Across the grounds and far enough away that the distance leaves its own warning stands the Forbidden Forest. Like the name suggests, this forest is off limits without permission and even then it's a risk. Towards the edges of the forest the trees are sparse but they thicken as you go further causing the forest to be a little harder to navigate through. Here, the trees grow so tall and clustered toward the top that even during the day there is very little light so if you do find yourself in here, you'll want to watch your step lest something watch you.
Inside the forest you will find it's inhabitants, most of whom are not usually happy to share the space with humans. Centaurs, hippogriffs, thestrals, unicorns and of course without a doubt acromantulas can be found inside this dark and foreboding forest.
Due to the age line placed around the outskirts by the Professors near the end of last term, the forest itself is inaccessible to students, something you can thank them for later.
He didn't catch the misinterpretation of his words, or how it had emotionally impacted either of the students. His thoughts, and his attention, were beyond that. Namely, trying to figure out who Henry was and what the screaming might have been from.
Thankfully, Brown was present to interpret for him. And her desire to run? It was granted by the time she got to 'wasn't much time', except that it was hardly full speed for him. With his height, and near a decade spent running, it wouldn't take him long to surpass the winded students. That, and if there was trouble, he needed a reserve of energy to deal with it and he needed to remind both himself, and the students, that there was a calm and logical way to approach danger, rather than rushing headfirst. How utterly un-Gryffindor of him.
"I take it the Headmistress has already been informed? If not, one of you best scramble up there and get her." And the one, being Brown. He didn't trust that Truebridge would have time or patience to try to decipher Fuller-Thompson's jumbled words. "Otherwise, take me to the exact spot you left them."
The forest, let alone the edge of the forest was a big place. Wouldn't do to go in at the wrong spot.

"We went with them. To here," he suddenly picked up his explanation as though he'd never stopped now that they neared the boundary of the Forest. "And we tried to go in, but there was a barrier, and it wouldn't let us, and it stopped us, right-"
*SMACK*
Toby had been running full pelt, forgetting to slow down in his urgency to at least do this job right. As a result, he smacked straight into the barrier again and reeled off of it, staggering slightly and blinking, dazed. He'd forgotten just how close it was. But it was fine, he was fine.
"-here. Right here. The barrier." Toby blinked again and shook his head to clear it, before pointing into the trees, towards the tracks that Javy and Culloden were likely already following. "We heard screams when we were here, and they went in there, saying 'not much time', y'know?" Was he babbling? Definitely. Toby wrung his hands, thinking again of Henry and Maclaren, then looked back over his shoulder and across the grounds to see if the others had managed to get Truebridge and bring her out here, unless she was already in there. "I heard yelling when we were all the way over there." Toby nodded his head back towards the Creature Playpens they'd been mapping when the Hippogriffs had freaked out.
... Toby hoped Monty was okay. He felt terrible for leaving him, now.
Sophie Brown loved running, but she was a distance runner, not a sprinter, so the trek TO the castle had significantly winded her, and the trek back out there - even if they weren't going at their absolute maximum speed - was just nearly taking its toll on her, too. She was out of breath by the time they neared the boundary line to the forest, and any time she spoke, her words came out a bit like she was choking. Like now.
"Yeah," she responded, nodding at Tobes' statement to affirm it. "I confirmed with them that they were gonna go get her when I ran off after Tobes. So she's... either already in there, or she's coming."
As they neared the forest, she slowed her pace, and was a bit alarmed when Tobes did not do so - did he forget that there was a barrier that was keeping them ou--
...Yes. Yes, it seems he did, and Sophie gave him a sympathetic look as he recovered from the impact. She looked deep into the forest, then, trying to see something... or anything... but she couldn't see anything. To follow up with what Tobes said, she looked up at Dakest with worried eyes and asked, "What can we do?" Because he was undoubtedly about to charge in there, and she needed orders - needed SOMETHING to do. She couldn't just stand there and watch him go in and have no purpose.

