Once you've made your entrance, you can choose which table to sit at from the wide central walk space running up to the staff dais. The floor has been polished over the summer to a sheen so shiny that you can see your own appearance in it. Awesome!

That. Was. The. Last. STRAW.
The Headmistress had had it up to HERE with HOGWARTS. HERE being the top of her frizzy red head, where (unbeknownst to her) she still had a bit of sticky cobweb left over from her kidnapping. Marching straight through the entrance doors and into the Great Hall, Annie exhaustively threw open the double doors and continued on up to the dais, where she FLUNG herself into her throne chair.
Filling up the nearest goblet with water from her wand, Anastasia gulped down an entire cupful and then bellowed loudly, for all the gathered students and whoever else there,
"WHERE IS BOTROS?"
Somebody bring her the Deputy Headmaster. NOW. She started snapping her fingers at the nearest Gryffindor. "Bring the Deputy to me. NOW. PLEASE."
Anastasia Truebridge was NOT moving from this chair until the house elves cleaned this school FREE FROM ALL THE WEBS and also brought her dinner. And Botros. Botros first.

They made it back. THEY MADE IT BACK!! Cassie was starting to feel the shock of it all. Her actual brave self in front of the creepy crawling icks was now just a HOW DID I DO ThAT shock. "Annie, I mean Headmistress. Are you sure you are alright? We were so worried." She couldn't believe when Kate had told her that the headmistress was taken, but to find them all in those webs. She looked at the other students that had been brought back safely to. "Is everyone alright? " Did the hostages need Cece?
Oh goodness she turned back to the ones that had been so brave and stated snapping. It was now time to snap. They all did so brilliantly she was just so proud and full of so many emotions. "The charm, the snakeskin it all worked? Bravo" She was snapping again to anyone who would listen.

With Adi's help, Lux had made it back to Hogwarts. Honestly, she didn't think she would ever see the inside of the castle again. It was so hard to figure out her emotions because she was overwhelmed and didn't have much energy. Being stuck in a web for a week while hardly eating took a toll out on a person.
Instead of looking around at the other students, her focus was turned to the Headmistress.
Where WAS Professor Botros? Lux wanted her Head of House...but she also wanted the Healer. "I feel really tired and weak," she said in reply to Professor Cassie's question as she continued to lean against Adi. The escape and trek back to the castle had drained her of what little energy she had left.

Unfortunately for her, the seat she had chosen just happened to be near the staff table. And in the same general direction the Headmistress was pointing. Also unfortunately, this particular Gryffindor had had it up to here with Hogwarts at this point herself. So, she'd have to be excused for what came out of her mouth next. "GET HIM YOURSELF, TRUEBRIDGE!!!"
Oops?
Besides, she hadn’t seen said professor in awhile, so yeah. All she knew was that he was here. Or she thought he still was, anyway.
"By the way, you have web in your hair."

She didn't normally do so, but Heather joined in with Professor Cassie's snapping now. You know, since their own Headmistress wasn't sending them kudos. Really, everyone involved deserved it, risking their lives like that. Actually, what everyone deserved was a nice, large piece of chocolate cake. Or cheesecake. No, definitely chocolate.

Days of Potter 2023:___________________________ Which Bertie Botts Flavour Are You?
Well, that was...........he wasn't entirely sure what that was just yet.
Perhaps in a few days, it would sink into some sort of understandable memory. Something he could sort through and label. For now, he was interested in herding the remainder of the rescues and rescuers into the Great Hall, right behind the Headmistress and Cassie. The charm casters got an appreciative smile from him.
While the Headmistress got a long look from him as she plopped down, a smile playing on the corner of his lips. She looked in a right mood to hex someone, and yet he couldn't quite help it. "Didn't know you could be tied up, Truebridge."
As in, 'welcome back, glad you are safe'. Totally and completely what he meant.
The half smile showed it as he moved up beside Carrington, his attention diverting to the young woman. Laying a hand on her and Adi's shoulders, he couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards her state. Being back in the castle brought the fatigue full frontal, but there was still the residue of adrenaline that kept him at least outwardly composed.
"Best you get to seeing the Healer, Ms Carrington." He didn't need to ask Rehman to stay by the girl's side. It was a no-brainer. He understood it all too well.
Turning to the others joining them, he glanced over them all. "Good work you lot." His attention snagged on Cassie, and he gave her a nod of acknowledgement and if a nod could do such a thing, of thanks.
As for the Deupty Headmaster? Sabel glanced around. He had seen the chap in the Great Hall before they left. He was scanning the faces when his ears decided to yank his head in another direction.
"Xanthopoulos!" Sabel's tone came out as a snap. "I believe your hearing may have been damaged during the battle. Your words are coming out a bit....loud. Best if you get it check with the Healer as soon as possible." If the girl thought acromantula's were bad, she was about to be very mistaken by whatever response came from the Headmistress at such an address.

