As much as Cinna wanted to believe that the headmistress had things under control. She couldn't. As much as she hated to admit it. Right now the hairy legs where in control. Not a good thing for the ones who were in the web. Right now she had more faith that some students and staff would come bursting through the forest right about now.

Was this it? The spiders were going to eat them. Then the rest of the school. Yep. This was how it was going down. Mother hairy legs was upset because she lost her love. "That's what this is all about?" Unbelievable! Where were the other changing through and taking out the herd of spider? Revenge all of this was for revenge. Well they were doomed now. Love is the greatest motivation for revenge.

No she still was going down this way. Watching as the mothers children were heading back to the school to eat. The sixth year tried again wiggling her arms to try to break free. That little glimmer of hope that the others at school would crash this dinner party just ran back it to the school. They were doomed there. They were all doomed. Those spiders had there 'mother's' permission to eat everyone and take over the castle. The five of them in web were going to be dessert. Or mothers dinner.

Somebody needed to cast Silencio on that Slytherin ASAP. Where was Kurumi Hollingberry when you needed her....

Rolling her eyes and using her wand arm as subtly as possible, the headmistress began using diffindo to weaken strategic parts of the web in which they were ensnared; specifically, the parts where the web connected to nearby trees like a hammock. She had a very convincing listening face on as the spider revealed her dramatic plan and then set her henchspiders loose, but really.... this redhead was not impressed.

"Excuse you, but I allowed you to capture me," the Headmistress spoke up when it was her turn. "You might think you spiders have the upper hand, but Hogwarts will withstand any number of arachnids you try to throw our way. You think you're the first ones to attempt a takeover of that castle?" She threw her head back and laughed dramatically. "I've bested unruly merpeople, plant-possessing demons, ridiculous werewolves, an eternal winter, and a horde of dementors.... and you think a few spiders are going to be the end of me?"

Bunz cackled proudly again, doing her best to shake the web with her laughter so the students would see how weak it was becoming... or how weak they could make it. ESCAPE WAS THEIRS!!!! Just... not yet. Patience!

"All I have to say is GOOD LUCK and sorry but not sorry about the death of your mate. You took one of our kind too, you know." RIP Gregoire. *moment of silence* "No offense to your great plan or anything but... we knew you were coming. We saw your messy webs all over everything. Our only mistake was giving you a chance to end spider-nonsense before it's too late." With hindsight being 20/20, she might as well ACT like she knew everything all along. "We've been prepared for something like this since day one of the school year. You might have a billion and one offspring to do your bidding, but your plan has one biiiiiiiiiiig hole in it, Mother Spider."

It was getting on her nerves. Lux was trying so hard not to glare right now. She was happy that everyone seemed to be okay, but the more this girl sass talked, the less time they had left on this earth.

Dying was NOT on her agenda for today tyvm.

Taking deep breaths in an attempt to calm down, Lux felt wave after wave of terror. Her heart felt like it was going to beat out of her chest at any moment. Geeze, why hadn't she listened to the Headmistress with her whole CONSTANT VIGILANCE thing??? ... Not that it had really helped the woman either, because well...look where she was now.

Working her hardest to break free, she listened to the conversation around her. So it was all about losing her true love. Well, Lux would have felt sorry for the mama spider if she wasn't trying to EAT THEM.

Ugh, why weren't her bindings coming loose?? Curse not having a wand.

It wasn't exactly easy, getting through the entrance hall and to the forest. As much as they had tried to stick to the walls and the shadows, the acromantulas were everywhere. It was similar to walk-running through a hairy, crowded forest where all the trees kept moving. And trees had never been frightening to him, until today.

At any moment, there had been the chance that one, or several, of the spiders could have caught wind of them and the disillusionment blanket would have done little to help them. Thankfully, Quigley and the charmers had done a superb job. The spiders, had hardly twitched a hair towards their little group, and soon enough they were out in the cool air.

There were still spiders aplenty, but there was more room to move around them, to head in a line towards the forest that wasn't so close to them. And so they had.

Once at the edge of the forest, Sabel stopped, catching his breath as he turned and for the hundredth time since they had left the Great Hall, accounted for everyone. Thankfully, there would be no need for a secondary search and rescue mission. Everyone was here.