She wanted to help.
So the Headmistress had been informed. Or at least, that was the general idea. Needless to say, there wasn't much time to debate the matter. Students had gone for her. That was that. She'd be along shortly, he was sure. If not, a patronus would be going back to the castle, likely with one of the students in tow.
As it was, all his attention and thought was on getting where they needed to go, and figuring out what to do once there. Something he couldn't really plan without first finding Culloden and Thompson.
He slowed in time to catch Fuller-Thompson off the rebound of the boundary line, putting one hand on his shoulder to steady the kid. "You two, can stay here and keep your eyes and ears peeled."
Moving past them both, he spared a quick glance at the tracks before looking back at the kids. "You see or hear anything and you send a partonus in to us, or to another Professor." They did remember how to do that, right? "Or run if you must. But do not engage. Got it?"
And because he had been told more than once that time was precious, Sabel didn't wait for a response. It was a bit of a rhetorical question. He started quickly but carefully along the line of tracks, careful to keep to the side so as not to disturb them. It was only when he was so far within the forest that a backward glance revealed nothing but the tall, ominous trees, that he decided perhaps saying something would help.
"Cosgrach? Jav--" Well there they were. And looking none-right-too happy.
There was the faintest thought that this was some sort of strange set-up. Something he should be more wary of than he was, but the concern over the student's concern had that particular line of thought settled to a faint whisper at the back of his mind. He slowed his pace as he neared the Professors. "Brown and Fuller-Thompson said there was an emergency...."

Her instinct said to get the students away from the edge of the forest, and any other hippogriffs/animals/people too. She didn't explain the barrier the Board of Governors had put up, for obvious reasons.
"Everyone's okay,'' Adi said hurrying along with Bev and the Headmistress. "Hopefully the Groundskeeper is too.'' He shot Bev a look. Did she think the cry belong to the man? Gosh, noooooo! He must think positive thoughts. The other Professors? Did she mean the other staff? "I think only you and Professor Dakest know about this for now. He must be there or nearly there.'' Sophie and Toby had been fast; surely they had gotten to the man by now.
The Hufflepuff sped up. He had the urge to grab Truebridge by the arm to hurry her along even faster but that would be so... wrong. Instead, he settled for jogging and hoped his two companions would do the same.
...................
FINALLY!
They had arrived at the Forest. It seemed to him they had taken an eternity but he was pleased and relieved to see Sophie and Toby there already. This meant Dakest had already departed into the Forest since he wasn't around. Great! Back up for Thompson and Culloden. Let's hope Dakest didn't need back up too.
Adi halted next to his other two friends. "Guys, how long ago did Professor Dakest go in?'' Maybe there was enough time for Truebridge to catch up with him. He shifted his gaze to the woman. "Can you lift the barrier, Headmistress? We want to help too." He knew the answer even before he asked but he would rather know that he had tried and failed than did nothing at all.
Stay here. Eyes and ears peeled. Got it. Even the mention of patronuses didn't make Toby as weird and frowny as they usually did, seeing as his mind was so focused on the present issue, he just looked to Soph because she would be the one to send something, if anything did happen.
Toby watched as Dakest disappeared off into the trees before he could even respond, specifically listening out for the sounds of any more cries, though there wasn't exactly anything he could do if they sounded. He gnawed anxiously on his lip until the sound of the professor's footsteps had completely disappeared.
He stood there, sometimes chewing at his lip, or at his fingernails, or at his sleeve. Eventually, Toby glanced at Soph and spoke. "D'you think maybe there's a chance that Maclaren never even went in there, at least? Maybe?" The thought had just occurred to him, and he was suddenly hopeful. That didn't help assuage his worries about Henry, but if he could convince himself of this, at least, then it was okay. Never mind the fact that at least some of those cries had definitely sounded human.
While he was looking at the Ravenclaw, Toby saw movement out of the corner of his eye. It made him jump at first, but then he realised it was Adi and Beverly returning with Truebridge. He took an automatic step away from the boundary of the forest and nodded his head when Adi's words reached his ears.
"A few... a few minutes ago? Maybe? I think?" Again, Toby looked at Soph for confirmation, 'cause his own brain wasn't being all that helpful. "He said to stay here and watch and listen and... and yeah." Adi's question to Truebridge had Toby looking at her hopefully, though if he was smarter, he might have known that there was approximately zero chance of that. He'd started the nail-biting again and bounced lightly on his toes, but not out of happy energy, out of pure nerves and that growing antsy feeling. He felt a little better, at least, that they'd been helpful and got more adults.