Reason: Didn't see Heather/Lazykitty's post *adds in* sorry :3
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Still supporting Lux and paying all his attention to her, Adi had failed to notice Truebridge taking up her position on her chair at the Staff table. He led Lux to at first stand next to Cassie but he thought of something. "You want to sit?'' Yeah, he had better help her sit because she was still leaning against him. The Hufflepuff suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder and looked around to see Dakest there. "Professor! You did a great job back in the Forest. Thanks for getting us out safe and everything.'' And yes, he would get the Healer. "I'll go get her.'' After that he needed to find AJ and Marsha.
Before Adi could move, there was shouting... from Truebridge. Slightly wide eyed in surprise, he turned in her direction. Uh oh. Was his Head of House in trouble? His eyes then darted to Heather. What, what, WHAT was up with her? But Dakest seemed to have had THAT issue under control so the sixth year strode off to find the Healer.
They were finally here back in the castle and safety!
Cosgrach flopped on one of the staff seats too, and he massaged the sides of his head. The charm team here had done an excellent job. He had to congratulate Piers for teaching the kids well, and Maddox, Sophia and anyone else who he couldn't remember now for their carrying it out. Not that they had any other chance, but still. A party was in order after this. A party and a loooong vacation with his family.
He had been sort of ready for Annie's order, but what took him off guard was that girl Heather. What--? He blinked and frowned at her. Good thing Sabel was on guard again and chastised her for it.
Henric was quiet the whole time as they went up to the castle, he tried not to look at the dead acromantulas littered along the entrance hall. Henric was still a fellow creature lover and it did pain him when he saw the massacre in front of him. He didn't know what to think or feel, he only felt sick in his stomach. He took a firm hold on llia's arm and helped her walked to the great hall. She was limping due to her injury on her leg but alive...yes..alive. His bestfriend was injured because he wasn't fast enough to protect her during the attack and he felt bad that he let it happened to her. He hoped all the other students who stayed behind were all safe and returning back now too."Please be over..."he thought to himself, his expression grim. He let his team to a nearby table so llia could take a seat."llia...seat here for awhile..."he muttered quietly to her. Henric turned to Sophie,"llia's leg is injured,I'll go find the healer...can you stay with her for awhile?"he asked the Ravenclaw a favour.

Zhenya was still walking around the Great Hall, trying to catch sight of any injuries or fainters, when a VERY LOUD shouting scared her almost from her skin. Headmistress Truebridge.
HEADMISTRESS?!
That meant!! The Search and rescue was a success! And then... Lux and Adi! Zhenya ran towards them.

"Lux!" Zhenya said, trying not to yell or frighten her friend. She pulled a goblet over, full of water, and handed it to her, then gave a smile to Adi. "Are you okay Adi? No injuries or anything?" she did a brief look head to feet of Adi to see if there were any obvious injuries.
She heard the tail end of a conversation, Luz saying she felt tired and weak. No surprise there. Zhenya's brow furrowed from concern. But she was safe, she was alive, she was out of the clutches of the Acromantulas. Zhenya swore to herself not to ask Lux to describe the terrible incident to her.
Did she need Healer Murdoch? "Healer Murdoch allocated the staff dais as the triage area. If you want to move over there, I can help you," she said to both Lux and Adi.

And then more people came in. Zhenya overheard someone say Ilia had injured her leg, and Zhenya went over to them. "Hi," she said gently, not wanting to use sudden voice or movement. "I'm just helping Healer Murdoch with some triage, we set up the staff dais for injuries. What happened?" She was totally fine if they wanted only Healer Murdoch, but if she could be of any assistance, Zhenya was there. Was it a bad injury? Would it require bandaging or anything until Healer Murdoch could heal it properly?