"Everyone okay?" That, was a different story all-together. Ok. Such a subjective term, so loosely applied and interpreted. But there was no time for having a heart-to-heart with anyone. That would be for later. For after. When they weren't standing in the shadow of the Forbidden Forest, at the edge of the Age Line.

Okay... so Adi was glad THAT was over with. He had tried his best to follow Dakest as he stuck close to Yoongi but he had to focus all his attention on being silent because those drated spiders were EVERYWHERE. Yep, he had resisted the urge to blast them or set them on fire. Just barely. At least the group had the protection of the Charms to help them along.

The sixth year confirmed his well being in a low voice but loud enough for Dakest to hear. He was eyeing that spot where he knew the age line stood. It wouldn't be the first time he encountered the annoying thing. Even though he was of age it had refused to let him further into the Forest. Surely one of these adults had a plan to get the students through? Or better yet, make the entire Line go away.

Help was on the way Lux, Ilia and you others.

Glad that Culloden and Dakest let him to join and hopefully give some help. Maybe the Ravenclaw guy (Benzi) wasn't really comfortable working with him because... Hey, they'd never known each other before. Also, the Slytherin guy who was taken by healer Murdoch seemed like his friend or something so Jackson was kinda... replacing him. But rescuing the kidnapped people trumped the tension and personal issue between them. As far as he knew, the Professor called him Benzi. At least he knew his name now. No need to waste time to introduce himself to Benzi because now the top priority is this mission. He was kinda relieved when Dakest said that there's no time to pick up the broomsticks because he hates flying.

The Korean boy listened to the DADA professor carefully then followed him to the Forbidden forest and stuck together with the team. This was the first time he came to this place because he was new and also he's not that reckless entering the most dangerous place in Hogwarts even he's a Gryffindor. Thankfully their journey from the Great Hall seemed... smooth. Yeah, smooth. "I'm fine, sir." He answered in low voice, more like whispering once they have stopped at the age line. He gripped his wand firmly and waited for the next instruction.

Henric was thankful that professor Dakest let him go with them, now his only main concern was to cleverly sneaked past without the spiders scent on them. He quietly followed behind, glancing back at Sophie once more before proceeding to move forward with the group. Bandaged arm or not, he was determined to find llia and the rest of his fellow schoolmates. Of course, he didn't forget the headmistress too.

He looked around his surroundings, he had never been to this part of the grounds before. It was FORBIDDEN to step foot in here. Hence, the infamous name. Henric never once thought of venturing anywhere near here, after all the stories and tragic things happened in there..who would? But he wasn't going to back out now, he even talked back to the creature ministry man and pleaded Dakest so he could go with them. What was the ministry bloke name again? Anyway, it wasn't the time to think about that because the group had finally came to a stop. The age line they were talking about, would they be able to go through?

Henric nodded along with the others to say that he was fine as well but still he remained quiet. Too much noise could attract unwanted visitors in the mist. He heard about the centaurs in this area, he heard they weren't a friendly bunch of magical creatures as well. Should they be concern with them too?

If he thought that getting out of the castle was hard enough he didn't want to think of how it would be to get in to the lair of the spiders. He didn't think too much about it though as he sneaked along side the walls and shadows while staying close to his buddy Adi. They couldn't have gotten out of the castle without Professor Quigley's and his students help though and once they were outside it had been a bit easier to move to the Forbidden forrest.

The Gryffindor had looked around at the many, MANY spiders at the castle and wondered if their little search and rescue would become easier in the forrest since all the spiders seemed to be at the school. He didn't voice his thoughts though..

"I'm alive" Yoongi said to the Professor as a sign of being okay but he was eyeing the forbidden forrest like he had doubts about this. But then one glance towards the others and he got his courage back.

Well. Okay. ... Phew.

Shame they hadn't summoned brooms sooner. He'd be bitter about it if he thought it would help him, but Benzi had decided to put his idea to rest the second they'd slipped out of the Great Hall. He might have thought about it once more as they ran across the grounds, but he wasn't bitter. He'd even gotten a little praise out of Dakest which was a good thing in the grand scheme of things.