She was there, holding her side once more as they ran back to the barrier. Toby and Sophie were there, that meant Dakest was too. Maybe with him here now they could all go in and do some butt kicking.
Then again....
If there was something in there causing screaming--what if the meant someone or something was being tortured?
Beverly thought about this. As much as she like laughing in the face of fear, she wasn't stupid. She didn't want to die and last term, Greg died here. She gulped. There was no way she was going to show her indecision, she'd go in there and help and zap as many things possible, but she wasn't going to be stupid about it and get herself killed.
So she waited for Truebridge's answer. Were they going in?
He wanted them to stay. Of COURSE he wanted them to stay, and Sophie looked incredibly disappointed - but then he gave them a better order: to send a patronus if something happened. She opened her mouth to ask if there was something in particular she needed to know about sending a messenger patronus, but before she could ask, Dakest was racing off into the forest.
Welp. Okay. Certainly she'd figure it out in a moment of need.
"Good luck, professor," she called after him, then gave Tobes a nervous expression as she gripped her wand a little tighter. This whole thing was beyond unsettling, but at least Javy and Culloden weren't on their own now, and--
Footsteps, ones belonging to prefects and the headmistress. Relieved, this Ravenclaw was, and she nodded at Tobes' answer to Adi's question. "Yeah, s'just been a little while." Sophie relaxed visibly now that the others were here - now Truebridge could further back up the other professors, and she and Tobes had company, too. She was very much all about that whole "power in numbers" mantra.
Being alert for a long time didn't go him any good.
His muscles ached, he hated everything, and he wanted to be back. But they had to find the stupid groundskeeper. Ugh. Why hadn't they let the bloody hippogriff go away? UGH. He. Hated. -
Dakest?
Cosgrach didn't feel much better, but at least they had an suspicious ex-Auror with them who was also a Gryffindor.
Cosgrach wouldn't even be ashamed to hide behind the man.
"We were just mappin' the grounds," he said, even though the man was new, he'd know what they did last year, "and decided to pay a visit to the Hippogriffs. The animals were restless and we didn't know why and in the end, one of them ran away into the forest. Javy sent a patronus to the groundskeeper who followed it here... then we heard a shrill shriek..." And here they were. Risking their lives for a man who risked it for a hippogriff.
"A little further, their trail ends." He pointed at the spot. How far were they in the forest?
• HuffleStud • Knight of The Zodiac • Manly Beard-Grower • Cicatrice de Harry •
Welp.. this was difficult.
Not just from the searching, but having to finally come to... not much a conclusion in the end. Ah, at last it was Sabel and Annie. Javy could just about make the students a good distance away, safely on the other side of the barrier that protected them.
Javier nodded a little as Cosgrach explained about what went on before the finality, at a tone loud enough for them to know, but not for the students' ears given the distance. "That's right.. and despite our efforts. We've unfortunately haven't found a trace of either Hippogriff nor Scott.." Not even a feather or lock of the Groundskeeper hair. The amount of scratches his suit endured from branches served as some evidence that he had tried. "After searching in the direction of the cries, they turned up empty." It was even more serious than ever.
Sabel looked between the two Professors, the concern that had built up turning to an unsettling unease in his gut. He shifted his weight as he listened, eyes roaming along the tracks, across the trees and trying to see through the undergrowth. There was no doubt the two men had searched fervently, the evidence was all there, on their clothes, in their voices, in their eyes.
Still, he wasn't of the nature to not try himself. To just throw his hands up and call it a day.
"What about up the trees? Or...." Hippogriffs could fly, right? "Do you think they took off?" Not much running room for a runway, but it was a faint hope. Tracks didn't just end.
But even as he asked the questions, moved to where the tracks did end, there was little explanation for it. Nothing. Like they had said. Not even bark scrapings or dropped needles. And he did search, walking around the area of the last tracks, often crossing over what were surely Javier and Cosgrach's prints in the snow. He barely even noticed the arrival of Truebridge.

The groundskeeper had gone missing.
Missing.
While chasing a hippogriff into the Forbidden Forest.
"Why does this always happen at Hogwarts," Annie murmured after Javy's depressing declaration. She sighed deeply and looked up to the sky, then back down at the kids. "You guys need to go back to the castle. Now." The Headmistress then glanced at Sabel. "The adults will keep... searching." What else could they do?

Cosgrach looked frustrated and all sorts of unhappy, then he shrugged.
"Certainly," he said - they took off. There was no evidence of a fight, so they took off. To where, no one knew.
"I'm heading back," he announced. They were clearly done here, as they wouldn't be able to summon the hippogriff or the groundskeeper. He turned around and glanced at Annie once, then began walking back. Unless anyone stopped him, he wasn't going to stay here and risk his life more.
Sabel's attention slipped to the Headmistress, catching her gaze for a moment before turning back to his own task. Cosgrach was painfully unhelpful, but he wasn't going to argue with the man.
Sometimes the most use someone could be was to be absent. Could make sure the kids got back safe, and after a moment Sabel decided that's what the man was doing. Someone had to do it. The kids, the ones remaining, after all were the important ones.
Still, he wasn't ready to go back. His movements and attention made his intentions clear. He would do what Truebridge said they would do. Search. And continue searching until evidence or exhaustion claimed him.