...What was that Gryffindor even doing?
Internally wincing, Lux prepared herself for a retort from the Headmistress, but looked like Professor Dakest was on top of things. She gave a small smile as he placed a hand on her shoulder. What a good man. "I will do, Professor." It was the immediate plan because goodness knows she needed to be looked after immediately. And maybe someone could Obliviate her while they were at it.
...
.......
.............
Adi was going to leave her to get Murdoch????
NOOOOOOOO. He was supposed to STAY HERE. Lux needed him right now for emotional and physical support. Goodness knows what would happen if he left, though she had a feeling it would be crying. Her boyfriend wasn't here no matter how much she wanted him, but she had her best friend. She also wanted Cinna. She must be somewhere around here...
Before she could open her mouth to respond to Adi's statement, Zhenya had rushed over. Boy was Lux glad to see her. "Thanks," she said as she took the offered goblet. It was the best drink of water she ever had. AND Zhenya was offering to help! There was no way Lux was going to refuse. "Sounds good to me." Especially if food and a potion to help her sleep was involved. All she needed was Adi to help her get to where she needed to be.
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Yoongi entered the Great Hall after the other students, his uniform was torn a bit from the branches of the forest , there were smudges of dirt on it and his usually black hair had webs in it. He tried to clean his hair with a free hand, the other still held his wand. Despite being really good at charms, Yoongi did not dare to use a spell on himself yet.
He ruffled his hair, it stuck out in every direction now but the webs were gone. He looked around now and saw the Headmistress, or rather heard her, shouting for Professor Botros. He then cringed as one of the Gryffindors decided that this was the right time to shout back at her. Oh merlin, there went their points.
As the others were near each other, Yoongi walked away to sit alone at the table. He was glad that everyone was alright of course, but he felt a pang of jealousy. No one had said a thank you to him, not even the one he had rescued. 'I got it' had been the only thing he had gotten. He thought about throwing them back in the forest. He laughed at this, silently and then felt digusted of himself for even finding that funny.
He grabbed an empty goblet and pointed his wand at it. Using the aguamenti charm, he watched it fill with water and drank from it.

To be honest, Jackson was a little terrified when he decided to step up being the rescue team. But he did, and he was glad that he could rescue Noel Wallace along with Benzi and the others too. Following the other rescue team, the Korean guy walked in to the Great Hall still in one piece. Thank Merlin he didn't have any injuries at all. All of them, thr rescue team and the kidnapped people were back alive.
Woah, he still couldn't believe that he did it! He cannot wait to tell this to Micky and he's gonna envy with him that he could enter the forbidden forest and faced the acromantulas.

He was here! Botros filed in with the rest of the crowd into the Great Hall, he had twigs and leaves on his cardigan and previously-perfect pants. His cane had its share of those sticky cobwebs as well as the bald part of his head. He shuffled in, looking around him for any sign of injured students that weren't being looked after. He heard the headmistress shouting before he walked in but he couldn't make up what she said, so he didn't pay attention. He kept moving between tables and students, up until a girl shouted at her own headmistress...????
Botros was angry, he marched up to the dais intending to take a bunch of nice points from her for her pure rudeness, but saw that professor Dakest was talking to her so he let it go.
"Annie, dear, you look," he reached up and tried to brush off the cobweb on her hair. Unsuccessfully. "Thrilled," maybe? Botros smiled at professor Cassie nearby, too.

Maggie didn't exactly comment on what she'd said earlier and that was fine by her. They could move on with all this. Whatever this was. Confusion! Yeah it finally occurred to her that this was confusion. None of it made any sense. Especially when Maggie moved closer to Zeke and thanked him. The blonde thanked him. Zeke. What the heck was going on here? Something strange because then Maggie also went and kissed his cheek. Hady was beyond confused but she managed to keep a straight face not letting anything show. Seriously though had Maggie been bitten by something and she was confused? Cause the girl just didn't seem like herself right now.
And then to make things more complicated it was suggested that Zeke protect her. Hady! No. Just no. She did not need protection. She was way more then capable to handle herself thank you very much. Tucking a strand of hair behind her ear Hady focused herself not to glare in Maggie's direction, rather she just looked away from them both for a moment.
Hady wasn't being helpful at all, because it seemed she wasn't able to supply him with any form of explanation for what had just happened. Zeke supposed that was okay, maybe she was just as confused?
Raising a hand subconsciously and rubbing the scruff of his neck, Zeke exhaled the breath he somehow seemed to be holding, and took a moment to look back at the door. He really wasn't concerned anymore, but he WAS wondering when and if the others were coming back. He hoped they were coming back.
It seemed as though his silent questions were being answered, because in second the Headmistress had BURST through the doors... and was YELLING ... LOUDLY.