No, Benzi was bitter about Cutty. He didn't know this Jackson guy at ALL, and the entire way down from the castle he'd kept one eye on the way and one eye on Jackson, trying and failing to assess the kind of person he was. Kind of difficult to read a personality when running and following spider juice. Venom. Whatever. Point was, he wished Cutty were here. Might make this entire situation a little less terrible.

Coming to a halt at (presumably) where the age line was, Benzi peered into the dark forest. He'd never been here before, not since he'd been a nosy little first year. He moved to stand on Jackson's other side and shifted his grip on his wand to stretch out his fingers, straining to hear anything beyond their group.

Noel was in there. IN THERE. With those bloody terrifying spiders. No, Professor Dakest, he wasn't OKAY. He needed to get his friend and get the hell out of here as quickly as humanly possible. Preferably quicker. Nevertheless, Benzi's mouth stretched into a grim line and he nodded at the Professor. "Still in one piece, sir." And not spider food.

"I'm Benzi Rider, by the way," he half whispered to Jackson as an afterthought. Might as well while they waited for the ministry guy to get to it and track the spiders' venom into the forest. "I'd say it's nice to meet you but. . ." yeah, hopefully no explanation necessary. His best friend was in there. They needed to go NOW.

Leo wasn't exactly sure how they had managed to get out of the Great Hall unnoticed. Yes they had been under the disillusionment blanket but he had been very wary of the acromantulas as they sneaked out. They had been everywhere and one wrong move or sound could have blown their cover. Thankfully they had passed by the spiders made it out of the castle without a horde of spiders on their tail. Leo knew that was because of the work Maddox group was performing in the entrance hall. In order to succeed they had to work as a team.

The number of spiders on the grounds were thankfully not as many as the horde inside the castle and thus they could moved around them to get to the castle. That they were still covered by the blanket didn't mean that Leo wasn't keeping his eyes and ears peeled open for spider attacks and gripping his wand tightly.

When they stopped on the edge of the forest, Leo did a silent head count. They had thank Merlin not lost anyone on the way. He let his glance pass over everyone lingering longest on Cassie of course before he said quietly with a look towards Sabel. "I'm all right. We need to blast a hole in the age line right? It might get a bit noisy and attract the spiders." So much for the BoG people's work to put up a stronger one. It'd be damaged now.

Sweet Merlin.

Sophie Brown wasn't afraid of acromantulas at face value, but when it came to the task of sneaking by them and hoping that the charm would hold up well enough for them to make it there unscathed... THAT was taxing on her stability. But she stayed close to Henric and Culloden as they went, kept her wand tightly gripped in her hand, and calculated every possible spell she could think of that could be useful if things took a bad turn. She planned where she would go, what she would do, how she would make sure Henric would be safe, too - but luckily, they made it to the age line without tragedy striking. She was very, very grateful for that.

At Dakest's question, Sophie first looked over Henric to make sure he seemed to still be okay, then Culloden got concerned looks from her, too, but soon enough she was nodding her own affirmation at the professor as she worked on steadying her heart rate and breathing. "Never better." Mostly sarcastic, but this was also... pretty exhilarating, wasn't it? The adrenaline coursing through her veins, the heat on her cheeks from all the hurrying and excitement - it was pretty fantastic, actually, and she THRIVED on this kind of adventure. There was real danger, but somehow, it was just fueling her energy right now.

The trouble of the age line before them was something a bit discouraging - even though she WAS of age, she knew from the hippogriff-groundskeeper debacle that it still didn't want to let her inside because she was a student, so she looked to the non-student adults for guidance in how to take it down. What did they do now, hm?

The good thing about aurors was that they really made sure no one attacked them from behind, so Cosgrach was actually calm once they were out of the Great Hall. He wasn't a fan of Sabel, but he trusted the guy that much and he did bring everyone intact to the edge of the forest. All they had to do now was getting rid of the age line so he looked at his colleagues and raised his wand to contribute to the un-making of it without any more words. Funny how he became so silent when dealing with such important things...

"Most of themseemed to be in the castle," he murmured at Leo. Let's do it, then.

Hopefully, the acromantulas hadn't taken the hostages too deep...