They had learned the hard way when they had attempted to take the two from the Chamber back to their lair. An invisible force had prevented them, but not out smarted them. Drawing from the experience of one of their kind who had ventured down to the wizarding village - and almost blown their cover by eating that one human - the acromantula carrying their newest victims scurried quite a ways away from the castle until they found the place where the invisible force ended.
"This way," sneered the leader carrying one of the humans (BanaBatGirl). "We'll take them to the others."
Which meant they had to scurrying back over the same distance now that they were back in the forest.
Moving swiftly through the trees, but also taking care not to allow any branches or shrubs whack their victims and spoiling them further, it was some time before they arrived at their lair and threw the three humans (BanaBatGirl, Samia, VRSCIKA) into a massive and sturdy web in the middle of their fortress with their previously captured pair (Squishy, Saraie).
"MOTHER! MOTHER!" they chanted excitedly, pincers creating an eerie and terrifying roar filled the ears and chilled the spines of everyone present.
Meanwhile, back at Hogwarts castle, their siblings continued to fight.
Except for the one off chasing after that patronus with its turkey clutched gleefully in its pincers.

Well after screaming her head off, trying to beat the arms of the acromantula away from her waist, and failing to get her wand into her hand in time to stop their progress, Anastasia had almost given up on ever getting away. She had started focusing her energies toward the best last words she could come up with, and also, would her house elf remember to read* her will to Davie and Ethan, the way she had asked him to?!
Shoulders slumped, the redhead barely jolted the rest of the journey... until, of course, the acromantulas carelessly TOSSED HER into a giant web. It took everything within her will not to burst into tears about how STICKY and GOOEY and EWWWWY THIS WAS. Annie would take taming 10,000 nundu ANY DAY over THIS MESS.
DID ANYONE KNOW WHAT HER HAIR LOOKED LIKE RIGHT NOW? She was NOT going to go down looking like THIS. The redhead's fury was awoken again just as the acromantulas started SCREAMING for their mum. She waited, wiggling her bum just so that she was able to get her wand into her hand.
Oh you wait til your mum comes out, you stupid spiders. JUST WAIT FOR THE MEETING OF THE QUEEEEEEEENS. Hmmph!
*or find someone to read it to him, since the elf probably couldn't read...

Even though they had been kept prisoner for what must have been about a week - though it felt like an eternity - Lux was as determined as ever to break free.
The spiders had been feeding them with food from the kitchens in what had to be an attempt to fatten them up. Clearly they were going to be food... Not that she was going to let it happen. As much as she could, Lux had been trying hard not to eat though of course that was impossible.
Lux Carrington wasn't Acromantula chow.
Suddenly there was a commotion. Lux tried her hardest to see what was happening, but it was hard. More people were being thrown into the web from the sounds of it. Oh no. She wouldn't know what to do if any of them were her friends. The only consolation she had was that Bay was safe at home so there was no way he could be in danger.
"Who is there?" she asked, hoping that at least one of the new prisoners would be able to answer.
After hearing the headmistress screaming her head off, Noel Wallace had pretty much lost all hope. This was it, this was how it was going to end for him. He wasn't going to die in his mid-thirties by being an overly popular wrockstar gone wrong. No, he was going to die because he was a hufflepuff and because he went to Hogwarts.
Just perfect.
Wiggling was no use, the hairy things were determined to make him their dinner. Well at least .. he was going to die with the headmistress and not alone. That must count for something? So Noel went over his barely lived life in his head and hoped to merlin no one found his notebook.
Also, family.
And then suddenly he was on icky, gooey bed of web. Oh he was going to die in a really gross way. Ugh. His eyes turned his head to the headmistress as the 'mother' was called, and he ask: " .. any last words of wisdom, professor?" his voice carried more fear than he realized.
...
.. was that Lux??? "Lux?" he called out, turning his head to where the voice came from.