There was no doubt that the Headmistress had an excuse to look like a loud Hag, but did she really have to sound like one too? And WHY was she yelling for Professor Botros like that?
...
A part of him hoped Professor Botros had sense enough to stay wherever he was, because he couldn't see anything NICE coming from this. Redheads had a special way of looking crazy with hair like that.
On top of that, there was Heather, and though her yelling was unnecessary and even rude, it earned a snort from him.... because only a Gryffindor would be brave enough - or thick enough - to come out with a response like that. Hehe. And Sabel's quick quip was just as amusing.

Zeke looked back to Hady, and then back to adults. This might be interesting?
Angel was glad to see that everyone had made it out of the forest alive, well it seemed that way anyway though the headmistress seemed to be shouting really loud and a Gryffindor was shouting back. Angel looked a bit nervous as she waited to see what the Headmistress said back.
Angel would ask Lux, the DADA Professor and everyone else if they were okay later on, when she knew it was safe to move a muscle, she then saw the Deputy Headmaster was here and she smiled this was going to be interesting.

Swift, but careful. That was how Mordred trekked from the edge of the Forbidden Forest back to the castle. He paused halfway to shift the passed out shopkeeper (Maisie) who was slumped on his shoulder, and carried her in his arms until they reached the Great Hall. She’s not a rag doll after all. Walking past the students that was gathered near the front of the Entrance, the young adult wasted no time to head for the dais where most of the rescuers stood. Shifting the woman’s body for the last time, he immediately approached the young lady (Zhenya) sporting a set of Slytherin uniform. “Get the Healer, quickly.”
Mordred followed the Hufflepuff girl toward the dais, and chose a spot where the shopkeeper can breathe some clean air, and rest comfortably. She must’ve gone through a tough ordeal, seeing that she already passed out even before the acromantulas decided to snap on the other professor’s wand arm. Taking the shopkeeper behind the staff’s dais, Mordred gently lowered her down on the floor and waited for the Healer to come.
As he did so, Mordred rolled his left shoulder and gently massaged the back of his neck contemplating whether or not it was too early to ask Harmony for a raise. He was hired in the Ministry to research about dragons, and not save some pathetic lifeform. That was, afterall, a Gryffindor’s job, yes?

Zeke looked back to Hady, and then back to adults. This might be interesting?
Exhaling slowly through her mouth and taking a minute to clear her mind of whatever the heck had just happened Hady turned her attention back to Zeke. Slowly a small grin formed on her face as she choose to speak. "What in the name of all things that actually make SENSE was that?" She asked raising an eyebrow in question a look of really confusion and maybe a hint of curiosity in her eyes. "Did I miss something between the two of you?" Her eyes shifted from him to where Maggie had gone off to then back again.
Watching Zeke rub his neck a moment Hady straightened up and gave him a look of all seriousness. "Oh and just for the record in case you didn't already know, I'm very much able to take care of myself. No protection needed." This might have been said with a straight face and serious tone but she knew he'd know she was somewhat teasing. In her mind Zeke never protected her, he just always had her back. That was completely different and totally good with her. She'd always have his back as well.
Just as she was waiting for his reply she followed his gaze to the doorway just in time to see it BURST open and the Headmistress to barge through....screaming! Ouch! Hady involuntarily flinched at the yelling but a small grin came across her face knowing that the lady was safe! Trying not to focus on all the noise she looked past the red head towards the doors her grin widening when she also spotted Adi, Lux, Angel and several others all come in!
A small feeling of relief spread through the third year just knowing that so far it appeared that everyone was safe. Loud, scared, unhappy and probably going out of their minds but still safe. Slowly her eyes went back to her bestie beside her to see what he was making of all of this.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Ahhh! Maisie! She was still out cold. "Will she be okay? Did the spiders get her?'' Adi fired the questions to the man (Mordred) who seemed to be in charge of getting the shopkeeper back there to the Great Hall.
Adi had not missed Ilia and Henric too. "You two alright?" He gave Ilia a hug and then one to Henric. Henny was safe, yo! And so were Culloden and Yoongi. He flashed the two a small smile and beckoned Yoongi over. Why was he so far off? Then he was being distracted by Zhenya. Oh goody! She was safe too! Did that mean everyone was okay? He still didn't see AJ and Marsha. "I'm okay. Aren't I your tough buddy?" Adi grinned but now that she had mentioned it, he realised his head was pounding. Heh. In all the fuss, he hadn't realised. He had actually walked off before he heard what was said by his Snake friend.
"She did? That's a good idea on her part.'' The Hufflepuff went back over to Lux. He frowned at the panicked look on her face. Was it caused by him about to leave her? "I'm here.'' He hugged her again, mentally cursing the spiders with colourful vocabulary. "You ready?'' Had she drunk enough water? Adi was ready to help her get to the Healer with Zhenya's help.