"Yeah. I'm alright." Cutty answered casually from the back. His attention was focused behind them the entire time as he brought up the rear. Truth be told he was rather enjoying this whole affair. True Bastion had expired prematurely, but it wasn't gonna be for nothing if they secured the forest that night. And all that crape aside he'd never felt so alive for one walking into a death trap.

If there was think she was good at it was moving quickly in heels. The five foot blonde was great at it to be honest. So moving through the spiders and only almost running straight into one was good in her book. Now that the group had stopped she stood a bit away from them. She needed to think or more listen. She had to get the castle out of her head and focus fully on the forest. She stood just staring for a few moments.

Finally she moved towards the group and lifted her wand, some might have thought she was pointing towards them but soon she flicked at the forest. A popping noise was all that indicated something happened. "I sense they are in the very middle of the forest. We need to head this way."

Lighting her wand she started in. "Everyone remember Professor Dakest plan, he is the expert in rescue here." She could sense the spiders so she was trying to give her part, but he was the full expert on the search and rescue things. She turned back towards the forest and started quickly in going more and more towards the middle.

It hadn't been easy. Even though he was a dragon specialist, and he had faced worst of the injuries - he was still edgy about this mission. Because it wasn't just him at risk today, there were children involved. He just hoped they weren't too late.

Careful as ever, and wand at the ready, Cole followed along with their group. He silently praised the staff for doing an excellent job at the disillusionment charm. There were times, Cole had been ready to blast away the acromantuals as they moved passed them - thinking they were caught but nope. They were safe.

Once at the edge of the forest, Cole gave Dakest a nod at his question. An answer to not just everybody being okay, but also to assure they were all here. Time and time again, his eyes had moved over the heads moving toward the forest to keep a mental count.

While Kitridge and Cosgrach proceeded with the plan to blast a hole in the ground because of the age line, Cole's trained eyes moved toward the ground. Waving his wand in an 'S', the senior dragon restraint officer quietly looked for the trail that would lead them to the victims. As expected, the acromantualas' venom was there and very fresh. Under the light glow of his wand, Cole moved a few steps ahead to make sure there was a trail to follow. When one of the staffers spoke up, Cole looked back at Dakest and nodded. "I found a trail of their venom as well, it's fresh" He gestured at it on the ground, under the light of his wand. "We can follow it, but we need to hurry" Since the venom was everywhere, it was vital they moved before it got old and they got lost.

Bright eyed and bushy-tailed, but okay. That seemed to be the general consensus, so long as one didn't look too closely at the eyes or the way the children gripped their wands. And that, was enough for now. No sense in focusing on the worries or the fears. They were here, they would move forward.

His attention caught on Cutty, who's voice startled him somewhat. Looking back on memory, he recalled seeing the boy with the group as they left the castle, but he hadn't thought much of it. Now that they were at least temporarily out of imminent danger, the boy's presence was a good shock to the system. Surely Cece hadn't just let him go?

Shaking his head, Sabel let out a breath. A half-response to Brown's chosen line of humor. But there was no point in addressing little else but to the problem at hand. Sabel watched as Cassie drifted off from the group, and Leo and Cosgrach went to the age line with Leo. He gave his colleagues a shrug of his shoulders. "Doesn't seem like there's much else for it. Can't go around." If there even was a 'round.

And no sooner had that been started, than Cassie was returning with a proposed direction and Cole was confirming it with signs of the spider venom. While Sabel moved over to have a check as to what the Creature's man was talking about, he felt the shift in the air around them. A signal to the fact that something had changed. Given Cassie was moving through the Age Line, and beckoning the others to follow, he had little question as to what.

Straightening, Sabel clapped Cole on the shoulder and nodded to Leo, Cosgrach and the Divination Professor. "Nice work. Cole, we'll follow you and Professor Morgan." His gaze went to the students briefly. "Same as before, keep together and keep your eyes open. Mordaunt, you're with me."

Given they were now out a pair, and he wouldn't let Cece's wrath fall on anyone else for allowing the kid to be here, let alone if something happened.....nothing was going to happen to them. To any of them.