She wasn't dead... Yet and not by a long shot. There was no way in hell she was going to be these hairy legged things cinnamon roll. No pun intended. Nope Cinnamon Bayless wasn't going down that way. At least her captors had thought to keep her feed. Ha they thought they were fattening her nah they were keeping her well feed. She was getting out of here. She had to get back to Bart and Emmy. They'd figure out away to get out. It had been trying to save Lux that got her into this mess, so they were get free. The web was sticky but they were going to break free first chance they could.
She wasn't sure how long she had been the hairy legs, prisoner. A week? A month? Forever? At this point it all really blended into gather. Lux was sure in was a bit more that a week. Cinna could swear it was more like a month. She was glad Lux was there and she wasn't alone.
She heard more hairy legs arriving. And now they really wasn't alone she felt three more people in the web now. She could see who they were but she seen red hair, headmistress red hair. "Lux, I think that's Bunz." She glanced over at her friend. That was all she could really make out of the newcomers. One must've seen Lux. But she didn't recognize the voice. Yeah the hairy legs would really be crying for their mother when she got ahold of one or two. She looked from what she could see a hufflepuff boy and a Slytherin girl. Oh good the hairy legs could eat hufflepuffs first.

She barely had time to blink as the spiders at swarmed her in the hall. Bodies dropped before her but there had been so many that they overwhelmed her, even with the magic she had resorted to using. A few had been severed off of her, but it wasn't enough. The big hairy balls of eww had grabbed her forcefully and so that her wand was stabbing into her own leg. This made it problematic to blow any more of the vile cretins to bits , but while she couldn't use magic, she still fought the entire way none the less.
She screamed in rage......"Let go of me you filthy , hairy, octopedal murderers!".....and attempted to kick, flail, and writhe in a futile effort to extricate herself from the arachnids' grasp. In doing so, she reopened the wound the first to die spider left on her right calf. Now bleeding and still fighting, she felt herself slip from their grasp. No not slip......get flung.......into a REALLY NASTY ICKY STICKY SQUISHY TRAP OF DOOM giant web.
Upon bouncing against and sticking to the nasty stuff, she grimaced.........and noticed that there were others. What now!? Were the murdering freaks trying to have a victory feast together for their 'mother' or something? Was she a raging hors d'oeuvre? One of the other spider snacks captives asked who was there. "A very angry Slytherin.......a few other people she can't see very well.....and way too many evil spiders calling for their mommy." Yup, that was her encouraging reply. Her wand was now stuck behind her and this was going to be a problem........
Hearing her children calling, she moved slowly from the depths of her den.
"Evil? That is all in the eye of the beholder," came an icy cold voice from the darkness.
First to appear were her two front-most legs, terrifying and somehow elegant in their movements, and then her feelers attached to her horrifyingly beautiful head. She paused for a moment to take in the sight as her children continued to chant her name and click their pincers together.
Fully exposed now, her menacing 16 foot height caused her to strike a few lower tree branches as she purposefully move towards the web that held her children's captives. She gazed down upon them each for the first time and her massive pincers clicked together more and more excitedly with each human she gazed upon.
Oh look you stupid spiders. Your mummy is here now. Now hush. How annoying? Merlin she is huge. Were they sure they didn't what to capture more people? It looked like the mother could make a meal out of the five of them. They wasn't the smartest of creatures. With all of then they'd have to eat the whole school not just them. What RATS and other small creatures not good enough for them anymore.
Seriously, did that girl have to upset the mother? Forget the hufflepuffs, eat the Slytherin first instead. The hairy legs mother was looking at them now. She gave the gigantic spider a very dull look. She was creeeepy looking. She wasn't scared not really. Being the only Gryffindor out of the group she'd have to be the brave one, even if she had to act like she was. If this was the way she was going she was going then she was making sure they were going have to fight for their dinner. This was not suppose to be the way she was going to go.
The sixth year wiggled around in the web, she'd been trying forever to free herself but nothing. Thinking maybe with the extra weigh it would have weaken the web. But no, not really. Her wand was inches out of her reach since getting thrown into the web. Dang it, this was bad. Really bad.

Hearing a familiar voice calling her name, Lux struggled to look around and see where it was coming from. "Noel, is that you?" It sounded like him, but she couldn't be too sure of anything after being trapped in a web for an eternity. Aah, there he was; she had finally spotted him..and the very angry Slytherin. "They didn't hurt you guys, did they?" Probably not, but it was good to check. She was concerned for everyone present...
... including the Headmistress. O_O
Nodding her head, she turned her focus back to Cinna. "I'm sure we will be okay. The Headmistress will be able to handle things." Right? Lux was counting on this.
Ugggggh, where was her wand? She would feel a lot better with her wand, but as far as she knew it had been lost at some point on the travel to the Forbidden Forest. Stupid Acromantulas, they were lucky that she was powerless at the moment because otherwise she would kick their butts from here to Sunday.
It was at that moment that the mother arrived.
SWEET CIRCE, that was one huge spider.
Lux paled as a new wave of terror overtook her. Letting out a shriek, she started struggling in an attempt to get free. Why had the Slytherin opened her mouth? It was unlikely that even the Headmistress could deal with an Acromantula that big.