LOUDLY.
....
Truth be told, he was pleased to see the troops were back in one piece, or at least, he couldn't SEE any pieces missing.
..
And there was Botros!!!!! .... he wasn't hiding...

When Hady eventually DID speak, it was confirmed that she too was confused about the events that they had experienced. But in answering her question, WHAT was that? ... he didn't know. A shrug was all he could manage to communicate this, because it seemed words were still alluding him. But when Hady pressed him with another question, and a look to boot, words did form and they fell from his lips. "No.... no..."
DID she miss something between him and Maggie? Technically she had missed their conversation, if you could even call it that. But had she REALLY missed anything between them? No.
"Is she always like that?" he asked, because really, he needed SOMETHING confirmed. "Kinda weird, but in her own way?" And intense. She felt intense. Intense was the word.
And speaking of intense, Hady too had her moments. "I know... but you can't stop me from trying," he shrugged, wrapping an arm around her neck and pulling her into a noogie for the fun of it.
But whoa. Whoa. Zeke dropped his arm from Hady, his eyes on the people filling the hall.
People were here, and they were fine, or at least mostly fine. This was good. 'Cept for the lady that looked to be passed out. Not dead though, he hoped.

A shrug.
That was the reply Hady had gotten to her question. Which left her with only one theory on that. Zeke had no idea what that had been about either. At least that made two of them. His next answer though kinda puzzled her. He quickly gave a 'no' response that she hadn't indeed missed anything but then he seemed to hesitate. Was he confused on what she had meant?
Before she could clarify her meaning he came at her with some questions that made her want to laugh. Hady shifted from foot to foot as she eyed him a second. "I guess you can say that." She could've said more but knowing how many people were now in the Great Hall kept her from doing so. If Zeke really wanted to know more about Maggie and her 'behavior' he was more then welcome to ask her when no one else was around.
And before she knew it she was being attacked! Okay well not so much attacked but more of a playful attack. Laughing Hady pushed him away playfully with a roll of her eyes. "Yeah but I more think of it as having each other backs. Not you protecting me." Running a hand through her now semi messed up hair, thanks Zeke for that, she gave him a grin before looking at everyone else.
Running faster then she ever had in her life. She skidded into the great hall. Completely out of breath, she found a spot in the floor and laid there. Looking up at the ceiling. One of the things that a couple times through of all of this she didn't think that she would ever see again. She wanted to go find Bart and Emmy. She needed to lay there, and absorb her freedom. Hearing Professor Cassie ask if everyone was okay. "I'm fine." Well psychically she was or she thought she was. "I'm just tired and have a huge headache." Mentally, well she's tramatized for life probably.
And a screaming Heather was NOT helping her headache. Yes Truebridge was also yelling but she was also in the web with her. She would be yelling too. Throwing her hands over face. She want to tell the Gryffindor to shut up, she was lucky she was too tired do so. She sit up and sent heather a glare. She almost died out there. But Dakest reply to the yelling was perfect. Even more satisfying than telling her to shush herself.
She was NOT seeing a healer. Thank you. Feeling that Lux, the shopkeeper, and princess loud mouth needed the healers more than she did. She could get a potion for the headache and for being tired.

