see him, and kept a tight grip before.
WOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOWOWOMG. This was SUPER COOL. Water slides and rides and stuff were awesome ANYWAY but this was just like extra cool. ALL THE LIGHTS. The colours. The thriiiiiiiill.
And then... SPLASH. And here they were at the bottom, and there was Soph tackling Zander, which Toby supposed must have been the mysterious plan she'd been on about. And javy was was straightening up and Toby realise he was still latched onto him. He let go for the moment and dropped down into the pool thing with another splash, glancing around at everyone and Soph and Zander before looking up at Javy with a smile.
"Absolutely," he replied, before quite enthusiastically shaking his head and spraying water everywhere because of his wet hair. Woah. Dizzy. "Let's do that!"

"Hey Marsha! Having a good time?" She'd be going up the slide soon, right? Because it was most definitely the best part of this entire event... And Zander wasn't just saying that 'cause he was biased or anything. But mostly he was. Because this was his post so he HAD to love it. And to think, he wanted to work the food station until he found out Sophie was going to work the slide. Speaking of which, she was taking an awfully long time to slide down it if that was her intention up there.
Not that he was complaining. He was enjoying the view.
Ahem. What? Culloden was getting out then? And O____O wearing his bathing suit?!? Ew. Merlin. If he knew the Professors were going to participate, Zander wouldn't vetoed the water park idea from the very beginning. But also.... Yeah, Professor C wasn't as hairy. Probably because he was so old. Um. Heh.
And Zander was clearly too shocked by the sight of Professor C's swim trunks to notice Sophie Brown sliding down at this very second. Well, he noticed once he was under attack. But at that point his head was being pushed under water so... Uh. First she showed up late. And then she was keeping him under water where he couldn't admire her smokin' hot body in a bathing suit. Worst day ever.
Well only slightly because as he finally kicked around and managed to get it above water again, he was sending lots of water her way. In the form of ultimate splashing. Hehe. You asked for it, Sophie Brown. Uh, did Thompson say something? Because Zander wasn't listening. He was too busy taking Sophie dooooooown. Figuratively and maybe now literally too. Oops?

Oh, someone was getting tall. Beverly did the same, though her back couldn't straighten more. Stupid height issues. She let out a soft laugh. "Oh Merlin, I apologiiiize." No...not really...at all. She thumped his arm. "Good. Bodyguards should be fearless." In her mind they were.
Waiiiiiiiiit.
He wanted them to slide down the humongous slide? Beverly cursed in her mind. If she refused would he be able to tell she was frightened of heights? She was no scardy kneazle either.
But...this was her last term. Probably the last exciting thing she'd ever do at Hogwarts. She eyed Grayson. "If I break a bone or something you'll have to answer to my dad." Just FYI. Time to show those body guarding skills, Whitlock.
"Hey Marsha! Having a good time?" She'd be going up the slide soon, right? Because it was most definitely the best part of this entire event... SHE GOT HIM.
Wrestling Zander Adair down into the water, she used ALL her (minimal) strength to dunk him under the water, but it was brief and soon he was EASILY overpowering her - but really, was there any plausible way that she'd ACTUALLY dunked him on her own? In the midst of their playful battling, she was KEENLY aware that he had totally probably LET her do that to him, but she kept putting up a good, feisty fight in trying to wrestle him back down once more, to no avail.
He was SPLASHING her lots, though, so she SPLASHED BACK, just in time to hear a reprimand from Javy. She spit out a mouthful of water (in Zander's direction) to respond, "Don't worry, professor, he LOVES it - don't you, Zanderpander?" As she teased him with the nickname, she sent the BIGGEST splash over toward her boyfriend and grinned challengingly.