Falling in step beside the children, Sabel started through the age line and into the forest behind the others. It was an eerie of a place as ever, made even more so by the promise of moving directly towards what would likely be a mass of eight legged creatures. And who knew what they would find of the students, of the Headmistress? That thought, more than the atmosphere in the forest, chilled him to the bone, but at the same time, it barely registered. His hand was steady, his breathing even, and his senses alert.

An autopilot mentality created by training and need. Need to protect those around them. To rescue those ahead of them. To not allow any one of them to end up like the poor creatures that were caught lifeless in webs above and then around them, thickening in density and strength with every step, even as the trees grew taller, broader and closer. Cole's venom trail and Cassie's intuition, were proving spot on.

Sticking very close behind the two leaders so she could admire them, the shopkeeper remained very quiet aside from continuing to cast what concealment charms she could on the fly to herself and those around her. Her appearance more disheveled than before, her breaths were low and shaky. Battling hordes of acromantulas twice in in less than an hour was certainly not something she was used to on a daily basis.

Her nose curled up in disgust at the sight of the venom trail and her body gave an involuntary shudder. "C'est dégoûtant," she muttered under her breath. "And such zee waste too."

Maisie wasn't just skilled at mixing chocolate, you see.

Crossing over the boundary into the forest, Maisie lit her wand and then grabbed the hand of the nearest person to help lead them through the forest.

"Do you zink zere may be an ambush?"

Were acromantula clever enough for such a thing? The red head instantly began scanning the trees above as they moved.

Adi was startled to hear Cutty. His eyes darted to his friend. Obviously he had given the Healer the slip. Good old Cutty. What was that Cassie was saying? She sensed them? Cool! Adi trusted the woman and her senses so if she said they were close, then they were. And ugh! Spider venom. Bleh. Those must be as bad as the webs he hated so much.

"Got it,'' Adi told Dakest. No need to tell him twice about sticking together. If they divided up, the spiders would have an easier time conquering them. Suddenly Adi felt something touching him. AAAH! A SPIDER! He jerked away, colliding with Yoongi but the thing had a good grip on his hand. Looking down and trying not to loose his head, he saw it was only Maisie holding him. Oh. What a relief! And the pretty lady was holding his hand. Waaaah!

No time to dwell on this development though as she was pulling him into the Forest. The Age line wouldn't affect him this time around, right? He hadn't noticed anything changing around him so he was clueless. "They were smart enough to be around Hogsmeade and Hogwarts without anyone noticing them,'' Adi told Maisie. What he meant was that these spiders used their brains, yo!

You know what startled him even more than the possibily of being attacked by acromantulas? Was that another student spoke from the end of the line. He had thought that one of the adults brought up the end but when he turned he saw that it was Cutty, a slytherin boy who had been forbidden to come by his Head of House. He admired his nerves though, and it was too late to send him back anyways. Really smart of him, Yoongi thought as a small grin edged on his face. Besides, they need all the help they could get and if he wanted to come with them he was all for it. What he didn’t like however was the look on Cutty’s face. He looked like he was enjoying this. Was he hiding his fear really well or was he really crazy?

As the adults were talking about the age line, the Gryffindor used this opportunity to look at the others in the group before Professor Morgan raised her wand and shot a spell through the forest.

And then mister ministry , the one who did not want any of the students coming with them, was drawing an S shape in the air after Culloden and Kitridge had blasted a hole and Yoongi desperately wished he knew what kind of spells they were all using . Stupid nonverbal spells… He could learn them next year.

Follow the venom trail? ….eww. And he would be going in to a forest. Eww… and forests mean dirt …eww..why had he signed up again? He wanted to shower already. No turning back now though, they couldn’t wait that long. He followed Cole and Morgan who had taken the lead. Before he could walk further though, he felt something collide with him and the Gryffindor stumbled on his feet, lost his balance and fell on his behind. If he had not seen that it was Adi who had collided with him he would have cast a spell at him… He looked at the shopkeeper holding Adi’s hand and guiding him.

He stood up from the ground and dusted off the dirt…eww… and walked towards his buddy.
”I agree, those little big spiders at the school had to have come from somewhere. The big boss will probably be waiting for us to get the people taken and ……” that was not helping was it?