The Headmistress will be able to handle things.
Would she? So far, things....were not looking so bright. Not with this many kids in the web with her. Annie would consider the night a success if someone, even just one human, made it out of here alive.
"Let me handle things," she found herself repeating Lux, with a side-glance at that all-too-confident Snake. She cleared her throat loudly and nodded at the giaaaaaaant Mother Spider.... with the clicking pincers... and the huge eyes... and the hot breath...
Annie tilted her chin up to appear braver than she actually felt. "What's the point of all this, eh? What happened to Hogwarts' long-held agreement with you spiders? We let you live in the Forbidden Forest, and you leave us to mind our business up at the castle. Why are you dooming yourselves to ruin now?" Because they knew that they couldn't SERIOUSLY take over the castle, right? Even if they ate every human at Hogwarts right now, someone would come along and find all the dead bodies and then hunt all the spiders down and then kill all the acromantulas off in revenge.... right?!
Wizards were just powerful like that. She hoped. She hoped her husband would seek revenge for her one day....

Dooming themselves? If a spider could bark a laugh she would but alas there was nothing but a light chuckle. "I believe you are the one in a web, Headmistress." Who was the doomed one here? Soon her children would feast on not only these caught in there intricately woven web but those she'd gotten word of as being locked away in a secure place until they were ready to collect.
Perfectly at her leisure, the acromantula stretched her long legs, crossing the clearing with that elegant little strut she possessed. "We've minded our own business long enough but that has not stopped you humans from wondering into our presence, desecrating our forest as you go. Your kind doesn't understand boundaries. Your kind is known for tresspassing and it is your kind that is responsible for the death of my mate."
She had had this attack in mind from the very moment she caught sight of the lifeless corpse of her greatest love and Hogwarts was no longer in her good graces.
"It is our turn to tresspass." She hissed, the pent up anger escaping her pincers in much the same way the built up venom now was. It was enough that she could taste it. "Go forth my children; take the castle, it is ours. Go forth and devour as many as you like." The mother watched, a contented glow in her dark eyes as a large portion of her children scampered off back toward the forest.
Oh it was Lux. How long had she been captured? And OH there were others. All girls, he noted. It was so not the time to feel uncomfortable about that, Noel Wallace.
The boy was about to answer Lux when the branches moved. Noel had to wonder who had started to play drums as the MOTHER emerged. When the drumming got louder and louder, and his breathing hitched he realized it was his own heart beating frantically. Eyes wide, the sixteen year old STARED - unable to blink, unable to do anything really.
And then the 'mother' spoke.
He was dead. He was dead. He was dead. THEY WERE ALL FUDGING DEAD.
When the headmistress started speaking, Noel forced himself to breathe - he also tried to make himself look away but it was not working. This was the end. This was it.
....
...
The 'mother' was looking for revenge. There was not going to be any negotiation, the headmistress wasn't going to be handling anything. This was it. THEY WERE FEAST. They were dead. Try as he might, he couldn't even WIGGLE anymore. All he could do was curse and not so under his breath anymore. He was allowed to, yes? He was about to die. HE WAS ALLOWED.

Did they hurt them? Did she ask that, the blood was starting to coagulate into scabbing, but her leg definitely got hurt."Not as much as they plan on I don't think." She replied to the Hufflepuff girl as she wriggled , trying to get the arm with the wand from behind herself free. Being a spider snack was not on her agenda, she would go down fighting if she was going down. With her hand on the wand behind her back, she tried to aim it at the web, pushing it downward away from her body. "Reducto" She whispered so that hopefully the creepy squishy bug faced freaks couldn't hear her as she began to cut at the web.
From the depths of the darkness came one of the most chilling voices you would never want to hear. Evil is in the eye of the beholder.......they were certainly evil in the nearly fifteen year olds eyes. The Headmistress said that she would handle it but after Evil Spider Queens reply, Ilia didn't think it would go to her plan. She just sent a little army of eight-legged freaks to the castle! That was where Henric and Adi were!!!
She glared up at the monstrosity that was their enemy. "You have that quote wrong. Its beauty, not evil, not that you would know." If it was going to eat her anyways, she'd at least say her peace. If she didn't have a raging bias against all things spider right now she would probably have even thought that the giant creature in all of her creepy elegance was beautiful.