THEY WERE BACK!
Marsha’s eyes went wide and she moved to step back as she told Xandra that they were all coming back now. She listed off names as she saw more and more people coming back into the hall; the Headmistres, Xander, Yoongi! Noel and Benny and Benzi and Adi! Her heart was beating at what felt like ten thousand beats a minute as she counted and recounted the faces of her family and friends.
She tried not to run at them all instantly, but hugged Benny and Logan as they came over to her and Xandra to check in with them. She would find and hug Benzi, Hayley and Noel later - right now they likely needed time to just HUG each other and be happy they were alive.
However, she did spot Yoongi moving to sit at their house table by himself. What? Why?
She gave a quick wave to those she was with before she ran - she didn’t care about the rules right now - through the hall, weaving through the other students collecting there… right until she got to Yoongi where she wrapped her arms around his neck. Leaning on his back, she said softly in his ear; ”I’m really glad you made it back safe.” Yup. Yup she was.
Moving, she sat down next to him and smiled up at him. ”Are you okay? You didn’t get hurt… right?”
A path is not simply for walking, its purpose lies in moving forward and improving oneself.
Still feeling disgusted of himself for thinking what he thought earlier, Yoongi wanted to get up and leave the Great Hall. Taking a hot bath was something he wanted to do very much right now. But he knew that he couldn’t just leave. He sighed after emptying his goblet of water and used the charm again to refill it.
Before he could take a sip of it, he felt arms wrap around his neck and someone leaning against his back. The goblet slipped out of his grasp and fell on the table, the water spilled over the wooden surface. He waved his wand, cleaning the water off the table as Marsha sat down next to him.
Her concern made him feel even more worse for what he thought earlier. He couldn’t help it though, he was easily jealous. ”Ah, yeah…I’m fine” he answered and then felt like he should elaborate his answer. ”Just some scratches from the branches, my hair is a distaster though and i need a shower” he said, showing her his torn sleeve. ”thanks for ..you know..being concerned” he smiled. It would have been very childish to say that no one else cared. ”how are you? What happened here?”
Then he saw the Ministry worker carrying Maisie in to the Great Hall. ”She’s still unconscious?” he asked , rolling his eyes at Marsha. ”I don’t know what happened to her but she fainted even before we entered the space where the hostages were, heart of a lion that one” he very wisely did not mention that he had fallen down on his behind when adi had bumped against his side, how he had shrieked in fear when the spiders were getting ready for another attack. Nah, who needed that detail?
His gaze went away from the Ministry employee and the Shopkeeper and then landed on Adi. He saw that he was beckoning him to stand with them and he scratched the back of his head. Oh…alright… He turned to Marsha. ”Come on, Adi is calling us” he said and got up from the place he sat and walked towards the Hufflepuff Prefect. ”What?” he asked.
Noel never thought he'd be this happy to be in the great hall. NEVER. A little out of breath but so ALIVE the fifth year jumped on Benzi as soon as they were safely inside. THEY MADE IT.
Hugging his best friend oh so tightly, Noel decided to not let go. Oh yes. He had not died and he was alive, so he was going to hug.
He needed to hug everyone he cared about until they couldn't breathe.
...
He did not care about the commotion or raised voices in the hall, he was just hugging his best friend. That is all.

Was she alright? "Do I LOOK alright?" the Headmistress leaned toward Cassie with a half-crazy glare, half-exhausted stare. She didn't mean to snap at the... well, snapping professor, she was just really, really tired. "I think we need some food for the search party and the rescued, do you think you can make that happen?"

"---" WELL. Thank GOODNESS for Dakest.
And did she really have web in her hair? Annie nervously patted the back of her head, her hand just narrowly missing the remaining web as she side-eyed Sabel.
"I wasn't caught," the Headmistress sniffed imperiously. "I was just detained was all." And, by the by, "thank you," she added in a smaller voice. "Thank you all for not forgetting about us."

He heard the headmistress shouting before he walked in but he couldn't make up what she said, so he didn't pay attention.
Speaking of forgetting, and being forgetful.... where had Abraham been? "Professor," she sighed as he reached out for her, mistaking his hand for something like a hug. She pat-patted his arm and tugged him over to sit. "I..." suddenly the words weren't coming. "I have to talk to you." NOW. Now, before she lost the courage!
Also, "Cassie," Annie leaned around Botros to look at her, "is the food coming?"