Working together with Cossy and Cassie the age line soon gave off a loud popping noise declaring that they had breached a hole. It was the only way to let the student's pass through with them. Silently lightening his wand Leo's eyes fell to the ground as Cole pointed out the fresh venom trail. At least they were going in the right direction which was even more clear when Cassie announced that the acromantulas were in the middle of the forest. He was confident that with the aid of his girlfriend's gift of sensing creatures and the venom trail to follow, they'd find the missing students and Annie in no time.

With Cassie and Cole taking the lead Leo stayed close to Yoongi and Adi as they went deeper into the forest. Lightening his way with his wand he kept vigilant. There were webs hanging in the trees above their heads bulging with lifeless creatures. Leo didn't want to look up and see what poor, dead creatures the spiders had feasted on. If he did he might lose his nerve.

Walking in the middle of their little group as they headed deeper inside the forest he started to notice that the webs they were walking past were getting bigger and thicker. "Keep your eyes and ears peeled everyone, the webs are getting significantly bigger and thicker so we must be getting closer." Was that the eyes of a lifeless unicorn that he saw between the branches? Visibly shuddering Leo turned his eyes away from the unfortunate animal and used his wand to slash at the thick webs to his right for a way vent his emotions.

Repeated slashing at said webs revealed a clearing and large webs hanging from the trees where the heads of some young students and the unmistakeable red head of their Headmistress were visibly sticking out of the webs. Leo had to blink several times to believe what he was seeing before he couldn't help exclaiming as he gestured wildly to the clearing for everyone to see. "I see the hostages! They are alive! All of them are alive!" Maybe he blew their cover and alerted the spiders, but he was just so happy and relieved that nobody was dead.

Ahhh! Adi's jumpiness had made Yoongi fall over. He reached out a hand to help his buddy up but the Gryffindor was already on his feet. "Sorry,'' he whispered as Yoongi caught up. "Maisie startled me. I thought it was a spider...'' He wasn't ashamed of admitting that he had gotten scared by one of the creatures.

See? His buddy even agreed with him though that last bit of his statement was off putting. "We'll take the boss out.'' Yeah, this was a strong group here. They could take on the arachnid, right? Letting Maisie lead them, Adi glanced around at the Forest. More trees, more webs. An involuntary shiver ran through the Hufflepuff. Silly webs. His eyes were peeled as Mr K advised but his eyes weren't THAT peeled because the next moment the Librarian was shouting. "Mr K, you'll give us away.''

But eeeep! He saw them? Adi hurriedly peered forward. YES! There they were! His eyes searched for Lux and Ilia. He could recognise Lux by her hair. And that figure there had to be Ilia! And the Headmstress, the others... they were all there!

The Korean guy still held his wand with a firm grip and made sure that he listened to the Professor's instruction very clearly. He misheard one thing and maybe it could lead to trouble. Major trouble. And everybody in this team were okay, Thank Merlin. He still stayed close to Benzi and whatever this guy thought, he's gonna work hard to save each other's back and of course rescue the kidnapped people.

"I'm Jackson." He returned the introduction to the Ravenclaw dude. It's not a good time for that now, they needed to focus with this mission but well, at least now they knew their each other's name. "Nah, that's okay." He spoke with his very low voice. Hold on, Jackson noticed that the Slytherin guy was there with them too. Kinda broke the Murdoch's order, huh? Reckless, but he's dedicated. Besides, maybe the more the merrier wasn't a great term but got a person being in this team can add the strength, right? He hoped so.

As Dakest's instruction, now the ministry guy who tracked down the venom trail and Professor Morgan with her intuition lead them... Entering the forest. Now he really entered the forbidden forest for a mission, if Micky knew about this he's gonna be envious toward him now. Hehehe. His chocolate eyes were wide open and looked around. Wow, no wonder why this forest was forbidden because it was creepy...

Did Kitridge just talk loudly? Well, it was great to hear that the kidnapping folks were alive and hoped that they weren't in a bad shape. But, talking out loud about that could attract the creatures and... and... they're gonna find them. "Sssssssstttt...."Absentmindedly Jackson shushed the librarian down. "I'm sorry, sir. I don't mean to be rude but it'd better if we... not talk too loud."

Her eyes moved to the ground as the ministry man Cole spotted the venom. They were close she could hear things. Her heels slipping into the dirt she pushed on. Moving around the forest the best she could. Her nerves growing the closet they got.

As her eyes kept to the ground she heard the others. As she glanced up she did a quick head check. "Everyone alright?" she felt she needed to make sure, but her thoughts soon changed hearing Leo. He could see them? Looking up she saw the students and Annie. Thank Merlin they were alive!

"I think it's impossible to not be noticed. Remember the plan. We distract you save the others." She looked to the students to make sure they understood. Turning she pointed her wand and moved forward toward the spiders. Sending a spell at the tree behind the group of creepy crawlies to make a noise away from the hostages.

Yoongi waved his free hand vaguely in the air as Adi apologised for scaring him. It was no big deal, he nearly got an heart attack, but no big deal… Maisie? So that was her name? He hadn’t had time to ask since they were all supposed to be quiet.

A word that the Librarian did not know apparently. Because he had been standing near Adi and him, Yoongi jumped yet again only this time he did not shriek or fall over. He was learning see! As the man was yelling that he saw the hostages, the Gryffindor looked to the place he was looking and sure enough he saw them too, alive.

His gaze went to the Ministry man after Jackson had told the Librarian to keep it quiet and he silently chuckled to himself. And the man thought that the students were not a good choice. At least they were silent…

Yoongi looked at Professor Morgan as she remembered them of their plan. He watched her use a spell on one of the trees further away to create a distraction and the Gryffindor looked at Adi with his wand at the ready. “Go for Lux?” he asked as he looked at the hostages. ”Ready?” he knew she was his friend, none of his friends were hostages…Actually, he did not have friends. One of the reasons he wanted to come, he could keep his head straight …if he wasn’t getting jumpy over things.

Hey, he knew that voice. Hang on. What.

CUTTY?!

. . . Okay, calm. Whatever. No time to be mad. Just... Benzi wondered why his friend had disappeared then reappeared out of nowhere without so much as "hi I'm also here." But okay. Sure. He'd protect him from a distance. Like he would everyone.

And also ignoring that Cutty was partnering up with Dakest. Moving on.

Eyes going to the point where the venom entered the forest, Benzi lit up his wand, nodded to Dakest when he said to stick to their pairings, and followed the group into the forest as soon as the Professors blew the age line. Fat load of help it did, the spiders had still managed to carry all the imprisoned students inside. A shiver ran down his spine as he stepped in between the trees, and suddenly didn't understand why the age line was required. Why on earth would someone voluntarily want to walk around in here? Gripping his wand a little tighter, he rolled his shoulders, looked over to make sure Jackson was still beside him and still breathing, and walked on.

Benzi was ignoring everyone in the group who wasn't giving instructions, although his eyes did briefly flicker to the two guys who knocked into each other. At least he and Jackson managed to stay in sync enough to not literally cross paths. Silently judging, he sighed and pressed on, his eyes landing next on his head of house and followed his line of sight to... oh. Oh no.

He QUICKLY turned away from the sight of the dead unicorn and tried not to dwell on what the spiders could have done to Noel in the time it had taken them to get their butts in here. That was a UNICORN. The acromantulas hadn't even spared on of the purest animals in existence he dreaded to think of what they would do to.. to humans. Benzi shuddered and went about slashing at the heavy webs like the rest of them were doing, very much on edge and his previous thoughts all but gone from his head.

This was.. not fun. At all. He needed to grab Noel and leave. NOW.

Jumping when Kitridge announced that he could see the hostages, Benzi quickly pressed forward and tried to peer in the direction he was looking. Bloody webs, he could barely see a thing. Also, yeah Mr. Kitridge, like everyone said, shouting was probably NOT a good idea. But then Professor Morgan spoke, and Benzi's mind cleared.

Right. The plan. The plan was solid. Take care of your partner. Grab a hostage and go. Turning to Jackson, Benzi hissed, "we're going for Noel Wallace, blonde guy, Hufflepuff, fifth year. You ready?" he asked him, and did his best not to search for Cutty in their group. Not the time. Noel was the one in danger.

Actually that wasn't true, they were ALL in danger. Now that Professor Morgan and Mr. Kitridge had noisily announced their presence, no one was safe.
